• Ashutosh (6/5): - The property is closer to little india. The drinking water filter facility in the property is limited as it is a small filter which quickly goes out of water even with a small 1 litre of water bottle.

• robgW6250IV (8/5): Pretty good value in a convenient location - Staff very friendly, I can't comment on how helpful they are as I really didn't have that many questions or issues for them. The free mini-bar that gets topped up each day is certainly a bonus and well received. Free water fountain in the lobby also was a great touch. Cleanliness of the room on arrival and each day was great, the room was clean and hygienic. I was able to leave my bags for the day after check-out in order to spend a day sight seeing before catching my late flight. Very close (about 5 minute walk) to Bugis station, Bugis Market and Arab Street made it very convenient neighbourhood to be in. Room was a comfortable size for one person, however for two persons, it may have been a little tight. However, as I am told, this is not unusual for Singapore hotels, so not really a big issue. The show/toilet area is way too close, meaning that when I took a shower, the whole floor, including the toilet was drenched with water.
• Wander21282839714 (8/5): Lovely stay at Nuve bugis! - Warm and Cooperative staff with the cleanest of rooms, daily housekeeping(which is quite rare jn singapore) and comfy beds. Spotless linen and spick n span washrooms...superb stay! Only if the area could be bigger, but most of the hotels there have compact rooms.
• miles_wa (8/5): Great location in the bustle of things - Stayed here a few days when in Singapore, and loved it's location amongst the action. Everything is within walking distance, and the side street it is located on is quiet enough to feel comfortable. The room is tiny, and we stayed near the lobby so there was some noise, but if it's just for sleeping in and showering, then the room is fine. Air conditioning was good. Service was friendly.
• HeartfulWanderlust (10/5): Cosy and Convenient Go-To Stay in Singapore - Hotel NuVe is always our go-to hotel whenever we visit Singapore! Although it is small, it is comfortable and strategically located. It is within walking distance of the Bugis MRT station and very close to Sultan Mosque, with plenty of nearby food options.

Cause of the early flight, I’m not really feeling well and exhausted. So I asked the staff is it possible to early check in or got lounge can let me take a rest first. Unfortunately hotel dun have the lounge, guest also haven’t check out. Hotel staff guide me to the ladies. Before I leaving , staff call me said their team just finished 1 room. Let me early check in. Really appreciated it and feeling warm. When I am really weak in overseas. I was stay in 20/8-22/8.
• Putsalju (10/5): Hidden Gem in Singapore - What i love about Hotel NuVe is their location. the location it's really perfect for explore Singapore, it's close to Sultan Mosque, Arab Street, Kampong Glam and just need a short to MRT Bugis station. their room was perfect, cozy and clean with smart tv, bathroom has a bidet there's a hairdryer and coffee maker. their staff were friendly and helpful! the hotel also provides water dispenser and they have a rooftop terrace
• 647sweel (8/5): A subtly tucked away Gem. - Was at Nuve Urbane. A place reasonably close to the Lavender MRT station with lots of eateries close by. A nice touch is a roof garden, cabanas and a minimal pool. The room was clean; walls are thick enough and I had good sleep. Service staff are efficient and welcoming, of special mention is Raj. At a 3/4 *, hotel is highly recommended.

• Joseph (6/5): Great location but so Small Pictures are Deceiving - The hotel is in a great location. The bed was VERY comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. The free minibar was a nice addition. However, the pictures on the website are very deceiving. This is about the smallest hotel room for 2 people without having a bunkbed instead of a bed. Our room also had a connecting door to the next room. Unfortunately, our neighbor had a small child that cried and yelled when talking and we could hear EVERYTHING. You cannot walk around the bed. My husband had to crawl over me to get out. It looks like there is a separate shower, this is not the case. The shower head is in the middle of the bathroom between the toilet and the sink. We were disappointed considering what this hotel cost per night. If you are paying less than $80 American per night, then I think that is would be fare. We paid $167. per night.

• 69justinn (10/5): good value for your money hotel stay - hotel is at good location. they have helpful and friendly hotel staff there is also a nice rooftop open area to relax my kids loves the biscuits available at the hotel lobby they even allow us to borrow the umbrellas when it rained

• Heidi (6/5): Compact, not like the photos or worth the price! - We stayed here for 8 nights, but only chose the hotel because the one we booked had a security/scam alert 3 weeks out and we had to switch. We went during the week before the Singapore F1, so everything was up in price, but at nearly $280 per night, it was definitely not worth the price. The room was compact, functional, and it worked okay because we weren’t in the room very often. But overall disappointing and we would not choose to stay there again unless it was for 1 night. The pros: 1. Location - so easy for MRT/Bus, right near Arab Street and was super safe. Despite having a nightclub across the road, and surrounded by hostels, we never heard anything. 2. The friendly staff - we were greeted every day, and they were super helpful. 3. Free mini bar - this was restocked daily. 4. Air con - thought this had to run all day/night, and if it was turned off, the room became so hot after about 5 minutes. The cons: Everything else!! 1. Nothing like the photos, we were in a Basic room, but even the photos on the website did not represent the actual room. We didn’t realise the shower was over the toilet, it was so compact and water just went everywhere. 2. Lack of storage 3. Mould in the bathroom 4. Only 1 towel per person (though we could try and get towels upon request if they had any at the front counter) 5. Hot water went cold after about 3 minutes in the shower 6. The bed was up against the wall so one of us had to crawl in and out of bed.

Sadly the hotel facilities are quite run down and the rooms are very noisey as the hotel is just down the road from a mosque. Rooms are very small, and not many have windows. Not much space to unpack a suitcase and no desk space if you plan to do some work. Terrace is not particularly nice either. Carpets could do with a thorough clean. Mini bar was well stocked and complimentary and water dispenser was a great touch.

If there is no window in the room, it's better to indicate in the description on the booking platform. For some reason, I feel not good in a completely close area. Kudos to Housekeeping staff! - good location - near Arab street and Haji lane, popular tourist destinations; walking distance to Bugis Metro (7-10mins.) And Bugis Street - water dispenser is available - bottled water is costly in SG, better buy a tumbler and refill it in the hotel - complimentary drinks in the fridge (we had softdrinks and Iced tea)

Very quiet area close to the mosque w/ fast, ready local Arab food around the area. Good water pressure & nice rooftop if you wanna relax or shower in the rain!
• tinmanFromAus (8/5): Good value, excellent location - No frills hotel in a very central location. I got the cheapest room in the hotel, which doesn't have a window. The amenities were decent and the hotel room was clean. The location is excellent, close to lots of great things to eat, shop and do. It is a good 3 star hotel and for the price, a decent option. If I come back to this hotel, I'll definitely pay more for a better room.
• Verified traveler (4/5): The anti-marina bay sands - The walls were paper thin, we were able to hear others snoring. Had leftover snacks from previous people and the coffee cups were still dirty. There were stains on the bed sheets. Instead of fixing a hole in the bathroom, there was shoddy patch work. The rooms were much smaller than those in the pictures.
• 31hartonot (10/5): Location at Bugis and Kampung Glam - Always like this small cute hotel especially the single room (#201). This hotel located very near to Sultan Mosque near Kampung Glam, a very nice traditional area with a lot of middle eastern food. The hotel also near Bugis area and you can have a number of Malay restaurants nearby. Bugis area is also a great place for shopping and culinary. The hotel has a small functioning lobby which was always attended by receptionist. Single room (#201) which I always requested was not big but very wide with nice bathroom. The single bed is enough for one person. The room also has free coffee and tea. Free water dispenser at lobby area and they have clean glass bottle in every room to refill drinking water. During certain time you will hear the prayer call from Sultan Mosque,but it is less than 5 minutes. The hotel do not provide breakfast as they don't have dining area,but just beside the hotel there is a cafe. The only downside of room #201 is the air condition unit just above the bed that blow the air directly to your head and this is not hygiene. The other downside is the loud music from cafe beside the hotel. Recommended for short visit for the room comfort and location.
• AnneA57 (6/5): Quaint building in interesting street - Good, affordable hotel in a great area. Close to Arab St, Victoria St and Haji Lane for the great food and ambience. Also a wonderful area for fabric shopping. Room was an accessible one so enough space for one, aircon was good and the bed was really comfortable. Clean enough but the carpet near the bed probably could do with renew. They're is a high set window so it lets in light but there is no view. The staff were friendly and polite. I neglected to get a print out of my invoice but they happily provided this for me at a later date. Its a fine place to stay if there is one of you.
• Fiona (2/5): - Hotel staff showed no flexibility or empathy for their customers, not to mention unhelpful. Our flight got cancelled 24 hours to departure, so we could not fly to Singapore thus could not check into the accommodation. Reached out to the hotel who repeatedly stated that the booking was non-refundable, which I do understand however, should there not be some level of flexibility given we could not get into the country? The cancelled flight was completely out of my control and it was stressful enough trying to find alternative flights home, let alone dealing with inconsiderate hotel staff refunding to refund the full payment we had made. It was not the fact that I had simply changed my mind, I physically could not fly into the country to check in. In this post covid era where lockdowns and cancelled flights are increasingly common, there needs to be some consideration given on case by case scenarios, rather than a blanket statement of 'you booked a non-refundable room'. The Formula 1 Racing was also on that weekend, therefore it was highly likely that they resold our room after we advised we could not check in, whilst also withholding our payment for the same room. Double payment for 1 room. Well done. The hotel staff also tried to palm us of to Expedia, telling us to seek a refund through Expedia instead. However Expedia staff were more than efficient in trying to resolve this and coordinate with the hotel to get us a refund. The resistance was all coming from hotel level.
• Kate (2/5): - One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. The room was tiny and freezing, the aircon couldn't be turned off, I slept in all my clothes. The room had no soundproofing and was opposite a nightclub with no soundproofing, it was impossible to sleep. Utterly miserable.

• karen (8/5): - Room is small, like most in Singapore, but very clean and updated. We had connecting rooms with 2 baths. So really nice. The location is close to train stations and food options (about 15min. walk). We walked everywhere or took the train. We were out all day, so no need for fancy hotel. A nice stay.
• AndEs7685 (2/5): Never will book again - This is my first and last booking ever. I booked through Agoda. And during check in, the staff said I only book for a 5 hour day stay from their system. However I had booked for a 1 day stay. Stranded at hotel lobby for 2 hours.. Staff not helpful, and taking so long to resolve the matter with Agoda. In the end I have to topup the difference for a day stay. The room is also not expected. Pics on website showed a different enchanted room design but was given a really bad small basic room. Once again, to no avail with the staff and Agoda. For this price, can get a much better room and service elsewhere. TV has no cable channels at all too.
• Afie_Roslan (8/5): Nice overnight stay in cultural ambience. - Room is very clean and well-kept, as shown in photos. Service personnel & housekeeping aunty are very nice and friendly. The walls are not that soundproof so if you're a guest there, pls be a considerate one. There was a group of girls celebrating, shouting, talking loudly during our stay there and it is annoying. You can go to open spaces or clubs for that. But at least the atmosphere was quieter than Hotel Boss. Check in & check out is a breeze. The only downside personally for me is the TV. While i can make do with the channels available being limited to local channels, the reception is bad. Only CNA is clear. The rest are static-y. In a room without a window, i feel the TV should be the "window" for us to the world. Overall, good stay.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - It was a happy moment when we arrived at the hotel...we even upgraded to a bigger room bcos the room we booked was quite small...everything went well until a mishap came upon us...to be very careful when using the toilet...the floor was slippery...I slipped & fell...just a precaution to take note...especially if u come with small children... Nonetheless...the bed in the room was comfortable...I had a good rest... Just to convey my thanks to the auntie cleaner we met when we arrived at the hotel...she was very warm welcoming us...thank u.
• 1233ly (6/5): Review - 3days2nights. Good: Air con is strong. They have balcony and the whole stretch is urs to enjoy although the view is not fantastic. Free minibar. Have expresso. Pretty room, room have fairy lights. bath tub is big. can fit two people. Bad: TV is not a smart tv. dont support netflix but still can watch youtube via HDMI cable. Carpet is damp. Some areas smell like pee. First day, toilet is not clean. theres coffee patch. overall, the room is okay but dirty.
• TheAvidTraveller1975 (8/5): Nice hotel close to excellent Food and Bars - A no frills hotel located amongst excellent food establishments and bars. All within a 5 min walking distance. What more can you ask. Although the rooms are small, but you're not gonna spend the whole day in the room. Its a launchpad to explore all that Bugis has to offer. Check-in was smooth and when i requested for a change in bed linen as there was a stain, room service came in very promptly and changed the linen. Worth a 2nd visit.

• ridzwanwan (10/5): Birthday stay - Nice, simple yet cozy room set up. Check in was quick and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Giving a very homely feel. We booked the classic room which is slightly more spacious than their basic room. There is no drinking plastic bottles given, but instead they give a glass bottle in each room. You can fill up your water from the water dispenser which comes in both still and sparkling. Love the eco-friendly concept though a little hassle. Overall, enjoyable stay.
• Laava (4/5): Musky mouldy room :( - Was really super disappointed with their room. The room had a super musky mouldy smell that got into our heads & lingered on our clothes after a while. It wasn't a pleasant experience as there were many cobwebs on the headboard. We also killed 2 spiders in our few hours of stay there. The room was ultra small for the price paid. The toilet was ultra small but had a bidet, so one plus point. Also, the front desk lady was super nice! Overall we're quite displeased with the room, highly doubt we'll return :(

Food places within 1 min walk and lots of good food. Only downside is there nightclub/ karaoke bar right opposite my room which goes to early hours didn’t really worry me cause I was up anyway getting home. Would probably pev some people off. • prasanna (4/5): - We are not happy when we are staying in this hotel , every small room , not value for $700 days×4, aircon really wast whole night the room feel hot & the breakfast also Same they giving some vouchers we need walk few mins to the local restaurant, food is limited and not nice so for we not happy overall.....
• Verified traveler (8/5): - The guest service was amazing. The check in process went very smoothly and the employees were so helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and the bathroom was very clean as well. Everything felt clean from the bed sheets to the towels to the sink and counters. The area was nice as well. A short walk from Bugis station. The area has a beautiful mosque and great local food. One comment was that our room did not have a window. I thought there would be one from one of the pictures but ours did not have a window. There was skylight that let in some natural light. But overall it was not a big deal since the room did not feel claustrophobic at all. Just something to consider if you expect a window. Overall I would recommend this place to everyone.

• Veron (4/5): Room not soundproof - Commotion outside could be heard in the room, quite disturbing when trying to sleep. Toilet was quite spacious.

Regardless the location - The soundproofing in this hotel is non-existent, I could hear everything every other person is doing (coughing, sneezing, moaning, talking...etc). A lot of commotion around the corridor in the mornings, cleaning lady, people checking out... again making sleep difficult. There was also leakage in the sink (inside the room) so the floor was wet when I came back and there’s ants everywhere. The room is tiny and the photos were misleading. I didn’t know the room had no window and I wouldn’t have booked if I knew. There is also no bottled water provided. Lastly the shower is good but the hot water doesn’t last more than 5 minutes. Just make sure to not take your time.

• Aliceee (8/5): - This is my 4th stay at this hotel. Great location near Bugis juction which is has so many restaurants and also near MRT. For this time i’m not happy about my room that much cause i found some stuff from previous customer on the top of bed i think it’s a scarf and socks!!! I really disappointed (Room 303!). And this room has no refri last time I stayed another room with the same price it had.
• Michaela (8/5): Nice spot in Bugis! - This is a nice small hotel in Bugis. Great location! Close to Hajji Lane, Arab Street and Bugis MRT. Hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit small, but the bed is comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was included and not on the property. We were sent to a Malay place around the corner where breakfast was incredible! However don’t expect a Western Breakfast. Pay close attention to the room choices and amenities they come with. We thought we got a nice value for the money we paid!

• Verified traveler (6/5): A no-fuss hotel. - A no-fuss hotel. Probably good if you are going to stay the night, but not for relaxing in the room (staycation). TV reception was spotty, there were drilling/construction in the afternoon, and the shower couldn't keep the hot water for long. Walking around near the hotel at night would be quite stinky as well. As the place is situated at an area where there are pubs around, and I was unfortunate to smell and see puke.

• Jim (10/5): A very well run hotel managed by attentive staff - I stayed 2 nights in a standard double room and 1 night in the pod, both spaces had very high standard of cleanliness and both were designed to suit the customer's service needs and requirements.
• Mich (8/5): - Conveniently located within 5mins walking distance of the Bugis MRT station. Decent price for a confortable room. Nice complementary biscuits & warm reception staff. However, there was a stained pillow.
• H (2/5): - We had arranged for early check in. When arrived were told our room wasnt ready. Were still charged for early chevk in and given another room. It was so small, dirty, no jot water, no face washers. It was a nightmare. We only stayed about an jour and checked out wadting a weeks accomodation we gad paid for and the early check on fee

• Verified traveler (8/5): A Decent Hotel - The room was clean and functional, though the layout was a little strange. The shower was a rain shower and not hand held, and it's position right at the door. I am a little OCD in terms of wet/dirty flooring. You'll have to walk pass the shower floor in order to get to the toilet seat. Insufficient storage/table space, and only one power plug by the tv, and 1' above the ground by the entrance door; none by the bed. Having said that, we loved how this hotel had very helpful concierge staff and the little perks - ie. Handy device, pocket wifi SGD 8, water, foc canned drinks + oreos, EZ Link card, power bank, umbrella on loan. Hotel location was quite central as well. Overall, a decent hotel.
• 2ManyAdventures (4/5): - PROS: - All of the staff were EXTREMELY NICE. Above and beyond friendly!! - They have a free mini bar with a few drinks and snacks. - Located less than 500m away from the Bugis MRT station. (You can get the Unlimited Tourist Passes from this station which are good for MRT & most buses) - A beautiful mosque is located a block away along with Arab St which has many Halal Arabic/Indian restaurants including some well-known ones. CONS: - Too many noise issues!!! - They are currently performing VERY NOISY, ROOM-SHAKING construction daily on the property between the hours of 9:00am - 8:00pm. - A beautiful mosque is located a block away. This means you get [5] Salahs (Call to prayer) performed very loud daily! The first one is usually around 4:30am and will most likely wake you up unless you are a VERY heavy sleeper! The last one is around 8:00pm. It is VERY loud and disturbing if that is not your thing. - There are a few "clubs" located on the same street so if you have a windows on that street, you may hear music throughout the night. - The rooms are TINY. You get what you pay for! OVERALL: Unfortunately, I wouldn't ever return to this hotel or recommend it to anyone due to the noise issues. I know the construction should be completely soon so that will be one less distraction, but I would check directly before booking. If you have any issues with noise, I would avoid this hotel at all costs. I feel bad writing this review considering the staff, but it was just too much.
• aim (8/5): Nice hotel, free drinkable water - Hotel is near mrt bugis 10mins walks from station. Free wifi and can borrow plug. The refil water machine is very helpful because the water in Singapore expensive. Toilet a little bit dirty.

• arvin (8/5): Compact cozy hotel in Kampong Glam - Room was efficient and clean, bathroom was bigger than I expected for such a room size and type. Walking distance to Kampong Glam, Haji lane and Bugis street.
• Jessie (6/5): Overall it was a good stay - Lots of Muslim friendly restaurant nearby, walking distance to Bugis Junction. The room is nice but can hear activities from outside and next door. The room comes with handy phone as well. The receptionist, Daniel (if not mistaken) and the Malay lady, very pleasant, smiley and helpful.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointing service but good hotel location - Rude female receptionist upon check-in. Room is pretty small but good location. Will not frequent this hotel again.
• Gia Chi Bao (10/5): Small but good room. - The location is good. It is very close to a famous attraction (Masjid Sultan Mosque), a bus stop and a 7-eleven convenience store so I can buy a sim card easily. Bugis MRT station is within walking distance. In front of the hotel there are paintings on the wall so the hotel itself is an attraction.The receptionist helped me to take a nice photo there. The room is really small, but all I need is just a private space, a bed and a private bathroom so there is no complaint. It was quiet when I stayed there. I didn't hear anything from the rooms next door. You may found the sink in the main room weird but it is fine. I can drink directly from it or get water into the kettle to make coffee or tea (they are free). What I like the most is the offered-to-borrow Handy phone in the room with 4G connection. With this, you don't actually need to buy an own 4G sim card to use google map. The woman and the man at the reception didn't talk much but they are friendly. I will stay here again.
• chong (8/5): never fail to be clean and tidy - Hotel nuve is really value for money and convenient to main shopping area bugis and cultural arab street and mosque area. Eat prata around here, it’s one of the best Singapore has to offer. Prata for supper in a very safe environment at midnight is such a luxury you cannot experience in other countries. But i asked housekeeping staff for a pillow which did not arrive so my boyfriend had to go to the counter to ask again. Overall it is really clean and amenities such as toilet shower tv r all really modern n elegant.

• Alice (8/5): Reasonable prices and nice room. - I stayed here for 3 night and it was great. The room quite small but it’s not a big deal. No window so it’s made me a feel cramped. I got room no.204 and it’s great than I expected (I requested for 2nd floor). The wall is thin but i have no problem about it. My next trip I think I will choose to stay here again :)
• Filla (10/5): Hidden little gem - Convenient great location in the heart of Arab St. Awesome air conditioning, cosy room, comfy bed, quality linens and bath towels.
• chloe (2/5): Room is not sound proof AT ALL - The staff gave us a connecting room. In the next room, was a family with a baby. We can hear the conversations and cries clearly. Not only that.... Even the shower and the flushing of toilet can be heard. The snotting of nose as well. It sucks. Dont come here! I am utterly disappointed in this experience!

• Dylan (2/5): Beyond poor - Very poor hotel does not look like in the pictures. The floors were filthy bathroom was filthy. The room had no window the room was tiny the bed felt oily like the sheets hadn’t been changed. I would highly steer clear of this place.
• C (4/5): Noise control - My stay at Hotel Nuve was reasonable. 1. However, the walls have to be thicker, I was disturbed by the noise that were generated by the next room(especially when our rooms had conjoining door). 2. I had booked a Classic room but the room that was presented to me seems to be a Basic room. Slightly disappointed by it.

• Helen (8/5): Comfortable & good value hotel in interesting area - This is a small hotel which is quite cheap for Singapore. While the rooms are tiny (and probably only suitable for one person) they are functional with a comfortable bed and good shower. My room had no windows (think most rooms would be the same) but that meant it was dark so great for sleeping in. Staff at reception were really helpful and the cleaning staff seemed to be very thorough. The best thing though is that it is located in a really interesting area in Bugis - a large mosque, the Malay Heritage Museum, Arab Street and all the other interesting shop front streets are just a few minutes away. As are a number of large shopping centres. It is also only a 5 minute walk from Bugis Station on the East West line that goes to Changi airport.

• Verified traveler (6/5): decent hotel, decent price - Room is a bit on the small side, with slightly dated interior. it is however clean and comfortable. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Location wise it's very nice with walking distance to Bugis, Haji Lane and trains. There is a mosque nearby which does a morning prayer call which could wake you up if you are not a morning person.
