Ottimo anche l’onsen, separato per le signore e con la password per entrare, non c’era nessuno, è stato rilassante e una esperienza nuova! Ottima soluzione il deposito bagagli con lucchetti a combinazione da utilizzare self service! Ambiente curato, accogliente e pulitissimo! Non si apre la finestra, è necessario tenere l’aria condizionata accesa

Julien (10/5): Hotel idéalement placé avec toutes les commodités pour passer un bon voyage. - Tout: ambiance, déco, localisation idéale, personnel attentif et disponible. Les "bains" sont pour moi un gros plus après une bonne journée de marche. On peut écouter des vinyls prés du bar ce qui rajoute à l'expérience. Les chambres sont confortables et propres et le petit déjeuner est vraiment complet.

William (10/5): Great location, relaxing stay and nice complimentary drinks each night - Great location in Kyoto with easy access to shopping, restaurants and transport. The complimentary drink each night was a really nice touch, with the choice of alcoholic or soft drinks. The hotel had a relaxing atmosphere and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Rooms were a little small, but this is quite common in Japan. No major complaints overall.
Morena (9/5): Ottima esperienza a Kyoto - Hotel in posizione ottima, comodo sia alle entrate metro che per girare a piedi. Stanza piccola ma pulita e con tutto il necessario. Personale accogliente, bellissima la postazione con giradischi e vinili e cosa non da poco, nella hall un buon caffè sempre a disposizione degli ospiti.

Holly (9/5): Perfect location with bonus amenities in Kyoto - Perfect location near Kawaramachi - nearby train and subway stations, shopping, Nishiki Market a few minutes away. Staff were amazing and helpful as my dad sprained his ankle and they helped translate to get medical info and care. Breakfast buffet was extensive. Free luggage storage area. Lounge was a great spot to grab a drink and recap the day. Loved the onsen style bath! Would have traded a queen size bed for the king one so we could have a little more space to move about the room

David (10/5): Enjoyed very much, but not sure I shall visit Kyoto again. We shall see. - This was my 3rd stay in last 12 years. The location is amazing and I enjoyed my stay. I would have liked the 2 coffee machines in lobby to be the same. We couldn’t access the cappuccino in morning, but had no issues in afternoon. The carpeting on our floor is looking a little worn out. Should be looked at. Previous stays there were more Japanese at hotel as quest, unfortunately the foreign tourist (I know sounds self serving) have over run hotel and city.
LluisArevalo (9/5): Perfect spot, in the center of Kyoto with a great bedroom to rest after a long day visiting the city - Generally, the rooms and beds in Japan are really small. This was the exception. The hotel had a huge room, with a nice bathroom and shower, and the bed was so big that was the best one of our trip. If we come back to Kyoto, we will definitely repeat. They don't clean your room (or maybe we didn't stay long enough). We are used to get our bed make every day in hotels, but this is not the case in Japan. Overall, we didn't find things that we didn't like.

Simone (3/5): Mi sono ammalato dalla polvere che c’era - La colazione è la posizione si salvano ma non basta. Considerando 4 stelle e prezzo, Camere e struttura piena di polvere. Una cosa vergognosa. Filtri dei condizionatori inesistenti e c’era la polvere in tutti gli angoli, alette dei condizionatori compresi. Pulizia apparente. Pessimo.

olivier (4/5): Bien , mais chambre trop petite - L'hôtel est parfaitement placé pour visiter la ville à pied sans subir le bruit. Tout y est extrêmement propre et les chambres sont d'un grand confort. Mention spéciale pour le salon cosy et les jetons de boisson gratuits chaque jour, un vrai plus. Excellent petit déjeuner. La taille de la chambre "lit queen size" demeure le véritable point noir: il n'y a aucun rangement de disponible et on peut pas ouvrir une valise. il n'y a pas d'espace pour se déplacer. Pour un établissement classé 4 étoiles, la surface des chambres est décevante et ne justifie pas les tarifs pratiqués

Beds not that comfortable. Nice Onsen but could be better (no view, no water machine). Room beds weren’t made.

Definitely recommend staying here. Rooms are a little outdated but when you are in Japan, how much time do you really spend in your room?
Tracey (5/5): This hotel is in a great position but did not measure up to our expectations - This hotel was immaculately clean and in a great position. However, the room was a lot smaller than our expectation. The staff were very young and at times unhelpful. They didn't appear to have much rapport with the guests. The exception to this were the staff who served breakfast. You could have a drink at the bar when it opened in the evenings. The staff who served when we were there were not interested in interacting with customers.
Carla Recabarren (9/5): Me gustó! Excelente desayuno - Habitación cómoda, personal amable! Nos ayudaron a recibir y enviar las maletas y nos prestaron paraguas un día de lluvia. El hotel cuenta con cosas muy prácticas como autoservicio de amenidades, cafetera y agua disponible para huéspedes y espacio para maletas estilo "coin-locker". El desayuno lo recomiendo a ojos cerrados. Super completo y cómodo para la dieta occidental. Excelente ubicación cerca del metro, de algunos barrios emblemáticos y de mucho comercio. Lo recomiendo! No es malo realmente, pero la recepción está en el piso 2, y cada vez que quieres subir o bajar en el ascensor, siempre para en el piso 2 jajajaja

Mark (10/5): Fantastic location, wonderful staff,. and excellent breakfest. - Fantastic location. Real heart of the town center. Staff at higher possible level. And excellent breakfest. At our room the distance between bed and wall was nearly 15 cm.
Linda (9/5): I would stay here again, but not during the warmer months. - The property is in an ideal location in Kyoto since it is walking distance to shopping, subway stations, bus stops, Nishiki Market, Gion district (Geisha) and 7-11 (obtain currency and pay for goods with cash, credit card or Suica card). The beds are very comfortable, the shower has good water pressure, the small loveseat and table are useful to have, the mini-refrigerator and kettle in the room are a plus, and the washer/dryer in the building functions well. The hotel also includes a restaurant that serves a delicious breakfast buffet for a fair price. Guests also can partake in the nightly happy hour (1 token (for a drink) per guest/per night is given at check-in). Also, guests may securely store their luggage in the lobby prior to check-in and/or after check-out. The room was too warm (20 degrees Celsius is the lowest temperature setting allowed) and there was very little room to move around.

Niels (9/5): - I had a room from where I could see the main road, that was very nice! The onsen was also really nice after a day with alot of walking. I have tattoo's, I was unsure if it was allowed in there, but it was empty when I went so enjoyed the onsen!
