• Mary (7/5): We had a nice stay here, next time I will choose a more lively place closer to the boardwalk. - The motel itself was nice, clean and functional. The location is very close to beach access. Let's put it this way, this motel is wonderful, if you are a retired couple. As far as being an active family, it leaves room for improvement. My mother and sister decided to drive down and last minute wanted to stay the night. They were not allowed onto the property to see it could accommodate my baby nephew. We aren't the partying crowd, so for a grandma, mom and baby to be turned away was off putting. They wound up at a motel closer to the boardwalk for 100.00 cheaper. Again this is a very nice motel for a retired couple who want to be left alone.
• Tara (10/5): It was a pleasant stay and I would stay again. - It was clean, comfortable and affordable. The location and beach view is great, the Jitney and tramcar are very close if you don’t want to walk 20 minutes to the heart of the boardwalk. Minor things.. I wish the shower head was detachable and the wall unit air conditioner was noisy and leaked onto the porch which made it slippery if you weren’t paying attention.

I found the two people I encountered (that worked there) to be friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again if I visit that area. The proximity to what I wanted to do.

• Wally (2/5): Horrible - There was no breakfast The room wasn't the one I booked , my girlfriend went to the desk to request a few extra pillows and the owner Chris freaked out and told us he was throwing us out and was calling the cops , all this within the first half hour of our arrival , the room we booked was 2 beds , the one we actually got was one single, never again will we stay here , and judging by past reviews, he does this to a lot of guests !!

• Yamileth (8/5): - The rooms and bathrooms were clean. John, the front desk person and the cleaning people were nice and attentive. The kitchen was very small but had everything we needed to make simple meals. I think the pots need replacement. Some of them were scratched and I did not feel comfortable cooking in them.
• Kathleen (7/5): Good Ok our family came and picked up most days so it was OK> - Small hotel and pool--1 block to the beach Older hotel, toilet and tub from the 80's and outside shower not enclosed. For $250 a night I expected a little more. Also on Saturday night the neighbor was playing music loud at 3am and I had to request they stop smoking and playing music outside.

The pool had limited space but was kept meticulously clean. The t.v. was limited as far as shows to entertain or occupy children during rainy days.

• Victoria (8/5): Great stay, great location - The property is in a great location, 5 min walk to the beach and boardwalk. It’s quiet and family friendly. Parking on site is free. The decor in the room is a bit tired. Doesn’t take away from your experience though. Would also be great to have hairdryers in the room.

• Marie-Pier (6/5): Typique d'un motel de destination mer de cette région - Chambre avec cuisinette équipée minimalement, mais suffisant pour pouvoir cuisiner et ne pas toujours aller au restaurant. L'endroit était tranquille, pas beaucoup de chambres louées. Bon emplacement près de la plage et à distance de marche du board walk. En entrant dans la chambre, il y avait plusieurs mouches à fruits présentes dans le logement. J'ai dû composer avec cela tout mon séjour, en essayant de les éradiquer. Le lit n'était pas très confortable.

• Stephanie (8/5): Cute place in close proximity to beach and boardwalk - Cute place! I had a room with one bed and a kitchenette, which was more than enough for a solo traveller. There was a table with two chairs as well as two more simple arm chairs, a dresser, and an area to hang clothes. The curtains and shades were effective in blocking light at night and offered privacy. The bed was average but comfortable enough. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of fresh towels, soap, and shampoo, and water pressure was good. The property is a three-minute walk to the beach and there was a bike rental close by. Everything was great and I had a nice stay. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant and made me feel welcomed. I'll stay here again! The small pool area is nice and the palm trees add a fun touch, but since my room was directly overlooking the pool, I could hear kids screaming and being rowdy until it closed at 10:30pm. I was thankful when they all went to bed. I didn't like how other guests hung their wet towels, shirts and bathing suits all over the railings, not only by their own room, but in front of mine as well. It's really not a good look, and at other places where I've stayed there is a policy against doing this. Room needs a bedside table as there was nothing to put my phone, coffee mug, or glasses on. More art on the walls as they were somewhat bare.

• Scott (8/5): Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I just wish the A/C wasn't so loud. - The front desk staff was very pleasant and made me feel welcome. The location was great, just a block from the boardwalk. It was a quick walk to the beach. When I first arrived, I saw a sign on the door: "Do not enter unless you have the 4-digit PIN that was emailed to you." Since I only booked my room the night before (through booking.com), I didn't receive this PIN. The front desk staff told me I need it to register. Initially, I didn't know what I was going to do, but they cleared it up. The only other thing I didn't like was the VERY loud air conditioner. I had a very difficult time falling asleep because of the noise. I'm sure this was because I'm used to a quiet house. If I had stayed more than one night, I'm sure I would have gotten used to the noise.

Place to rinse off after beach. Coffee maker in room and air condition was excellent. $100 in cash security deposit for sand in the room. I did get it back but it seemed unnecessary for the price and size of the room. The pool is small and parking is tight. No ice machine.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Decent property, strange “rules” - The room was great for us because of the living room and kitchen. It was clean and housekeeping came daily. Parking is rough. The downfall was the strange overbearing communication from the property. AFTER you book a non refundable stay, you get sent a message from the property saying you must text them your email address. They send a list of rules 2.5 hours before check in and you are not allowed to check until you agree to them and give some 4 digit code they send you. I’ve never experienced that. You have to give a $100 cash deposit at check in as well. They text your phone at 9:37 pm a very lengthy reminder of “rules” and quiet hours. It felt very overbearing and unsettling and h you feel like you are being watched the entire time- even if you aren’t doing anything wrong, just enjoying a trip with your family. The beds and pillows are rock hard. The location is great.

The bathroom door wouldn't close and stay closed. The chair at the table was loose, it wobbled. Two grills, only one was in working order. Bed would rattle when you rolled over at night in it. Lap fixture was broken.

• Amanda (8/5): Nice stay; would consider staying again. - The room had a fully equipped kitchen, and they provided dish soap, a few dishes, and utensils. The room was a decent size, with a living room and a dining area, and the bedroom was also a decent size. There were also chairs outside for us to sit and listen to the ocean or hang our bathing suits to dry. It was a nice property. The pool was nice and open late, so you could go for a swim after the sun had set. We walked straight from the property to the beach, which was amazing. They even had a heated outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. There are, to my knowledge, no elevators; so, if you were on the third floor like us and were lugging the stuff we were, it could be a bit precarious. However, we managed, so you most likely will. Not really a strike against the property, just something to consider. The beds were a bit firm, but it wasn't a problem for me and my crew. However, I know that firm beds are not everyone's cup of tea.

Parking is really tight in their dedicated spaces, but space is at a premium everywhere down here. They provided plenty of coffee pods which was very sweet.
