Guest Reviews
- Jacob (10/5): This was an amazing experience and we would highly recommend this place! - Everything! Absolutely amazing. X
- Christoph (10/5): Best place to bee - Alles Es war einfach toll. Service mega freundlich.

- Joel (10/5): relax, nature experience. - my family and I enjoy all of it, the nature and friendly staff, the horses, the farm animals, the delicious meals, our rooms, the trails, we had the opportunity to invite our family whom lives in the same area to enjoy dinner with us, and they fall in love with the ranch, this will be for sure the spot for the next family reunion.
- Julia (10/5): - The staff were all super friendly and accomodating. It was very family oriented. We took a couple of grandkids for the experience, and they had a great time!
- Amy (10/5): - We loved our stay here! Excellent staff are running a tight ship. Spending time with horses was fantastic. They have a large number of horses with enough different skills and personalities to be a good fit for advanced riders and also bombproof trail horses for novice riders including kids. Facilities are in great condition and the variety of activities available was really enjoyable. Nighttime cowboy songs and demonstrations of barrel racing and roping were so neat to watch.
Loved the petting zoo, watercolor class, riflery, and pool/hot tub setup.
Staff were very conscientious about one of our family members needing a strict gluten-free diet (he successfully stayed healthy through several days of meals there). Would definitely recommend!
- Natalia (10/5): Home away from home - Beautiful place, you feel like you are a very special guest. Great expensive decorations, very clean, good shower, excellent food. They obviously take good care about everything. And, of course, beautiful horses
- Ineke (10/5): - Top 3 properties and overall experiences I’ve ever had. Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, amenities were unbeatable, the grounds were GORGEOUS, happy hour was such a nice welcoming touch. An absolutely incredible stay. Will be back with absolute certainty!
- George (10/5): - Ver
- Christian (10/5): - A wonderful experience! Awesome staff, super friendly, great activities, great food!
Definitely going back!
- Rebekka (10/5): - This was an absolutely phenomenal and new experience for me, and provided an incredible sense of escape. Before my stay, I’d never ridden a horse before but I had a feeling the ranch would be run with a warm, welcoming spirit that would give me confidence to try. I’m so happy to say it was all that and more! As a solo traveller I worried I’d feel out of my depth but within hours it felt like I was having fun with friends. That special kind of hospitality that comes with a kind ethos and family spirit. So many unforgettable activities on offer, like archery, shooting and axe throwing as well as craft sessions that make art a breeze. The wranglers were excellent at instructing me as a complete beginner - and special thanks to my boy Ocho the horse! The staff made me smile with their kindness throughout the day, and I loved getting to know the other guests. Delicious food, plentiful choice, a fantastic honour bar, unparalleled scenery and atmosphere, great pool and beautifully designed rooms. I can’t speak highly enough. I’m already planning my return!
- Sangita (9/5): Wonderful ranch experience - The ranch is in a perfect location and is run in a flexible and accommodating manner. There is a wide range of great activities. The social hour is a nice touch.
- Simon (10/5): - The Ranch is the best experience ever!! Horse riding, shooting, archery, axe throwing and then cooling off in the pool! Good food, clean and the friendliest staff ever!
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): - This is a working dude ranch. Family atmosphere. Considerate staff. Enjoyed my stay. Avoid if you have an aversion to flies, as is always the case with any horse property.
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): - The ranch was beautiful. Our room was great, the food was good. The property was gorgeous! The staff was friendly. Many horses to pet and ride. Entertainment was good. The whole place was awesome! Great for families and couples as well.
- Justin (10/5): - Awesome western experience! Thank you!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cowboy up! - Great place to enjoy a ranch style environment. Just remember to sign up for activities spots go fast!
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Wonderful stay! - Love this place. All the staff couldn’t have been more friendly. You can tell the owners and staff take great pride in the ranch and hotel. It’s gorgeous!
- Carmen (10/5): PHENOMENAL!!!! BEST VACATION I HAVE EVER TAKEN! - Phenomenal experience! Comfortable, clean, beautiful property, wonderful staff, very skilled wranglers, fun for the whole family! Wish there were towels at the pool.
- Katie (10/5): - Very friendly staff. The food was very tasty . The activities were really fun.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (10/5): Dream Ranch Experience - White Stallion Ranch is an amazing place with gorgeous views. We had a short stay, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Wonderful staff, food and the most stunning sunsets. Would highly recommend a visit to White Stallion Ranch.
- Joy (10/5): - It was beautiful and the employees were great
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice three-day stay. Staff very friendly, room was perfect and the scenery is terrific. Breakfast options were fine.
- Emma (9/5): Superb -
- mark (10/5): - Fantastic property with a great staff!
- willis (10/5): - It was isolated -- it was quiet ( could hear the coyotes crying at night.) We didnt do any of the activities -- we wanted to chill -- and we did. Sat at the serve yourself bar -played guitar- walked the grounds -- it was what I was hoping for --
- Chad (10/5): - This place is an absolute gem. I found it by chance while driving through Tucson and I decided to stay 2 nights instead of 1. So much to do: horse riding, shooting, hiking, crafts, games, petting zoo, great food and amazing, friendly staff. A
- Karen (10/5): - The horses and the wranglers were far better than other trail riding experiences.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - This is a very unique property. It is a family-owned ranch in a beautiful setting that offers numerous amenities such as horseback riding, hayrides, delicious food, beautiful western-theme rooms, a pool & hot tub, spa services, and a lot more. I highly recommend this property.
- peter (10/5): - Always so peacefull and friendly
- Shannon (10/5): - This was THE best experience
- Deborah Ann (10/5): - it was different and unique trip to stay on the ranch. love the horses and its like being on the farm.
- Rocio (10/5): - Like honor system bar and dinner.
- Lisa (10/5): - The room we stayed in was right up against a horse corral, so there were a constant stream of horses right up against the fence for my son to feed treats to. :) The front office has a bucket of treats that you can use for feeding them. The petting zoo and recreation room were also nice features that you wouldn't get with a resort.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It blew my expectations out of the water!! We should have stayed longer. Hard to describe the peace you feel. Loved the architecture, lovely gardens, artistic touches, super-accommodating and hospitable host family, gorgeous desert mountain backdrop, and so many fun activities we were sad not to have more time to try them all. Lots of people riding. We did archery. And the pictures don’t do the pool or grounds justice. Night swimming under the stars is heavenly. The food was outstanding. The bar was fun with saddles to sit on. Kids welcome and provided for all over the ranch from feeding horses and petting zoo to games and movies. Never made it to the spa and fitness center because we were outdoors. Artist sold southwestern watercolors. You actually get a property tour on arrival, there is so much. And free refreshments all day. Very genuinely warm staff that seem to love the place as much as guests. I thought the price was beyond excellent for all you get. We will come back!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was an excellent experience.
What i did not like was that expedia failed to inform me that there was no riding on Sunday and since only stayed there on Saturday and sunday this cut off 1/2 of our opportunities to ride.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The White Stallion Ranch deserves all the five-star reviews that it has received. Rooms are stylish, modern, and comfortable. Meals are well-prepared and efficiently served. The nightly live entertainment is varied and thoroughly enjoyable. Staff are friendly and professional. Even if you skip the trail rides and shooting lessons offered, and do nothing more than feed treats to the horses and enjoy the silence of the desert, the Ranch is less than 20 miles and 100 years away from Tucson's hassles.
- Michelle (10/5): Absolutely wonderful! - Absolutely excellent place to stay! Everything was perfect! The meals were delicious, the room was spacious and so clean, horseback riding was a blast, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. There was so much to do! Wonderful place to stay!
- Melanie (10/5): Melbytorz - We had a wonderful time. Would love to go back and enjoy all they had to offer
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A wonderful adventure awaits!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It's a ranch. If a ranch is what you are looking for you will love this place. We will be back for sure only next time we're bringing the whole family. Very unique and awesome stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Beautiful views, quiet.
To many flies in the room
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Lots to do activity wise at WSR! Breakfast is decent also. Blankets in room were super dusty but the biggest gripe is the Staff is rude. While checking out they asked if I paid and I said yes I paid online. They said "sure you did" in a serious tone. I said "I did". They again replied with "sure you did" implying I didn't pay. I offered to show them a receipt. Both women up front looked at me like I was a liar. Even if I didn't pay don't you collect a card up front when booking anyways for incidentals? I don't want to pull the race card but that could be a reason.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - .
- Gail (10/5): Great Overrnight Stay - My husband and I just needed a place to stay overnight, so took the B&B option. Everyone was so friendly, the property is clean, well planned out, our King Suite room was huge, comfortable, clean and well decorated. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the mountain views eating outside. We didn't have time for any activities, but we will be back to go horseback riding!
- Liz (10/5): - This was an excellent place for a family to stay! I wish I had realized all of the fun things available to do when I booked, I would have stayed longer! Make sure you prepare in advance if you want to eat dinner with them the night you arrive, otherwise it’s not a restaurant and you’ll need to leave and go to town.
- Marc (10/5): GREAT hotel - I almost don't want to say what a great place this is so that I can keep the secret ...but this place is incredible.
- Sheard (10/5): - This is truly a hidden gem. I absolutely loved our stay here. I look forward to planning our next trip to the ranch. I described this place to family as having Hilton accommodations with a "Welcome family, make yourself comfortable - Mi Casa Es Su Casa."
Our kids loved all the activities the ranch had to offer along with the entertainment and the fun facts that we learned about the history of the family, the ranch, and the area.
Overall a 15 our of 10 for us!!
- monica (10/5): - I like the fact that there was no TV or phones in the room. There were lots of things to do there. It was so peaceful and relaxing in the mornings and evenings. The staff was great. Food was very good.
The only bad thing was it had a dirt road to get to it , but it is a working dude ranch. Over all it was AWSOME!! I would do it again.
- Stephanie (10/5): - A wonderful. I loved the whole atmosphere and environment there. The staff was fantastic. The horses were all beautiful and obviously well cared for. One of the best vacations ever. I would highly recommend.
- Irina (10/5): - We had a wonderful time
- Randy (10/5): Excellent ranch get-a-way - Excellent weekend get-a-way on a secluded ranch! I would highly recommend staying here for the full experience: ranch-style, private casitas, open property with horse stables, beautiful pool area, western activities such as archery, etc.
My girlfriend and I will definitely be back for another “unplug” from everyday life soon.
- Holly (8/5): - Hope to return for an all inclusive stay.
Wish for the return of early pastries, etc. before a 7:30 breakfast. Early risers are out of luck.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Outstanding accommodations and great activities. Staff were very friendly too
- Nick (10/5): - Clean friendly staff. Great location and amenities. Definitely worth it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This place was absolutely fantastic and the best to escape from the world! The staff members were extremely friendly and the place was extra clean!
- Stephen (10/5): Texas trip - My daughter and I were on the home leg of a Texas business trip. When booking this location, I hadn’t realized it was also a Dude Ranch. What a pleasant surprise! The property is spotless and beautifully landscaped, there are horses, cows, and other animals to enjoy. I shot billiards near the bar and enjoyed a great swim in the pool. A great value and a total 10.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - White Stallion Ranch is an experience of a lifetime. The grounds are impeccable and the staff & horses wonderful. Christopher was a gem! The only major drawback for me was the food. It was just OK. It’s preparation was not as advertised but cooked in the kitchen and then subsequently brought “out.” Unfortunately, there was no live cooking outside. Other than that, go and get you cowboy on! You won’t be disappointed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is such an awesome place. The casitas are literally next to the corrals so the horses come right up - be sure to grab some treats in the office before heading out ! Easy going, wonderful staff. Gorgeous - absolutely gorgeous scenery
- Kenneth (10/5): Awesome place to stay! - White Stallion Ranch was a great place to stay. The room was well appointed, very clean, and very quiet. The grounds are very inviting, and the staff were extremely friendly and polite. The food was also delicious. My stay was last minute, and I had commitments during the day elsewhere, so I wasn’t able to schedule any of the activities (otherwise I would have ridden horses). I will definitely stay there again. It was a very relaxing place to go, and met some very nice people.
