• Sabine (9/5): Gute Wahl für einen Kurzurlaub in Venedig - Sehr gute Lage für den Besuch der Biennale oder die Gegend um den Markusplatz. Sehr nah beim Schiffsanleger Arsenale, gut mit den Schieß Verbindungen vom Flughafen oder Bahnhof zu erreichen. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Es gab keinen Aufzug, aber das Personal hätte auf unseren Wunsch den Koffer hoch getragen.

The staff were very helpful with arranging the water taxi from the airport to the hotel and then the concierge met us at the dock to help with our luggage. Lähellä muutama pienempi ruokakauppa ja hinta-laatusuhteeltaan hyviä ravintoloita. Huone siivottiin päivittäin. Aamupala oli monipuolinen ja aamupalalla työskentelevä nainen oli super ystävällinen ja avulias - hänelle isot kiitokset! Henkilökunta tarjoutui auttamaan laukkujemme viemisessä 3. kerrokseen kun hissiä ei ole. Hotelli järjesti meille myös kuljetuksen takaisin lentokentälle aikaisin aamulla, mikä sujui moitteettomasti. Vastaanotto oli auki 24/7. Huone oli yöllä hieman kuuma, kun ilmastointi ei ollut ilmeisesti vielä toiminnassa huhtikuussa, joten pidimme ikkunaa auki (kysyimme tästä myös vastaanotosta). Vastaanotossa työskentelevät henkilöt olivat välillä meille hieman töykeitä (esim. take-away aamupalasta kysyttyämme, mikä kuitenkin lopulta järjestyi ystävällisen rouvan auttamana). Huoneet kaipaavat ehkä hieman pintaremonttia ja tarkempaa siistimistä, mutta muutoin huone täytti tarpeemme hyvin. Äänieristys toisiin huoneisiin ei ole kovin hyvä eli hyvä olla korvatulpat mukana.

The doors to the bathroom and toilet were glass and partially transparent, which was not very convenient. The bathroom was a bit narrow. The room was clean and the heating worked, which was great. The best thing about this hotel was the location and the staff. Great service and very helpful and kind people. They checked us in before check-in time, organized excursions to nearby islands, and were super nice the whole time. I would stay there again, not because of the room, but because of the location of the hotel and the service.

• Steven (9/5): If you want a complete Venetian experience, staying in this hotel will help. - Perfect location, an hour from the airport by water bus. It’s 5 minutes walk from the main sights you’d like to see. The property and staff were amazing for our short stay (2 nights). We didn’t have breakfast there but it looked great. It’s a little noisy in the morning as people set up their shops, bars and businesses. It’s only a minor thing though. The whole area is fantastic so locals preparing their day is a small thing to worry about. *nothing to do with the hotel but the airport is chaos. Very little help, lots of confusion, please give yourself enough time when leaving. We gave ourselves 2hrs 45minutes and got the plane 15 minutes before take off.

Also no privacy when using the toilet as the door didn't seal the room properly as there was a gap. I couldn't get the aircon to work or the safe which I did mention but it was never fixed.

The hotel stands out for its impeccable cleanliness, the rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Every detail was taken care of, making us feel completely relaxed and at ease throughout our stay. We especially appreciated that the towels were changed every day, which added an extra touch of comfort and care. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They provided useful information about the city and made sure we had a pleasant experience at all times. The location of the hotel is perfect, situated in a quiet area yet very close to the main attractions, allowing easy access to everything while still enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice. We would definitely choose it again for our next trip!

With being an older building you need to expect noise from the stairs as people go up and down and possibly above you.

• Kacio (2/5): Pessima - Única parte boa da acomodação está na localização As imagens não correspondem ao ambiente, apartamentos muito pequeno, na possui elevador, banheiros sem box, fica tudo molhado. Não recomendo estadia para família com bebês, o “hotel” não possui um espaço com o básico, um fogão e um microondas, fiz o perdido na recepção para esquentar a comida da minha bebê não foi possível, pediram pra eu ir nos restaurantes na rua.

• rhianae2021 (4/5): Very poor stay - Overall a poor experience and I wouldn’t return. I’ll start off with some positives- the location was very good, right in the centre but just far enough away to beat the crowds. The breakfast buffet was lovely and the waitress was also very attentive and kind. Rooms were also cleaned daily. Unfortunately the negatives outweigh any of these positives. Firstly, the rooms very VERY outdated- needed painting and serious updating. They were scruffy with paint hanging off the walls in the corners, looking nothing like the pictures advertised- they obviously had not been touched since the update in 2014 and pictures not updated either. The bathroom was also TINY. You couldn’t even sit on the toilet as the bidet was right opposite so had to sit sideways- the shower was also very very small we struggled as two 5 foot 5 people- anybody taller would not have been able to stay here.The rooms were not sound proof at all and the air conditioning didn’t work as advertised. No milk in the room which was odd and the kettle didn’t even fit in the plug so we had to put it on the floor to fit into an appropriate socket. When we asked for some assistance they were rude on messaging and told us we were actually in an upgraded room and we could go back to a more basic room if we wanted. Rudely told air conditioning is not there in March despite it being advertised on the site. We asked for fans as the room was boiling and much hotter than the temperature outside and again told no. Whenever we opened windows for air mosquitos came in by bus load and we left with many bites to our legs and even face meaning we had an awful nights sleep every night. We complained afterwards as well but no response was received from them. If they had apologised and been a bit more helpful during our stay that would have helped but they evidently didn't care about their guests experiences in our opinion.

• Claudia (9/5): Für Castello LiebhaberInnen - Sehr nette Zimmer, für Venedig Verhältnisse durchaus eher gross. Alles sehr sauber. Nettes hilfsbereites Personal. Zentrale Lage. Rundum viele nette Restaurants und Bars. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen. Wie in so vielen italienischen Hotels kein Lift, weil der in den alten Häusern keinen Platz hat. Deswegen ist es sportlich mit dem Gepäck in den 3.Stock zu kommen.

Dès le premier jour, nous n’avons pas pu ouvrir la fenêtre et il y avait des bruits incessants dans la journée, ce qui a perturbé notre repos pendant les vacances. Salle de bain jolie mais trop petite, pour se doucher il fallait se mettre en travers je précise nous pesons 51 kilos et 77 kilos.

Quarto e casa de banho pequenos o que contraria um pouco a ideia passada pelas fotografias (o nosso não foi o das fotos). A casa de banho é de facto muito pequena, logo o chuveiro é minúsculo e com cortina dificultando o banho e fazendo com que o chão fique molhado. Como tínhamos uma criança de 2 anos este detalhe ganhou relevância.

Conseguenza, molto silenzioso, letti comodi e dormito benissimo. Staff gentilissimo: saputo che era il mio compleanno, è arrivata in omaggio una bottiglia di prosecco con ghiaccio. La colazione in hotel è molto piacevole, anche se costosa, e viene servita con cura. La camera era piccola, ma molto confortevole, ben riscaldata, doccia grande e ben sigillata, prodotti buoni. E, ovviamente, è molto centrale a poche centinaia di metri da S. Marco. Bello, da tornare. Davanti all'hotel, ci sarebbe un ristorante carino, il Covo, ma sono quasi sempre pieni. Noi abbiamo rimediato con un bacaro buono e onesto, ma in zona c'è anche Franz, un tempio della cucina veneziana.
