• Rin (8/5): - The hotel‘s location was amazing, it was in walking distance to almost everything but also tucked away down a street away from havoc. The hotel Is also very clean. However we did have conflict during checkin regarding adding an extra bed (we sent a message regarding this matter a few weeks before checking in which the said hotel they didn’t receive) which led to myself and my sister (2 adults) to share a single bed for the first night of our stay as there was “no one” available to organise an extra bed. Another issue is that the company only gives out 1 key card per a room, which caused the three of us some more conflict when returning home at different times.

We also had issues with our toilet the first night and when we called the front desk, they said we will have to wait till tomorrow for asssitance. Tomorrow comes around and 10 am, we still have not receive a phone call nor update. Mind you, we were unable to use the restroom since 10 pm the night before. We than called the front desk again around 10 am and they said they will send someone, an hour gone by and nothing. They happened to fix our issue an hour and half later. Also, we needed to catch an early flight so we ask for assistance to reserve a taxi, but they said the earliest was 7 am which did not help.

• Merilee (10/5): Good hotel in a fun location! - It was a very clean and well run hotel! Very close to the Night Bazaar on both sides and a close walk to the beach. I would stay there again! We certified in the PADI Open Water Course for All4Diving and that was close to the hotel as well!
• Verified traveler (10/5): Stay here! - It was great, I love phuket. The only suggestion I would make is new balcony chairs. The sun damage gets white chalk on your pants when sitting.
• John (10/5): Nice Hotel - This hotel is in a great central position but if you are a beach lover it is about a eight to ten minute walk to patong beach. Close to Jungceylon shopping centre and very close to the Banzaan market where it is a seafood lovers paradise at night time. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are quite large and very quiet at night time. There is a rooftop bar and swimming pool and a restaurant on the grand floor. The staff are just wonderful. I will definitley stay here again.

• Nur Rena (8/5): Make sure you have the right Hemingways Hotel - First of all there are 3 Hemingways hotel in Patong. Our cab dropped us at the wrong hotel. We had to walk to our hotel which was nearby. So take note of this. Buffet breakfast was good for us as they served local dishes too. It is nearby alot of eateries and convenient store. There is Bazaan Food Village where you can purchase live seafood and then proceed upstairs to have it cooked. Make sure you bargain when you buy your seafood. It is nearby Robison Mall with lots of eateries as well Visit the ice cream and pancake store opposite Lucky 13 cafe. Speciality: ice cream made from scratch with a choice of fresh fruit like mangoes for 80 baht. Setback you need to walk about 10mins plus to the beach. Overall good location and nice hotel.
• LJLett (8/5): Great stay close to everything - We had a very enjoyable stay for 14 days. We were made feel welcome straight away. Staff always with a welcoming smile - restaurant (good tasting Thai food), reception (acknowledged us all the time), thank you to housekeeping always smiling and nothing is an effort, roof top pool and bar (perfect at the end of the day) cocktails were perfect and good prices. I will have no reluctance in recommending Hemingsway Silk to any traveller. Thank you all for a very enjoyable relaxing holiday.

• Siew Choo (8/5): Conventient,Clean and Comfortable hotel - First nite (check in at 8pm) step in the rm was different frm last few times i book. Frm orange change to dark brown lok more comfortable n cosy. Balcony flr n chair was vy dusty, rm smell nice n everything lok great feel like at 5star hotel. But 2nd day cal rm service waited for half hr while cal bk they said forgotten.ask for makeup rm n went to toilet, 5mins my door bell ring n i was inside the toilet. After tat i open the door, saw towels, refreshment item toilet paper all was left it on the doorstep. 3rd day ask for clean rm the bed cover was not neatly placed balcony still dirty. Hope the staff can put more effort on their job.but i still will chose to stay here cos i like the rm only one spot light n 2 table light. Lok more cosy n confortable. Only hope they can clean up balcony area. Is all minor problem n i will still chose to stay here P/s: if hotel can supply adaptor will b perfect, we dun mind put deposit for it. And when i check out on 14/4 1pm there was a female receptionist she was vy helpful n hv a vy sweet smiley face, i ask her help to keep my passport n 5pm i bk frm the mall wanted to take cab to airport she oass me bk my passport. I totally forgotten abt it. So nice of her n sorry tat i forgotten ask her abt her name. Hope management can keep tis gd staff. Tks

• Jackson Ng (8/5): Nice location, walking distance to bangla road - Hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable. My room was near the swimming pool so can head there in the morning to suntan and swim. Staff was okay but not as helpful in giving advice to places of interest in phuket. They were helpful in helping in hotel requests like loaning extra towel for my outdoor swimming needs. Hotel location is walking distance to bangla road, which houses a lot of agogo bars and pubs. It is also walking distance to patong beach.
• Bryan (10/5): Room is spacious - The location is great, within short walking distance to the market and shopping center. The beach is 10 mins away. The room is very spacious and it includes a balcony. You have everything you need in the room including safe, complimentary water, fridge, free wifi. The bed is extra big, larger than a king size bed! The TV and bathroom is a bit small though. Except for some small issues during my stay such as a blackout in one of the lift on 1 day, the experience is great!
• Iffah Yasmin (10/5): - Its our second visit there. When we came, the recep was not very friendly. But other receps for the day was amazing. The rooms were well-kept and maintained. Our overall stay was very satisfactory.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Worst experience in Phuket - I would not recommend booking this hotel. I had such bad experience. This is the first time I have ever written a bad review I'm not a picky person but the staff tried to charge us for some "stains" on the floor that were everywhere (other rooms and hallway) and when I took pictures for proof they tried to charge us for some pillow cover and towels that were filthy! That was an insult to us, first because we are not dirty pigs and second because we never dirtied anything in the hotel. The AC also smelled bad. The only thing I liked about this hotel was the pool. If you book this hotel make sure to take pictures of your room including the floor because they will try to charge you for anything. Never staying here again!

Shower was broken and although I informed the front desk, they didn't bother to repair it. Bathtub lacked a stopper and was too small for a grown man.
• Marty (8/5): Nice hotel on quiet street - I enjoyed my stay at Hemingway Silk Hotel. Linda at the front desk is a gem. She has a great personality and truly makes you feel welcome upon arrival. The first couple of night I did not like the bed as it was extremely hard. I asked about changing rooms to one with a softer bed. Linda sent up house keeping with some memory foam padding that was placed on top of the mattress. That did the trick. The rest of my stay in slept like a baby. The breakfast buffet has a limited selection but is adequate. Overall I would recommend this hotel and will stay here on my next trip to Phuket/Patong Beach

Amazing washroom, best we had while backpacking Thailand. This place was CHEAP for how nice it was. Expensive food in the hotel but you can find cheap food a short walk away! Will stay here if we ever come back to Phuket

Since there are many budget hotel in Patong area I think the hotel is average among the hotels. Staffs are always smile but they won't clean your room if you don't put clean sign on your door. There are no balcony in standard room and only one chair. It's not comfortable to people who want to relax in the hotel.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Open 24/7 but Smelly - We were very fortunate that the front desk is open 24/7 so we could check in at 2 am. However the bed was very hard and a sewage smell coming from the bathroom stunk up the whole room.
• Megan (8/5): - Staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. They will hold your bags for you after you check out which was great. But when I went to pick up my bags later in the day they let me just walk in the room myself and take them and didn't even check to make sure I was taking mine or someone else's which I didn't really like. They also had me leave a 1,000 baht deposit at check in which I had no problem with, but at checkout they didn't give it back to me until I asked for it. Maybe it was a mistake but I don't feel that should be something I have to ask for. It should be done automatically during the checkout process. Breakfast buffet is decent but nothing that exciting. Nice pool with bar on roof. And great location to walk to the beach or the night market with tons of shops, restaurants, and bars around. Easy to get to from the airport too. I took one of the mini buses since they are way cheaper than a taxi and it didn't take too long at all.

Staff seemed friendly enough, but an error with our booking and a mistake by the desk staff caused us to pay twice for our room. It took till our last day, on checkout, for our money to be refunded. Breakfast was terrible. Very little choice and the quality and taste of the food let a lot to be desired.

When march I went there was so happy of the pleasant stay n nice food. But tis time order rm service the food was not nice, think they must hv change the chef.if without tat group of foreigner n the food overall is nice hotel n worth for the price. I see a lot of reviews that expect a luxury hotel for a low price. The beds were hard, but we found that everywhere in Thailand. It's not close to town, so you have to get a taxi. The thing that really impressed me was how incredibly nice the staff were.

The price charge is cheap and affordable with room conditions. Electrical problem with our room but changed to another room immediately. I'm sure will come back here.
• Jean (10/5): Excellent Hotel n Great Location! - Tis was my first visit to tis hotel n first time stay away frm the beach. But here is really vy convenient cos beside hv massage centre, big c extra, 7-11, few mins walk to Jungceylon Mall n b Bangla rd. The hotel rm was new, modern n clean, shower water pressure is gd n restaurant food is tasty food. The only thing is balcony dun hv a small table n was many dust at the railing. Staff is helpful, friendly n nice. When I check in the rm n saw a king size bed n a extra bed beside, I went dwn n ask the receptionist y I hv a extra bed? She said I requested was a single bed rm but cos I wan a rm near pool n far away frm elevator so 8th flr only hv double bed rm so they only can gv me an extra bed n free of charge. It was so thoughtful! But on the 4th day I ask next day can hv a late check out cos my flight is 8pm n I ask for check out at 5pm they said charge 1000baht! I was shocked I book the rm was 800+ baht n stay another 5 hrs is 1000 baht! Then I ask if 2pm also need to pay? She said yes!! On the 19th i check out went out walk till 5pm go bk collect my luggage n ask for a taxi but the receptionist said hv to wait but she nvr try to cal a cab for me. Tis receptionist was different person frm the past 4 days I saw tat gal was vy helpful n polite. At the end we carry our luggage n walk to outside massage centre wait for cab. Overall is a pleasant stay.
• Phukettraveller (6/5): Water was yellow, black out for close to 7 hours - WHen we on the basin, water was yellowish in color, it was terrible. The hotel have blackout for nearly 7 hours without informing the guest. Hence, no tv to watch, no air con, no wifi, worst of all, lift was not able to use. We have to climb up the stairs. If you stay at higher floor, good luck to you. The hotel does not provide adapter, you have to purchase on your own. Breakfast was super simple, with just 6 dishes, including ham, sausage, rice, vege, some cererals and egg. No hash brown or salad to choose from.
• J (10/5): Nice new build - Nice clean hotel in an ideal location. No hidden costs or fees like other hotels in patong. Very friendly staff and immaculate rooms and facilities

• Azim (8/5): Good Location - Good hotel. Busy location and yet very quiet. Loved the breakfast. Nice room, nice swimming pool, nice staff, very convenient location. Cons bathroom small, bathroom water colour was a little mudy. The room was Not lit too well and tv signal week and not enough channels. I would stay again.

I like the fact that the hotel is centrally located..This place is great to use as a base to explore the Patong beach area..The front desk staff was very helpful and housekeeping is outstanding.... After a long day of touring .. I always came back to a clean and comfortable room... Junceylon mall is conveniently just a five minute walk away...There you can find good selection of ATMs, restaurants and souvenir shops..
• Prakhar (10/5): Budget traveller's paradise - Great location for people on budget, rooms are great and the location is quite good too hardly a 5 mins walk to the beach and the nightlife areas. Western style Breakfast provided was good as well. Rooftop pool is also nice as you can see a good view of the place from it.
• PK (10/5): Really love this place - I stayed with friend here for only 1 night, the staff at front counter is helpful with service mind. The place near Jungelon and easy to walk to beach and Bangla Road. The swimming pool is medium size but it is okay for me. Great place to stay, clean and beautiful in the room.
• alvyn (8/5): Great location and new - Was just checked out this hotel yesterday...Booked a deluxe room with twin beds Everything is good especially the hospitality. I like the staffs here, they are helpful and efficient Two staffs(sorry I dont know your name; one female and one male who on duty on my check in date 5 March night). The female staff is very helpful and the male staff is just even great. I asked a lot of stuffs from him and even asked him to recommend us some restaurants, and it is really worth to try. They tried their best to help me to solve my problem. I felt warm and friendly all time. The location is great, there are 7 eleven, family mart just less than 3 mins walking. Bangla Road and Ban Saan Night market are closed to it as well as Jungceylon Shopping Mall. We stayed here for 3 nights, which cost us less than 100USD. Things to improve: no toothbrush in the room, and should provide water dispenser. By the way, the fridge is not with freezer (my ice cream melted!!)

• Verified traveler (8/5): The place to stay in Patong - The place is located in the heart of Patong. Patong beach is only about 500 meters around 5-10 mins walk. Hotel is relatively new and very clean.
• Lyle (6/5): bitter sweet - We stayed for one week On level 2. Rooms are clean and tidy and it's in a good location. unfortunate issues: No hot water for the past 3 days So cold showers - buffet breakfast was good however a suggestion for the hotel to use fresh juice and not reconstituted it was not mixed right and undrinkable for me - reception advised hot water would be checked, no acknowledgment or apology on checkout. Beds are quite hard but not a big deal for those with bad backs. Annoying part we were paying around $111 per night and a friend stayed in the same hotel level 3 for $50 per night??? I tried to change because ofthe price difference but reception said no. still a nice hotel and location shame about the hot water and I would only book a couple nights at a time top try save money.
• Jan (6/5): Near to shopping mall but a lot of mosquitos! - The room is clean, very near to the shopping mall less than 5 mins walk. The service staffs are friendly. The only problem is there is a lot of mosquitos in the room.

• Samir (10/5): Hemmingways Silk Hotel, 23yo Single Male - Great place, close walk to bangla road, clean room, good rates, breakfast isnt nothing to boast about, but if your looking just to get a decent meal in first thing in the monring, its more than enough, all amenities are close by, would recommend.
• Anshul (10/5): Perfect Location and good on pocket - Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Took a mini van (180 THB) from airport and they dropped us right in front of the hotel. Very welcoming staff, super clean rooms, clean terrace and pool area. Best part of the stay was the location. It is 2-3 mins walk to the Bangla Street, which is the main party place for entire Phuket. Close proximity to restaurants (if you are into Indian food try Madras Cafe) makes it even better. Beach is right across on the other side of Bangla and that walk was always entertaining. But it is strategically located where it is just far enough from all the party noise. We could rent bikes from right opposite cafe/hotel (300THB a day). The breakfast was good but limited menu for vegetarians. Otherwise a complete bang for the buck. We were on floor 8th so no neighbor/outdoor noise at all. I would stay here again.
• Keith (10/5): Very nice hotel, leisurely 20 minute walk to beach - Stayed for 4 days. This place seems to be fairly new. This is a very clean and friendly place with a nice rooftop pool & bar & a ground level restaurant with a very good breakfast buffet. The staff is helpful. The room was clean and large enough for 2 comfortably. It is close to many local tourist attractions (boxing arena, fish market, shopping malls and standard tourist bars, restaurants and souvenir shops). It is a leisurely 20 minute walk almost straight from the hotel to the beach through many of the attractions. Not to be confused with the Hemingways Hotel which is a 10 minute walk away.
