Now ongoing construction next to the hotel which damages the view. Sometimes the friendliness of the lady at the reception felt a bit “colder”.

• Anthony (9/5): As long as dated colors and very old kitchen don’t bother you, this place is amazing and we would definately return and - Incredible location with beautiful views ok lake Lucerne from rooms, pool , restaurant etc. Great value. We had the 3 bedroom apartment which is the whole top 2 stories of the A- frame portion of the hotel. They have private lake area serviced by bar or bring your own with free kayaks and paddle boards. Beautiful pool and multiple saunas. Great and reasonable breakfast buffet. Very safe. They offer a free private shuttle to local restaurants and to the ferry station. This is a must do to Lucerne but will need to take a 100 franc taxi (family of 6 in our van) to get back after 8pm. Our 3 bedroom (every bit of 4 bedrooms actually) apt had great views and very spacious with full kitchen and very clean with new carpets and great bedding but realize furnishings and kitchen are older than we are accustomed but we knew that and so clean it wasn’t a problem. Like so many places , no air conditioning so be sure to know your expected temperature

• Katie (9/5): Super cute hotel in stunning Weggis! - We had the best 3 nights in this gorgeous hotel located right on Lake Lucerne. The staff were incredible and our room was ready early which was much appreciated with two small children. We ate dinner twice in the delicious restaurant and sat outside on the beautiful terrace over looking the lake and mountains. My kids loved the swimming pool and trampoline. We will definitely return. Loved it!!!

Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, dafür möchten wir uns bedanken. Leider war das Hotelzimmer nicht geeignet für Familien mit kleinen Kindern. Es gab mehrere unsichere Stellen, die für Kinder gefährlich sein können. Außerdem war das Zimmer sehr schmutzig. Überall war Staub, und ich hatte während des gesamten Aufenthalts starke Allergieprobleme. Die Einrichtung ist insgesamt sehr alt, schlecht gepflegt und unhygienisch. Sauberkeit und Zustand des Zimmers entsprachen leider nicht unseren Erwartungen. Aus diesen Gründen würden wir das Hotel für Familien mit kleinen Kindern nicht weiterempfehlen.

Super Essen, perfekte Bedienung. Sehr nettes Personal! Die Zimmer sind gross, die Betten bequem. Schöne Holzmöbel. Der Preis ist überteuert, die Zimmer sind gross, das Bad aber in die Jahre gekommen. Die Terrassen sind klein und das Lido-Gebäude versperrt im 1. Stock die Aussicht auf den See. In der Strasse wird gebaut. Der Wellnessbereich ist klein und eher enttäuschend. Die Garage ist zu klein, eng und oft schon besetzt. Alles in allem nicht 4 Sterne sondern eher 3.

Spacious two-level suite We were met by an unfriendly receptionist who initially put us in a suite with some ventilation machine producing loud humming. After complaining she mentioned that it will switch off automatically at midnight, only to switch back at 7AM. In the end she found a better apartment for us. The room and facilities and pretty outdated, longing to be refurbished. But everything works, despite being old. No dishwasher and no airco. Dirty windows.

Les excursions ont été réservées directement depuis la réception. Le petit déjeuner est très bien et la carte du restaurant est tellement alléchante que nous n'avons même pas cherché à dîner ailleurs. Le SPA (partagé avec l'hôtel Alexander à côté) et les soins sont exceptionnels. En plus, nos amis à quatre pattes sont acceptés. Rien. Tout était très bien.

• Jing (10/5): Overall, we are very satisfied with the hotel. - The service of the hotel is spectacular! We have been taken care of for the free transportation between the hotel and Rigi cable car and the port. The breakfast is great. We have seven ppl in the group and they even remember to set a table on patio waiting for us in morning. The host always remind us when the restaurant in the hotel close for dinner and breakfast, so we can get the meals in time. There is a beach club to use for free if you stay in the hotel. There is also a waterfront access belong to the hotel that you can use there paddle board, etc.

• Dora (8/5): Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, wir kommen gerne wieder! - Wir haben uns im Hotel Gerbi sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Die Wellnessoase (Bäder und Saunen, sowie Fitnessraum) konnten kostenlos genutzt werden. Wir hatten das Glück, dass sich, obwohl das Hotel gut besetzt war, nie viele Leute da waren. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hat jeden Wunsch und jedes Anliegen sofort umgesetzt. Herzlichen Dank dafür! Ihr macht alle einen tollen Job! Wir haben gar nichts zu bemängeln!

• Danielle (8/5): Fijn hotel op een mooie locatie!! - Geweldige uitgangsbasis voor deze omgeving! Rustig gelegen, fantastisch uitzicht over het meer. Mooie zwembaden en buiten ook lekker warm! Niets op aan te merken. Personeel ook veelal vriendelijk! Kamer was niet heel schoon, koffiepads zouden iedere dag bijgevuld worden maar werd niet gedaan. De kar stond op de gang dus kon ze zelf wel pakken. Verder vond ik het een beetje gek dat je om 17:00 geen eten kunt bestellen omdat de keuken dan tot 18:00 pauze heeft... gelukkig maar één keer voorgekomen dat we vroeg wouden eten.
• Viktoria (8/5): Schönes Hotel direkt am See - Die Lage am See, das Essen (Frühstück und Abendessen) waren sehr gut. Der Zugang in den See mit Liegen und SUPs war perfekt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Doppelbett war bequem. Das Hallenbad war für einen Regennachmittag sehr gut. Das Zimmer ist leider in die Jahre gekommen, ein Stuhl von zweien auf dem Balkon war kaputt. Der Vorhang ist beim Zuziehen immer aus der Schiene gefallen, haben wir selbst dann immer eingehängt. Das Zimmer war anfangs sehr staubig, wurde aber nach unserer Bitte nochmal gesaugt. Das Bett für unsere Tochter war leider sehr unkomfortabel, auch der Topper hat nur ein wenig Verbesserung gebracht. Das sollte für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie besser sein.

• Anne-frans (8/5): Beautiful spa, pool and lounging set up plus bonus fitness facility not advertised - Location is good. The spa is expansive and really nice. There is a great pool with lounging area. I was surprised by a nice size fitness facility which was not advertised, which I’ve added a photo for. They did have fans that helped without air conditioning. Staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. The grassy beach connected to the lake is quite small. And the apartments need to be upgraded. They are dark and old. They are not accessible for more elderly family members with steep stairs for sleeping arrangements and no walk in showers, just bathtubs. Found the price for the stay in an outdated apartment too expensive.
• Manss (5/5): Would not stay at this hotel again - We liked the ability to use the bikes. The lower patio area overlooking the lake was nice. Our room was just above the main patio and dining area, which made it noisy and allowed smoke to come in. We had to keep our windows open as there was no air conditioning
• Roya (2/5): Awful - Very primitive facility for the price Would not recommend due to lack of amenities for the cost. Very expensive for the location. Since there is no air conditioning you have to leave windows open and so then you get all the tobacco smoke from the other units and restaurant into your room all day and night along with noise from restaurant too.
• Justyna (1/5): Strongly disappointed - Nice view but this whole place needs a major renovation In the pomo, the lack of air conditioning at 34 degrees is unbearable in the attic room. In the room there were 4 fans that had to go all the time with 4 on, it was impossible to sleep. To turn on the light in the room you need to connect the main lighting to an socket. Cables hang everywhere. Beds and mattresses are a disaster. In the living room on the sofa dog hair. In the bathroom around the bathtub mold. Food hmmm... Owner with a dog barking at customers in the restaurant. I don't know who gives such good reviews but mine is honest as a customer. Strongly disappointed

Expensive but worth it - very comfortable room (we had the family suit - lots of space for all), beautiful location, wonderful pool area with a view of the lake, very friendly and helpful staff. Adding air conditioning to the rooms... Fans added to every room which was helpful, but having air conditioning would be even better
• John (10/5): Absolutely breathtaking and a piece of heaven on Earth! - Food was amazing! Free breakfast is nice. Scenery is out of this world! Most gorgeous place we’ve been and the staff was very kind - including the owners! Spa was awesome and room views were splendid!

• Kenza (9/5): Superb - I have enjoyed my stay , the view is exceptional, my kids did not want to leave. The staff are very nice the owner is very sweet . The rooms are spacious it was perfect and I am definitely going back maybe they need to change the beds or make them more comfortable otherwise

• Verified traveler (8/5): Wir werden (trotzdem) wieder kommen - Die Kellnerin beim Frühstück war jeweils unfreundlich und kurz angebunden. Am 2. Morgen fragte sie uns nicht mehr nach der Eierspeise. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig. Der Sauna- und Spa-Bereich super!
• Eduard (7/5): Amazing location with a super friendly staff - Amazing location, easy to reach and find, nice pools (both inside as well as the outside infinity pool), spacious rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, availabilty of parking spaces (easy access to room straight from underground parking). Pretty outdated; facilities need some refreshes here and there. Value for money can be improved Underground parking might be tight if the car is above compact size.

• Jr (10/5): This was our third stay in Winter. Always a pleasure! - The breakfast buffet was nice, with a variety of hot and cold dishes. The restaurant was superb, though pricey. It’s worth it to splurge a little during the holidays. The staff are all very friendly. The wellness/spa/heated pools are very clean and wonderful. Love the outdoor heated infinity pool.
