- Gail (9/5): - Very spacious The late check in at 4pm
- Alicia (10/5): Excellent place to stay. - Place was cooled down with AC
Wifi
Roku TV with Netflix
Walking distance to the beach No water bottles
- Gerry (8/5): - I was pleasantly surprised at extras - toaster, plates & cutlery. The log cabin type build keep it cool during the day while still staying relatively warm at night.
- Mizuka (9/5): -
- Pradeep (9/5): -

- Nimmy (7/5): - location was good cleanliness. didn't clean well from previous guests.
- Sana (10/5): -
- Beth (7/5): Good - Location was awesome. It was very clean but lacked a kitchen area with a sink. No kitchen sink to do dishes
- Libin (7/5): -
- Hines (10/5): Had a great night - Nice and cozy Nothing!
- Pradip (9/5): Good place to rest after the drive. - Rustic clean and quiet place on Cabot trail. Fully equipped. Nothing
- Williams (9/5): -
- Rajasekhar (10/5): Great little retreat - Well equipped, pretty cottages in a camp like setting. Beach was beautiful as well and the nearby restaurant was great. Nothing significant.
- Enalpe (8/5): Nice stay - Complete amenities per chalet Somewhat dim/dark at night, not enough lightings, water in washroom slight pressure only,
- Boots (10/5): -
- Prachi (1/5): Not Worth. - The rooms were not clean — there were hair and mascara stains on the bedsheets and pillow covers. No one answered our calls, and we didn’t receive any call back even after leaving a detailed voicemail. Thankfully, there were extra bedding available, so we changed the sheets ourselves. Also, the “private beach” mentioned in the listing is actually on someone else’s property and was closed to public access.
- Gilbert (10/5): Relaxing and cozy - The beds were comfortable. The livingroom was very nice to relax in with the very comfortable recliner and nice electric fireplace.
- lynch (8/5): Great spot to stay on Cabot Trail! - Beautiful location, clean and very cozy. Quiet and peaceful. Easy check-in/ check out. We especially loved the beach access. We were only there for one night and realized later evening we had no hot water but felt it was too late to let them know. Left early the next morning and sent a quick message to property owners to advise them of the water problem. We had already left but didn’t get a response so hoping the next guests didn’t have the same issue.
- Josephine (10/5): Hands down, the best! - We were not really looking for a log cabin experience. Nevertheless, when we found Ingonish Chalets, we were smitten. Ingonish Chalets delivered by giving us a beautiful experience, meeting our every expectation. The interior design was comfortable and fresh. We enjoyed the soft beds and clean amenities. The location was excellent and private. It was cat friendly, even though we didn't bring ours in the end. There was no plug for the bathtub and no igniter for the barbecue.
- Paula (7/5): - Just what we needed for the night.
- Frank (7/5): Average - Nice and clean No hot water
- Prashanth Bala (8/5): Overall we enjoyed the stay and it was quite and warm. We were provided with Cottages that were lit - Overall we enjoyed the stay and it was quite and warm. We were provided with Cottages that were little inside, so free from any kind of city or street traffic or people nice. We had quite nights :-) The Bathroom Door Locks were confusing and I would ending up waking every friend and family in the cottage, due to it getting stuck or works the opposite way or something. Yeah, the unlock the opposite, but it used to take a while to open and pull the door causing a few minutes of frustration for every one.
- Anand (8/5): - Location Door lock was not in good condition. Also, there should be signs which says where to collect the keys from.
Patio cleaning was not good.
- Jennifer (9/5): -
- Jon (8/5): -
- Hanly (8/5): Lovely location which is close to the national park. - The location. Poor kitchenette facilities.
- Yvonne (5/5): - Good location and easy check in Dark cabin, no kitchen even though this was listed in the booking.
- Mary Helen (9/5): Beautiful - Great location to beautiful beach

- koivu1111 (10/5): -
- Arora (10/5): -
- Nicole (9/5): Lovely place to stay - Beautiful location and cozy accommodations
- Devin (10/5): - Love the log cabin feeling, you can smell wood when you walk in which adds a nice feel to the place, it has such a cozy vibe inside.
Bed was very comfortable, cozy living room to sit back and watch some television, plus the location is beautiful, and convenient. Should be a sign upon pulling in that says "office" or "check in"
- Cathy (9/5): -
- Konstantin (8/5): -
- Susan (10/5): -
- Curtiss (7/5): Fair value -
- Stephanie (10/5): - Great spot to stay - no complaints. Great location for travelling the trail.
- Leanne (9/5): Lovely spot. Would return - Location
- Brian (10/5): -
- Lucy (10/5): - The cottage was roomy and clean, beds nice and comfortable
- Proudfoot (8/5): - Convenient location. Nice decor. Close to all we needed. The beach was a bonus Morning noise from other guests I'm motel. Started at 6am. Mainly just their walking with noisy shoes on wood floors
- Terese (8/5): - Clean and comfortable.
- Patric J (8/5): Great place, great facility - We made our own breakfast and the kitchen was well equipped. It was a comfortable place. Small tv with really bad audio
- Monica (9/5): The location was great for us and the unit was spacious. - Location. Roomy. The one bedroom units are in a ‘motel’ type of a building. The walls between the units are very thin and we could hear the other guests talking, coughing/hacking and other activities which was disruptive. The futon in our unit was broken.
- Terry (7/5): -
- Colton (9/5): Good time, clean and pretty, would recommend - Very clean and the wood cabins are great, the tall ceilings were very nice too, good value The only thing was that the heater kicked on at 6 in the morning and made a loud and inconsistent buzzing sound
- John (7/5): - Neat and clean No A/C
- Marie-Jeanne (8/5): -
- Charlotte (7/5): Dissappointing compared to what we stayed in at Cheticamp the previous night for less cost. - The TV did not work. This was significant as a particular show was to be watched that occurs only once a year.
It was not our fault or problem.
It would be nicer to have a real person meet , greet, and send us on our way.Lovely site and location.
- Bridget (8/5): -
- Rebecca (10/5): We had cabin #18 in the back. It was fabulous! - Our cabin #18 was absolutely perfect. Quiet, peaceful, clean and very spacious. The front porch had great seating and a grill and the kitchen was very well equipped. Wish we could stay longer! Nothing
- Lynn (10/5): We would recommend and go back to this location. - We loved the rustic feel of the room. It had all the amenities.
- Trideep (7/5): -
- Cynthia (9/5): -
- Murray (10/5): -
- James (6/5): - The chalets are old, needing maintenance & attention. The beach was spectacular, all and all okay.
- Robert L. (10/5): - Nice rustic chalet, clean and good private beach access to a semi private beach. Could use some minor maintenance in our unit. Area is very quiet.
- Patricia (10/5): - Beautiful cabin, had everything we needed.
We had some trouble with the kerig maker, but figured it out.
Definitely would rent again.
- carla (6/5): - Clean and quiet, well stocked, unfortunately the seating area was insufficient and very uncomfortable. There needs to be deeper cleaning of wooden walls ie...dust, cobwebs. Everything else was clean. More dish cloths, towels needed.
- Catherine (9/5): Great value, lovely setting - Location, clean & comfortable No coffee maker that worked; limited restaurant options, although may be time of year.
- Leanna (7/5): Very small unit ok for 1 night, but communication with guests and on property needs improvement. - Comfortable bed and high ceilings kept this small facility from feeling quite so small. Floor was soaking wet upon arrival at 4:50 pm, as if it had a bucket of water thrown upon it, rather than damp-mopped-cleaned. No contact with property owner,/manager, rather key was left in an envelope with my name in an insecure mailbox. It included directions on how to get to the lake, but we attempted twice - once on foot, once by car, and couldn't find it. Better directions/signage is a must.
- Cindy (6/5): Cabin near the Cabot Trail - This place was, in a word, okay. Not great, not awful. We stayed in a 1-bedroom cabin. The furnishings were tired and outdated but clean. The location was good - close to the Cabot Trail. Would I stay there again? Probably not.
- Ripjeet (10/5): -
- jay (9/5): - No breakfast, good location. The chalets were very nice and pretty inside!
- Patricia (8/5): - Bed, bathroom, kitchen, front porch, location Smoke alarm went off when the oven was heated.
- Loren (8/5): Convenient, good value, comfortable beds, quiet and dark for a good night’s sleep, wonderful path through woods to beach - It was very clean. The beach access was a great bonus. We were able to fix our own breakfast there before we left. Plenty of towels, bedding, supplies, etc. The lighting was too glaring. There wasn’t really a suitable space to clean the dishes.
- Richard (10/5): - Lovely cottage in the woods.
- Corinna (9/5): Great place to stay at Ingonish - Nice comfortable chalet, coffee maker, toaster and water kettle in room. Easy check in and check out. Short distance to town (by car) and short walk down to the beach.
- Kristy (9/5): - Lots of space and nice to have all the amenities. Clean.
- malcolm (9/5): - Location and property helped for a great stay Nil
- Sandra (8/5): - Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig. Das Schlafzimmer ist sehr gemütlich. Nichts.
- John (10/5): -
- Naz (8/5): Nice! - They accommodated an early check in for me
Thank you! Water bottles in the room would have been a great bonus!
- Manfred (8/5): -
- Claude HAINEAULT (4/5): - inconfort
- Grosch (10/5): -
- Joanna (10/5): -
- Melinda (9/5): - Comfortable furniture, very clean, had everything we needed for our stay, ample towels and pillows!
- Henriette (8/5): -
- Alberto (10/5): -
- Leanne (8/5): All good. Couldn’t rate the staff as there was no interaction with staff as it was a contactless check in and checkout - Lots of space, quiet, lots of extra towels and loved that there was composting and recycling bins with full list of what goes in each. The walk to the beach was a bit tricky and the stairs to the beach were hard to manage.
- MATOUSEVICH (10/5): -
- Melissa (8/5): - Convenient location, easy check in/out, comfortable bed, beautiful, clean room. Noisy neighbors. Thank goodness I brought earplugs! Next time I would try to get one of the cabins instead of the "motel". The futon wasn't very comfortable (they never are).
- Jill (10/5): - Was very quiet and in a beautiful place. Close to nice beaches etc
- Kenny (10/5): - Loved it!! Very nice little hide away! ❤️
- Keirstead (8/5): Lovely and relaxing - the chalet was very clean, comfortable bed and had all needed supplies. there was apmple space, excellent really and the grounds were lovely and clean. On the whole, the place was great except for two issues I will mention below and I would recommend this place to others. I realize we only stayed one night but there was only half a roll of toilet paper and it would have been better if there was either a new roll or a spare in case a situation arose where more was needed, as we did not bring any paper with us. Also I had planned to make tea but noticed the kettle was dirty on the bottom and didn't feel like cleaning it as was tired, I would have been nice to have had a clean kettle as I expected to enjoy a cup of tea.
