• Ahmad Muhsin (6/5): Mostly delightful as the beach was super beautiful. Resort was so so due to the price vs lack of facilities. Super helpf - The staffs were super helpful and friendly. The food was nice and not expensive. If you travel more than 2 person, there will be additional charges for each extra person everyday throughout your stay although you don’t want any additional breakfast. Very basic facilities for the price. No mini fridge, no kettle. No daily housekeeping offered. Our first night, water heater was broken..fortunately, the staffs had a spare and changed it for us. Second day, there were no electricity and mobile connection from morning till evening..the third day, again no electricity and mobile connection in the morning. The resort doesn’t have a backup generator unlike other nearby resorts..

• Philip (8/5): Great location but rooms need a refurb. - Rooms are very basic and desperately need redecoration. We had one breakfast which wasn’t great but the next day was Malaysian style and it looked much better. I think the staff do their best with what they’ve got. But the location is amazing, you walk straight from your beach hut onto the beach and there is really great snorkelling right there!

• Lilia (2/5): Emplacement idyllique mais équipements insalubres - L’emplacement, l’hôtel se trouve en bord de mer La saleté, la salle de bain est dans un état catastrophique avec des moisissures de partout, l’évacuation de la douche est bouchée, cela inondé la pièce qui n’est pas propre de base. L’électricité se coupe plusieurs heures par jour, c’est compliqué car plus de climatisation, le fenêtres n’ont pas de rideaux occultant, la mezzanine est en pleine lumière h24 car une ampoule reste allumée jour et nuit, bref, je ne recommande absolument pas

• Chloé (1/5): Le meilleur moment du séjour dans cet hôtel est celui où nous l’avons quitté. - Seul point positif la beauté du paysage autour de l’hôtel. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de chaise sur les terrasses ou même un petit endroit où pouvoir s’assoir pour observer la vue depuis l’hôtel. Absence d’hygiène totale, équipements plus que médiocres (pas de papier toilette, pas de draps dans les lits: seulement une couverture, serviette de toilette usée, gels douches entamés, assiette salle retrouvée dans la chambre, literie sale, chasse d’eau et robinet qui fuient en continu. Malgré l’avoir transmis au réceptionniste (occupé en permanence sur son téléphone) rien a changé. Et pour tous cela une caution nous a été demandé à notre arrivée !! Il est honteux de pouvoir proposer des chambres pareilles. Je vous le déconseille vraiment !

• Célian (3/5): Bien situé mais beaucoup de points négatifs - Proximite avec la plage et les activités. Tout est faisable à pied. La vue est belle. Personnel qui aide pour l’arrivée et le départ, vient nous chercher à notre bateau et nous ramène. - Logement pas propre (lit avec des taches et plein de sable, serviettes fournies sales, sale de bain minable puisque l’eau ne s’évacue pas il y a des cheveux de partout dans le lavabo et la douche, toilettes qui fuient donc de l’eau sale coule dans toute la salle de bain. - Odeur désagréable en dehors et dans le logement. - On pourrait croire que les murs sont en carton: vous vivez littéralement avec vos voisins et toute la chaleur entre dans la chambre. - La climatisation fonctionne cependant impossible de changer la température donc il fait -15 degrés dans le logement ou 40 degrés si vous l’arrêtez. De plus, celle ci fuit constamment sur le lit en dessous. Elle doit sûrement être très mauvaise pour la santé puisque de la fumée blanche en sort à chaque fois qu’on l’allume. Attention aux glaçons qu’elle projette parfois! = Très cher pour ce que c’est, un taudis.

• Torsten Dam (4/5): Great location, but too pricey for what you get - The location is amazing—right on the beach. Staff is friendly enough. Beds were comfortable. Free breakfast is a nice bonus. The room was very basic. The toilet was dirty, and there was black mold on the bathroom tiles. The air conditioning didn’t work properly—we could either freeze at 16°C or turn it off and be too hot. The walls are super thin, so you can hear everything from the other rooms. For the price, I expected basic things like hand soap, bottled water, and a kettle. Calling this place a resort feels like a stretch. It also gets pretty noisy on weekends from the nearby beach clubs, but the music usually stops around midnight

• Chloe Joyce (10/5): Magical, the best property in the resort! - Amazing location, all you need if you plan to explore the island. Great refuge from the heat. Staff just lovely and I think it’s one of the best places on this resort as it is surrounded by coconut trees and wildlife. Don’t miss the massive monitor lizards en route to the jungle trail behind the property. Our main bed was quite hard and I’d have loved a sheet and blanket to sleep under.
• Viviane (6/5): - Die Lage ist großartig Die Bilder online spiegeln nicht den aktuellen Stand wieder. Die Bungalows sind schon sehr abgenutzt. Wir hatten Löcher im Boden, der Toilettensitz fiel fast ab, die Bettwäsche hatte Flecken, hinten in der Anlage hat sich ein großer See mit stinkendem Abwasser angesammelt, etc. Für den Preis von 100€ die Nacht ist das schon irgendwie doof. Die Lage ist allerdings großartig, direkt am Strand mit Hausriff wo man neben vielen Fischen auch Schildkröten und Rochen sieht!

• Laura (3/5): Je déconseille vraiment - La vue est agréable et l’emplacement aussi Très bruyant, on entend tout, que ce soit les voisins ou les restaurants à côté. La salle de bain est très sale, douche coller au toilette… Les photos sont très trompeuses, méfiez vous !! Le lit était sale, avec des taches et remplis de sables. Le petit dej est imposé. Je déconseille.
• Méline (4/5): Le pire personnel - L'emplacement est vraiment super. On sort du chalet et on a directement les pieds dans le sable. La chambre est spacieuse. Par où commencer ? La salle de bain est minuscule : on devait se mettre de coté sur la toilette car elle est collée au mur de devant. La chasse de la toilette a coulé durant 3 jours. J'ai demandé tous les jours à l'hôte de venir la réparer. Celui ci me promettait qu'il le ferait mais n'en a jamais rien fait. En soit, cela m'aurait été égal si elle ne faisait pas un bruit très très fort toute la nuit, nous empêchant de dormir. (Rien à voir avec votre chasse qui coule un petit peu a la maison, ça résonnait dans toute la canalisation ici). Le pire ? Le personnel. Impossible de leur décrocher les bases de la politesse ou un sourire. Si il n'y avait pas eu l'arnaque, on aurait fait avec mais ça a tout changé! En effet, je leur ai acheté un ticket de bateau de Redang à Kuala Terrenganu. Je me suis assurée à plusieurs reprises que c'etait bien un ticket pour Kuala Terrenganu et non Merang. Surtout lorsque j'ai aperçu que la destination du bateau ne figurait pas sur le ticket. L'hôte m'a alors expliqué "ne vous inquiétez pas, le driver sait grâce au système électronique que ce sera pour Terranganu. Vous vous en doutez, arrivés à la jetty, ceux-ci m'ont expliqué qu'ils nous avaient bien arnaqué car il n'y a que le ferry qui part pour Kuala Terrenganu. Or, l'hôtel n'a pas de partenariat avec eux donc ca ne les arrangeait pas que j'aille acheter ailleurs. Résultat ? On a du payer un taxi d'une heure vers Kuala Terreganu depuis Merang car il n'existe évidemment pas d'autres types de transfert entre les deux villes sans perdre toute la journée à attendre.

• Therese (10/5): - Vi har hatt to nydelige uker her på Paradise! Rommene er som det kommer frem på bildene gamle og slitte, men sengene er rene og servicen hos personalet er fantastisk. Du bor rett på stranden, og har tilgang til alt du måtte trenge innen rekkevidde. Frokosten er variert og maten er god. Anbefales virkelig!

• Samiah (6/5): Felt like glamping, nothing fancy, but in the best location. - It’s in prime location on the busiest and beautiful long beach. It has a sand bank right infront of property. The view at breakfast is breathtaking. It has a jetty for the boat adventures right infront of property. 2 gheckos in our room. Many mosquitos due to the openings by the Aircon wires hole. Huge gaps at door allowing mozis. The young guys at property were kind. The old Asian guy was not welcoming. The pics on the site are old pics. The property is in bad condition now due to wear and tear.
• Cristina (5/5): - Il posto si trova in una bellissima posizione di Long Beach, comodo e con un ottimo panorama su una baia splendida. L’aria condizionata funziona bene e il letto è abbastanza comodo Il bagno è davvero fatiscente come un po’ tutta la stanza. Perdite d’acqua ovunque e macchie di muffa. Due dei gestori molto cordiali e pronti a provare a sopperire alle tante mancanze, altri due scostanti ai limiti della maleducazione. Un rapporto qualità prezzo da furto, che si spiega solo nella scarsità di strutture ricettive in questa parte dell’isola

• Djohan (3/5): Cut short our stay! - Beachfront location. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Cut short our stay to just 1 night. Paid RM500 to charter a private boat back to mainland the next day. 1. Toilet was dirty, toilet bowl didn't look like it's been cleaned for years (it's really black). Sewage smell coming out of drainage. Water smelled of gasoline. 2. Even though there's 4 beds, room size was small for a family size of 4 adults, 1 child. 3. Breakfast was just fair. 4. No other facilities except swimming at the beach and go on snorkeling trip. 5. Noisy: Next door properties running karaoke late into past midnight. 6. Overpriced: Paid more than RM1.1K for 2 nights stay. Overall, this property is not suitable for family stay, perhaps more suited for dive group using as B&B only.

Dlm booking tiada dinyatakan max. 2 pax sahaja. Total tmbhn utk 6pax sampai rm400++. Bilik btl2 simple. Tiada kettle jar. Tiada cermin.toilet bowl kotor. Da di basuh pun, tidak hilang bau. Mungkin mslh kumbahan. Sarapan x sure status halal. Tiada seorang pn pekerja Muslim dlm proses penyediaan mknn. Holiday yg sepatut nye seronok, jd frustrating.... Tidak disyorkn utk guess Muslim.

Actual photo or condition in the property is totally different from website(booking.com). Not well maintained property. Got bugs in bed. One of my kids got swollen hand the next day. Why the breakfast charges (RM 50++) is compulsory for everyone ?They are not serving buffet. Only ALA carte meal which cost less than RM 15. (Photo as below). Booking.com must take responsibility on this over charges and condition of property.

• Aubane (2/5): Salle de bain très très limite… - Très bien situé sur une petite plage très belle Les chambres son très très limite, la salle de bain sale avec une fuite d’eau qui date de je ne sais combien de temps, des excréments encore dans les toilettes. Compliqué pour l’hygiène…. Literie propre mais avec des taches. Dit « wifi gratuit » mais 0 connexion même galère de trouver du réseau avec un forfait.

• Travel50989834668 (2/5): No good - Don't do it ! The bathroom was a bodged up mess the room had floor boards that wasn't secure. The furniture was old and knackered. The cleanliness wasnt the best neither was the breakfast that they served that you had no choice about .And the Mosquitos I got eaten alive ! It's ruined the rest of my holiday!!!! Never again.

• Smid (9/5): Lovely stay, lovely staff, - beach is super close, just a few steps away! The 3 guys working there are amazing, super kind and try to make your stay the best. The location is breath taking!! Older facility, breakfast was a lot, but not great quality. However, being so close to the beach and such hospitality of the people there makes up for a lot.

• Kein (10/5): 맛집 리조트!! 직원들 너무 친절해요 - 아이들과 2박3일을 보냈어요. 평점이 좋지 않지만 가성비와 위치가 좋다는 리뷰를 보고, 고민 끝에 파라다이스 리조트를 선택했습니다. 하지만 지금은 친구들에게 가장 추천하고 싶은 장소가 되었어요. 리조트에서 제티 보트 예약과 스노쿨링 예약까지 완벽하게 도와주셨어요. 여러 나라 여행을 많이 다녀봤지만 이 곳에서의 2박3일은 잊지 못 할거같아요. 보트 시간에 맞춰서 픽업해주시고, 달달한 웰컴 드링킹으로 맞이해주셨어요. 숙소에 들어가선 낙후된 시설에 당황했지만 로컬느낌으로 색다른 경험을 한거 같아요. 낡은 시설에 비해 깨끗하고 따뜻한 물과 깔끔하고 깻끗한 침구는 아이들 마음까지 사로잡았어요. 리조트 앞의 뷰는 너무 아름다웠고, 잔잔하고 맑은 앞 바다엔 아기 상어를 볼 수 있어요. 8살 아들키에도 높지 않은 깊이에서 아기 상어와 많은 물고기를 바로 볼 수 있었어요. 위치도 너무 좋고, 특히 직원들의 서비스와 맛있는 리조트 음식은 여행의 행복을 배로 만들었어요. 리조트에서 나오는 조식은 정성스러웠고, 무료로 제공되는 물과 커피는 감동이였어요. 다른 식당에서도 식사를 했는데~ 파라다이스 식사가 가격대비 양도 많고, 재료도 신선하고 아이들 입맛에도 엄지 척이였어요!! 시설에 좀 낡았지만 로컬 느낌도 나고 편안했어요. 바로 옆에 슈퍼도 있어서 편했어요. 친절하게 아이들을 돌봐주고, 여러모로 도와주신 직원들이~ 제일 감동이였어요!!! 행복한 여행이였습니다~!!!👍😊🤩 수도꼭지 틀면 물이 너무 세게 나와서 놀랬어요~ 화장실에 슬리퍼 있었음 좋겠어요!!! 그리고 음식이 리조트에서만 팔긴 아까울 정도로 맛있던데 따로 가게 하나 차리세요~😊
• Silvia Viola Rapozzi (6/5): Un po' più di attenzione al cliente e potreste avere un ottimo punteggio! - Posizione ottima, stanze affacciate sul mare. Sempre disponibile l'acqua fredda e calda nei dispenser. Basterebbe molto poco per dare un buon servizio. Non curata la pulizia della strada che porta dall'ingresso alla reception, armadio con capelli, lenzuola pulite ma con macchie datate, qualche posata a colazione sporca. La colazione non è varia ed offre uovo fritto, patate fritte, insalata di cavolo fredda, nagget e wurstel, il terzo giorno invece la proposta malese composta da riso e carne. Abbiamo chiesto di poter avere del semplice pane e marmellata, ma ci è stato detto che era in ritardo l'arrivo del container. Siamo quindi andati al negozio accanto e ce li siamo acquistati per 3€.... manca il frigo in stanza e quello alla reception è chiuso con la catena. Non c'è la cassaforte. Potreste mettere qualche sdraio riservata per i vs clienti sulla spiaggia davanti alla struttura e 2 amache per il relax, viste le palme che avete davanti. Propongo convenzione con sconto per pasti consumati al Lagoon Resort.

• Melanie (8/5): Très bien ! - Agréablement surpris par rapport aux commentaires; trop bien situé sur long Beach, personnel agréable, salle de bain personnelle avec douche chaude et literie confortable, nous avons passé un très bon séjour au redang paradise resort. Il n’y a pas d’isolation phonique avec les chambres voisines mais nos voisins ont été respectueux, et le petit déjeuner peut être amélioré (froid et toasts secs)

• ginza-angel (2/5): Worst place ever, it should be shut down. - Rats in the room, rat poop everywhere, mosquitos, dirty sheets, noise from the resort next door kept us up at night....breakfast awful...what more can we say. It was one of the worst places we have ever stayed in...luckily we changed resort and left after two nights.
• Hui (1/5): Very bad experience!!! - Nothing The smell in and outside of the room was unbearable. There were two toilets sewage drains next to our room. And also water running from the kitchen. The sewage system ran over ground and under our room. We couldn’t stay there for a minute as the smell made us feel sick. The room as small gaps in the floor just above the wastewater. This was just a bad experience. And the people working there were extremely rude!!! They told us we had to stay there with no refund:(

• Maria Teresa (5/5): - Nulla!! Purtroppo soggiorno deludente. Ci è stata assegnata ultima camera interna al villaggetto, praticamente a ridosso di una cucina e ad un cortile disordinato (di tutto di più!!). No, non ci tornerei più. Sorry anche l’accoglienza, non un benarrivati!!
• Mohamed (5/5): More cons than pros, but does the beach somehow make up for it all? - The location is on the beach. The view from the restaurant area is spectacular. The only positive aspects of the room are that the shower pressure was good & there was hot water. And that the bed was decently comfortable. I would mention the air-conditioning but it didn't efficiently cool during the day time when it was extremely hot outside, it only worked well at night. The room chalets are very badly maintained, and the state of the furniture is in bad condition. The floor has holes in them, which insects easily use to enter. The toilet is absolutely horrendous, it was not only small & ugly but dirty and had insects. There was absolutely no cleaning room service at all during our stay, eventhough we requested for our rooms to be cleaned as it gets easily dirty from the sand, they only came once at 8pm wanting to clean the room. The breakfast was very disappointing. It alternated between 2 dishes, one day they served nasi lemak( a malaysian dish) & the next day it was an English breakfast using very low quality ingredients. We once had lunch and the chicken they served was not chicken at all. Please avoid eating here at all cost.
