• cynthiaz594 (10/5): Excellent Hotel in Marshall - The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly, efficient, personable and accommodating. The breakfast was fresh and an attendant stands by to refill any items needed. Immediately. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby 24 hours a day and also a coffee machine is provided in the room.

• mikesY4923NT (2/5): Told I had no reservation, then charged my card. - Reserved a room online for 3 nights. Went to check in on 1/8/26 and was told they had no reservation for me. When I get my credit card statement, I was charged for one night on 1/10/26. Definitely not a way to do business
• Andrew (8/5): Clean, Comfortable, and good breakfast - Location was good as it was near most everything in Marshall. BTW Marshall isn't very big.... I liked the bathroom, the cleanliness of everything, and I especially liked the free breakfast. For a non-boutique hotel the free breakfast was much better than average. I only came for work, so only really cared about the room and the breakfast, and both were great for price. Can't say I found fault with much of anything.
• andreamO7293WK (8/5): Smelling water - Nice place, but the bathroom sink water, smelly like sewer when running!! Not right away, but after washing my hands it started smelling really bad. After that just used bottle water for brushing our teeth and rinsing. Thankfully the shower didn't smell!! Other then that, everything else was nice.
• Kimberley (7/5): - The beds are SUPER comfy and the breakfast always is fresh and has great choices. It is close to our family and perfect for staying when we are farming our visiting. The staff is somewhat unpleasant. We had an issue where we had to cancel last minute due to illness, they charged us a higher rate than the first night stay, when I tried to at least get them to reduce the charge to the lesser rate, they were unwilling to, and talked over me until I hung up. We ended up feeling better, so rebooked a 2 night stay on booking.com, so it felt rather insulting that in the end, the hotel did not work with us to reduce or lift the cancellation fee.

• Kimberley (9/5): - This is the perfect place for us to stay when we are visiting family! Very comfortable and quiet and clean. We also enjoy the breakfast options. This is a weird thing, but I hate there are no fans in the bathrooms, so it gets steamy in the room when someone is in the shower. Fans would help the bathrooms stay a bit nicer, longer.

• Sarah (4/5): - The moment I walked into the hotel, there was a smell in the lobby. As if someone just had an upset stomach. It carried on to the 2nd floor and then into our room. By the afternoon of the second day (we stayed three nights), I was nauseous and called down to the desk. They told me no one else was complaining of a smell but they would come up and spray our room. I asked if we could switch rooms to the 3rd floor and they agreed. There was hardly anyone in the hotel the first two nights but they tried to tell me they had no availability. By the third and last night, the smell wasn't in our room anymore, but it was everywhere else, the moment you stepped into the hallway. My whole family smelled it. It was awful and I'm not convinced there isn't a dead body somewhere that's decaying. Honestly. My eyes were watering. If they hadn't moved us to the 3rd floor where it was at least tolerable in the room, we were prepared to move to another hotel altogether. They would not give us any discount or break at all. Awful! On the other hand, my kid loved the pool and hot tub. I was told breakfast offered was pretty decent, too.

• GordonG132 (10/5): Solid 4.5 -- almost all great; read for many details - Very clean and neat, no odd or bad odors. Bed comfortable. Chair and couch (we got a 1-room king suite) fairly comfortable. Water pressure average. Water from faucet not bad to drink. Pool smallish (but not too small), average temp; hot tub big and nice, but not as hot as we like it; chlorine smell not overpowering. Heard TV and some voices from next door room (walls NOT very sound proof). Near highway but heard VERY LITTLE highway noise! Heat/cooling unit has 2 fan settings, which is GREAT. Breakfast very good, though could have been hotter (but was warm) -- good quality waffles; decent biscuits and gravy; scrambled and hard-boiled eggs; diced potatoes; good sausage; 3 cereals with 2% and skim milk; oatmeal packets (add hot water); hot sauce, salsa, and ketchup packets; breads and pastries; packaged jams and peanut butter; lite yogurt and sealed fruit cups (refrigerated); fresh apples, good fruit juice; decent coffee with real half-and-half. GREAT location: close to highway, Wal-mart and some other stores VERY close. Wi-fi ok; through a VPN on a Saturday morning (probably low-use in the hotel) I got 10Mbps download, 14Mbps upload. TV excellent quality picture. Our room was carpeted with shower stall and no tub in the bathroom. Water is decently soft. The front desk person is sometimes not there, but a phone on the desk can be used to call and they then come to help. Appears to have electric car charging stations. The only negative about our stay was hearing the tv in the room next door at times; I could have deducted a star for this but decided not to. If the room had been better insulated from other rooms' sounds, and maybe if it had been a little cheaper, this would be a solid 5. As it is, it is 4.5 but close enough I gave it a 5, so we did.

Nothing wrong with the hotel. It was a bit more difficult to find since it was not in the same area as the other hotels.

There was a restaurant/bar within walking distance and a small go kart track and mini golf course also. There is a pool and hot tub. The breakfast was perfect to get us started on the day. Would recommend this hotel.

• Gilberto (8/5): Pleasant enough - Staff was friendly, lobby and other common areas were nice. Our room felt a bit outdated and the bathroom, though clean, had an unpleasant sewer-smell. The shower curtain rod was on the floor and the shower curtain was folded up on a stool in the bathroom. When I let staff know about this, it was fixed by the time we returned to our room later that day. While bedding is not changed out daily (unless requested), I was disappointed that our beds were not made daily. Breakfast had a nice variety of options.
