Het was op sommige plekken stoffig en geen kastruimte of haakjes dus als je langer blijft dan wordt het wel snel een chaos.

• AviS_12 (10/5): Top notch hostel- great for a family - We stayed in the Superior Quadruple Room, which has a lofted area with two double beds where our kids stayed. The room was well appointed, with comfortable beds, a well-functioning modest size bathroom and a good amount of space. The entire building is clean and well maintained. You must ring or use a keycard to enter from the street at all times, a helpful security measure. Breakfast was a good value (we signed up for the promo of 8EUR/pp upon check-in) and a nice way to start the day. There's a game room and spacious common area, and the kitchen is available for guest use outside of breakfast hours. The location is great-- an easy walk to restaurants and sites-- and the staff were friendly and helpful. The negatives: The windows are not very sound insulating, so some street noise can be heard. Luckily it wasn't too loud, but this would be a great improvement. The railing from the loft area has a lot of space between spindles, such that a child's head could easily fit through, making me anxious. It would be much better if they added spindles to increase safety. Overall a great place at a reasonable price. We would stay again.
• Daphné (10/5): - - The location in the heart of the Psiri district, with its many bars and restaurants and vibrant atmosphere. - Impeccable cleanliness; I've rarely seen a hostel so clean! Rooms are cleaned daily. - The staff's exceptional kindness: incredibly responsive, warm, and very accommodating. I greatly appreciated their adaptability: when I couldn't be at the hostel during breakfast time even though I had pre-booked it, they offered me to make a lunch box instead. - The beds are comfortable, and the lockers are very spacious (enough for a small suitcase). 24h/24 open reception was a must; overall, I've felt 100% safe and comfortable during my solo trip. The communal kitchen hours are limited (2PM - 11PM) to allow for breakfast service, so I haven't used it so much eventually. The 4-people women dorm is located on the street side and it can be quite noisy at night. Also, the beds do creak quite a bit because of the wooden frame. With earplugs it's no longer a problem. But honestly, considering the customer service and the pleasant surprise I had staying at this hostel, it's not a big deal. I'll come back for sure :)

Voici les points qui font toute la différence : Localisation parfaite : Situé dans le quartier de Psirí, l'hôtel est à deux pas de tout (Monastiraki, les sites antiques et les meilleurs restos). C'est le point de chute idéal pour explorer la ville à pied. Qualité du logement : Les chambres sont décorées avec beaucoup de goût, alliant charme vintage et confort moderne. C’est propre, stylé et très bien pensé. Rapport qualité-prix imbattable : Pour un tel niveau de prestation et un emplacement aussi central, le tarif est extrêmement compétitif.

• Angela (10/5): Pleasant stay in a great location - We stayed 5 nights in a private room. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.There are multiple areas to hang out in the lobby and the terrace which has a nice view of the Acropolis especially at night. Access to the kitchen is nice especially if you want to cook your own meals. The location is great within walkable distance to restaurants and metro stops. We got discounted vouchers for breakfast at check in. The buffet breakfast was fine. We were disappointed that the Zampano restaurant is permanently closed.

Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die für alle zugängliche Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Akropolis und das gesamte sehr stylische Ambiente. Das Hotel liegt in einem sehr speziellen Viertel in Athen. Wir fanden es großartig, aber die vielen Graffiti und verlassenen Gebäude mögen andere abschrecken.

• deewH4161EJ (10/5): More Boutique Hotel Than Hostel - I stayed at City Circus Athens when I travelled to Athens for a study tour. I arrived a day early and left two days late, so I needed accommodation outside of my student housing and chose City Circus based on its excellent online reviews, and it absolutely lived up to them. After a long-haul flight, I initially regretted booking a dorm and enquired about switching to a private room. Luckily, as it was winter and a quiet period, I ended up being the only person in the four-bed women’s dorm anyway. The room had its own bathroom, everything was immaculately clean, and the whole building has a modern renovation. The bathrooms even have hairdryers, which I wasn't expecting at a hostel. The gentleman at reception was incredibly polite, well spoken, and spoke excellent English. I was so impressed with my first stay that I returned for my final two nights in Athens and booked one of the private budget rooms on the subfloor. Again, it was spotless. They were also able to book me a taxi to the airport. During an extreme weather warning, I chose to have breakfast there rather than venture out, and it was decent. The common lounge and dining areas are stylishly furnished and feel welcoming. I honestly couldn’t believe how affordable it was. I’ve never stayed in hostels before (in Australia they tend to have a very different reputation) but this felt far more like what we’d call a "boutique hotel" back home. The price was probably a quarter of what you’d pay in Australia for even a basic budget hotel. Such a cool place. I can absolutely see why it’s considered the best hostel in Athens. I would definitely recommend/and stay here again next time I visit.

The staff were very helpful when the heating stopped working. The candied orange (Greek spoon sweet) served at breakfast was delicious with yogurt. There were a few minor issues. The heating stopped working for a while, and the room card didn’t function properly at first, which caused brief power outages until we received a new one. The biggest inconvenience was the lack of hot water on the last night. However, none of these issues would stop me from staying there again. Of course, at the regular price it might be less tempting, but overall we had a good experience.
• fabio (9/5): Favolosa Athens - La stanza dove ho alloggiato era un mini appartamento con tanto di cucina ( non so come sono le altre camere ) era presente un fornello elettrico , macchina del caffè a cialde ,frigobar un bollitore, c'erano anche vari utensili di cucina ,vengono anche fornite cialde per caffè ,caffè solubile ,e té. Il riscaldamento è tramite aria condizionata caldo / freddo. l'hotel dispone di molti spazi comuni condivisi ,come una cucina ,sala e terrazzino con vista sul Partenone. L'accesso alla struttura e alla camera è tramite card personale ( molto comodo )Il personale dell' albergo è molto gentile e disponibile .Si respira una bella atmosfera soprattutto se siete giovani e giramondo è il posto perfetto per voi , la posizione è ottima ,il quartiere è pieno di bar e ristoranti Il terrazzino privato della stanza funge da passaggio per il terrazzo comunitario , manca un po' di privacy probabilmente d'estate può essere un problema ,alcuni dettagli della stanza lasciano un po' a desiderare,( a lato del letto c'è l'attacco di un calorifero rimosso ,di notte potreste farvi male ).

• Arianne (8/5): Superleuke plek in een geweldig leuke en kleurrijke wijk! - We hebben 2 nachten in City Circus doorgebracht en niet veel contact gehad met het personeel maar de incheck verliep vlot en vriendelijk, de koffie die 's ochtends klaarstaat vond ik echt top en verder was iedereen er gewoon heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is er wel gehorig ('s nachts) maar je zit middenin een levendige wijk dus dat namen we voor lief. Ik zou er zó weer heengaan.

• Cedric (10/5): - The best hostel i ve been so far was the vagabonds belfast. As it toured out this hostel I following the vagabonds belfast. But besides this coincidence. I appreciate very much the 8 days I stayed at this hostel. Nothing to complain about. A new favorite place in Europe ❤️🍀 All good😊
• Pei Yi (9/5): Great stay complete with everything at a convenient location - Great location. Convenient to walk to a lot of restaurants but just a bit of distance so it’s still quiet enough at night. Staff was great and helpful. They also sell some necessities at the reception at reasonable prices. 7-8minute walk to metro station. The floor tiles at the bathroom look a bit dirty, and less well maintained, despite actually being clean. Elevator is small just like most European old building but not an issue
• Volker (10/5): Perfekt - Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad. Zimmer und Bad sind ausreichend groß und gut ausgestattet. Kleiner eigener Balkon mit Blick auf die Akropolis. Sehr freundliches Personal. Der Gemeinschaftsbereich ist großzügig und schön eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber. Zentrale Lage in Psirri. Während unseres Aufenthalts waren kaum andere Gäste da, so dass es im Haus sehr leise war. Die Türen schließen allerdings ziemlich laut und sind hellhörig. Die Fenster sind alt und lassen Straßenlärm und im Sommer sicher viel Hitze ins Zimmer. Da wir uns im Winter dort aufhielten, hatten wir damit aber kein Problem.

• Marilena (9/5): Absoloutely perfect!! - The staff was so helpful with instructions and offer their time for extra information. The accomondation was really comfy and my kids enjoyed it as well.It was so close to the town centre and we felt so flex to be around! When I will visit Athens,I will book the specific place again! No complaints at all! It was a bit noisy during the night from the street, but it's not accomondation fault. Maybe, the tv would be helpful a bit,but its not essential.

• agnieszkamZ9235KH (10/5): Great place for a short and longer stay - I traveled with my adult san and stayed in a twin room. Location is perfect, a quiet street in bustling Monastiraki. Interior design is just how I like it, as on pictures. Cleaning service, towels change every day. Well equipped kitchen, cozy lobby, evening activities, rooftop, bakery shop and coffee next door.

• Lebzylisbeth (10/5): Very good hostel in a great location - Great location, en-suite dorm, big lockers, nice lounge, great little rooftop terrace, small kichen, friendly staff. No breakfast options on site (only coffee). The breakfast at the sister hotel was mediocre (and pricey, for what it was) but was the only option in the neighborhood before 9am. Also, there was (temporary) construction noise on the street by 7:30-8am

Yo hice una reserva con desayuno incluido y al momento del registro en el hostal,me dijeron que el equivocado era yo,entonces de tres noches que reserve me dieron desayuno sin pago por l reclamo que hice,como quien dice, yo tenía la razon,cuándo me mandaron la confirmación por correo,ellos le quitaron ese beneficio, osea usan la trampa en temporada baja.

• Alanc83 (8/5): - Nice location and a beautifully renovated classic greek house. Area is full of restaurants and bars and all the main Athens squares reachable by foot in no more than 30 minutes.
• Stefania (9/5): - Cozy artsy place, comfortable, clean, in a lively area full of street art, idiosyncratic cafes and noteworthy eateries for every taste. Also in close proximity to major sights. I will return. Definitely need a pair of earplugs, even if you're not a light sleeper. I was there midweek during low season and the noise from the street was very annoying from time to time.
