We rented a car and had no difficulty parking in the few spots available. Our only complaint was that the property is located at the top of the only access road from the cruise ship tender port, so there was a lot of bus traffic, particularly in late afternoon. Police were stationed at the corner, directing traffic and blowing whistles. This was a minor irritation. We were very happy with our choice of Alti Santorini Suites.

The view could not be beat. Sunset view .. watching the Cruise ships and the peace and quiet. A 15 minute walk into Megalochori was a hidden gem for a stroll and some cute restaurants without a crowd of people. We rented an ATV (set up by the hotel) to get is to Fira and Oia as well as Red Beach. It was no more than 20 mins to get to Oia and it was a beautiful scenic ride. The only negative thing I can say is the endless amount of buses going by the hotel coming to and from the port. But a very minor detail in my mind. Would recommend this place if you don't want to stay in the busy areas of Fira and Oia
- Onss (8/5): - What I did like about this resort was the fact that it was away from all the attractions so it was quiet and not crowded at all. I was under the impression that our room would be more private considering we booked the most private room on the property but you’re still exposed if you want to use the pool in your room which may be fine for some people but I wanted more privacy since I was on my honeymoon. After seeing other resorts on the island I would say yes this one might be on the more private spectrum but still not as expected because you can see all the other people and they can see you if you’re outside and you feel like anyone can just come in to your room it was an odd setup but maybe normal for Santorini. During our stay it was a little cold but they said their pools are heated but it wasn’t even warm enough to enjoy the pool. They do clean the rooms every day, the lady did a great job. But you can tell the rooms have been over used doesn’t exactly look the same in the pictures, I think they need to update equipment our coffee machine didn’t work and the towels and robes looked old. The towels and bed sheets all smell like vinegar and it was overwhelming. The staff are friendly. The resorts biggest perk is the view. Otherwise, it was an ok stay nothing special. You do get breakfast to your room it’s included during your stay. Overall it was ok.

The staff go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. The breakfast with the view was incredible. The rooms are perfect and beds were so comfortable. I stayed in the sugar moon suite and the hot tub and pool were amazing especially with the view. I really recommend this hotel and cannot wait to stay again

Le seul inconvénient est la route qui descend au port est juste à côté de l’hôtel et lors d’arrivée de traversier, c’est très bruyant avec les autobus. Et plus encore, lorsqu’un bateau de marchandise est à décharger, il y un va et vient de camions et on y a eu droit jusqu’à minuit et plus. Mais pour tout le reste c’est tout simplement magnifique.

Giota the property manager is not just a ray of sunshine but the entire ball of sunshine, just her positive attitude, big smile, and friendliness makes you want to stay there more! The view of Caldera and the sunset is perfection. The location is great if you are looking to avoid the crowds and just soak in the sunshine and peace. It is also located next to two major wineries, you can walk to Venesantos and their wine is excellent. Oh and the breakfast they cook is delicious!!!

He was exceptionally nice and helpful. He was very personable, and we spoke about his hometown and Greece in general. Made me feel very welcome. The hotel served us an excellent breakfast every single day. Almost too much food. Everything was good. They ask if we wanted our breakfast on the balcony or in the room. And they came in and set everything up. The views from all the hotel rooms are stunning. The good thing about this hotel is it is away from the major towns on Santorini. Offers a quiet retreat for the evening. Excellent for a romantic getaway. Lots of privacy. You cannot go wrong with this hotel.

- Carl (10/5): - Great views. Right at the top of the road from the ferry. Taxi into Fira 30€. Most areas are that amount to get to if you don’t have a vehicle. But you can’t go wrong with the views. Our suite had its own private jacuzzi( they all do I believe) and ours was right on the edge of the caldera. Oh, did I mention views!

It is not located in Oia or Fira, but it is better because it is more private and still has the main factor which is the amazing view to the caldera and sunset. Rent a car is a must if you want to know places like Fira or Oia. I went to both and I liked more Fira. It was very clean in comparison with Oia. The restaurants in the rooftop in Fira were outstanding. Great food and service. Thanks for the excellent service at Alti santorini. All the staff were amazing specially Georgia. Dionisis was great.
- Steven (10/5): Beautiful Hotel with Spectacular Views - Our stay here was great. The views are spectacular. The hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. The service is excellent. Breakfast every morning was very very good. Everything was wonderful. There are a few smaller restaurants about a 10-12 min walk from the hotel. But best to get a car and see the island. 50 euros per day and they drop off at hotel.

The associates at the hotel arranged our transportation and a cruise, but offer even more. The breakfast was good- so much food and very filling! I cannot say enough great things about this place.

It doesn’t claim to be 5 stars and if anything was only missing a gym otherwise it felt perfect. - Verified traveler (10/5): - Alti suites staff goes above and beyond to ensure the rooms, pools, entire hotel grounds are clean and beautiful. They are very friendly and are always willing to help you navigate the island! The overall experience at the hotel should make it a 5 star hotel. Our views from the junior suite private pool were SPECTACULAR!!! We were overlooking the caldera and volcanic islands, and were also able to get a full view of the sunset each night (from our pool AND our deck!)

- Andreas (10/5): The ideal place for your honeymoon! Amazing staff! - Well my experience cannot be described with words! My wife and I had an amazing honeymoon at Alti Suites! The staff, Yiota, Michalis, Melodia and Son made our stay even more enjoyable! We stayed in the sunset suite which has spectacular, breathtaking views of the famous Santorini Caldera. The room was spacious, clean and decorated to a high standard. In addition the room had its own private outdoor hot tub overlooking the Santorini Caldera. The most important thing is that the hotel is located in a more quiet area (minutes away from airport, thira and oia) which is ideal for those looking for more privacy compared to the busy streets of Oia and Thira. Will definitely stay here on my next visit to Santorini!
- paula (10/5): Beautiful hotel with breathtaking views - We unfortunately only got to stay for one night as we came from Mykonos and had one night in santorini before catching our flight home. We absolutely loved this hotel. We had the junior suite which was amazing- a pool right along the cliff and we watched sunset from it and by far the best sunset in santorini (we had also stayed in Imerovigli for a few nights at the start of our trip). I loved that this was a small hotel, quiet and close to the wineries, a short cab ride to Fira for dinner and also close to the airport since we had a super early morning flight. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating and the staff did extra special touches that you don't get with larger hotels. We will definitely be coming back for a much longer stay next time!

The whole staff there were so welcoming and helpful and caring and just really down to earth beautiful people! They made our time there with being so tentative to all our needs and providing service that was second to none! The included breakfast every morning was so yummy and such a great way to start the day. The views from Alti Suites are breathtaking and we would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone! We will certainly be going back as soon as we can! Thank you again to Yiota and the whole team, we miss you guys so much already!

- Baz (10/5): Phenomenal views in a quiet area - The hotel staff were amazing! The views were beautiful and the hotel was spotless! I would highly recommend anybody staying here, the sunsets are just as amazing as Oia without the crowded people and by your private Jacuzzi. There is one Jacuzzi that gets unobstructed views and we were lucky to get it. The hotel is just above the port if you're taking a boat to Santorini

The hotel is beautiful the view is amazing especially your private pool/jacuzzi. All the staff are brilliant every in counter was a pleasure, nothing is to much trouble they all go that extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Michael and Angelo are so friendly and really add to your experience. The hotel is perfect to switch off and enjoy a few days of total relaxation.

(10/5): heaven on earth - Words are not enough to describe this amazing hotel. as soon as you enter the door of Alti Suites you will be amazed from the warm welcome of Yiota, Michael and Vagelis. The view of volcano and caldera is indescribable..really breathtaking! our suite was very comfortable with minimal design and very clean. Breakfast was really amazing and tasteful and the portions was huge! it was served to our terrace looking the amazing view! Sunset was magic, watching it from our pool. Everybody was very helpful with a lot of tips and information about Santorini. We had everything we needed before we ask it. Alti Suites is the ideal place to relax and have a memorable stay. we totally recommend it. We wish to come back to Alti Suites soon!!

Everything from the smallest detail is carefully taking care from the lovely team of Alti Suites. As soon as we arrived and welcomed from Yiota and Michael we felt like home. Our suite was amazing with minimal style, very comfortable and clean. We had our own espresso machine and a kettle! The smart tv with the keyboard was a great touch!! Our pool-Jacuzzi right in front our terrace was heated and the view is something unbelievable. Panoramic view to Caldera cost line and volcano is something breathtaking. Sunset there was memorable. Breakfast with room service was great, very tasteful and huge! Everybody was helpful and willing to provide us anything we needed. What a place!! Unforgettable holidays. we totally recommend Alti Suites. You will be treated like royalties!!! We had the time of our life!

- Jerome (10/5): Beautiful experience - The staff at Alti were phenomenal. They were happy to help, chat, make fantastic recommendations, arrange reservations and outings. We could not have asked for anything better. Room was clean, fresh toiletries, nice style, beautiful view over the ferry terminal. Hotel is small with only 6 rooms so level of service is high and only 2 years old. We will definitely be back if we ever find ourselves in Santorini again. wish we had more than 2 nights.

Great location: Isolated enough such that you don't feel the hectic tourist crowds, but with car you're close to anywhere you need. Great rooms: Modern, minimal design, private pool was unbelievable. Great staff: In the end the staff is what made our experience so great! Never had to look for them, they were available at all times. Always friendly, full of assistance and advice. No matter what you need, they will take care of it!!!
