Guest Reviews
- runjitk (2/5): Avoid - Avoid - Terrible accommodation especially for women.
When booking we read that the bar and the swimming pool were unavailable that was the only information that was disclosed to us. We arrived for an event, so we were very limited to where to stay. The event was actually being held in one of their banquet halls, so for convenience we booked this hotel. On check in we were not advised anything, or informed anything. While walking around the hotel, the hotel housekeeping was disgusting food wrappers rubbish left in hallways, walkways. After the event that’s when we really started to notice what was going on, we went to the car to collect some of our belonging and were heckled by some men making comments. The security officer by the door just looked at us and put his head down. We hurried to our room and didn’t feel safe to come back out again until the morning. During the night you can hear people talking in hallways, walking about was a very restless stay. In the morning we spoke with reception who informed us we should’ve called them so they could “address” the situation. There was one security officer who saw and heard but did not intervene, so not sure what receptionist could’ve done differently. The hotel reception manager was not very keen to meet us at first telling the reception staff she was in a meeting, we decided to wait for her. She was unable to address our complaint and even suggested we should’ve checked out and gone somewhere else when we felt unsafe. Totally disgusting way to be treated, and blame game response to our complaint, was a total waste of time. Will never ever stay here again.
This used to be a lovely hotel - absolutely avoid !
- Michelle (8/5): Spacious hotel. - Lovely hotel. Unfortunately the spa was unavailable. Great welcoming staff. Although it was very intimidating when we rode into the car park as there were lots of people standing around, lying on the grass, standing by their deliveroo bikes.
Room was upgraded and extended check out was offered and no extra cost.
Spacious room, clean and beds were very comfortable.
- Andrew (2/5): A dirty hovel in Heston - Dirtiest place we’ve stayed in years. No care. Place is no longer a proper hotel but what I can assume is temporary accommodation for immigration or asylum seekers.
Shocking how bad it has become.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Immigrant hotel. Shower didn't work. Rude staff. - Immigrant hotel. Only 5 rooms for us regular people. Immigrant touching my car with no respect. Staff would not help with luggage, had to get my own trolley. Rude reception staff. shower did not work on last morning so left dirty. Table was broken with numerous huge chunks taken out of the table.
- Cabdifitaar (2/5): - No internet connection, tv not working. Only given one card. Asking for deposit after full pay
- Ben (2/5): - Hotel being used to home asylum seekers. Plates, food, cutlery and rubbish being disposed of everywhere around hotel. Groups of people hanging out in hallways/ outside making the place feel unsafe. No facilities open to public or paying customers. Rooms are very outdated and look extremely tired.
- Neelam (4/5): - Not happy with bathroom and the A/C wasn’t working at all
- Hannah (4/5): Do not stay here - Really disappointed to see the difference in this hotel since we stayed as a family a few years ago. No facilities open - including restaurant. Swarms of security and refugees with bags of belongings.
- Sabreena (2/5): - Room is dirty , particularly the carpet. Hotel manager is very disrespectful. Staff here are unwelcoming. After staying at several places , this is by far the worst
- Sabreena (2/5): - All the staff members here are rude.
- Jasmeet (2/5): Avoid - Wrong description no spa no room service dirty hotel shower broken bad smell
- priyab89 (2/5): Please avoid if you’re a woman - I booked this hotel for a couple of days as a solo traveller and being a woman I thought this hotel looked okay. As soon as I parked up the atmosphere was weird, people sat around outside the hotel, in the car parks on the floor, hanging around by the lifts. Once I checked in and was walking to my room, I saw men hanging around in the corridors of rooms, hanging by the middle of the floors staring at me as I walked past. It felt very intimidating and scary. The vibe just felt very strange. The window in the room wouldn't close properly and I was worried for my safety. I went to reception and let them know I didn't feel safe, they seemed to know immediately what I was talking about and agreed to cancel my stay. I asked them to give me 30 mins to collect my things and book another hotel as it was almost 8pm and I had nowhere to go, which they agreed, within 5 mins of me going back to the room, they were calling asking me to leave so they can make housekeeping aware!
This hotel is full of people who make you feel uncomfortable. Please avoid if you're a woman
- Nicola (4/5): Stay away - Definitely not a 4* hotel, seems to be a place for refugees, felt uncomfortable as soon as I arrived with lots of what appeared to be refugees outside. As a female alone stay away. The photos are definitely not correct. The room was clean however the dressing table was split/damaged and I caught my clothes on there which pulled the linen.
- Peter (8/5): Good place - If you're traveling to London with a car or mini bus this a great stop off.
Hotel is very comfortable and quiet you will get a great sleep.
- parvinder (8/5): - Good
- godbod20 (4/5): I would avoid if possbile..... credit card data should not be written on slips of paper. - Hotel reception was horrific, they didn’t seem to understand that i booked this night whist on the road. I did not have any photo ID and only had apple pay with me. They take a 'holding deposit' and in order to get me a receipt for this ( which was a battle ) they insisted on writing down all my credit card details on a piece of paper and to top things off, they take 28 days for the refund of the holding deposit. very bad practices at reception. avoid.
( on the plus side, good parking, and the room was OK, if you dont mind the shower curtain clinging to you )
- David (4/5): Standards are none existent - Poor standards at the front desk, writing down credit card numbers on slips of paper and not able to return ‘holding deposit’ for 28 days. Bad form all round avoid this hotel.
- Wai (4/5): - Got upgraded and stat in the room was nice. Disappointed no facilities were open..
- Elke (4/5): Heston Hyde hotel stay - The staff on reception were friendly and helpful, however there was no restaurant or bar open if you had breakfast you had to have it in your room, there was only one lift working and hotel looked tired and needed some TLC, definitely not a 4 star hotel, the room was ok bed comfy, shower wasn’t good, lamp shades were grubby, walls, and windows, people hanging around in hallways made me feel uncomfortable, definitely wouldn’t stay here again. 👎
- Navkiran (2/5): Deserve to be shut down - Firstly , the manager is so rude she doesn’t even know a of customer services ,
Secondly the price what you pay and what you get was very terrible , not even a single amenity was there . What a waste I wish I could give them negative rating
- Verified traveler (6/5): Decent hotel great location - Hotel is very standard, it looks quite run down and it was quite crowded. There was another desk near the check in desk which served as a community support space. The parking and location is amazing considering it’s so close to Heathrow. This feels like a 3 star hotel, enough comfort to stay but simply to sleep and head out.
- geraintc2025 (2/5): No way a 4 star - False advertising not informing you of the facilities not in use before booking.
Would be nice if guests could be aware of what the hotels main use is for so they could make a correct decision on accommodation.
Run down and shabby
Would never book this hotel again.
- bahdur (4/5): - I stayed here before that’s why I booked it
Was amazing place now it so down hill corridors smell of cigarettes they have some collection office down stairs no swimming pool no spar no hearing they leave fan heaters for your use
- Muhammad Haris (6/5): - Average
- Manahil (4/5): - Security staff is harassing people
- Hayley (2/5): Never again. Solo females beware! - I couldn’t stay. I had to leave and book elsewhere. This is no longer a hotel in my opinion, I feel sorry for the staff having to deal with that situation. It’s full of asylum seekers who have absolutely zero respect for the place. Being a single female on my own, I didn’t feel safe as there were large group's of men hanging around corridors- glaring at me like I was intruding! They were shouting outside my door and I could not settle, they were so loud and intimidating. There was no way I was going to hack it out and eventually plucked up the courage to leave the room and check out. I felt safe once I left the carpark. The place smelled so bad of smoke and weed. The room was passable as a 2* at best, I’ve stayed in cleaner 3* budget hotels. I stayed here years ago and it was pleasant so I didn’t think to read reviews for an update.
Absolutely never again, it’s ruined what was a nice hotel. I have never felt so uncomfortable and on edge, it was awful.
The receptionist was very apologetic, it’s obviously not their fault and are just doing their best to deal with that chaos.
- Teresa (4/5): Wouldn't stay again - The hotel was full of asylum seekers so there were people hanging about in the corridors and outside the front of the hotel the reception was full of black bags of stuff for the residents the reception staff were very nice but the whole place felt uncomfortable and the room was cold and the noise from the road was very loud
- Charles (2/5): - We booked this last minute for trip to twickenham. Looked at the reviews. Probably should have looked deeper.
The hotel is used to house asylum seekers as well as paying guests. Hence no facilities. No restaurant. Pool. Or gym. Not a real problem. But the added security staff in reception didnt put you at ease when you walk in past the loud music listening cannabis smoking men sitting around.
We went to our room.
It had been serviced apparently as we checked in just before the 3pm time.
However. In the bed and on the pillows we found short black curly hairs. !
In the bathroom by the towel rail we found dried blood splattered stains on the wall and then more on the wall by the main door.
The table was damaged.
The carpetted floor was covered with 'bits'
We initially dropped our stuff and dashed out to make the game so noticed all this when we returned in the evening. Too late to get another room.
On our return after the day. We were hit by the strong smell of cannabis from the corridors to our room.
We were just hapoy to leave first thing.
Mentioned the isses to the staff and they advised to email the GM to which ive done, so we'll see if there's a reply.
Honestly. Id give this one a wide berth. Infact id never go back again !!!
I emailed the general manager. He did not reply to my email and after 4 days and chaser. He replied saying it was our opportunity to raise it before the evening so an alternative room could be found. No refund ! No gesture of good will

- 132archief (2/5): Horrendous experience. Would not have booked if we had known - Dreadful experience no warning the hotel is being used to house people other than regular paying guests. The reception is full of black bags of laundry with name tags on. Lots of groups of young men everywhere with several outside the main doors smoking weed with the smell everywhere and the security staff totally ignoring them. Felt very intimidated despite the 6 security guards sat in the lobby. Rooms tired. ALL facilities closed with no prior warning despite what the reception staff said. We would not stay here again, and should have taken note of all the security guards and dozens of cycles in the car park when we arrived at the hotel We were also asked to pay a 50.00 deposit in case we damaged the room!
- Dan (2/5): - When I first drove into the car park I knew something wasn't right as there were strange men hanging around and smoking. Then when I checked in I saw about 8 peaople just around a table in the corner of the reception area which was strange. A day before I was notified by email that the facilities were closed for the swimming pool, restaurant, bar and sauna which I was very disapointed to find out without any reason and wasn't clear when I made the booking. Also it was too late to book another hotel at such short notice. Then I was at the lift and spoke to a man asking if he was staying here and he replied that he's been living there for a year and also another person was living there for 3 years. Then I knew what I was expecting that this hotel is for housing people and more like a hostel than a hotel. This is not a problem, but I would have like to have been notified or advised as if i brought my chilldren I don't think he would have been a safe please. The staff were very abrupt and not helpful at all. I wouldn't stay here again.
- ushie21 (10/5): Perfect location for a short stay close to airport - Very comfortable super king bed, good size rooms, clean, free onsite car parking & very helpful staff. Modern & spacious foyer area with plenty of seating & helpful concierge.
No pool, restaurant or spa as originally advertised but it was not an issue as this was highlighted at the time of booking & a reminder message was also received a day before arrival. Perfect for a short stay.
Can be a little noisy but expected with the location & proximity to the airport & motorway.
Would be more than happy to stay here again.
- Usha (10/5): - Great location, friendly staff. Big clean room. Free wifi & free parking. Perfect stay
- lividm2024 (2/5): Go somewhere else - Save your money do not make this booking. The hotel is clearly surviving on its old glory. All facilities are closed and you only find out after you’ve made a booking. There’s no bar restaurant or pool available. Upon arrival will be asked for a damage deposit which we weren’t told about prior to booking. The rooms are large and spacious however there’s marks on the walls damage to the property and we could hear other guests throughout the night. The beds are very uncomfortable as they are two singles put together with duvets for two singlessawn together. There’s refuse sex in the main entrance and if you’re looking to impress this will not be the place to do it. There’s no dressing gowns poor water pressure in the shower. And you can hear traffic through the windows all night long.
- Tashane (4/5): - run down
- Claire (4/5): - This hotel is being used long term to house refugees. I hadn’t read the reviews to know this until I arrived. As a lone female business traveller, I wouldn’t have stayed here as it’s predominantly men as far as I could see in reception / out the front.
It’s a nice enough hotel and my stay passed without incident - it was quiet overnight, I did feel a sense of discomfort and the lack of bar / restaurant / fitness was shoddy.
Use this hotel to keep refugees safe, by all means, but don’t sell remaining rooms on this platform.
- HOWARD (4/5): - Hotel was tired and run down... Also little bit dirty. Was not told that I'd be the only paying customer, the rest seemed to be refugees. No trouble from them, or much noise, but if I'd have brought the family rather than a lone business traveller I would have felt uneasy. Front desk were nice tho and waived damage deposit
- Aneek (10/5): - this time stay was utterly bad. called reception for pillows, no one came. as i entered the room my bed sheet was wet. i called asking for spoons and no one came
- Ravleen (2/5): - Horrible place - do not stay
- Mohamed (6/5): - Is not the hotel it used to be, is hosting lots of refugees and too many refugee men standing in the corridors, outside and in the car park playing loud music and smoking at the front door of the hotel. My room’s window was broken couldn’t close it and had to report it. Terrible experience will not come back their ever again
- Leon (10/5): - The property was nice
- Douglas (6/5): Closed - Every thing closed !!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Shouldn’t be advertised as a hotel, it’s a refugee centre. Receptionist said no pool or bar because of Covid - obviously a lie it’s because it is a centre for refugees. False information regarding local pub, was boarded up! No hand towel and room not cleaned during my stay. Very disappointed and would like a refund but no way to claim one!
- harjinder (6/5): - Near m4
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Only stayed due to attending a wedding at the venue. Reception were very unhelpful and rude on the evening. Enquired about water, baring in mind the bar was opposite, were declined to be sold it or just given it for good will since their vending machine had ran out. It was midnight. We were told they couldn’t help which was truly ridiculous. I’ve travelled all over, stayed in many hotels throughout the uk and world and have never been declined being given water or to buy which again we offered to do so first. Positives about the hotel is that there was parking. Bar that, the bathroom was extremely outdated and shower only partly working. Bedding had rips in. Mirrors for getting ready and lighting very good. Wouldn’t stay again sadly
- David (2/5): - I booked a double room for one night. Upon arrival it became clear very quickly that the hotel is being used to house asylum applicants. All facilities including the restaurant and bar were closed, so absolutely no facilities to experience at all. The communal carpets are in a disgusting state, to the level where you need to wipe your feet as you exit the hot.
The experience did not improve once I arrived in my room on the second floor, overlooking the carpark, which was full of coaches, but this wasn’t the issue. The room was in a bad state of repair, furniture damaged, bathroom door damaged, skirting board needing a paint job etc.
There were just four coat hangers in the wardrobe, so not enough to hang all my clothes. There is a bath and shower with a shower curtain! The bath itself has seen better days and the toilet cistern kept filling all night.
An absolute terrible hotel and it is shameless that they have the audacity to let rooms here!
- Kiran (10/5): - lovely stay
- Kris (4/5): - It would appear that this hotel houses person for immigration or long term accommodation (for which I have no issue, but don’t sell this as a hotel) therefore the facilities were not available, we were told this the day before our travel. It was not mentioned in bookIng that the restaurant, bar etc would not be open to us. Cleanliness was not
Up to scratch and the whole experience was unpleasant The only good thing to me to was the friendly receptionist and free parking.
- JudithB12345 (10/5): Superb wedding venue - Hired the wedding venue at Heston Hyde. Fantastic spacious venue. Polite and helpful staff on the night. Event coordinator at the hotel, Amandeep, was helpful throughout the wedding arrangements and accommodated all our requirements. I certainly recommend Heston Hyde as a wedding venue. Thank you!
- HIREN (10/5): - Our room was not ready, but the staff kindly upgraded us to a suite room which was for the inconvenience. Very nice and friendly staff.
- Twd972 (2/5): Avoid - Unfortunately the hotel was not up to a habitable standard - rubbish bags in corridors, clothes strewn around the property, worn rooms and all amenities closed. Other reviews have correctly stated that this property is being used to house government guests, which I do not take issue with, however the standard to which the property was being run meant I did not stay at the property. If you’re seeking a stay local to Heathrow, I’d highly recommend other average chain hotels over this one.
- Fatima Al Zahraa (2/5): - Hello,
Avoid this hotel, as it is certainly not a four-star establishment. At present, it is being used to accommodate refugees, giving it the atmosphere of a homeless shelter, with packages being handed out. We stayed in a suite, but there were no robes or towels provided – we had to request everything ourselves. The carpet reeked throughout our stay, and there was a rubbish bin in front of our suite door that was constantly full. Avoid like the plague!
- DarkoH41 (2/5): Asylum Hotel - It appeared that I was the only customer there that wasn’t an asylum seeker. Absolutely disgusting that they dare to offer same hotel to general public. All facilities are closed to anyone but the “government guests”. They hangout around hallways and outside the parking lot. Eating food everywhere around the hotel. They’re mostly men. There were few children which were racing with scooters along the corridors. Full rubbish bins all around the hotel. Room was very run down with stains and splats all over the walls. I can’t believe what they’ve done with this place. Stay away! Do not stay there at all if you’re a woman.
- Greg (2/5): Asylum seekers - What they don’t tell you when booking is this hotel is full of asylum seekers. They do a full English breakfast delivered to your room but with no meat products……. So it’s not a full English without bacon and sausage. Don’t stay here it’s really not nice
- Aranjot (2/5): - This is not a hotel. We felt we had been scammed the minute we arrived. The hotel was dimly lit, with a group of men sitting on folding chairs and folding tables next to reception. This looked more like a supportive refuge housing. This is not a hotel, please be aware. We felt extremely unsafe and we left within 10 minutes. We cannot believe this is being advertised as an airport hotel.
- Thomas (4/5): Very disappointed - Was disappointed on arrival that all facilities were closed, i don't know what was going on but people were going in to the restaurant with paper plates i was told its closed i traveled by road from Scotland and had to go out an find a takeaway find this strange , i could have booked the Premier Inn without the meal deal and it would have been a lot cheaper
- Sandra (10/5): - It was safe,friendly and comfortable
- Stuart (8/5): - Very convenient location with large free car park. The hotel is being used for migrant housing, but this wasn't a problem for me. The restaurant is closed to cater for migrants, but I was offered breakfast delivered to the room if required. The room was spacious and clean. It won't suit anyone looking for a destination hotel as minimal facilities, but I would stay again if just looking for somewhere to stay convenient for Twickenham or Heathrow.
- Ranbir (8/5): - Good size room, all the facilities were closed they did message to let me know, so ok for a bed for the night.
- Joanna (2/5): - Hotel being used to house refugees, no restaurant and dreadful noise in the hallways. Felt needed a chair behind the door for safety overnight, would not recommend to anyone.
- Amardeep (2/5): Just give to charity - This hotel is basically an immigration detention centre. There were no facilities available to use. No customer service. No food available. Nothing available not even ice. Bin bags outside of my room. I think anyone who considers booking a room here is insane.
- Abigail (4/5): - The hotel is being used by immigration which would have been helpful to know as a lone female
- Ian (2/5): - Do. Not. Go.
It isn’t anywhere near 4 star.
False advertisement here. We abandoned the stay and will be seeking a refund via my credit card company.
- N2063CHjennifera (4/5): Book elsewhere - I don't normally write reviews but I felt the need to do so. First impressive of this hotel are not good, the staff are rude and very abrupt, the reception is full of welcome bags for the asylum seekers, the beds are uncomfortable, they don't supply enough towels for both guests but luckily we took some of our own towels and I'm still wormy for the return of my £50 deposit which I was told would go into my count the same day as I checked out. We didn't see any other paying guests and only saw asylum seekers, which there was no warning about. If I had of known this hotel was being used in such a way I would of stayed elsewhere. All in all a very disappointing stay and I would never book here again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible stay - The hotel had really uncomfortable spring mattress. The sheets were dirty and the floor was dirty. I checked out hours later I have reported this to reception
- Samantha (2/5): - This isn't a hotel anymore. It's for asylum seekers. There are sketchy people sitting everywhere/walking in and out. The building smells disgusting and all amenities (dining room, pool, gym) have been shut down for a long time and will never open again, it's not a hotel anymore. Very unsafe feeling. The room was also horrible. We checked in early so we could use the bathroom before going into the city... because there are no lobby bathrooms. We were in the room 5 minutes, noticed broken window. We came downstairs to go to the city and told them about the problem. They said they would fix it. We didn't leave a single thing in the room, felt unsafe. We came back at night for 15 minutes. In that time, we assessed the room. Checked for bedbugs... but mid check stopped looking because we noticed there weren't even fitted sheets on the bed. On top of the mattress was a puffy mat, and picking it up revealed the pee stained mattresses. I mean lots of stains. In addition to the pee stains all over the beds, one bed had a burn/stab through it about 6" x 2". The other, blood stains. There was dried white substance on the curtains. The desk in the room was damaged/cut up on top. We stopped inspecting so I don't know what else was in there. We immediately booked another hotel and went downstairs to leave and hopefully get a refund (not happening). In the corner of the lobby is a section filled with black trash bags (at least 100) and a table and logging computer. We left, No refund
- Happiness65468839695 (2/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS - This is by far the worst hotel you can book please avoid at all costs. We arrived at the hotel to find they had all facilities closed and we are to pay a £50 damage deposit which can only be paid by a physical card we was not informed of this prior even though we had received emails from the hotel. Once we had arrived the staff was extremely rude and even though we had already paid for the room, they were ready to leave us stranded for not having a physical card to pay for the deposit and was not ready to refund the room price. We was then forced to pay for £100 Uber to go back and collect a physical card to pay this. The hotel did not even have water to offer. The showers were dirty. The rooms were filthy and I advise you not to book this place for your own peace of mind as they will cheat you
- helena (2/5): - False advertised rooms wasn’t as advertised on website basic and grotty needs renovation
None of facilities open and used as a home to asylum seekers which we wasn’t informed of
- Farah (10/5): - They gave me a free upgrade whilst i was here for work.
- Michael (2/5): - Hotel full of illegal immigrants bedbugs in the bed The manager very rude I would never stay here if you paid me again all the facilities are closed and the smell of human faeces avoid this YMCA it’s not fit enough for homeless people
- Craig (4/5): - Heston Hyde has much potential as a business hotel, however at present it is being used as temporary housing which is obviously not mentioned during the booking process. Sadly this lead to a noisy internal environment, for example, children were scooting up and down the corridors until the late hours. It also has sadly led to a closure of all facilities, this was particularly frustrating as I have planned to take a swim before heading out for dinner.
I couldn't fault the cleanliness but sadly the other factors mean I could not recommend a stay here.
- Kuga (2/5): - We have stayed 2 night very noisy so many refugees are there untidy room service very poor there is no tea bags .waste of money we spend £75 for night
- Kieran (6/5): - Good stay but bar and restaurant were clised
- Oyediran (6/5): - It’s average.
- Sharan (2/5): - The room was disgusting, it won’t let me post picture but it was so dirty. Waste of money, nothing was clean, bedsheets had hair, sink was gross. The room wasn’t cleaned at all; toilet wasn’t even flushed, towels were dirty and wet.
- Emma (10/5): - Wry good staff
- Rajinder (2/5): - this property is used for Asylum seekers, and we were not told. at over a hundred and twenty pound per a room , i am shocked. We booked two rooms for a wedding, and found the Bar and pool were closed also.
there were people hanging around all night.
the rooms were not great, and the water pressure was not good. They even took a deposit which i was not expecting
Expedia should not have this on the website and should of told me.

I had a lovely stay here in 2019 and was keen to stay again. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. On arrival the car park was full with large busses and cars and we were told we couldn’t park there. I explained we had a booking to stay the night and he opened the barrier and I had to double park in front of a bus. He explained the car would need to be moved as all the buses leave at 7.30am. Reception and welcome was pleasant but it was explained that no facilities were open and none of the restaurants either. We had to order food in and eat in our room. We only saw one other couple who were paying guests. The hotel was full of asylum seekers who were roaming the grounds and hanging around inside. Lots of rubbish bags in corridors and breakfast consisted of three cold eggs and two hash browns with a soup bowl of baked beans which was unsatisfactory and inedible. Very disappointing stay.
- 914craigw (2/5): AVOID THIS PLACE. IT IS NOT AS ADVERTISED. - On arrival, the carpark was strangely empty save for a few cars and possibly twenty coaches. There were several (5 or 6) men hanging around outside smoking and talking. This hotel seemed to have no paying guests and looked like it was being used as a hostel. It did not look or feel like a regular hotel. Our room was dirty. It had a weird door inside that we could not open as it had a key lock, but it also opened away from our room so we couldn't bar it shut. It seemed to go nowhere as there were no other doors to it in the hallway. However, we did hear voices behind the door. Did they have access from their side? It all just seemed strange and off. After reading some Trip Advisor reviews the penny dropped and confirmed our suspicions. This hotel has guests but few paying guests. No amenities (restaurant, bar, pool, sauna and gym are closed till further notice). It was noisy with people shouting. With the security risks in our room and the general perception of the place we checked out immediately and went to another Heathrow hotel.
I liked absolutely nothing about this hotel. I feel I was lied to by the hotel and by Priceline. I will be taking this further with them. Priceline should not advertise this hotel and the hotel should change it's status to a hostel and not rent rooms out.
- 868andym (2/5): Avoid - This Hotel is no longer a hotel its a centre to house government guests. Therefore should not be open to general public. Yes our room was fine but we were at different ends of the hotel to our daughters. They had strict instructions not to leave the room or answer the door. Many men just hanging about the corridors and outside. Rooms was clean and tidy, and as we were leaving early for a flight we just got our heads down for one night. A wedding was taking place on the ground floor but clearly no guests stayed over as the car park was empty at 7am. Please remove this hotel from your site until its returned to a Hotel.
- Andrew (4/5): Shouldn't be on this site - This Hotel is no longer a hotel its a centre to house refugees/ asylum seekers. Therefore should not be open to guests. - Geneva (6/5): - Thanks for the upgrade! Hallways could be a lot cleaner……seems like ppl were living here, not a hotel. Weird vibe.
- Sukhninder kaur (2/5): - We didn’t know that hotel turn into refugee champ it’s was horrible trip everything was close no bar no food no pool.
- Louiseizat9 (2/5): Do not stay here - Terrible
No facilities open not able to get breakfast no bar no pool . Which was why we booked after a long haul flight
Being used as some king of hostel
Big fight in room next door in the middle of the night screaming and shouting
Plates of half eaten food in corridor food available to those staying as hostel guests but not to paying guests
In the morning lobby full of black plastic bags of laundry and security on door
Complained in am via last minute .com and was told I should have complained in night
Being as a fight was going on I did not want to leave room
We should have been informed prior to arrival that advertised facilities we closed
- Louise (2/5): - I am so angry and will take this further
Hotel advertised with pool bar and restaurant
Non are open
It is being used as a hostel
Dirty plates line the corridor piles of black bags in lobby
Huge fight in the middle of the night in the room next door and i was truelyscared all night
I had just teavelled from australia and just wanted a meal and bed got no sleep a d no food available as advetised
You description is misleading to say rhe least
- Ashvini (10/5): - It was a great stay, spacious and the staff were welcoming
- Lucas (2/5): - The property is not as advertised. Avoid.
- F9828DNjamesw (2/5): Odd - Strange experience. Hotel seemed like an abandoned ship. Security on door. A few coaches in an empty overly large car park. Black bin bags scattered around a checkpoint area. Cling filmed breakfasts stacked on trolleys wheeled to bedroom doors. No facilities open due to ‘cleaning’. No other guests spotted. Felt like I was in a Scooby Doo episode.
- mark (2/5): avoid - receive an email in the afternoon , informing no facilities available on site, no restaurant , bar , swimming pool ,
when turning up , security on the doors , lots of people milling about, when asked what is going on , advised that the Home Office had taken over the hotel, housing immigrants , this hotel should not be available to book
- Icilda (6/5): - Overall not too comfortable.
- Alex (6/5): - Old furniture. No amenities. Room could have been better cleaned
- Thangapermal (8/5): - Spacious and tidy.
- rajsO299GU (2/5): Terrible. Avoid this place. - Awful experience. Wasted my money. Dirty room, dirty shower, window that did not close, no bar, no leisure facilities, no restaurant, etc.
Avoid this place at all cost. You will regret staying at this hotel. The pictures are probably when the hotel was new or been staged.
- Navigate27133979051 (2/5): I feel cheated. - Check-In Sun Mar 19, 2023
Check-Out Tue Mar 21, 2023
I accepted this was a non refundable booking, however when i arrived at the desk i was told all their facilitys were closed and i should have been told by email.
I was not, I even showed the email on my phone, the lady could'nt see any such information, she told me i would'nt be charrged and refunded my payment.
Well this has not happened as yet.
I was luckily able to book into the DoubleTree By Hilton London Heathrow Airport.
I feel cheated.
- Amrik (4/5): - Miscommunication: error on part of front desk host who I spoken to the day previous to booking. This staff member didn’t convey correct information to me regards check in time. The duty manager did address this problem adequately shortly after but still the scene at the front desk during check in was a major embarrassment for us.
Regarding a fair value for money this is about a 7/10. Slightly higher than what it’s worth. Clean room. Double bed is actually two singles joined together very flimsily. Spacious room. Was told the restaurant and more importantly the swimming pool was closed, major disappointment.
- Mr James (2/5): We wouldn’t return - There was a security breach so if you left your room you had to get staff to let you back in. We wouldn’t return.
- Sonia (4/5): - It was very disappointing. There was no bar or restaurant service which we weren’t told about, so we had to go to the nearest pub to eat. This was a taxi ride there and back when we like to sit and enjoy the hotel which we have paid good money for. It was full of asylum seekers which we weren’t told about either. It was very intimidating and I felt too uncomfortable to get a breakfast as the asylum seekers were there getting theirs.
- Verified traveler (4/5): All facility services closed. - Used to use the hotel pre covid but since then the bar area and restaurant hasn’t been reopened. Staff say the Home office have taken over half the hotel, can only assume the reason which would explain the spa, restaurant and bar being closed.
It’s ruined the hotel in my view.
If you want to eat you go out or order takeaway and eat on your room.
Staff helpful.
My colleagues and I will not be staying there again until the home office are out with their ‘clients’ and the services are back open.
- James (6/5): Great hotel. Wedding function disturbs. - Regular user of this hotel.
Current issue is there is no restaurant or bar open still for hotel users.
However functions are still going ahead.
Unfortunate stay this time, wedding function music could be heard until around 11.30pm. Bass vibrations through the floor.
Hotel rooms, staff all high standard as per usual.
- Ben (2/5): Migrant Hotel - This hotel is currently being used by the Home Office to house migrants. I was not made aware if this at any point during the booking process or even when i arrived, they said facilities were closed due to covid which was a lie.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Hotel being used by home office. - This hotel is being used by the home office to house refugees.
I assume this explains why all the facilities are closed such as pool, bar and restaurant.
Lots of men walking around and quite noisy at night. Wasn't too bad for us but if I was a female single traveller it may not be an ideal place to stay.
Staff were friendly enough though.
