However, the rooms that are located below the pool area have views to public telephone cables. Also the hotel is located close to a club and it is difficult to sleep from Thursday to Saturday because of the loud noise (we had to change rooms in the middle of the night)

Dusche mit Holzboden. Muffelig, liegt wohl an Alter der Bauwerks und Strandnähe. Pool leider nicht beheizt. Preise sind schon sehr teuer, gerade für Brasilien.

Breakfast: Easily the best we’ve had in Brazil. Huge spread of fresh tropical fruit, made-to-order tapiocas and omelets, warm pão de queijo and pastries, great coffee, fresh juices… all served with a view. We lingered every morning. Service & staff: Warm, professional, and genuinely caring. The team remembers your preferences, checks in without hovering, and solves anything in minutes. You feel looked after, not just hosted. Decor: Stunning mix of breezy Búzios charm and understated luxury. Natural wood, local artwork, beautiful gardens, and a pool area you never want to leave. The whole hotel is very tastefully decorated and extremely relaxing. Watching the sunset from both room and pool area was a highlight. The hotel is centrally located and there are steps to go directly to Orla Bardot which continues to Rua das Pedras. The area felt very safe. The hotel also has a large gated parking which was really convenient. Staff is amazing, with special mention to Apareciba at breakfast!

From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—every member of staff, from reception to housekeeping, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we truly felt looked after throughout. The pool area is simply stunning and the perfect spot to unwind while watching the sunset each evening with a glass of wine—an experience we’ll never forget. We also enjoyed several treatments at the spa; between us, we had four massages, and each one was excellent. The spa facilities themselves are beautifully maintained and incredibly relaxing. A special mention must go to Maralo Brunia (apologies if I’ve misspelled the name), who made a real difference to our stay by ensuring everything was just right. That level of personal care did not go unnoticed. I would highly recommend Casa Brancas to anyone looking for a memorable and luxurious getaway. As a travel advisor myself, I will absolutely be recommending this hotel to my clients—especially for those unforgettable sunset views.

The rest of the staff members struggled to understand simple requests when ordering from the menu which made it confusing and frustrating especially when dinner is not cheap. Little things like coffee and tea in the room would go a long way for great service and the midnight until 4am night club music was annoying. Otherwise fabulous

Everyone one of the team were amazing and go way above and beyond to ensure your stay is amazing. I will not list names but front desk, dining room, pool bar, housekeeping and maintenance - all were amazing. Beautiful views over the bay and lovely pool area. Breakfast amazing as was dinner. Great location. Beds turned down every evening and goodies left on bed. All the team wear traditional Brazilian dress and simply glide around the hotel. Excellent location. If you want beach, take Uber to Rock A beach bar. 5 minutes. Lovely loungers and great food. Highly recommended from my wife and I and by far the best hotel in our stay in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil.

- Rui (10/5): - We had a very nice stay at Casas Brancas Boutique Hotel & Spa. Everything was good, fair, and well taken care of throughout our stay. What stood out the most was the staff , they were incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel like family from the beginning. Their warm and welcoming service really made the experience special. Overall, a lovely place to stay. The main downside is that the rooms and bathrooms feel quite small for the price. The bathroom also feels a bit old, especially the shower, which could definitely use some renovation. Another issue is that the windows do not fully close properly, so outside noise comes through. If the hotel were cheaper, these points would not be a major problem, but for the price, we expected a better standard.

The location is simply perfect – close enough to enjoy everything Búzios has to offer, yet just far enough away from the busy, lively areas to feel peaceful and relaxed. It truly feels like a little oasis above the town. The pool area is beautiful and incredibly relaxing, with stunning views and a calm atmosphere that made it hard to leave. It’s the perfect place to unwind and fully switch off. Our room was good and comfortable. We had booked one without a balcony, which we would probably choose differently next time – but that was entirely our decision. The breakfast was fantastic – fresh, varied, and prepared with so much care. A very special thank you to Aparecida and Gabriel. They made our mornings truly special with their warmth, kindness, and lovely conversations. Their hospitality added such a personal and heartfelt touch to our stay. - Mark_Da_Gi (10/5): A refuge in buzzy Buzios - An exceptionally run property with a perfect location in Buzios. Although I wasn't completely swept away by Buzios itself, Casas Brancas was an exclusive refuge perched atop the Orla Bardot with unbelievable views and comforts. The staff arranged all reservations ahead of time making my time there as relaxing as possible. They operated like a seasoned crew moving in the shadows to ensure every time I left the room, the bed was made up and towels exchanged. The restaurant breakfast was fantastic, as was dinner at 74. The rooms reminded my of Greece with the relaxing white stucco bringing a sense of calm to the property. The bed was comfortable, the finishes were thoughtful, and the turndown treats were always a welcomed way to end the night. It really is the perfect place to stay in Buzios if in budget, you can walk to 90% of the beaches within 15-20 minutes and are 5 minutes from town yet in the quiet up on the hillside. The pool was beautiful as was the sundeck, no issue with it being crowded. When I departed at an early hour, they had even packed a meal for me for the car. My only note would be that stairs are mandatory so it would not be suited for mobility-challenged guests.

The service was excellent, and the view over the ocean was absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was a highlight every morning, with a wide selection of fresh fruits, various juices, and a menu that truly offered something for everyone. We also made good use of the gym, visiting every other day. The concierge was extremely helpful and well-informed, arranging a variety of activities for our whole family. The hotel felt very safe, with security guards and staff available 24/7, which gave us great peace of mind throughout our stay.

I was also slightly let down by the two hotel restaurants, but they were still worth trying.

Every member of staff are friendly, helpful and respectful. Every room is beautifully decorated with original art work that the family (who have owned the house since 1974) have purchased over time. You really do feel you are part of a family as there are only 35 rooms. Breakfast is amazing and a really leisurely affair - while looking at the stunning view across the bay. The sun loungers are well maintained and a perfect place to relax. There are 2 restaurants- 74 and the Italian Osteria downstairs - both are of the highest standard and great value for money considering the quality of the food. The spa is an oasis of calm with good quality treatments which can easily be booked. Staff work throughout the day to ensure the standard of service is maintained. We loved everything about this hotel.
