- trista (8/5): Great hotel for the price. Quiet location, exceptionally clean. - Functional hotel that exceeded expectations, in a quiet part of resort. Exceptionally clean- bedrooms, public areas and pool. Good size bedrooms with updated bathrooms, lots of towels. Very comfortable bed ( firm) Black out curtains for a good night sleep. Enough storage in the room plus a safe and coffee/ tea making facilities. Breakfast as expected- continental style with enough choice. Hotel not busy when we were there so plenty of available sun loungers but imagine in height of summer this may not be the case. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. Excellent value for money for our 6 night stay. The staff, aside from one at breakfast and one of the cleaning staff we met who were both smiley and chatty, were borderline rude. Not once were we greeted with a smile or a hello. Walked past reception many times without a word from the front of house staff. No welcome, have a nice day, or good bye. On check out the reception staff didn’t even bother asking about our stay or wish us safe travels. Such a shame as the rest of the hotel exceeded expectations.

- cindy (8/5): Fijn hotel op practische locatie - Fijne locatie op loopafstand van strand, winkels etc.. en kamers hebben een goed prijs kwaliteit verhouding, hotel heeft goede faciliteiten en het ontbijt was prima. Het personeel is minder vriendelijk en wat afstandelijk, wat jammer is omdat het ook leek alsof ze er onderling weinig lol in hebben...

- Jose (1/5): - Em primeiro lugar, não conseguimos fazer o check-in devido à fila enorme — ficámos à espera durante 2 horas e, no final, tivemos de sair para procurar outro hotel. O único espaço que vimos foi o lobby, que parecia antigo, desgastado e pouco cuidado. A impressão geral foi bastante negativa e o ambiente não parecia muito saudável ou acolhedor. A minha avaliação é 0.

Las dos veces que he ido no estaba el personal de mantenimiento al que he requerido porque se perdía la señal de internet de la tele y no se podía emitir lo de otros dispositivos (cuando os ocurra esto, desenchufar la TV durante 2 minutos)

Friendly staff. 24hr Reception. Rather thin doors, where you'd probably hear loud guests but it was quiet when I stayed at Hotel Alba. Good breakfast with a great choice of bread some sweet and savoury options. I travelled to Monte Gordo of a Triathlon event and had my bike with me. There was a very small note on Booking.com that Hotel Alba doesn't allow Bikes in the rooms. That I can understand very well but to charge 4 Euro per Bike per night to store it, was a bit much. Also on a sign at reception it said 2 Euro per Bike/Night but that was apparently for bikes that can stay outside (mine was an road bike I'd rather not leave lying around outside) but there were no outside bike racks.. I'd have liked to have a more obvious note for that. The coffee at the breakfast buffet was undrinkable for me.
