We enjoyed the hot tube as well as this is very nice option to use...also the food in restaurant is great, unfortunately very, very expensive... The staff at the reception is with no smile, they look they are boring unless they didn´t have so much to do...restaurant offers really great and tasty food, but prices are really high - commented also from our neighbours...
• Kirsty (8/5): Second time staying at Dolphin Cove and would highly recommend! - I thoroughly enjoyed the space of the 1 bedroom apartment as well as the utensils provided such as microwave oven, stove and fridge. Additionally I liked the jacuzzi facility at the hotel and the gym which were in tip top condition. The bathrooms could be upgraded to be slightly bigger and better water pressure for the shower. But this is only minor points. Everything was truly great

• Marco (9/5): Ich hatte eine schöne Zeit - Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Mir hat die Ruhe in der Anlage sehr gefallen. Das Apartment war angenehm groß und gut ausgestattet, die Internetverbindung zuverlässig und schnell. Die Anlage liegt etwas abseits, doch man kann direkt im Hotel ein Auto mieten, was ich sehr vorteilhaft fand. Der Strand ist fußläufig erreichbar. Auch das Gym ist gut ausgestattet, und die gesamte Anlage wirkte gepflegt. Im Restaurant war das Personal durchweg freundlich, zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und aufgeschlossen. Die Qualität der Speisen war ausgezeichnet, den Preis wert und fügte sich stimmig in das positive Gesamtbild des Hauses ein. Generell gibt es hier nichts zu bemängeln. Vielleicht nur eine kleine Anregung: Beim Reinigungspersonal könnte ein fester Standard eingeführt werden, was genau gereinigt werden soll – mal wurde gewischt, mal nicht. Positiv überrascht hat mich jedoch, dass sogar die benutzten Küchenutensilien mitgereinigt wurden.

And she was very helpful and welcoming:) The front desk staff was extremely unprofessional. Her name is KIM. With a pair of glasses. Not only did she show a bad attitude, but they also lied about the hotel’s occupancy. We confronted her when we did check out, she said was misunderstanding…This kind of behavior is unacceptable and made the stay very disappointing

We were disappointed as the location is secluded and there are no other food options available in the area. Lack of food options in the area the restaurant was closed for Lunch and breakfast after our 1st day. Need to fog/spray for mosquitoes. We found while walking around the premise's there were a lot of mosquitoes.

Given the layout, someone should definitely walk you to your room as the check in entrance is different to the room entrances.

• Anthony (4/5): - I stayed at this location it appeared to be a new construction which I was pleased with which was actually the disappointing part because when I checked in, and came back from dinner the power was out. A property that nice should have had a back up generator. The floor in the bedroom was also partially flooded when I woke up in the morning. When I went to check out I was not compensated in anyway after expressing my displeasure. Not even as much as a complimentary breakfast for my inconvenience. I would not recommend.

• Venessa (8/5): - This is my 5th stay. I like the location and it’s quite calm and peaceful. My dislike the automatic gate wasn’t working. Other than that it’s always a pleasant stay and I’m always greeted with a bottle of wine on the kitchen counter.

Overall the property is peaceful and very well maintained. Only issue was the gate was open the entire time which is not a big deal but I did expect it to be closed at some point for that extra security. Also Expedia mentions a complimentary bottle of wine would be received but I only received complimentary water. Also not a big deal.

In addition I had my bisycle there.They had no facilities to keep a bike safe.I was forced to carry my bike to the 3 floor and not even alowd to keep it out side the door but to further carry it trough my room to my own balcony.This definatly soured my stay there.Please buy a bike rack as its an easy fix

• Graham (8/5): Stressful Vacation. - We liked the fact it was an apartment. The gym was well equipped. A relaxed atmosphere. The staff we're pleasant and polite. The first apartment was poorly equipped with cooking utensils. We liked to cook our breakfast daily. Although we requested 1st floor 3 months in advance none were available. Washing machine and ice machine in freezer not working. Only 1 bedside table lamp. No plugs in any of the basins and bathtubs. Toilet seat moved 3" each way. Drawer front in kitchen fell off on first use. Pool cold. Toilet rolls limited. After complaining we were given another apartment on 1st floor and well looked after. Our original apt should not have been available for occupation. The first week of our 3 weeks vacation were very stressful.

• Francesca (9/5): Lovely stay in romantic setting - Everything was great. We stayed in the 1-bedroom villa on the ground floor and had absolutely no issues there. I was terrified about the idea of cockroaches but there was none, I want to flag this as a positive cause in islands like these, you never know. The flat was spacious, clean and had all we needed. The staff was polite and available, I asked for some extra shampoo and conditioner in the reception and it was provided promptly. The view was so nice, and we even used the pool, it is cleaned daily and has a very good space to chill with sunbeds etc. There was so many towels in the bathroom, changed daily, I loved that. Housekeeping staff was friendly and professional, we felt welcome. We rented a car and parking was free and inside the structure (i.e. not parked in the street). All went fine. I just want to write a couple of point for improvement / recommendations, but this is minor and it’s more for people to be aware of what to avoid, so that you are not “milked” as it happens often in touristic places. - The hotel has a car rental service, which is convenient but quite pricy. We were given a daily rate of about 200$ incl. insurance, which we found absurd. We rented via Avis (at the airport) and paid way less, about 120$ incl. insurance. - The restaurant of the hotel is really good, but we weren’t thrilled about the service. Everybody was nice, but we really had the feeling of being walking wallets. No need to try so hard to sell. We walked in, restaurant literally empty (only 1 family dining there) as it was already 20:30. The waiter goes “do you have a reservation?”, I think they wanted to give a professional/ fancy/ gourmet sort of vibe. Until here, all good. I gave my name and we were asked to wait so that the table could be set outside (I asked for that as there was like 15 degrees Celsius inside, they kindly accommodated us). Then they gave us the drink list and literally 1 minute later they were asking us what cocktail we wanted. We got it, and 1 minute later we got the table. I mean, maybe it’s me and I don’t get it, but what was the point of that? If they table is ready in literally 2 minutes, just let us look at the wine and cocktail list and then we can order directly at the table… it was a strong tentative in getting everything us to consume 2 drinks per person, I found it quite obvious. And again I understand that people want to make profits, but it was just so obvious… Finally, at the end, when we handed the credit card to the waiter, he put it in the machine and literally whispered to his colleague “finish this off” and walked away. Like, hello? Not very convivial. Food quality is very high though, so if you don’t care about the high prices and like the fancy vibes, then this is the place for you.
• Karen Joy (8/5): - Very quiet and peaceful which is what we wanted! There were a few small improvements I would have liked, like a toasty hot hot tub open past 7 pm and a good thorough mopping of unit floors, but otherwise the facilities were nice, the kitchen made self-catering easy, laundry facilities convenient, and the staff could not have been kinder and more friendly. Be aware that you definitely will want to rent a car, and can easily do so from the property.
