- Daryl (7/5): Beautiful oasis in a built up area. - The ambiance of the place was amazing, beautiful garden setting in the middle of the city. Once we got our bearings it is close to everything, only a short less than 10 minute walk to Thapae Gate and Old Town. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was OK. We had a pool access room which was lovely being close to the pool. Bed was comfortable but also a bit firm, asked for a pillow topper to make it a bit softer but they did not quite understand... The pool was lovely and refreshing but would benefit from a rail to assist with getting in and out of the pool for balance as the tiles were quite slippery. The access rooms did not have any support to get out. Also you could not go for a swim until 10.00am which is a bit late I'd you like a morning swim. Breakfast was adequate but did not have an egg station to get something other than fried eggs that were just sitting in a bain marie. Being a smoker, the only place to smoke is in a dedicated smoking area which is right at the front entrance to the hotel, not very nice for non-smokers to have to walk past to enter the hotel. The hotel is still a pleasant stay.

Room is spacious and clean, pool is refreshing . Be aware that there isn't a lift, so if you are not on the ground floor you will have to take the stairs.

Which sums up the level of customer service you will receive from the reception team. The WiFi is average. The breakfast is ordinary to say the least. The location is remote , down an alleyway really hard to find. The beds are really hard. But don't ask the reception staff for anything. They will not help and use any excuse to charge you extra.

- Damien (9/5): Lovely hotel in a perfect location. - Lovely room, beautiful setting and perfectly located in a quiet laneway close to The Pae Road between the gate and the night market area. The pool (two!) was pleasant but it's unused children's area meant it was a bit short for much else than paddling. The bathroom lacked bench space, the light was not over the vanity and there was no shaving mirror.

Recommend the p - The beautiful gardens, pools and Thai architecture made it feel like a lush hideaway in busy Chiang Mai. The rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. Get a poolside room if you can - so easy for an early or late dip. The breakfasts were amazing and it was well located between the old city and the night bazaar. I couldn’t fault it.

Not a good assortment and berry little fruit, which is crazy in this area. Rooms were ready and vacant, but wouldn’t let us check in 1 hr early without a steep up charge. Could have been more welcoming and not charge in this circumstance. I understand if it was hours. This felt like a money grab and not customer based service.

La ubicación es buenísima, cerca de todo pero a la vez alejada del bullicio. Hemos echado en falta la alegría y cortesía que las personas Tailandesas suelen tener. Además, descubrimos el último dia, por nuestra propia cuenta, que había dos piscinas (cosas que nos podían haber informado antes, durante el check in). Además, da un poco de mala sensación taaaantos carteles por todos el hotel de prohibición. Y por último, también echamos en falta más tumbonas o sitios para sentarse en la piscina ( solo había 3 en la principal).

- Rachael (9/5): - Peaceful, AUTHENTIC resort with a BEAUTIFUL outside space, garden and fountain Extremely hospital staff who were always available to help and supported a late check out Tasty breakfast with a wide range of options Super comfy bed, I ended up sleeping through my alarm once! Great location, down a quiet side street but within good distance to local spots of interest I stayed at the resort over New Years and it was the perfect stay, ending with a little home made New Years gift bag from the team which was such a lovely addition! Indoor balcony so not much privacy, had to close my curtains a lot and unable to leave curtain/door open due to other guests walking by Walls can be thin so if there are noisy neighbours and have sensitive ears like me, beware An iron would be great!
- Courtney (10/5): - The pools and rooms are fantastic. The staff was always so friendly. The location was perfect. We could walk everywhere but it still felt quite and secluded. Great experiance. Also the shower was fantastic.
