The bunk beds were good and the queen bed was good and comfy, however the single bed on top of the queen bed was awkward and could have been put where the table was put. The table is not necessary. We just used it to put our stuff on. Rest was great 👍

Comfortable walk to the village plaza. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. A village shuttle bus if needed. A chair in the room would have been handy. Only place to sit is the bed.

Staff were awesome. We thought the breakfast was a bit bland - very carbohydrate heavy, no real sources of protein or substancial to fill you up before going skiing. Only bread, jams, pancakes, cereal, juice, etc. No eggs, cheese, potato's or anything like this. Wouldn't be a problem if there were shared cooking facilities.

Paying $370 for one night and not being able to even stay for a 24 hr period in our room is quite unfair. Otherwise the staff and dinner were amazing and the room was cozy.

No extra blanket, no extra cushion - the fake leather lining the bunk beds ripped. The cupboards didn’t close. Why give me Red Bull ? Just give me water, in the most beautiful nature surrounded by fake leather, old towels suitable for dogs… and curtains as though we had landed in Mumbai?…The Argentine guy Coco was amazing, the Italian girl & the cleaning staff very helpful. The Duck Inn needs a Reno or it should close down. The restaurant was sad… very sad. A simple hearty menu - with good vegetables & bread. Simple protein is all you need after a strong day sking. I don’t need frozen scallops, frozen, tuna, frozen salmon…. $310. Dollars after ?… Let’s be realistic- everyone is doing it hard, but the balance is necessary. As the location is further out of town the restaurant at night is a plus but not at that price. Breakfast was non existent!! Slice of toast or cereal- no soy milk… nothing.. ridiculous.

Dinner in the restaurant was even more disappointing and expensive. I would have been embarrassed to serve such bland food at such high prices. Had to show the reception staff the state of their shower drain that was blocked with hairs. Should in all honesty tell guests to bring their own coffee amenities for the room. Overall the worst ever accommodation in Australia. And if I may add we travelled this beautiful country quite a bit…

We stayed three nights there and we requested from the reception to checkout around 10.30 (30 minutes leter than the normal time) but the receptionist asked us to pay extra 50 plus dollars for that. We had the dinner from the hotel restaurants and we had to stay almost 1.5 to 2 hours to have our food. Staff were friendly but not professional.

It was clean, the staff were accommodating and whenever we needed anything always willing to help and were friendly! Not much I can fault, honestly it was great! Overall!

- Ingrid (8/5): - Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient with 10m away from the village free shuttle bus. Internet access across the mountain was unstable but Duck Inn WiFi was good enough for checking email. Breakfast was very convenient. There is on lunch or casual dinner. We had to go back to the village for a quick bite. Restaurant only offers 2 or 3 courses meals.

- James (5/5): - we were up for the interschools weekend, many of the days the kids needed to be at the event at 8.45am, and the staff would not open the kitchen for breakfast early. So often the kids missed breakfast. As breakfast was basically toast and cereal it would have been very easy for the breakfast facilities to be open early to accommodate most of the guests needs
- Ashleigh (7/5): Decent accommodation if you want a warm bed and hot shower after a day of skiing. Not too far into the village and very - Helpful staff and good location right near a shuttle station. The free breakfast was nice and a great way to fuel up for a day of skiing. Having the ski hire within the lodge made it really convenient as well. The drying rooms were much appreciated and we were very grateful to be able to store our luggage in the storage room after we checked out. It wasn’t very clean - the bathroom floor was covered in the previous guests hair. The light from the TV (even when turned off) was so bright and shone directly towards us when we were trying to go to sleep - had to cover it up with a scarf.

- SUZIE (2/5): - The hotel was smelly, dirty and had terrible staff morale, especially from the management. We experienced: terrible plumbing smell throughout the accommodation (like sewerage), no TV controller (therefore no TV), dirty bathroom floor, broken curtains, rain leaking into bathroom, shower leaking onto toilet area, no WiFi in room, incomplete restaurant menu, rude ski shop attendant, old, dirty ski equipment: ill-fitting helmet, unmatched ski poles, kept waiting by manager who wouldn't help because he was 'asleep' (8.15am-10.00am). I'll never go back again.
