Guest Reviews
- Tanvir (2/5): - This property is not good for young people. Dirty outside Feels scary at night. Insects everywhere ants , flies.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It’s nice if you like peaceful and quiet but a little unmanaged and service is bit slow
- Verified traveler (4/5):
- Ana (2/5): Cancellation - We had to cancel the reservation because of the uncleanliness of the property. There were insects and huge spiders, no front desk service.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Full of bugs, long muddy road to reach the hotel - The hotel had a long muddy road to reach the hotel. The room was full of bugs. The duvet was yellow which I'm assuming used to be white. The pool was cloudy. Over all experinace was horrible we checked out and did not stay
- sierra (6/5): - The views of this room are lovely, but our pool was green and the room wasn't regularly cleaned. There is only 2 shuttles into town, one at 10am and the other round 3pm. And its not exactly close to town, so we had to hire our own scooter.
- Eoni (8/5): Nice villa! - Our stay was great. The villa is pleasant specially of what you look for is have quality rest away from the craziness of nowadays world. The villas are located around 150m from a road that connects them to Ubud and this junction to them is not asphalt so mainly is taken only by local people who goes to the fields and the villa guests.
Each villa has it's own private pool, garden and the main room. The room has a queen size bed covered by a nice cotton anti mosquitoes net, four pillows and linen. There are chairs and a small desk, two night tables a small flat screen tv with satellite channels and a DVD player. Also the room has an a/c unit (ours was quite loud no matter what temperature/fan level you set). Attached to the main room there was a small pantry, it has a medium sized fridge (with freezer) one fire stove with a frying pan, a kettle and a microwave. Everything was working fine and if you need to cook for any day you can ask the staff for cutlery and dishes and they will provide.
There's a small room with a wardrobe and that's where we left our luggage, also they provide a safe in case you need to store some valuables (inside de wardrobe). Close to this space you'll find the bathroom, separated in a toilet and sink, with a mirror and a small table this space is separated with a door from another closed one that leads you out to a shower and a stone bathtub.
The breakfast was provided in our pack everyday and there's a daily shuttle to Ubud center. Could write more...
- martin (6/5): Good hotel - Good hotel for the budget conscious, close to everything
- Elena (10/5): My comfort zone - i love staying in this villa. the staff were friendly and the villa itself was good.
- Larry (10/5): “Wish I could have stayed longer!” - I love the villa and the staff were good. Such a comfortable stay with a good price!
- lone traveler (4/5): Hotel in the middle of nowhere - Nice staff, but my private pool right across from construcion site no privacy.
No hot water.
Breakfast very disappointing.
No staff presence, as I was alone female and no other customers was quite disconcerting.
Had booked for 3nights but after one I told staff about problems including stale sheets. They tired to charge me for three nights!! Very expensive so far out of Ubud.
- tanya (8/5): great place - Little hard to find no signs aircon was broken but other than that was beautiful peaceful quiet very clean staff were friendly an helpful
- Inly (8/5): - Beautiful villa situated at a quiet village, friendly staff.
- jasspreet (2/5): Terrible experience - One of my worst stay ever at a resort, its no where close to a resort, room has lizards and cockroachs pool was so dirty and not a private pool at all no basic facilities at bathroom. Had to move out the next day. Poor place, in the middle of a small street around the houses. Worst experience ever
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent! - The staff is super nice, friendly an helpful. Everything is good
- cosmichippy777 (4/5): Many things did not work - definitely NOT 4 star! - We stayed here for our honeymoon. When we are arrived the Internet and TV did not work. The boy blamed the "Internet centre. We accepted that until men arrived to fix the cable in the room. We were woken up to let these men in. My wife was so tired she was still in bed! The Internet was intermittent from that moment on but the TV was never fixed. The TV was positioned with comfortable position to watch it anyway. On my first dip in the "private" swimming pool (which overlooks the road!), I was asked by a local to get out of the pool to get a phone number! Both the shower and the bath had little more than dribbles of water and it was hard to keep the water hot for more than 3 minutes. Breakfast was the worst that I have had anywhere in the world (and I lived in India). There is NO RESTAURANT at the hotel. The boys came with cold eggs and the "A-la-carte" drinks were sacket coffee and watered down orange juice. They could not even make powdered cappuccino right. Tthe bed was the most comfortable that we had in Bali and the room itself lovely. The pool was small (we expected that) and nice to look at. It only had 1 reclining chair by it! There was no space for two people to sit by the pool. Strange for a honeymoon hotel. Finally the location is misleading. It is about 20 minutes drive from Ubud, at least an hour's walk. There are no restaurants near by, except one Spa about 10 minutes walk away. You need your own transport. Not good value. Avoid.
- Zoe (8/5): Beautiful with few flaws - Too far away to not have dinner room service.
The shower wasn't great, very weak and swapped from too hot to too cold rapidly and we couldn't fill the bath up which was really disappointing.
Private pool isn't private either
Overall though, it was a beautiful villa and staff were very sweet and accommodating
- Rachel (8/5): Good place to relax and friendly staff - It's great you get a villa with private pool at this low price. Though my swimming pool is adjacent to the village road and stairs so it should be considered as a partial private pool. The room is awesome and nicely decorated. There is a safe box in the cloakroom. You can also take a bath in the stone bathtub while seeing stars. Unfortunately they don't have inner restaurant but a small kitchen is there and you could cook by yourselves. We dropped by somewhere on the way for take away food instead. The staff there are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is home made by the staff and it was lovely. One thing to note is that there are spiders, mosquitoes and ants there. But this is normal in Bali since it is close to nature. The hotel is 10 km away from central Ubud so you need to take a taxi there and it may cost you IDR 90,000. But the good point is you can get more relax there.
- Solo Traveller (8/5): Beautiful but isolated - The villa is new & gorgeous and the staff helpful, but located in a small village 20 minutes by car out of Ubud, so budget for lots of Taxis! The plus side is living among real Bali rural life - but at the cost of your independence to be mobile - lots of waiting for drivers...
