Bel accueil par les deux propriétaires de langues françaises, tout est beau et de bon goût, propre et chambre très fonctionnelle même pour une personne en fauteuil roulant, dont je suis. Belle piscine, super belle zone ombragée pour les déjeuners qui chaque matin était excellent. Endroit charmant que je recommande à quiconque veut passer un beau séjour de qq jours. Comme l'endroit est super accessible pour une personne en fauteuil roulant, peut-être prévoir s'équiper d'un vrai banc de douche pour personne handicapée, au moins pour une chambre. Actuellement une chaise extérieur en plastic a été positionné pour m'accommoder, cela a été apprécié.

Notre chambre était spacieuse, très propre avec une terrasse bien appréciable. Végétation luxuriante, la piscine super appréciée. Quant à l'équipe : ils sont tous très gentils et très aimables. Merci à Charles, Stéphane et Janely pour leur accueil et leurs conseils. Si nous revenons à Tulum ce sera très certainement dans cet établissement. Absolument rien !

Le logement est situé à une 15 de minutes à pied du centre et à 2 km de la plage (nous avions une voiture de location). Supermarché et bonnes adresses pour se restaurer juste à côté. Les propriétaires fabriquent du miel, nous avons eu la chance de le discuter, un délice. Nous remercions Stéphane et Charly, ainsi que toute l'équipe pour leur accueil et recommandons fortement.

Peut-être excentré mais aucun problème pour trouver des bons restaus à proximité à pied et finalement bien placé pour ce qui est à faire en voiture.

Unser Zimmer war groß und das Bett sehr bequem. Die Managerin war sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit, überhaupt war das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Angenehme und entspannte Atmosphäre. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und können es wärmstens empfehlen. Leider kein Fliegennetz an den Fenstern.

Les chambres sont simples mais très agréables et grandes. L'hôtel est situé dans un quartier calme avec un supermarché juste à côté ( l'hôtel propose d'ailleurs une cuisine pour se faire à manger) et beaucoup de restaurants. L'hôtel est excentré mais on n'est pas loin de la plage de tulum en voiture avec accès public celle de pueblo (parking privé en face à 100 pesos ), on peut aller aussi en collectivo aux plages du parc du jaguar ( pas besoin de payer l'entrée au parc archéologique pour y aller si on va à la plage à pied de l'entrée). Janely la gérante nous a bien aidé avec une fiche détaillée avec des recommandations pertinentes (et actualisées! ) notamment des restaurants, appréciables à Tulum qui reste un endroit cher. Bon petit-déjeuner. Ravis de cet hôtel. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la plage (couverte de sargasses) mais cela n'a rien à voir avec l'hôtel. Etre dans cet endroit a compensé cette situation.

Beautiful lush garden, lots of privacy and all you need for the room and the pool. They kindly changed my dates, stored my bag, helped me with travel arrangements and useful tips around Tulum. Rooms are spacious, beds are good, showers hot. Coffee maker in the room and hot/cold water refill available. Really, a great choice! It’s just a little out of main busy road, yet there are plenty of restaurants at walking distance and the advantage to be in a quieter area.

My son loved swinging on the hammock in the middle of the room. The pool was just a few steps from our room and a beautiful little oasis surrounded by flowering trees. Breakfast was delicious and included local honey.

Very nice pool and lounge area in pretty gardens well off the main drag and peaceful. Rental bike locations with five to ten minutes walk. 12 min walk to ADO bus station. An option of slimmer softer pillows would be nice. The pillows are very bulky.

• William (10/5): Don Diego de los Pájaros - Should be called Don Diego de los Pájaros! I did my birdwatching with a cup of coffee at the pool. Imagine a collared aracari in this green oasis in a busy part of Tulum. Hosts were very nice and helpful, for instance with their maps of their favorite restaurants and the best attractions. Breakfast under the thatched roof is wonderful. Hmm... I couldn't figure out the coffee maker in the room but I never got around asking about it. No complaints at all.

Also a fridge and coffee facilities. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. There were a lot of leaves etc in the pool. I still enjoyed it, but would've preferred it to be cleaner. The staff is friendly enough, but not as welcoming and forthcoming as I've experienced in other places in Mexico.
• Lexi (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the property and the staff. Wifi was very good and no problems connecting up to do some work. The room and bath room were great as was the swimming pool. It was a quiet area but within 5 mind walk to the main street. Charles was a wonderful host and the lad at the front desk was very helpful in arranging a couple of tours for me. There was nothing I didn't like!!

(10/5): Wonderful Oasis Conveniently located - Casa Don Diego was a wonderful little oasis in close enough proximity to the main central business center for us to walk but not right in the middle of everything whereas we were subject to late night partying etc and traffic if we did not want to be part of it. The daily breakfast that was included with our was served late enough for us to not feel rushed every morning and it offered unique dishes and enough variety that we felt satisfied as our first meal. The overall feel of Casa Don Diego was of a small tropical urban homestead retreat. The property was well-maintained and just lovely. My only complaints if I had to think of any are that the bed was a little firm for my liking and would benefit from a 3 inch memory foam topper and I think that there should be a more prominent divider between guest patios for a bit more privacy.

• Elizabeth (9/5): Breakfast was excellent; so was the coffee - The casa was very cozy and nice But Booking map sent me in the opposite direction, and there was a taxi strike so I had to walk with my luggage. No matter that I had the address from Charlie’s email, the map app keep insisting it was Hostel de Sombrero! Very frustrating.

• Robert (10/5): Tulum everything - Nice and very relaxing. Hospitable and informative host. Walking distance to the pueblo/downtown area. Quiet and nice nature around the complex. Enjoyed the pool and dining area. Outdoor kitchen had everything needed. Room was comfortable with large garden patio. Biked to both the beach and nearby cenotes. Safe and secure. Close to the ADO bus station. Will stay again and highly recommend.

• Caroline (9/5): Perfect small hotel in Tulum - Wonderful oasis of calm. Rooms extremely well equipped and comfortable. Pool area was lovely and quiet and the garden was lovely and tropical. Breakfast was very good. All staff and the owner were very helpful and friendly. Would not hesitate to book again if in Tulum. It was the perfect place to stay especially if you don't like big, corporate hotels. This is only a very tiny negative...it felt quite a long walk in the heat with luggage from the bus station and if you want to go to the beach it's not difficult, but you do need to take a taxi or colectivo if you don't have a car. It wasn't a problem though!

• Myriam (10/5): A very peaceful place to stay in Tulum ! - We liked the swimming pool, and the place where we had breakfast (super good by the way) it was at the center of the hotel and was so calm, far away from all the cars. The staff was absolutely lovely and very helpful ! We had a great moment there ! The pillows were a little bit to hard but except that we had nothing to add !
• Christina (10/5): - This property is very unique. It’s like a little oasis. The owners are beekeepers and have some of their Melipona hives on site and offer experiences. They also have a small hidden chicken and duck yard which my teen loved. The food is made by a coffee company called Brew Tulum and the owners are an absolute joy to be around. The coffee was phenomenal and they also offer experiences. The food was fresh, and very unique served on beautiful pottery and in jarritos. We enjoyed the pool and the plantings and even took home a small jar of their Melipona ‘medicinal’ honey.
• NICOLAS (8/5): Bon hotel pas trop cher à Tulum - Hotel sympathique avec un jardin magnifique. Un peu à l'écart du centre ville même si à Tulum c'est relatif car la ville est toute en longueur (taxi ou scooter est ton ami ou encore à pied). La chambre est basique mais assez grande , équipée d'un hamac en plus du lit et il y a une kitchenette. Une piscine pour se rafraichir. A 10 min à pied on trouve des restos, bars dansant. Par contre pour aller à la plage prendre un taxi ou la voiture
• claude (8/5): - Apprécié : au calme tout en étant dans la ville. Chambre spacieuse, jardin tropical et piscine très agréables. Bonne selection des restaurants et sites à visiter. Moins : chant du coq proche gênant le premier matin mais on s'habitue.

• Beverly (8/5): Great little gem! - Very quaint family owned boutique resort. They make their own honey and roast their own coffee. Lots of charm, friendly service, good location and a good value!
