• David (9/5): - Chambres d'hôtes situées en plein centre ville, à proximité des lieux à visiter. Le propriétaire est très accueillant. Le quartier est assez calme. Petit bémol, la climatisation d’une des deux chambres que nous avions réservées etait en panne. Pas de chance, mais la réparation etait prévue dans les jours suivants.
• Maya (10/5): Beautiful and homey - My room was bigger than expected and had lots of floor space. The bed came with 2 pillows and a nice big blanket. I was in a fan room and at night it was cool enough to sleep comfortably. The lobby/communal area is very cute. Lots of indoor plants and seating options, including some that look out onto the street below. Cold/hot drinking water is available in the kitchen, as well as dishware, tea, coffee, and milo (i think, it wasn't labeled). The owner is very kind and helpful. He gave me some homemade chocolate cheesecake that was delicious! The two hostel cats are very playful and affectionate.

• Manuel (8/5): Se justifica precio calidad. - Era cómodo! El aire acondicionado funcionaba bien, y la cama también era cómoda. Sumaba que tenga filtro con agua fría y caliente, además había café y té para tomar en cualquier momento. El baño estaba sucio! Con mucha humedad y moho en las paredes. No cuesta mucho limpiar con un poco de lavandina. Por otro lado en los espacios comunes hace mucho calor.

Le temps a passé l'auberge se dégrade petit à petit, il y a également des chats donc une légère odeur malgré le ménage. Attention il y a également des chambres sans fenêtre . Et pour ma part une incompatibilité complète avec l'homme très mielleux et mauvais... C'est assez bien placé mais pas vraiment dans le centre il vaut mieux habiter dans le quartier chinois qui est très sympa sinon j'ai beaucoup apprécié Malacca

• David (6/5): It's alright for a night - The room was nice and the bed was large. The A/C worked great. The common area was cool too. It was too close to the bazar market there. You could hear karaoke and fireworks until 2 am. The bathrooms were not the greatest, not very clean and didn't even have lights in them.

• Chloé (6/5): Simple mais efficace - Bien placé, l’hôte était adorable et nous a bien expliqué comment ça se passait dans ce logement. Il y a deux petits chats adorables et très curieux ! La salle de bain est vétuste (on s’y attendait) et mérite des travaux mais ça le fait quand même pour quelques nuits. La clim dans la chambre fonctionne et le lit est correct pour quelques nuits. Cependant, pendant le Ramandan il y a beaucoup de bruits dans la rue jusqu’a tard ça peut gêner certains mais on arrive à s’endormir quand même !

• Thaïs (7/5): Well located, good quality/price ratio - Good location and friendly staff. Single room was spacious and had a lot of natural light. Common area nicely decorated and welcoming. Complimentary cold and hot water, and shared fridge. Very friendly cat. The AC “worked” but did not really cool down anything. Not a big issue for me, as I could open the windows and the fan did a good job with that. I find it a bit complicated to have the toilet paper and the bin outside of the toilet, and it would be nice to have more hooks or a basket in the shower and to put personal stuff while showering.
• Asif (7/5): This place needs major reno and improvements - Close to Joker street, cheaper than most hotels. Too loud, noise until 2am from locals yelling, and vehicles. Windows not sound proof. Toilets are a wet puddle mess, why force people to wear the same sandals and get toe fungus? Shower not big enough, might as well sit on the toilet while showering. I can feel the bed springs. Pillows too thin, ppl slamming doors, blankets not enough. Not a single element in kitchen to even boil an egg. Needs major improvements. The only nice thing about this place was the kind gentleman at front desk.

• Vivien (10/5): Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt im gemütlichen Hostel - Der Host war extrem nett und freundlich:) Es gab gratis Wasser und Kaffee in der Unterkunft. Die Klimaanlage hat super funktioniert und die Lage des Hostels war top. Gerne empfehle ich es weiter!:)
• Giulia (9/5): Accoglienza eccellente e buona posizione - Spazi comuni accoglienti e curati, ma soprattutto Anuar è simpaticissimo, gentile ed estremamente disponibile per qualsiasi necessità e per condividere dei consigli su Melaka e non solo. La sua presenza è un grande valore aggiunto! Camera spaziosa e luminosa. La cucina ha il dispenser di acqua calda e fredda, caffè, zucchero e the sempre a disposizione, stoviglie, microonde, tostapane e frigo. La posizione è ottima perché vicina al centro ma abbastanza defilata, quindi più tranquilla. Proprio sotto ci sono dei ristoranti aperti anche fino a molto tardi e un mini market. A due passi c’è anche una lavanderia aperta 24/24 e nell’alloggio c’è una stanza soleggiata dove poter stendere i panni. Se dovessi tornare a Melaka saprei certamente dove andare, tornerei volentieri! Se posso dare due piccoli consigli, suggerirei di mettere lo shampoo a disposizione (c’è solo il bagnoschiuma) e di aggiungere il rotolo di carta igienica anche all’interno dei bagni (è presente solo subito fuori dalla porta). Comunque siamo stati benissimo!

• Lukas (10/5): - The guesthouse is located very close to the night markets and the center. Also there are plenty of food options around, the guesthouse has a well equipped common area and two very cute cats. However, especially the host made our stay fabulous. He was very caring, chatted a lot with us and even taught us how to play Congkak. AC would have been nice but there was a ceiling fan in the room.

• George (10/5): Very good value for money! - Clean and comfortable stay in melacca. The property is located a short walk from Dutch square and is near local eateries. Bright and comfortable communal area to meet other travellers or sit down and do some work. My room didn’t have a window, but it was fine for a short stay. Good AC, clean and comfortable beds. The hair Anuar is lovely. Very chatty and kind and made me feel right at home :) if I’m ever in melacca I’ll be staying here! My room didn’t have a window, but it was fine for a short stay.

Una cama, una mesa y una silla y un mini-espejo, las cortinas no impiden el paso de la luz (recomendable usar antifaz). La manta de la cama era de Malaysia Airlines y las almohadas no demasiado cómodas. No conseguí ducharme con agua caliente y los gatos del dueño destrozaron mis chanclas con sus uñas (hay que dejar los zapatos al entrar ya que no se puede usar calzado en el interior).
