- Natalia (6/5): - Located in Little India, it's a cheap area that's still quite central. Ladies may not feel safe walking around at night, as locals there have a tendency to stare at foreigners. First thing you notice when you arrive is a police billboard that warns of a series of thefts in Bunc Hostel. I forget the exact number, however it left an impression on me. Rooms are quite fine for the price. Beds are okay. Downside is that cubicles don't have curtains to offer an illusion of privacy. There's air conditioning (not turned on until after midnight) and a fan on the roof (which started making a squeaky noise on my fourth night, so it was turned off) Breakfast supposedly starts at 5:30am. On the day of my flight (9am) I hung around until about 6am, even checking the time with some of the staff, but they failed to deliver on time. Breakfast is just instant coffee, a sash of oatmeal, and bread with jam/butter. Upside is that you can eat as much bread as you want. Shower room is quite humid. Most shower stalls are to be closed with a curtain, which will fly around and flash everyone with your nudity thanks to a quite unhelpful couple of fans that are installed on the ceiling. The administration should really consider investing in some actual doors for the showers. Listen, you get what you pay for. The hostel lands somewhere between 2 and 3 stars. I still spent a tolerable couple of nights there. If you're looking for a slightly more comfortable experience though, keep looking.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - ...unlike other hostels that I've stayed in...BUNC Hostel has the ambiance of "communal living" :-)) and with the quality service provided by the staff (at any shift; reception and janitorial alike), it won't be surprising if there's more BUNCs popping up at another location...well done BUNC Hostel, keep up the good work...
- Verified traveler (2/5): Full of lies, you won't be safe here. - Do not stay here if you are a woman or Caucasian. This place is catered to Indian men only. We could not believe how rude and racist the staff and other guests were to us. The police have posted a sign in front of the hostel tallying the amount of thefts reported at the hostel. The breakfast is a bag of bread, when it runs out, that's it, no "brrakfast" for you. This was the third hostel I stayed at in Singapore. It was easily the worst one I stayed at out of 6 countries in South East Asia.

- Okay (6/5): - I knew it's a hostel and i shouldnt expect anyhing much. Exellent location i must admit. Right opposite the subway. Very convenient! Great staff services! I'd like to point out on a cleanliness a bit. A pillow on my bed looked like it had never been changed with some clear stains. So i had to cover it with my scarf the whole stay. No standard needs like shampoo and shower gel the bathrooms. The only one wall-attached-hair-dryer in the girls toilet has really weak heat and no empty plug is provided if you bring yours. Not convenient if you have long hair. Hostel's cleanliness and some standard needs have to be improved.

- Mark Vincent (4/5): Not my cup of tea - This was definitely a learning experience. My flight arrived late so I checked in at night with plenty of people at the lobby with their luggage in hand. The front desk clerk helping me check in was nice. I got my room and didn't like what I see. The room was super small with 8 beds, 4 beds in each side (2 on top and 2 on the bottom) with a very tiny connecting space. You have to put your carry on luggage in your bed and my bed smelt awful, which could be coming from one of my fellow bunk mates. My biggest concern is security. There was no cover to your bed and you'd have to bring/lug around your luggage if you wanna be secure. I feel like anyone could just steal your bookbag, which has my passport, credit cards and money. The whole set-up wasn't secure (in my opinion). The price is amazing, but I just didn't feel secure and safe. So I met with my friends at the lobby that same night and book a hotel for my stay at Singapore. I'm sure this setup is more than sufficient for the more experienced traveler, but that's not me.
- Guest (6/5): - Very strategic location; 5-minutes walking distance to a coach terminal and MRT station. Cleanliness could've been better as there's a layer of dust on the shelves located at the foot of the bunk beds. It was unnerving to see cobwebs and dust on the fixtures and wiring if you get the top bunk though... The lockers are located under the beds but doesn't come with locks; you need to bring your own padlock. The free breakfast consists of the bare minimal; white bread with 3-4 spreads and a cup of coffee/tea. WiFi is very slow.

Woke up with bed bugs crawling over my bead, they offered my another room on another floor, inspected under the bed and found huge bed bugs under the other bed too. After booking and paying for three nights I naturally checked out and asked for a refund, they provided me with an email to get in touch and still I'm waiting for a reply, try to avoid this place if possible!
- Jack (4/5): - The dorm beds are nothing like a capsule and basically normal bunk beds without partition walls. I did not sleep there. You can however arrive at the hostel early, wash your clothes, and shower. I also notice that they have gender segregated shower rooms that makes dressing easier.

- Nompang (2/5): The worst hostel of my mine เฮสเทลที่ไม่ดีที่สุด - 1.ห้องพักเหม็นอับมากกก 2.ไม่มีม่านปิดอะไรทั้งสิ้น โดยบางคนเปิดไฟเวลานอน คนที่นอนปิดไฟก็จะไม่โอเค 3.น้ำแอร์หยดตลอด กว่าจะซ่อมก็หายวัน 4.ที่นี่ไม่มีช้อนส้อมให้ และไม่มีแก้วน้ำ ตอนนั้นเราซื้อมาม่าเกาหลีแบบถ้วยใหญ่มา พอเปิดดูก็ไม่มีส้อม เราเลยไปถาม staff เขาบอกไม่มี แถวนั้นร้านชำก็ปิดแล้ว เราเลยใช้มือกันแทนเลย 5.ในห้องน้ำมีไดร์ แต่ไดร์เสียสนิมขึ้น เหมือนเอาไว้โชว์ว่ามีเฉยๆแต่ใช้ไม่ได้ 6.ที่นี่มีเครื่องซักผ้า แต่มี 2 เครื่อง เสียไป 1 เครื่อง และมีเครื่องปั่นแห้ง 2 เครื่อง แต่คนที่เข้าพักเยอะมาก ทำให้ไม่พอกับความต้องการ เราเลยต้องไปหาเครื่องซักผ้าหยอดเหรียญใกล้ๆ 7.ไม่มีความปลอดภัยเลย -รองเท้าแตะ(มีแบรนด์)เราหายทั้งที่อยู่หน้าเตียงนอน ตื่นเช้ามาก็ไม่เจอแล้ว โดยก่อนจะเข้าห้องต้องสแกนบัตรเข้าไป ก็คือคนในห้องเอาไปนั่นเอง และเราบอก staff ไปก็ไม่คิดจะช่วยอะไร บอกว่าคนมันเยอะมันทำอะไรไม่ได้ที่จะถูกขโมยไป -เราเป็นกะเทยที่ไม่ได้ทำศัลยกรรมอะไร ก็เลยเข้าห้องน้ำชาย เพราะกลัวมีปัญหากับผู้หญิง โดยวันแรกก็มีคนบอกว่านี่ห้องน้ำชายนะ เราก็บอกไปว่าเป็นผู้ชาย และมีวันนึงเราจะเข้าไปอาบน้ำ เราเข้าไปก่อนฝรั่งและคนหน้าแขกๆ ขณะที่เราอาบน้ำอยู่ แขกคนนั้นก็เปิดม่านเรา แล้วบอกว่าไม่รู้ว่ามีคนอยู่ ทั้งๆที่เราเปิดน้ำอยู่และปิดม่าน และห้องอื่นว่างอีกประมาณสองสามห้อง และเขาก็ไม่มีอุปกรณ์อาบน้ำอะไร หลังจากที่เขาเปิดม่านเราเสร็จเขาก็ออกไป พอเราอาบน้ำเสร็จ เราก็ไปบอก staff เขาก็บอกคงเข้าใจผิด มันจะเข้าใจผิดได้ยังไงเมื่อจงใจขนาดนั้น สุดท้ายเขาก็ไม่ได้ช่วยเหลือ ไม่ได้เปิดกล้องวงจรปิดอะไรให้ -คนทั่วไปสามารถเข้ามา lobby ได้เลยเดินไปห้องน้ำ ห้องอาบน้ำได้เลย เพราะไม่ต้องสแกนบัตรเข้า สแกนแค่ตอนเข้าห้อง
- Juli (6/5): - Direkt an der U-Bahn Jalan Besar gelegen. Restaurants, Läden und das Leben in Little India direkt vor der Tür. Das Doppelzimmer hatte ein gutes Bett,zwei große Sofas,einen kleinen Schreibtisch,Tv, Teppichboden. Leider kein Fenster. Luft kommt über die Klimaanlage, die man selbst regulieren kann u über einen Deckenventilator, was das Zimmer anfangs leider etwas muffig riechen lies. Die Küche (ohne richtigen Herd) u Frühstücksterrasse ist groß, offen, gesellig. Leider gibts nicht viel Geschirr u Besteck, doch an der Rezeption kann man evtl mehr bekommen.Für einen kurze Aufenthalt ist es ok.

- Josee (8/5): Bien - Les chambres sont petites et sans fenêtres, mais propres et confortables. Il y a de l'espace au pied du lit. Le déjeuner est très de base, du pain et des confiture. Il faut faire la file avec les nombreux touristes pour faire griller son pain. Les toilettes et douches sont correctes; propres et en quantité suffisante. Le service était bien, aidant et sympathique. En général, un peu cher pour ce que c'est. Le prix varie en fonction de l'achalandage de l'auberge.
- Madeline (2/5): Total anders als wie auf den Bildern im Internet - Normalerweise schreibe ich keine negativen Bewertungen, aber ich finde das sollte man in diesem Fall tun. Das Hostel sah den Bildern kaum ähnlich. Die Zimmer (ich war in einem 8-Bett Zimmer) waren viel zu kalt, da die Klimaanlage viiiiel zu kalt eingestellt war, zudem war sie noch total laut. Ich musste Nachts mit einer langen Hose und Jacke schlafen, man hat total gefroren. Zudem konnte man Nachts nicht sein Licht am Bett anmachen, ohne dass alle wach geworden sind. Unter meiner Matratze lagen Fußnägel.. die Sauberkeit lies auch wirklich sehr zu wünschen übrig. Ich musste 8 Dollar bezahlen um die Waschmaschine zu benutzen, wo der Waschgang nur 30 Minuten lang war und meine Wäsche danach noch genau so schmutzig war wie vorher! Sobald man sich an der Rezeption eine Auskunft holen wollte, waren die Mitarbeiter genervt. Das Frühstück war auch echt nicht gut. Es gab nur Toast mit Marmelade (was eigentlich auch ausreichend ist) aber es war immer so voll, dass man alleine eine viertel Stunde anstehen musste um sein Toast zu toasten. Zudem hat man sich immer gefühlt wie auf einem Bahnhof, da es in der Eingangslobby immer voll mit Leuten waren, die da mit ihren Koffern gelegen haben. Als ich spät Abends angekommen bin und mein Handyakku leer war, war es auch nicht möglich, sich dort einen Adapter auszuleihen. Im Frauenbad liegt ein Haarföhn mit einem Zettel, dass man ihn nicht benutzen soll. Warum liegt er dann dort und wird nicht weggepackt? Ich war sehr enttäuscht.
- Harp (10/5): - I really liked Bunc hostel. I ended up staying there twice during my Asia trip. The beds are comfortable and spacious with private lights and a plug. The washrooms are cleaner than most for a hostel. The front staff were super friendly and helpful. One of them called an uber for me because my app wasn't working. I would recommend this hostel to any traveler.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Well located, can improve - I have been at Bunc twice as it is inexpensive and a very well located solution for a short stay. The first time I was there it was almost a year ago; it gave me a very good impression overall for the price, the facilities looked well maintained and clean. This second time I visited (for a week) there were noticeable aspects that could be improved. The facilities looked like they really need a refresh, starting with simply some wall paint. The male toilet is a bit run down and it's not the fault of cleaning staff at all. It is rather unmaintained, the sink is not easily letting water flow that's very easy to see. The taps either don't work properly or just somehow flood the floor, etc. Aside of that if you put that many persons in a room where the only window has been apparently permanently closed it may get a bit stuffy unfortunately, it would be nice for the hostel to try finding a solution to that. Overall is still a pleasing place if you get a good price and stay for a short time, potentially could be better.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Decent stay with this price. Not the best though. - The bathroom can be of better condition. As the shower head of one booth is gone. So basically only one booth is left in the males bathroom. Bathroom cleanliness can be improved .

- Verified traveler (8/5): valuable hostel - The hostel is within five mintues walking distance from the subway station, Rochor. Arab street is ten minutes away as well. The front desk in day time is very nice and helpful but the one in the late night is rude. The beding is not changed for my stay.

- traveller (6/5): Uneven - Good points, generally polite and helpful staff, but often working alone, so there is often a significant wait. Building looks nice, if just cleaned. Bad points: Not overly friendly atmosphere. Safety: A backpack was stolen from the storage room whilst I was there and there was a man on bail, staying at the hostel. In addition there was a theft from 1 of the rooms and the prime suspect [ a local] was allowed to stay, in what appeared to be a nod to keeping occupancy up. Cleanliness: The mens on the 2nd floor had 1 broken toilet for the 3 weeks I was there and 1 shower which was permanently stuck 'on' spouting hot water ! And I saw a large rat on the outdoor deck...
- Aslom (8/5): Nice but cramped - I stayed at Bunc for three nights. Overall I had a good stay although I did raise some issues regarding front of house this was swiftly dealt with and I also received an almost immediate response by email from the hostel management which I thought was very good of them. I actually commend them on this and want to apologise to the person in question as she made a much better effort later that day. The rooms are rather cramped but being Singapore I guess space is limited. The bathroom facilities are good, decent showers too although the hooks provided in the bathroom definitely need some attention. I ventured up to what they call the kitchen area and to be honest it was not particularly clean but I put that down to inconsiderate guests rather than the hostel itself. The hostel is a big so it's very busy therefore there is a lot of traffic inside the building at most hours. The wifi is excellent, the facilities in the lobby are great with desktop computers available and in very good working order. Again, I want to reiterate that the staff are friendly and helpful and want to say thanks to the management for their email after I checked in. I would recommend this place and stay here again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Overall it was pretty decent, the only downside to this place were two of the female front desk clerks. I did not get their name and could care less, but they were not professional at all. Almost downright rude. Even a fellow traveler in my mixed dorm had the same experience as well. If you look at a few of the older reviews, they had stated the same individuals as well. Do not get me wrong the rest of the staff were very helpful
- Lina (8/5): comfortable stay - Overall property condition is great. The (ladies) bathroom are clean and comfortable. I stayed at fixed dorm, which has smell coming from certain guest (may be from hanging clothes belong to guest which has long stay). Hotel staff should pay attention to long stay guest and remind them for the source of smell. one of guest shouted at one of other guest due to spray of perfume all over the bedroom, and smell from his shoes.
- Syafiq (10/5): Perfect hostel for short and long term stay - Everything was more than I had expected. Clean rooms, friendly staffs and accomodating environment. Except that, some guests would be giving you some hard time with noises, bright light at 2-3 am. But that has nothing to do with the management of course.
- Wee Chee (10/5): If you're a backpacker, this place is the place! - The stay was made awesome. Came back twice for it. You have a choice between MS- operated computers and Macs, something we don't see it in many of the backpack hostels. there Nice and friendly staffs helped to give the good impression for the place too. There's actually too much to list down, experience it to find out more!

- Khoi (4/5): Terrible toilet, room ok, close to MRT (Rochor) - The restroom is dirty and dark. Water is leaking in the shared restroom. I couldn't use the toilet. It is located in Little India, which smells and not clean. The room is okay with air conditioner and light. However, there is no much room for your luggage and clothes. The best thing is it's close to MRT station (Rochor) with only 6 mins walking. Bugis is a little bit further. The price is cheap but I would not recommend to stay here.

- Andy (8/5): Good price, close to MRT - Overall my stay was really good, the hostel is modern and the staff were very friendly and helpful for the most part. The included breakfast was basic, put definitely still a plus, and there's a great kitchen and outdoor eating area for anyone wanting to cook their own meals. Its close to many shops, street food, and supermarkets, and less than 5 minute walk to an MRT station. Id definitely recommend staying here to anyone i know although i would say to opt out of staying in the 16 bed dorms, only for the fact that they are on the ground floor, so many don't have any windows, which makes the room feel depressing. And the ground floor bathroom is not very well ventilated so its always extremely hot and stuffy (I used the bathrooms on the 2nd floor for this reason).

We actually wanted to extend our stay and asked at the front desk only to be told it would be about three times as much as booking on hotels.com. The internet went down that night so we ended up moving. Seemed stupid to give up business like that.
- sam (10/5): - 我来补充一些信息：房间很干净，不让在房间内吃喝；房间内冷气早上十点到下午六点不开；房间内有储物柜但是不提供锁，买锁2.5新币（略贵，建议自带）；没有晾衣服的地方，有干衣机（一次4新币）；提供早餐，餐具需要自行清理。最遗憾的是前台把我安排到八人间，我订的明明是十六人间啊！八人间还只住三四个人，基本都是住一天就走，只有印度大叔陪我到最后，可是他又不是过来玩的，因此住了四晚都感觉挺无聊的，原谅我比较犯贱，嘻嘻。 There are some complementary informations: no drinking and eat in the room; the room's air condition is closed between 10am to 6pm; locker can be use in the room but u should bring by yourself or buy in the office(2.5SGD); no place can be use for hanged out clothes but u can pay for the dryer(4SGD); breakfast is provided but u should clean the tablewear after u finish.
- Tobias (8/5): Good breakfast and staff, broken aircondition - Sadly the aircondition was broken in our room and one of the fans was aimed directly against our bed which made it very cold for us and moderate cool for the room. It would have been better if the fans were moving. Luckily the staff gave us a new room so we had a good night sleep in the end. Breakfast was good. The facility was very fresh and helpful staff.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice stay, we stayed one night and were curious and happy to see that even in a backpackers, bunc hostel, we could find double beds to a very interesting price. Classic breakfast but nice anyway as its for free. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had questions about things to do and they answered us very efficiently and in a kind way. The bathrooms are nothing special but it's enough for the general everyday hygiene. Only negative moment were the room sharers who got up at 5 in the morning and switched all the lights on without turning them off once they left and who were very loud, even after asking them nicely to be a bit more quiet, but thats not the fault of the hostel but more of people behavior and manners.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hostel, close to transport - The staff were really helpful when I had to catch an early flight - I spoke to them the night before and they had a taxi waiting for me when I came down to check out in the morning. Breakfast is basic - cereal, toast, tea & coffee and the dorms are clean and comfortable. The only thing that needs improvement is right outside the bathrooms the carpet gets really wet from people not drying their feet - so your feet get wet again when you go outside

- Greg (8/5): A curfew on air con... not cool - Bunc is a nice place. Very clean, comfortable rooms, great balcony, helpful staff. Hiwever the air con is disabled during business hours (7 days), so if you have a late night, don't expect to be able to sleep in. And unlike other places, there's no communal lounge to watch tv for example.

- Swapnil Dilip (10/5): The best stay in Singapore - Bunc@Radius Little India is real value for money! I loved this concept of bunc beds hostel wherein you get to meet many new people from different parts of the world. The location is very convenient. There's a bus stop right across the street. The MRT station Bugis, is about 10 mins walking distance. From the airport it takes about 40 minutes to reach this place. If you are coming late during the night, please take the airport bus which drops you directly at the hotel. The ticket is only SGD9. Bunc has all facilities like high speed internet, breakfast and you can cook your own food too. All this is free! The staff is very friendly and courteous. I would recommend each one to stay in this hostel for a unique experience of lifetime!

- Verified traveler (8/5): 5 stays - Very good staffs, clean enough room to stay and easy breakfast. Each floor has enough number of shower rooms so you can use it any time, not crowded. Sometimes you hear noises from either up floor or down one but not uncomfortable. It'll better if each room has cooler because there are fans but you can still feel warm and humid. That was good stay anyway and staffs were really gentle.
- Simon (8/5): Good placement. - Great placement. Very big. Slight divisions between beds. Rooms smell a bit funky - seems there are only air-fresheners (apparently needed) in common areas. Common areas really nice and staff friendly (just don't look away when you put a bottle of whisky down, apparently the house keeper assumes it's his -- I got it back, as the receptionist suspected who had 'cleaned' it up).
