Guest Reviews
- MT (10/5): A recommander - Excellent accueil, personnel aimable et serviable.
Belle prestation, bonne situation
- VesperLyndoo7 (4/5): Central and clean but impossible to sleep - It’s 1 am on our third night and I still can’t fall asleep thanks to people sitting at the courtyard table and talking. It was the same the previous two nights and I’m now exhausted from the heat and sleep deprivation. Not everyone can sleep with earplugs so be aware. In addition to that there were lots of men congregating in the courtyard each evening - swapping T-shirts, signing them and talking loudly. There was even some sort of a parade around midnight right along the B&B street. Walls must be very thin as I could hear all neighbours.
Otherwise the hotel location is good as it’s very close to the centre and the place is clean. Large bathroom, modest furniture, friendly receptionist and average breakfast. Perhaps the rooms facing the back of the hotel are better but I won’t recommend those facing the entrance.
- F7454ZZjulieh (8/5): Great location - Stayed here for two nights in May. Very central location. Clean and spacious rooms. Well equipped ie hair drier, coffee machine, TV. Plenty of wardrobe space. Only downside was lighting was inadequate in the bedroom although ok in bathroom. And heated towel rail wouldn't warm up. Communal area with nice sofa etc was a lovely touch.
- 344blankas (8/5): Stunning views day and night - The accommodation is right on the edge of Siena’s historic city center, short walks away from the famous square, Piazza del Campo and the amazing Duomo. Worth spending a bit more on a superior room as it offers beautiful views of the old town and it comes with much needed coffee machine. No breakfast is currently offered due to Covid restrictions so an early morning coffee in the room is a definite bonus.
The staff was super helpful with directions on how to enter the historic center as tourists are not allowed to enter through any of the many gates, and then directing us to the nearest parking lot.
- Pascal (10/5): - Accueil parfait
Vue magnifique sur les monuments
Acces a pied rapide vers le centre
L hotel est un peu bruyant ,on entend les gens
- Queezle22 (6/5): Clean room, but rudest reception I've experienced - This is a well-located hotel - ideal if you are arriving in Siena by bus. The view was nice - lots of rooftops. The sheets are amazing - good Italian cotton! However, the walls are very thin, and I was woken many times by other visitors when they arrived and departed.
But what really ticked me off was the attitude of the receptionist. There was no paper giving us the WIFI password or details about checkout, and she denied that was true. Then when we asked for a map, she gave us a terrible photocopy that was essentially useless. Maybe I shouldn't expect maps, but every other hotel in Italy gave us nice maps that they probably receive from the tourist information center. And when we asked where we might get a bite to eat at 3:00 (we know that is not a normal time, its why we asked) she basically scolded us for needing to eat at an irregular time.
- DionKets (10/5): Great views, clean room. - We stayed here for two nights and booked the big double room with the terrace. The views over Siena are incredible and we enjoyed just sitting on the terrace and having a glass of wine. I don't think there are better views in Siena.
The bnb is very clean with a nice bathroom and the room is clean.
Everything is within walking distance and there is a supermarket a few steps from the bnb that sells everything that you need.
We had a fridge for our beer and wine and there is a mutual microwave in the mutual lounge area on our floor.
You can't go wrong staying here.
- CaroleRei (10/5): Great location, stunning views, quality rooms and service - Our room was overlooking on the roofs and the Duomo, we were stunned by the view when we arrived. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is very central and practical, you can easily go back and forth between visits and naps! Breakfast was good and copious. Employees were very helpful and available.
- SydneyGemma (8/5): Great location! - A lovely hotel in a great location! We had a nice view from our hotel room. Be prepared for lots of steep streets to walk up and down. Such a lovely place! We wish we had more than 1 night there. Breakfast was continental and ok. Loved Siena!
- meandering123 (8/5): Central in Siena - Although we did not get a room with a view, we still enjoyed our stay. We had a good breakfast every morning and due to the central location we could explore Siena every day. We particularly appreciated Diane at the front desk who gave excellent advice on day trips, bus journeys and other tourist topics. She was most professional and even magically provided us with a breakfast for our early departure on the last day. The room was comfortable with aircon and good pressure in the shower. We recommend this place in terms of location and service. Thank you for making our stay great!
- ellobo211 (8/5): Great location and views - Great location - easy walking distance to all Sienna sites and bus station. Very nice breakfast area. Our comfortable room had a beautiful skyline view of Sienna. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the Inn did not have a lift and we had to carry our bags up and down a flight of stairs (desk clerk offered assistance).
- Alan (10/5): A great choice in Siena - We would definitely recommend I Tetti di Siena. It is well located, quite close to the train station but also to the main attractions. Our room was spacious, extremely comfortable and quiet. The staff was very courteous and helpful and the breakfast was very good. It is also very competitively priced. There is also a supermarket just around the corner. Excellent all round!
- aljaz_23 (10/5): A relaxing night at I Tetti di Siena - The staff was very king and helpful. The lady at the desk escorts you to your room. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable and very pleasant. They kept the heating going all night long, so you wake up in a perfectly comfy temperature. They also included tea, sugar, fast heater for water and cups so you can have a nice cup of hot tea in privacy of your room, watching flat screen (not so small) tv! The bed was the best i experienced in years! You can actually sleep and rest on it with a proper pillow under your head....in fact two pillows. A flat and a high one so they match everybody's sleeping style. When you wake up the breakfast waits for you and the staff is always in the eating area serving the table. So if you are a little bit late in the morning there is no worry you couldn't choose the same variety of food like the guests in the early morning. All around a perfect experience, except they don't have a parking space for cars near by. You must be prepared to walk a few hundred meters before you reach the stay, but if you are planing visiting the beautiful medieval city of Siena you won't be using your car anyway, because of narrow streets. Top place to stay at least a couple of days.
- Fabiana (8/5): Excelent hotel - Excelent! Great hotel staff!
- Sightsee816177 (10/5): Great location - The room my husband and I had was very clean and spacious. The location to Centre City and other attractions was great. It was a very quiet place to stay but yet be close to all you want to see. We would book here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Super great! - Location is right in the center of the heart of Siena. Very clean and nice cosy room! Not a complaint about it!
- Gaby (10/5): - Nice hotel. Clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. Great location. Will recommend to anyone staying in Siena.
- Larry (6/5): Couldn't Get Excited - I couldn't get excited about the room. Solo travelers always get the smallest & worst room. I just got basic room. I was there 3 nights, slept well, no problems. Close to main street to see the sights of Siena. Nice old building renovated and modern rooms.....Breakfast included but basic. There should be better rooms here upstairs like the photo on internet. Wi-Fi O.K.
- YAN PING (8/5): - Overall the stay is good and convenient. The staffs are also friendly in recommending the places to go.
However, need to improve on WIFI, couldnt connect at all.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location - The employees could have been friendlier. Also, the wifi was down the 3 days we were there
- Maciej (10/5): Great place to stay near the center of Siena. - Located near city center, in a very quiet spot, walkable distance from train station. Helpfull staff, we could check-in 2 hours before normal time, gave us instructions on how to get to most interesting spots. Nice room (double), clean, very comfortable bed (with little chocolates on pillows ;) ). New, clean, functional bathroom. Good breakfast, nice choice of food, drinks.
- Teresa (8/5): - Loved the location of the hotel.
- L (4/5): Needs work - new B&B, so they know they have work to do. They left fresh flowers in the room, which was a nice touch. the location is close to downtown and also close to parking, so that is a plus, though it does feel like it's on the outside edge. That said, the bed covering was dirty, which generally made us feel like other things were dirty. there was food on the remote control. the bed was very lumpy and caused you to roll to one side. the curtains would not close, kept getting stuck so we had to leave them open. the entry courtyard was filled with pigeon feathers and droppings. a simple sweeping would have improved the first impression.
the overall rooms and spaces could be very nice
- Chung Jui (10/5): Definitely worth the stay - Lovely hotel, the owner very friendly, the staff very polite, cosy n just like home...very nice, highly recommended....
- chine (10/5): Great views - Great location, very close to the bus station, excellent views from the terrace, very thoughtful staffs! I would like to stay here again next time.
- Filip (6/5): Good located hotel - This hotel has a good location, but it is "Bed and Breakfast".
This is written on its door.
- Keith (10/5): Volterra bike trip - Great location in Volterra. Easy to access and close to everything.
- M Kumar (10/5): Excellent location - Location was great, few minutes walking distance from bus staiton and all the sights. Bathroom was spacious and very clean.
- local and charm (8/5): Great and local - Really good local place with charm. The host speaks little english but enough if needed. Loved the place. Sienna is very small and this place is about a nice 5 minute walk
