• Daniel (8/5): lindo casarão antigo de 1872 - O hotel é um antigo casarão bem conservado, histórico. Já foi um grande hotel, dá pra sentir pelo estilo da decoração. Perdeu algo do antigo glamour mas ainda vale a experiência. O quarto era grande e com teto muito alto, a cama também era enorme! Ao lado da praça principal, super perto para qualquer caminhada e passeio. Eles guardam vagas para estacionar o carro em frente, isso foi muito bom e conveniente. Não tem café da manhã. O preço é caro... como qualquer hotel em Porto Rico.

• Carmen (7/5): Descanso Total - Ubicación céntrica. Los empleados de ‘front desk’ son muy amables y conocen el área bien. Los pisos de vinilo están en muy mal estado y necesitan ser reemplazados. El “Room Service” debe ser hasta las 11:00 PM, por lo menos.

• Philip_Bolster (8/5): Old fashioned hotel, very centrally located - Room with very high ceiling in an old building. You feel as of you were in the 19th century. Great for history lovers. Extremely well located, only a few meters from the central square. The shower was difficult to manage. Very loud noise from neighboring air conditioning which only stopped after midnight. The bed was very poor.

• Sinuet (6/5): If we didn't have a leak in the ceiling it would've been a good stay despite some TLC required. - The room was spacious, the a/c worked perfectly, there were plenty of towels available and the employees were pleasant. Needs some TLC and a coffee maker in the room or some coffee available in the lobby. It was nice to park right in front of the hotel and there was always a local man looking to earn a tip to guide you in or out and move the bollards for you to drive away from the curb. The water pressure in the shower was ok, and the water was warm but not hot. Desperately need more lighting. Bed was ok, a bit on the firm side. The two chairs in the room were acceptable, and the mini fridge worked for keeping water chilled. 1. Room 206 had a leak in the ceiling; during a rainstorm we were woken up by dripping water on our heads at around 3am. We couldn't move the bed, so we changed positions and tried to sleep until morning. I mentioned this to the person at the front desk as we left our room for the day. When we returned at around 7pm, I asked the night shift employee if she was aware that the ceiling had a leak, and she indicated she would follow up on this. At around 8pm the front desk employee sent me a text (no phones in the room) asking if we wanted to move to another room. However, since we were checking out the following morning and there didn't seem to be a forecast for rain. We opted to stay in the room. 2. Room and bathroom dark, not enough lighting and no windows. 3. No coffee maker in the room. The front desk person offered us a small drip coffee maker and coffee/cups/sugar for $4, we paid the $4 but what a disappointment. The coffee was the worst we've ever tasted and definitely not a brand from PR. This is from an Island where coffee is one of their specialties. Poured it down the sink and had to go to the local coffee shop around the corner for a tasty cup of Puerto Rican coffee. They need to seriously consider doing what most other hotels offer, a small coffee maker with Puerto Rican local "Yaucono" brand coffee pods. 4. The marble on the stairs leading to the second floor are in need of repair as there are many broken or cracked areas and dirt build up in the corners. 5. The floors in the room are patched in various sections, and those areas were spongy when stepped on, makes one wonder if one will fall through the floor. 6. The tv remotes are quirky and you'll need to figure out how to get to local channels via direct tv - a quick tutorial or channel lineup would've been helpful. 7. No kleenex tissue available in the room or bathroom.

No pudimos hacer early check in y eso fue un poco incómodo para el tipo de viaje que hacíamos

This was hours after i had already booked online. I left, didnt even ask for another room. Since the photos online i should have known.

• guillaume (7/5): Hotel agréable dans le centre de Ponce - La chambre n'étaitpas grande mais la hauteur des plafonds (20pi) donne un sentiment de grandeur. Le balcon donne sur la rue et est "partagé" avec les autres chambres. Le lit est confortable, la salle de bain est bien. dans l'ensemble l'hotel à son charme est est très bien situé au centre de Ponce. Quelques choix de restaurants autour car l'hotel n'offre aucun service dans ce sens La rue peut être bruyante jusqu'à 11h le soir. DEs voitures passent avec la musique à tue tête ce qui est un peu pénible. j'aurai aimé pourvoir prendre le dejeuner sur place au lieu de sortir. Une piscine aurait été un plus

• Robert (9/5): Comfortable stay in the middle of the action - The hotel is perfectly located, less than a block away from the main square. It combines old charm with modern amenities. The staff is very friendly. The room was a bit on the dark side.

• Andrés (8/5): - Hotel histórico en el centro de Ponce. La habitación muy amplia con una cama cómoda y todo muy limpio. Pudimos aparcar justo enfrente del hotel en unas plazas que tienen reservadas para los clientes. No dispone de ascensor, pero entendemos que es un edificio muy antiguo. Algunos detalles de la habitación necesitan de una remodelación como los suelos.

• steven (7/5): Almost perfect - Room was comfortable and spacious. Location was excellent to main plaza in Ponce. Parking was easy. The ONLY thing I did not like was the lack of hot water in the shower and sink.
• yvon (9/5): - Magnifique hôtel historique, de charme, situation en plein coeur de la vieille ville. Beaucoup de cachet pour une étape hors du temps. Il n'est pas facile de se garer dans le quartier mais fort heureusement, l'hôtel dispose de quelques places de parking devant l'entrée, réservées pour ses clients, et ce gratuitement ! Un conseil, prenez une chambre supérieure avec balcon, certes elles donnent côté rue (bruyant sur le matin) mais celà en vaut la peine. Juste un détail mais quand même... pour un hôtel de cette catégorie, pas de bouilloire ou nécessaire à café dans la chambre et impossibilité d'avoir un café le matin à l'hôtel, on nous demande d'aller sur la place où se trouvent divers établissements. C'est un peu dommage. Seul point "faible".

• Franchise (10/5): Old school stay loved it overall. - Location and the old style look. Like a bed and breakfast which I recommend. Bathroom door we had to push it hard all the time for it to close. That should be a quick fix.

Als - They charge for coffee even though you have a coffeemaker in the door I’ve never paid for coffee /filter . Bed wasn’t comfortable you can hear a pin drop in the hallway that’s how think the doors are .

Local noise late into the night was disturbing. Parking couldn't have been easier. Right outside the front door with stanchions in place for reserved parking. In addition the staff had left a welcoming "Pregnant mom" sign in our room. Very personal touch and appreciated! Staff were very receptive and helpful A clearer understanding of the room you are reserving on booking.com. Noise was disturbing but not sure how you can control that.
• JULIE (9/5): Fuimos a la actividad de Life Link en Castillo Serrallés. - Cama fue comoda. Estacioné al frente del Hotel. Se me dificulta subir escaleras y alli no hay ascensor. Salvó la situación que las escaleras son anchas y tienen par de descansos.
