- Kathy (9/5): Mountain town - Beautiful location in a small town in the mountains. We took a taxi from Taichung station (about $50 usd, 1.5 hours). Very helpful staff. Great hiking nearby and easily reachable by bus. Maps available at the tourist info station just up the road. Wonderful outside tubs to soak in when we returned. Good breakfast. All rooms on our floor were alike. Small rooms. The bed is small, short and extremely uncomfortable for two people. They need new/better mattresses and there are no bedside lamps or reading lights. With those changes it would be an even better place to stay.

The eating area is very clean and spacious. The kids water play area could be more cleaner. Water was too cold.

The toilet also had an automatic heated bidet with its own private hot spring bath. I did not quite like the position that the hot spring was located. There was also no enforcement to bath before going into the water. There was a slight rain when I was there but there was no sheltered hot springs

- Chu (8/5): Been to this place many time and always enjoy the hot spring there. - It’s been a while since I was there last time. The room and common areas are upgraded, it’s great for kids. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient with free parking. -If the noise insulation from the room upgraded would be even better. I got disturbed and woke up from the people talking in the corridor. -the bed and pillow were a bit too hard, but this is really my personal preference.

- Po Kai (8/5): 滿意的渡假經驗 - 帶著老婆與孩子(1Y)，第一次到谷關旅遊就選擇統一渡假村。最讓我印象深刻的是飯店人員的服務很好，我選擇的是溪景房，空間舒適、景色宜人。房內浴室打掃得很乾淨，浴缸沒有卡垢。 整體住宿空間讓我們很滿意。若要說缺點，房內有些角落一眼可以看到灰塵夾雜毛髮，應該要請清潔人員多加注意。第二是，水龍頭做成方形，四個角都太尖了，開關水要小心。最後，隔音沒有很好，尤其渡假飯店常常是父母帶著孩子來玩，對噪音敏感的可能會覺得有一點點吵(但也只是一點點啦)。
