- Veronica (10/5): Fabulous Hotel - I loved staying here, very central boutique Hotel with very helpful staff. The breakfast is very healthy and freshly made, the best Hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. There is a kettle and condiments in the room with a very comfortable bed. I highly recommend this Hotel for a stress free stay.

Our room 104 had a bath in the bedroom as well as an en-suite. The crowning glory was access to a terrace - where we had a picnic!

Breakfast was also a delight - very tasty homemade food, clearly all made from scratch. This is a family run hotel and they are extremely friendly, welcoming, very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely consider staying here again, thank you!
- Janice (10/5): Wonderful stay - I had a wonderful three night stay in this splendid hotel which is a 5-10 minute walk from the train station and close to the centre of the town. The room was very comfortable with everything I needed and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I woild pass on the breakfast though.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable stay - We chose a superior room which had a useful little courtyard. Neither the bath nor the basin had plugs when we arrived but a plug was provided for the bath when I asked on the second day of our stay. I'm not sure whether late arrival is possible since the reception is unmanned after 7pm. Breakfast must be ordered the night before. The bed had a tendency to move away from the headboard when sitting up in bed. There was a kettle which was very welcome, although tea bags were only replenished on one day of a 4 night stay.

- Tamra (10/5): Nice, small hotel. Good location. - Nice little hotel close to the train station but also just 10 mins walk from the historical centre of Perpignan. Small rooms but clean and comfortable. We were upgraded to a balcony room with views along Rue Charles de Gaulle. Check in up until 8pm only and everything was closed up when we returned to the hotel about 10pm. I would book again if we return to Perpignan.
- Louise (10/5): - Friendly staff and good service, rooms are on the small size but well kept and clean with service every day if required, the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we have slept in. It's a 10mins walk into the center of Perpignan with cafés and restaurants on the way and a 5mins walk to the train station. We would stay at the hotel again.
- deborah (4/5): - The front desk woman was very friendly. Close to both the bus station and the center so great location. On the negative, there are no black out curtains, the rooms are not insulated like other hotels, so you can hear everything when someone enters the room next to you.

Room was very nice with balcony and had tea and coffee making facilities and small but clean shower room and toilet. Overall would highly recommend.

The staff were really friendly and happily spoke English, especially the lady at reception who made lots of suggestions where to eat and what to see. The bed was comfy, and the shower was good and didn’t flood the bathroom like too many hotel showers do. The room had a kettle and teabags which I appreciated. Everything at this hotel was well thought-out and made sense - layout, lift, security code to get back inside on an evening etc. The location was perfect for the old town and the train station. The airport bus stops right outside too.

- DMITRY (6/5): - We stayed in room 102. This floor's hallway smelled like something was rotting there. The aircon was turned off from 10 am to 5 pm, although we paid for all amenities for all day in the room. We were not informed about it in advance. The reception staff is great, but we will not return or recommend it to anybody.
- Luis (10/5): - The hotel is conveniently located in a centric area, near the Perpignan's train station. It has plenty of restaurants at walking distance. Parking is not included but it's fairly easy to park on the surrounding streets. Staff was very amicable.

The Nos 6 bus (1.3 euros per person) from the airport stopped opposite the hotel and it was less than 5 minutes walk to either the train station or Catalogne Square where a lot of the buses went from. The major tourist sites, mini supermarkets and general shops are within a 15 min walk. The hotel room was quite small, but we didn't mind as we didn't spend that much time in there and overall, felt that the stay was good value. Would happily stay there again!

The location was excellent with a short 10 minute walk from the train and bus stations. The street and exterior of the hotel looked a little run donw but inside a little gem of a boutique style hotel.

- Eric (6/5): Convenient, but not best location, ltd service - I chose this for convenience to the train station for day trips and ability to walk to the hotel on arrival. I knew from the photo that the decor was not my thing, but did not care about that. It is not the best part of town and a 20 minute walk to the historic century. I did care that WiFi did not work in my room the first night and reception staff leave at 8 PM. Breakfast was above average in quality with local home-baked specialties and high quality cheese and meats.

- J.A. (6/5): Good, with reservations - Thoroughly helpful and pleasant staff, but the room was much smaller and more crowded than we expected. The wifi really didn't work in our room, so we had to use it in the lobby. We reported a faulty bedside lamp, but it was not replaced or repaired.
- Ian (10/5): Perfect stay in Perpignan - Stayed here for a long weekend recently and found it to be really good. The staff are great & the rooms good. We were running late & the reception got in touch with us to make sure we'd be able to get in after reception closed (8pm). In the end, this wasn't needed but it was a really nice touch. The only problem we had was that we couldn't find the car park - although we did find a big multi-storey close by. Location-wise it's very good. A short walk from the railway station and only 10-15 min from the historic centre & Palace of the Kings. Breakfast was good, with plenty of meats, salamis and home-made savouries, cakes & pastries. We had a ground floor (accessible) room which was compact, but perfectly ok for our needs. Our companions had a first-floor room with balcony, sun-loungers & rattan sofas. All-in-all a very good place to stay.

We arrived after 8pm so was emailed the door code and our room keys were left at the reception in the dark. Parking is in the street around the hotel it was free until 9am. Not far from town centre but nothing around the hotel

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel with secure parking. - Close to the action but far enough away to be peaceful. Room is nice but VERY small when used as a family room.
- Pat (8/5): Budget hotel conveniently positioned - The NYX is a budget hotel within walking distance of Perpignan station and the historic centre. Our double room was very small which was ok for a couple of nights but might have found it rather claustrophobic for a longer stay. The room was modern and bright and everything was clean and it had air conditioning. The staff were very pleasant and helpful but there are no staff on the premises after 8pm until the next morning. The room had everything you need - a bathroom, a kettle with tea and coffee, a comfy bed and hairdryer.
- Lynn (8/5): Pleasant small hotel.. - Pleasant stay in small boutique hotel. Small room with balcony. Wi Fi was not working at first but was fixed when advised. Breakfast was adequate for price paid.. Simple but fresh. Good location for train & bus station.

- Chloe (10/5): - Easy to get to from the airport and station, and close to the centre. Great hotel to explore the region from (trains to Girrona, Barcelona and into the Pyrenees). Staff were really helpful (we tried our best to speak French, but their English was exceptional!).

- Verified traveler (4/5): - My room was extremly small room with old carpet, but clean. The hotel appears to cater to train travelers. It is close to the station and sufficient for an overnight stay. If in Parpignam again, I will stay in the historic district and upgrade my hotel choice.

If ever I am in Perpignan again, I will definitely return to NYX Hotel. Easy walk to the city centre. Short stroll to train station. But more than anything, the people at the hotel made my stay memorable.
