The building’s acoustic is terrible that you can hear all sorts of noises outside and within the hostel. If you are a light sleeper, this hostel may not be the best fit. Also, the staff are not friendly or hospitable.

• Barka (10/5): - I had a really great stay at The Central House Istanbul. The hostel was very clean, comfortable, and well organized. The staff were friendly, helpful, and treated guests very well. The location is perfect — very close to Istiklal Street, public transport, restaurants, and many tourist attractions. I felt safe and enjoyed the atmosphere a lot. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Istanbul. 👍

Whenever I go to Istanbul, I usually stay at another hotel, Center House Istanbul Galata, but since it’s currently closed, I decided to try the Taksim one—and I didn’t regret it at all, I was also happy to find the same person at the reception as in the other hotel. He always treats us very kindly. Unfortunately, I didn’t ask for his name, but I will definitely do next time when I return.

Good price/quality ratio I was very late because my flight delayed, so I arrived in central Istanbul around midnight but the location was incorrect because of renovation works in the building, I had to take another taxi to the correct location.

• LAMRINI (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay at The Central House Istanbul Taksim. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Taksim Square and Istiklal Street, which makes it very easy to explore the city and access public transportation. The hostel is clean, modern, and very well organized. The rooms are comfortable and the facilities are well maintained, which made my stay very pleasant. A special thank you to the staff at the reception, especially Ahmed and his colleagues Matt, as well as the housekeeping team. They were all very friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Their kindness and positive attitude really made my stay even better. And of course, a special thanks to the white cat of the hostel. She sits there quietly like the real manager of the place. I’m pretty sure she knows everything that happens here… but don’t worry, she keeps all the secrets 😅 Overall, it’s a great place for travelers looking for a comfortable, friendly, and well-located stay in Istanbul. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

• William (10/5): On s’y sent comme dans un hôtel - Un hostel très pro. On s’y sent comme dans un hôtel. Je suis même resté plus longtemps et j’ai pu changer de chambre. Il faut être prêt à marcher environ 5-10 pour arriver jusqu’à la station de métro de taksim. Le rooftop était fermé.

• TheBackpacker (8/5): Good hostel near Taksim Square - I stayed here just for a night. What i liked about it is that it's very near the airport shuttle bus station and the famous istiklal street in Taksim area. The staff were cool and friendly. The bed light maybe, it's a little dim for me.

My room was close to the stairs and it can be loud sometimes at night, but usually quietens later! The bathroom opposite of my room almost always ran out of toilet paper by the morning - might need to restock more often

• Theocharis (10/5): - The Hostel it was very near to the center and very clean. The persons in the reception was very friendly and give us a lot information.
• MICHAEL (10/5): Enjoyable, clean and perfectly located, gives you all you need in a wonderful city. - Staff are exceptional, location is perfect to explore the city, the room and bed is very comfortable and spacious, the breakfast is a great bonus and a perfect way to start the day, the lady greets you with a big smile and a very warm attitude, lovely, the Guys on reception are very open and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, helped me with my night time boarding pass, very genuine communication skills, keep up the good work, i will be back.
