• Marilisa (6/5): Good location for a very outdated hotel - The location was really good and the size of our rooms The hotel is very old and really needs to be renovated. The room was very dusty. I believe they only did the bed, eventhough the cleaners were really nice. The air conditioning was really loud and every morning at 4 there was a metallic noise in the hallway. At 5 the rooster started to sing but that’s not their fault. But I slept really bad the 3 nights I was there. The toilet is so old. The bathtub dripped water from the side. And there is no shower so you have to climb in the bathtub. I gave it a 5 only because it has potential and for the position.

The hotel is well located abbd finding transport from the hotel is easy. Great place. I have been returning here annually for many years. Leaving.

• Jeannette (10/5): Zufriedener Aufenthalt 🤩🤩🤩 - Zimmer waren sehr gross, gute Matrazen zum schlafen. Sicht auf den River Was fehlt ist die Möglichkeit , Kleider (Nasse Badehose )aufzuhängen. Es sollte sicher auf dem Balkon einen Haken haben und im Eingangsbereich.

• Donna (5/5): Good location. Needs some upgrades - The location was very good The room was large with a table and 2 chairs and a large closet but there were no drawers or shelves for clothes. I had to ask for hangers and a hair dryer. The safe was behind the desk, which often had no one there to get the room key. There was a key drop box accessible to anyone and we often had to retrieve our own key.

• Alison (1/5): I recommend against this hotel. - Location is good The staff are unprofessional, there is no in room safe, the beds are extremely uncomfortable. Very strict check in time of 2pm and staff will not acknowledge you until after 2pm. Your luggage stays in the lobby until you are able to check in. I sent three messages to the hotel via the booking.com app over a period of two months and did not receive a response. I recommend against this hotel.

• Raymond (8/5): Prima hotel om te verblijven. - De locatie is geweldig, ten oosten van het historische centrum naast de nightmarkt(souvenirs/kleding) het uitgaanscentrum en de avondmarkt (eten/drinken) Het ontbijt vond ik top. Het zwembad was ruim en heerlijk om te zwemmen. De kamer was ruim ik had een mooi uitzicht op het oosten. Het personeel was vriendelijke wel sprak men nauwelijks engels. Dit maakte communicatie soms lastig. Het hotel is wat verouderd en zou een opknapbeurt goed kunnen gebruiken. De WiFi verbinding was ok, echter; meerdere malen per dag moest ik opnieuw inloggen.... heel vervelend!!

Slightly dated but everything I needed for my chiang mai, the cleaner and staff where very helpful and a credit to the hotel Buffet was very basic. - not that I didn’t like it. But could have been better choice.

Le petit déjeuner était également très bon. La piscine est propre. Très bien situé. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour.

The hotel in the evening is terribly understaffed. If there was any emergency it would not be handled at all. Understaffed with only one person for the entire hotel at night

• charley (10/5): - Perfekt beliggenhed, lige på natmarkedet. Fantastisk hotel til prisen, Marriad hotel, som ligger lige overfor koster 6 gange som Royal Lanna. Vanvittig. Personalet er meget venlig. Anbefales varmt, hvis du vil ha noget for pengene. Thai familie ejet gennem 40-50 år, og var byens største og fornemste tilbage i tiden. Store værelser og flot rengøring. Har boet her gennem 30 år.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Et eldre Thai stil hotell. - Topp renhold og fint basseng. Hotellet ligger sentralt. Rommene er i Thai stil, det vi hadde var stort, svært romslig. Trenger en liten oppgradering. Savnet kun en vannkoker til kaffe. Fant 1 kanal på TV. Rett ved siden av Hard Rock Cafe.

Insufficient staff, no night security, anyone could just walk in at anytime without question. Was told to use my room towel to use for pool also, dont have a spare towel. Wouldn’t supply me a cup of milk for tea & coffee in my room. Place is falling apart. Pool was cloudy dirty. Room vanity basin clogged up, water wouldn’t go down waste. Worst experience in 10 yrs of staying here. Would never stay here again or use booking.com for accommodation again.

• Andy (2/5): OMG.....DO NOT STAY HERE..........stay anywhere but not here!!!!!!!!! - NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where to start!! I arrived, the receptionist saw me and went to the back office. I waited 45 seconds before she came back. Not long but just enough to irritate. The inroom safe instructions are incorrect, so you can't open it! The swimming pool was GREEN and closed for the whole time I was there, nothing was said at checkin and since it is why I picked the hotel, I am not happy! The included buffet breakfast is the worst I have ever seen. They do make an omelette to order, then just dump it on child's Melamine plate! To top everything off, the key drop box is open to anyone who wants to come and select a key!!! Since reception is seldom staffed, you just grab whatever key you like. In its heyday this was probably a good hotel. AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE, IT'S NOT WORTH IT, PICK ANYWHERE ELSE. I truly regret staying here.
