- Darren (10/5): Old River Home - I stayed here 4 years ago when it was called the River Home. There was dodgy plumbing back then and the drainage stunk. I seen they had been renovating earlier this year, so decided to give it another shot. The rooftop bar and pool area is still really good and spacious. The staff are excellent young Khmer, very courteous and professional. However, Hotels.com state this as a new build, which it is not. Its had a make-over, a decent one at that but some of the bathroom fixtures etc are the same as before, old elevators, same pool, bar etc. Breakfast not too good, but worth the money
