- Kathleen (10/5): Absolute Paradise - It was perfect! A little slice of heaven, about 20 min walk from town which was nice to get out of the crowds. Taxis are stupidly expensive so if you don’t want to walk it can be a little pricey to shuttle back and forth.
- Ruben (8/5): Mooi hotel met goede zwembaden wat verder van centrum - Schoon hotel met nette kamers en goede bedden. Het personeel is vriendelijk. Je kon gebruik maken van een gezamenlijke keuken. Er is een grote supermarkt op 5 minuten loopafstand. Mooie zwembaden in een fijne groene binnentuin, met voldoende ligbedden. Het hotel is wat verder van het centrum en er zijn weinig plekken direct in de buurt waar je kan ontbijten of dineren. Er is geen restaurant bij het hotel.

- Mylène (9/5): Lovely stay in Cozumel - The apartment is set in beautiful, lush gardens, giving it a peaceful and relaxing feel. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the centre, close enough for convenience, but far enough to avoid the nightlife noise. Spacious, comfortable, and well suited for families. Would definitely recommend!

- Kelsi (8/5): - Our family of 4 enjoyed the spacious 2 bedrooms and nice big beds. The kitchen area and large supply of drinking water was also appreciated. We enjoyed our second floor balcony, the lush trees everywhere, the birds and the dogs. Our first morning of vacation we woke up to enjoy a coffee on the balcony, but found that our neighbor was very upset as he’d had all his expensive dive gear stolen off his balcony over night. The pool area did not live up to the photos. Good place for bigger groups if you don’t mind walking a little further from town.

- Susan (9/5): We were there for one night. Staff were pleasant and very helpful. - The pool area was lovely as were the grounds. The room was basic but adequate. The room backed up to a road with some traffic. We were told we were a short distance from a beach but access to a beach was further away. Hotels lined the beach and we couldn't access the beach from the other hotels.

- Richard (9/5): Beautiful quirky peaceful place. - A little oasis hidden away! Beautiful quirky peaceful place. We had a private garden hidden in the bamboo and a plunge pool which was refreshing and lovely after a day out. The room was a great size with lovely shower and bathroom facilities and coffee peculator and fridge. Water available for refills which we love and a great shared kitchen for us - always immaculate.
- Amy (10/5): Peaceful stay in nature in beautiful apartment near town - We absolutely loved our stay at Villas El Encanto. We stayed in six different properties across Mexico over three weeks and this was our favourite. It is so peaceful and the garden is stunning - so many beautiful tropical plants, a well kept pool, plus chickens and very friendly dogs running around. I loved hearing all the birds and watching the hummingbirds from the balcony. The apartment itself was really spacious, well equipped and so well cleaned! In terms of location, it’s 5-10 mins to the big supermarkets, or a 15-20 min walk into the main spots in town, which we found absolutely fine to do most evenings. We got taxis to the relevant snorkel tours, beach bars etc further down the coast, which we found easy enough to flag down - either by ringing in advance or finding them at the supermarket down the road. We would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful stay in nature but who also wants to be close to everything. We’d love to stay again next time we’re in Cozumel! Nothing - perfect way to end a three week trip

- Amanda (9/5): Friendly and comfortable - Lush gardens everwhere made me feel like i wasn't stayin in/near a city. Property is quite and walkable distance from food and shopping. There are dogs on the property which are very friendly and helped make the stay enjoyable as I miss my dogs while I travel There wasn't really I didn't like. There are 2 pools that are clean, but too cold to swim in, in January. Alot of shade prevents sun tanning.

- Manwei (9/5): Great stay, good location, good price. - Nice pool, clean room, and AC available. They had a nice kitchen with a water cooler right outside the room. We were able to cook and microwave food in the kitchen as well. We came to celebrate a birthday, and they were very kind and left a nice gift for us. There is no consistently manned front desk. I did have their number so was able to reach the hotel in that manner. However, texting and waiting is a bit more inconvenient than being able to find a person, even during normal hours. Overall, it was just a minor inconvenience.
- Nicole (9/5): Wonderful family stay, everything needed with snorkeling across the street. - Loved the 2 bedroom layout and perfect for traveling with family. The balcony with hammock was great to sit out and eat in the evening, the bedrooms spacious with fan and AC and all the supplies for cooking. Bit confused with the booking, but management sorted it out and gave me a great upgrade deal.

Muy mal preparada para la entrada de mosquitos. 3. Nos dijeron que cada día nos darían café y nunca sucedió. 4. Nos levantamos un día sin agua en la habitación, la recepción (siendo su horario) estaba cerrada. Tuvimos que escribir por booking para que lo solucionaran, lo cual contestaron pero luego no avisaron. 5. La ubicación está mucho más lejos del centro que lo que pone, desde el muelle son unos 30-35min.

Well kept pools, shared kitchen available for use and filtered drinking water in family cabin. Loved the dogs on property as well. Walkable neighborhood close to grocery store and about half a mile to bakery and other shops.
- Blair (10/5): - The courtyard and grounds were a magical, lush and creative landscape. It was so tranquil especially in the evening with the pretty lighting and the large comfy hammock. It belies the outward appearance of the building (which is clean, bright and colourful). We were pleasantly surprised and as a bonus in May, we had it all to ourselves. No TV in the room, and we didn't miss it lol.

- Birkham (10/5): Great place, tropical trees and lounging! - We stayed in a clean room with 2 beds, bathroom upstairs and communal kitchen, fridge and eating area down below. Great pool! Lots of lounging area- hammocks, couches, chairs all outside. Tropical trees throughout the property, listening to the birds in the morning was lovely! Quiet location, off beaten track a bit but still close enough to walk. Was great!

- Nadia (10/5): Exceptional - Really liked the atmosphere it was like staying in a jungle garden without realizing you were in the middle of the city. The kitchen was fully equipped to prepare any meal. Rooms were spacious, and staff were very helpful!
- Kurtis (8/5): - Wonderful little spot with nice welcoming hosts. We hadn’t noticed there was no TV in the unit, which would have been nice to unwind to, but that was our mistake. The only other issue was there was only one Key, which opens and closes the entry gate so you need to be together to come and go. The key to the unit also is needed to lock from the inside which I’ve never seen before. My Girlfriend went out to get groceries and when I woke up from my nap I was literally locked inside the unit without a key and no way to get out! Seems like a dangerous design especially if you have kids etc. Having said that, lovely place and nice staff.

- Kara (10/5): Beautiful tropical paradise in Cozumel - We Absolutely loved this hidden gem. Only a 15 min walk into the heart of town. 5 min to the grocery to pick up all your provisions. The rooms are set in the most beautiful, lush gardens. Two perfect dipping pools to cool off after a hot day in the Mexican sun. If you want to rent a jeep there is parking available in the gated compound. If you love dogs they have 6 rescues that roam the property. We fell in love with them all. It really feels like home here. All the staff are amazing and kind. We loved it so much we booked (before we left) for a month next year.

- Casi (9/5): Paradise - The location was perfect. Beautiful grounds. There are 5 dogs on the property. So cute. They would hang out with our girls. The villas had comfortable beds, equipped kitchen, cold AC, and hot showers. We were close to downtown and there is a grocery store that is a 5 minute walk. The dogs barking at 6:30 AM. But that's what dogs do. The Internet service was very bad. Although we didn't use the Internet much, there were times we would have liked to use it.

- Alessandro (8/5): Good option for a sport event - I liked the place because it was very quiet. I went for a race so it was convenient to have the kitchen to cook my own meals. The location was good, as it is close to a supermarket and the main boulevard and not too far from the centers with coffee places and reastaurants. The only minor drawback is that the room didn't have a tv. Also, the utensils and pans in the kitchen could use a little bit of an update.

The stay itself was beautiful, secluded and was incredibly relaxing. Access to a shared kitchen was a bonus. Really great access to local restaurants within a 10 minute walk. We also loved seeing the property dogs, they were super hosts! I can't reccomeneded this property enough. One of our favourite stays.

She recommended a great dive trip and helped organise a medical appointment. Appartments have everything you need for a self contained/sufficient stay with all the necessary amenities. 15 minute walk into the centre of Cozumel and would probably recommend a car to make the most of exploring the island. Great base for an island adventure - would def recommend.

- Lorne (10/5): - My wife and I stayed at Villas el Encanto for a week. It's a real gem. We were looking for a quiet inn, a little off the beaten track to rest and recuperate at and use as a home base to explore the island. Our two bedroom apartment was wonderful. Martin and his staff were super, very helpful. The villas courtyard is a tropical rainforest. The sounds of birds fills the air. It's located towards the western edge of San Miguel. It's about a 15 minute walk to the heart of downtown, 10 minutes to a public beach and two blocks to the nearest supermarket. We highly recommend it.
