• Jayne (5/5): Bad plumbing and distasteful water but good breakfast and comfortable bed. - Comfortable bed, nice breakfast, very clean, free parking on site. Water tasted like earthworms, toilet plugged and I had to go to the front desk to get a plunger, no microwave. People across street constantly smoking pot so couldn't keep window open for fresh air, room was musty smelling when I opened door.
• Dana (7/5): - Bed was fantastic. Room was large and very clean. They gave us complimentary access to the kitchenette which we didnt use but was nice anyway. Basic breakfast included and all day complimentary coffee was nice. The small parking lot needs resurfacing. The stalls are very tight and big trucks should NOT be permitted to park in it or only certain spots. The asphalt is very old and damaged. Also very unclear where u can and cannot park and this is a problem when parking is in demand. The maintenance man spoke to be extremely rudely after I had asked the front desk person if where I parked was OK. Rude jerk. They need to get their act together regarding the parking lot.

Sa localisation et le service sont excellents, le personnel très sympathique. On a le choix de l'option avec petits déjeuners ou d'une cuisine. De plus, les touristes ont accès à des vélos électriques pour visiter la ville, dont le réseau de pistes cyclables est fort bien aménagé. La seule ombre au tableau est le bruit et le claquage de portes tôt le matin.

Rooms would benefit from chars that are comfortable to sit in and are at a height that can be used with the table in the room. Bathrooms need a safety bar in the showers. Overall the motel would benefit from color - rooms and breakfast area look used and drab.

• Carla (9/5): We’d stay here again. A good budget option. The staff were very accommodating & friendly. - It’s an older property but if you don’t mind that it has some great features, such as a ‘Great room’ where you have access to tea, coffee, hot chocolate, comfy seats & TV 24/7 accessed by your key. Plus a decent self serve breakfast. It is also located walking distance from several eateries & small convenience store & a 4km easy walk to the city centre. The great feature for us was the free e-bikes which we took advantage of to really explore Vancouver Island; a great bonus. If your mobility is an issue you’d need to request a ground floor room as lugging heavy bags to the second floor might present a problem. The room was a bit stuffy but did have a cooler. The electrics seemed to struggle at times but didn’t present any problems.

Excellent proximity to Glo (which is a very nice restaurant by the river) and the trail (bike and walking). Free parking. Breakfast fine considering it’s included in the price. This place is cheap and cheerful. Our room was very small with limited storage for bags. The whole place is dated and there is very limited things to do/eat nearby. But the price is probably reflective of all the negatives. Would I stay again? Probably not. Was it fine? Yes.

Room was quiet. Breakfast in the great room was very nice. Staff were all professional and friendly. The building is starting to show its age, mainly on the outside.

Die Einrichtung ist uralt und leider im Gesamten nicht schön.

It was also very nice to have free bike rental available, so you can explore Victoria by bike routes. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms could use a little upgrade, but if you are looking for modest, comfortable, and affordable accommodation, this is a good option.

• Morgan (9/5): A wonderful old-school experience - I love the location , and it is a rare survivor of the golden age of ma and pa motels....independent, not part of a chain. The grounds are lovely and there is a huge sequoia tree there.
• Tracey (9/5): Unassuming gem of a hotel. A bit dated on the outside, but don’t let that fool you. - Newly renovated room, so super clean and no odors. It’s in a quiet neighborhood. Comfortable bed, new carpet, paint and bathroom. Second floor balcony patio. Bikes and kayaks to borrow. Really unassuming little gem. I hope they will renovate the whole place. It’s a pretty little older hotel. The was nowhere to plug our phones beside the bed. A simple fix is to get lamps with outlets. The portable AC was effective, but quite loud. There doesn’t seem to be central air conditioning.

• Wenying (8/5): Good - It’s an old motel newly renovated with new and clean bathroom and towels. It’s located not far from downtown, in a quiet neighborhood. Friendly for visitors on a car. The breakfast was worse than the usual continental breakfast as there was not fried egg or patato chips provided. And an electric kettle in room can make the experience much better.

• iangD660TL (10/5): Quiet with clean rooms and comfortable beds - plus close to downtown. Great value. - This is our 4th time at the Inn over the years. As usual the room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff both very friendly and efficient. The motel is 10 min away from downtown by bus (if you don't want to drive). Plus it's only a 10 min walk to the Gorge Walkway - which is a fantastic walking/biking trail alongside the inlet all the way to downtown (about 50 min walking distance). Not only are the room prices good, they STILL offer a free breakfast with muffins, pancakes, toast or cereal! And while it's definitely a vintage motel from the 50's, they have renovated their rooms and, especially their bathrooms.

Notre lit était super comfortable.Le coin était super tranquille.Le personnel est courtois et toujours de bonne humeur. Nous avons même profité des vélos électrique qu'ils nous prête. Ils nous ont donner le goût d'y retourner. On y pense vraiement. Merci à tout l'équipe du Robin hood Inn and suies. Vous faites un beau travail. Bon à savoir ,les chambres sont sur plusieurs étages mais il n'y à pas d'ascenseur. Si vous avez une mobilité réduite il serait bon de leurs dire.

• Pammila (9/5): One of our go-to motels when visiting! - Conveniently located, inexpensive, friendly staff, continental breakfast. Starting to age, little to no parking available, gorgeous tree out front is breaking up the parking lot area making for uneven footing.

The bathroom had been upgraded recently and was great. The property is a little far from anything. If you have a car, that is not a problem. Public transport is close by and very useable. Walking to downtown area takes about 45 mins.
