Elverding (8/5): - De kamer Het lawaai van de weg dat is net een racebaan wie het hards kan en het meeste lawaai kan naken, en het was een bouwput achter het resort, s'morgens om 5 uur wakker door het werk van een bulldozer. Dat blijft voorlopig ook zo. Het word een soort boulevard. Wij gaan hier niet meer heen.

Julien (4/5): Disappointing unfortunately - Big clean room, welcoming staff Old property, humidity is taking the walls. It’s very close to the main road, with trucks passing all night and a poor isolation, it’s even hard to sleep properly. Sherry on the cake they’re pathway along the beach so even my breakfast at 8am was very noisy with building site engines roaring.

Brendan (4/5): This place is to be avoided - Location is good. But spoiled by heavy machinery. Heavy machinery working around the clock immediately in front of hotel. Noisy. Also rooms are not sound proofed and noisy if someone is in adjoining room. Due to noisy construction work they put me at rear near their staff quarters. The staff woke me up at 0530 as they got up to work - this place is to be avoided.

Le restaurant était bon, l'intérieur de l'hôtel est très joli et très bien aménagé, les bungalows privés sont très confortables. Francky et jeanne Il est vrai qu'un petit coup de nettoyage sur la plage de temps en temps ne fzrait pas de mal, mais d'un coté ce n'est pas leur plage.

Schoon en wat opviel,,de kleine dingetjes die het hem doen, overal mooie bloemetjes neergelegd🥰🪷en bed was groot, schoon en heerlijk en kamer gezellig ingericht. En op gevraagde bord met omelet/ei/toast was onze naam geschreven met sausje ofzo..😄 En heerlijk zitten buiten bij het zwembad met uitzicht over zee aan soort v.lange bar met stopcontacten voior je mobiel lekker zitten daar..👍😉 Ontbijt wat smoezelig,,maar okay

We really enjoyed speaking with Yangtze who worked in the restaurant. Great location on the beach. Swimming pool also overlooked the ocean. The rooms were away from the noisy road; however my room 108, (which I had requested for the second night), as it was an ocean view room, but it was next to the restaurant, and it was very loud on my second night. My bathroom was a bit dated and could use a renovation, compared to a friend’s room (119) who had a modern bathroom.

The traffic noise was quite loud during the night and most of us couldn't sleep. We decided to return to Sanur and cancel the 2nd night, including our reservation for dinner at Vincent's. We were told there were no refunds due to booking with booking.com Lesson learned.

It was a good location with plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance. The attention to detail by the cleaning staff. Left our cups on the outside table for two days leaving us with no cups for tea in the morning. Breakfast was very limited with not a lot of selection wouldn’t recommend getting a room with breakfast included.
cheryl (6/5): Ok for a short stay - Mixed...nice room, nice pool but needs some TLC. Food quite expensive. Nice beach front views but the sea seemed polluted with sewage. Didnt like the live lobster on offer and would've gone elsewhere had I known. Not the best location either...its on the busy main road. Staff are lovely but only 2 rooms occupied was strange, no atmosphere...turns out G Adventures use it so I guess thats why all the rooms were empty.

Simon (10/5): CANDIDASA FEBRUARY 2024 - One of my favourite hotels in the world. The location is perfect with mountains and jungle on one side and coral reef on the other. The rooms are nice and having breakfast overlooking the sea is very special. And the staff are all helpful and super friendly and attentive.

There was some misunderstanding that caused me to change the place but eventually the personnel and management made an effort to look for solutions that in the end satisfied me. So I would say it is really a nice place with very engaged and welcoming people who are there to support. I liked the restaurant a lot: amazing sea view, sunset, good menu where one can find good choices to enjoy. I stayed in Candidasa for 3 weeks and had my meals there quite regularly. Some noisy events. This has been raised to the management, so I believe the hotel will make an effort to improve this point, because the people come to the place to have their rest relaxing and quiet, to enjoy the sounds of nature :)

Everywhere we went we were greeted by a genuine smile (team from front desk, restaurant, ..) May (I am sorry, I am not sure about the spelling of the name) from the Reception was extremely helpful and organized for us an amazing trip to beautiful temples. K. (9/5): Beautiful place with amazing staff - Unbelievably kind and friendly staff, every single person is just so warm and welcoming. The resort is right at the beach with a beautiful view from the restaurant. We went snorkeling, and the boat picked us up at the hotel directly, so it was very convenient - leave your valuables at the hotel though, the ride gets pretty wet 😀 The bed is big and comfortable, and the room is cleaned twice a day. Breakfast and Restaurant are very good and there are also a few nice bars and café just across the street. Due to the road, it is pretty noisy in most of the rooms, but that will be the case for all hotels along the beach, as the road is right next to it.
David (8/5): Lovely Hotel near the beach and with lovely rooms near the pool and ocean. Top location - Location is good. It’s on the ocean and has a nice clean swimming pool which is well maintained. Meals at the restaurant are ordinary so we didn’t eat there much. Rooms are pretty good and the location is quiet if you get a pool or ocean view room or one of the superior rooms well behind reception. Our first nights were in one closer to the road and there’s heaps of road noise all night. Staff are lovely and they’re all helpful. Lovely hotel and I’ve stayed here 2 times now whilst visiting Candidasa. Staff even washed my hire car for me as a courtesy without me even asking. They did this last time I was there also. It must be just a nice thing they do for customers Road noise in rooms closer to the road. Ones toward the ocean and ones nestled behind reception are quiet.

Alex (8/5): Affordable Paradise. - Staff were very friendly. Restaurant is brilliant. Location is awesome. Sound proofing in rooms is very poor. You can hear guests next door like they are in your room.
robert (10/5): - This was our favourite place we stayed at during our family holiday in Bali. All the staff were amazing and made us feel so welcome and they couldnt of done more for us. Beautiful views out to sea from the restaruant and bungalows.

Mandy (8/5): A really nice Hotel, would stay again - The Staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, they were very attentive and pleasant and helpfull at all times. The food was great and plenty of choice for me but not so much for a vegetarians (but thats the same all over Bali) The room was a good size and the shower was hot at all times. The pool area was not huge with only room for a few sunbeds, but dont think its that kind of hotel.

Mary (10/5): Exceptional - The service from beginning to end was excellent. I upgraded my room which looked over the pool out to sea. The room was spacious , beds comfortable, tea, coffee etc available. There was entertainment in the restaurant in the evenings. The food was excellent. No hairdryer.
Lisa (10/5): Impeccable service! - From the warm welcome to being waved goodbye by staff, this place is all about the service (and beautiful beachfront location too!). They addressed us by name and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. Shining example of great service. Room was clean, has AC/fan and mini bar fridge. The lower mark for eco friendliness was due to some of the garbage on the beach and pier - but the staff went out to do a clean up on our last day there. I highly recommend Ashyana and would absolutely return again.

Geoffrey (8/5): Great stay at beach. - Great location right on the beach. Our room overlooked the pool and ocean. We turned the aircon fan down low so we could hear sound of the waves at night which we found relaxing. Room rate did not include breakfast. Food at restaurant was a bit expensive by Bali standards but staff were very friendly and helpful.
