• Ralph (10/5): Amazing views, comfortable stay. - A wonderful and comfortable apartment with a killer balcony. All the facilities you need are available. It takes about 20 minutes to walk into the old town, but the Number 4 bus which links to the main gate passes the top of the hill every 20 minutes. Hint: get a 1 or 3 day Dubrovnik Pass, which pays for itself as soon as you walk the city walls, and includes free public transport. The apartment is at the end of a very steep, narrow road and the parking spot is pretty tricky to get in and out of. We only did it once, since we returned our car straight away to the Sixt office just up the road. The bed is a little on the soft-and-saggy side.

• Karen (10/5): I chose this at 3am the morning we flew to Dubrovnik, and I aced it. Great choice for my granddaughter and I. We spent t - Close enough to walk to town, 20 mins. Close to well stocked grocery shops, bakery, takeaways and Rixon hotel for a nice coffee. We sacrificed a second bedroom for the balcony and view, I slept on the large couch which was really comfortable. Mare was up to let us in at 9.30pm, she gave us a map, told us about buses etc and even made me a coffee which I so appreciated. Everything was perfect for us. Nothing to dislike. Access is from either of two parallel streets, the one without stairs is easier with your luggage.

• Choongwon (10/5): - 호스트인 마리아 여사가 무척 친절했고, 테라스의 경치는 감탄 그 자체. 아드리해를 실컷 봤다. 숙소 가까이에 마트가 있어 편리했고, 올드타운까지 걸어서 갈 정도의 거리였음, 대중교통으로 이동하기에도 편했음. 주차가 조금 힘든 것 빼놓고는 딱히 없다. 다행이 아들이 출차할 때 도와주었음. 고맙다는 말을 다시 하고 싶다.

Old town was either an easy walk or bus trip. Nice to be away from the crowds of old town. Good kitchen if you want to cook but restaurants a short walk away. The Sixt rental return only 100m away which was great as we had to return a car. Tight lane if you want to drive a car to the location

Wir hatten ein Apartment mit Balkon und Blick auf das Meer. 20 Minuten zu Fuß bis zur Altstadt. Eine sehr nette Gastgeberin hat uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben und wir konnten sogar auf einen noch schöneren Balkon wechseln, als das entsprechende Apartment frei wurde Das Geschirr etc. war etwas sehr zusammengewürfelt und alles ein bisschen ältlich

• tony (9/5): Great, would highly recommend. - Mare was very helpful and welcoming, even though our flight was delayed and we arrived after 10pm. Great location, clear and tidy, with everything we needed. Balcony to die for A/C in main bedroom would make not nights more bearable. A microwave would be useful, for longer stays.

• Rajat (10/5): Great stay in Dubrovnik with amazing views - The apartment was in a good locality and close to the old town by walk of around 20mins. The sea view balcony was perfect. Many places to go out for a swim near the apartment. The host was amazing and always there to help you out. Nothing. One point to note is that for apartment A2 the air conditioning is present in the main room and not in the bedroom and thus required you to keep the door open for the bedroom to have the affect of air conditioning.

Clean and bright, with air conditioning and the owner/host just downstairs if we needed anything! Very reasonably priced. Mare is a lovely person!!

The neighbourhood is quiet and you are only a 20 minute walk from Old Town. The suite is quite spacious. It was great to have a washer. The host is so sweet and kind.

• Erika (10/5): An absolutely wonderful place to stay - The apartment has stunning water views which immediately makes you feel relaxed. Especially after time in the busy old town. It is spacious, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our host, Mare, was very welcoming and very willing to help with anything or give suggestions about where to go. It is only a very short walk to a little ‘beach’ or rock access for a swim in the crystal clear blue water. Or you can walk a little further to a more established local beach area. There is also a shop just around the corner and nearby restaurants. The Old Town is an easy 30 minute walk, slightly up hill on the way back, or there is a bus. Absolutely loved our stay at the apartment and in Dubrovnik. There were a few stairs and a steep-ish path. Most people would be fine.

Just a 20 minute walk from Old Town it is in a quiet location and 3 minutes from a small supermarket. Far enough out of the city to have reasonably priced restaurants too. I rarely visit the same place twice but would happily go back here.

I was not expecting panoramic views of the sea and we arrived at night so opening the blinds in the morning was a wonderful surprise! The apartment was comfortable and cosy, the family of the owner were very helpful and I felt that the apartment had everything we needed for our stay. We had a really enjoyable time here! It was a little further out than I thought but luckily the ubers and transport in Dubrovnik are super quick and affordable so this did not matter and it was very quiet.

• Marilyn (10/5): Perfect place to stay to start off our amazing Dalmation Coast, Croatian trip! - We loved the spacious living and kitchen area, making it great to have our morning breakfast. The market was down the street, so it was easy to pick up anything needed (yogurt, bananas, etc.). Our bed was extremely comfy too! The patio overlooking the Adriatic and a pomegranate tree out our window were amazing finds in the morning sun! Our host, Mare, was the best!! She made us feel very welcome! We were a 20 minute walk away from the Old Town, which we enjoyed! We also had a washing machine in our room, so we were able to wash a small load before boarding our bike/boat trip. The price seemed reasonable. Highly recommend!! It was a little challenging finding the place in the dark as we were not used to the narrow streets/alleys of Dubrovnik. After we became acclimated, it was not a problem.

Would definitely recommend. Not far from the city at all, although it might look far away on the map. You can reach the city center in 10 min by bus or less than €10 by Uber. My family and I really enjoyed the stay. Everything was just perfect!
• Amit (9/5): Excellent stay in Dubrovnik and Apartments Mare. Highly recommended! - Very lovely hosts. Superb apartment with a great view of the Adriatic Sea. We were late on arrival (almost 9:15 pm) and there was no rush for checkin. The hostess (Mare) ensured we were checked in well. Next day morning, the host came to check if everthing was ok. Excellent hospitality. Close to the Bellevue swimming area as well as the Rixos Premium / 5 star hotel, where you can get a taxi. 20 minutes walk to the Old Town - but if you are visiting in Summer, ensure you go early to beat the summer sun! We missed having a fan in the bedroom. While the living room had an AC and a sofa bed for our daughter, it would have been lovely to have a fan in the bedroom to beat the summer heat.

About 15 mins walk to the Old Town, 3 mins walk to the bus stop for the way back from the old town when you are 'stepped out'. Little bakers nearby and a small supermarket at the top of the road. Host Mare was very welcoming and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay here, would definitely recommend.
• Larry (10/5): Great view, value and location! - Great host and beautiful, quiet location and view from the deck! Everything was perfect, and the photos and description were perfect. Great value. Nice walk to the old town. I suggest using their recommended airport shuttle. Our Uber driver dropped us off at the wrong street, and it was a bit of an uphill walk with baggage on a hot day. Would stay again. With 3 nights costing less than 1 night at nearby hotels, and we had a nice kitchen. Wifi on the deck wasn't strong but I think they're resolving that.

It’s very close to quite peaceful beach, but you have to be healthy ’cause you need walk down over 100 stairs to get there. Apartament is fully equipped, moreover it was the cleanest place I’ve ever been. Mare is great host with a big heart and charm, she told us about the Dubrovnik and even share with delicious cake. We definitely recommend this place, you’ll feel like home! Nothing!
• Lauren (8/5): Great views and clean - Apartment mare was very clean and had everything we needed. It was about a 15 minute walk from the walled town. Our balcony was very comfortable and we actually spent most of our time when at the room sitting outside. We watched many boats go past but the highlight was a pirate ship! The parking spot provided fit our medium sized American suv fine but the road getting to it is typical European. It was a little snug. I do not recommend driving here with a truck or large SUV. The pull out bed was not comfortable at all. My kids were not a fan of sleeping on it and the sheets didn’t stay on which they found frustrating.

• Andee43 (9/5): Lovely welcoming, and well equipped apartment with gorgeous ocean views and charming host. - The apartment was lovely , exactly as shown in the photos. The owner, Mare was there to meet us with some welcome juice and lots of useful information about how to get into town. The balcony overlooking the sea was gorgeous but the weather was not very cooperative and rained the rest of our visit, so we had only 1 day to enjoy it. Having a washing machine was a bonus. Apparently it is about a 20 minute walk to the walled city, but being elderly we opted for the bus, a short walk from the apartment. The Rixos hotel is very nearby so one day we took a taxi back which cost us 15 euros instead of the 2 euro bus fare. The apartment is at the end of a steep and very uneven dead end lane way, and although residents park their cars there and we got our rental car down on our last day , the taxi driver refused to take us and we had to manhandle all our bags over very rough terrain ourselves. This is not a criticism of the accommodation at all, but if you are taking a taxi, insist they take you to the door.
