• Edie (8/5): Good, clean place to stay with great rates if you don't want anything fancy - Good location; right across the highway from the airport and easy access to IH-10. It's an old motel that needs a little updating, but the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Most of the rooms were occupied with construction workers who use their per diem to save money on accommodations, but it was still pretty quiet. We couldn't get the TV to work at all. Upon leaving, we told the front desk and they pulled up our room number and told us we needed to call the front desk to activate the TV. What?? The old A/C unit was on its last leg and it took a good while to get the room cooled off.

• Edie (9/5): Great place to stay at an excellent price! - Great location - Airport is literally across the highway. There is a Whataburger on the back of the motel, as well as a McDonald's within walking distance. They have a nice, big, clean pool, requiring a key to access it. There is a lot of construction on site here and parking is crowded. Most of the people staying here are construction workers and it's noisy.

• Lucy (7/5): You get what you paid for - Upstairs is renovated Down stairs is not renovated they smell bad . Noticed pets allowed so that might be the reason why carpets smell.
• Lucy (7/5): You get what you paid for . - The renovation is great!! The only rooms renovated are all Up stairs . I had surgery needed a handicapped. But down stairs are not renovated so I had to go upstairs in a Non handicapped room. The rooms down stairs have a Bad odor in the walls/carpet also Pets are allowed so I’m pretty sure carpets do not get carpet cleaned . As the smell of urine and bm is noticeable , comforters have holes of cigarette burns. Liens / towels have stains. This place has potential but I wouldn’t stay downstairs.

Pretty sure I saw a hooker outside earlier looking for a client. 1/10 dont even want to bring my wife and kids here. Ill pay the extra 100 next time to stay at the gated place down the street.

• Vickie (6/5): - I didn’t realize there was no elevator on the property, and I had to drag my luggage up and down a flight of stairs, which were very high stairs. They seem to be further apart than normal.

• Edie (10/5): Had to take a smoking room since they overbooked - We stay here once a month when I go to Beaumont to get my medicine (I have cancer). I made the reservation ten days in advance and it was verified. When we went to sign in, the front desk clerk told us they had overbooked and we didn't have a room. We were not happy in lieu of the fact that we had to pay for the room at the time of the reservation. We found out that they had one room left but it was a smoking room. We had nowhere else to stay and it was Labor Day week, so we took the smoking room. We waited for housekeeping to clean the room. I hope this doesn't happen again on our next month's visit. We were advised when we checked in that they overbooked and we didn't have a room, especially since we had to pay for the room (non-refundable) at the time the reservation was made. We are regular once-monthly customers.
