It has contemporary western style motif with newer amenities, very quiet and very pleasant. Excellent place to stay, with in walking distance to the town 1.5 streets. staff was very nice and easy to talk to. The care about the place.

• Melissa (6/5): Cute place, lacking service - The website details need to be updated. The instructions say to call if your check-in is later than 8pm we got there at 7:40pm and they were closed. I called and the lady was in the shower seemed put out said she waited and the office closed at 6pm not 8pm. The website says the pool is open 24/7. She told me they lock the pool at 9pm which is fine we were going to sit in the pool for 30 mins or so before bed. We walked to the pool at 8:20pm and it was locked. That’s the whole reason we chose to book here over other places was the pool. She also said the office opens at 8am and there would be coffee. I went to check out at 8:20am and there was no one in the office but a maintenance person who had to call and make sure we were ok to leave the key and leave. I understand it’s a small town and probably family run but the website/instructions should be updated and the service could definitely be improved. It’s a really cute place. The bed was comfortable the ac was good. No complaints other than the service and expectations set by the description and website.

• Jeremiah (6/5): - When I arrived in the early afternoon no one was at the desk, I had to call a number and have someone come down to the office. I was informed that this property had recently changed hands, and they were trying to get caught up. The couple that ran the place didn't really seem into what they were doing. The fridge was unplugged and dirty, and there was nowhere to sit down in the room. I was supposed to stay for 3 nights but due to extremely limited dining options in town, I cut my visit short by a day. No refund, of course. This place might be okay to rest your head for a night, but I wouldn't stay beyond that.
• Ronald (4/5): - The Trail Rider's Inn has seen much better days. I wouldn't stay here again. The property needs a lot of work, hard work. I have to say as a strong positive that the people that work there are very nice and accommodating.

• George (10/5): - This is a reasonably priced, simple, clean and safe place to stay that is walking distance (about two blocks) from historic downtown Tombstone. There is a BBQ area and picnic tables for those looking to hang out. We needed a place to sleep and wash up and this was perfect for us.

Beautiful & well-kept BBQ area. Morning coffee is great with 2 Kurig coffee makers with all the coffee necessities—however the lighting is poor so I had to use a flashlight in order to see the buttons to push. Ice is provided for evening cocktails.

• Christine (8/5): Weekend in Tombstone/Bisbee - Took a weekend trip to Tombstone and Bisbee. Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the main attraction area. We stayed in the bunk house and it was good. Ceiling fan was not working the first night but a call to Jordan in the morning and he sent someone right over to fix it. Shower control was a bit wonky and hard to regulate. Told Jordan on departure so they could look at it before the next guest arrived. Overall, satisfied with our stay and would probably stay there again if in the area.

• Audrey (4/5): - This was obviously a very nice property at one time but has been allowed to decline horribly over time. Soon as we opened the door the smell of mustiness and decay was overwhelming. Looked clean enough but in the morning light the floors and corners were filthy. They have a lovely bbq area but the seats are ripped and stuffing coming out. The breakfast was an orange, a hostess snack and a donut. Pool area was clean and hot tub worked great. The office was closed the whole time we were there, called, told us the room number, door u licked and key on table. That was okay, weird but okay. But could be such a charming property if the rooms were not so dilapidated.

• Richard (10/5): Give it a try! - GREAT LOCATION!! Don't expect much from the hotel but they do try and be as courteous and friendly as possible. I would recommend staying there but keep in mind this is an old hotel and an old west community. The manager was very nice and helpful.

Checked us in at 9am with immediate access to our room. Older but cosy and super clean room. The pool area is a great with a really well tended pool and hottub, with 24hr access to pool & hotub. Really comfortable padded wicker loungers. There is a super cool communal area Highly highly recommend this motel when visiting Tombstone.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Great Location, Friendly Staff - This motel is neat, clean and conveniently located for tourists wishing to visit historic Tombstone. The historic district is only a short drive or walk away, and the staff are helpful and friendly. There’s just one drawback: the beds. They’re super-unsupportive and feel old and creaky (or at least, the one in our room dId). My husband and I did a lot of tossing and turning, and came away with back pain. Fortunately, this is a problem that could easily be fixed with the purchase of new mattresses. They don’t even have to be anything high-end; even mediocre replacements would be a significant improvement.

Minor issues are slow wifi and slow to respond cable tv, no hot water in shower. But as a place to sleep for the night, it did the job.

• KoreanCanuck (8/5): Good location and an alright stay - My friend and I stayed in separate rooms and although we arrived late, we contacted the staff and he was very accommodating and made arrangements for our keys to be made available to us so big plus. He also gave us a discount when we checked out. The room is very old fashioned and not yet. Pretty clean throughout and has all toiletries you need as well as a fridge and fans if it gets too hot. So not bad. A few minor issues. No hot water in the shower so I left a note with housekeeping to look into that, and the wifi was there but slow and inconsistent and the TV kept freezing up and had slow reception. My friend said he saw a roach in the bathtub in his room. But overall, a relatively affordable place to stay if you’re on a budget and it’s walking distance to the main tombstone area so we were satisfied overall.
