Guest Reviews
- Toulouse (8/5): -
- Alison (4/5): Good location but not a great place. Ok if you don't intend to spend much time in your room. - Good location. Room #3 has an outside entry at the back of the hotel and the only window that opened faced the parking lot. It did not feel safe to open the window and had little privacy
The room felt cramped and had a general 'worn' feeling about it.
- Glenna (10/5): - Wonderful location. Great room for a 'home base' while exploring the city
- Karen (9/5): Reception very friendly and helpful. Instructions clear on how to check in after hours. - Very close to all restaurants, the old town and train station which is how we travelled there. There is a parking lot if required. Old charm!
- Wendy S (6/5): Confusion about my reservation- said they had no record of reservation I made for May 10 and 11 back on April 1 although - Location. No face to face contact with staff. Phone calls frustrating - I do not speak Chinese or French. They had someone who could help - kind of.
- Pierre-Henri (9/5): -
- Caroline (7/5): -
- Sophie (8/5): -
- Mandeep (10/5): -
- Karen (8/5): -
- Fred (8/5): Overall we paid for what we got. The room was small, a bit dated but clean. Location was great. Staff was very detailed - Location was great, right next to Fontanac and minutes to many options of restaurants and stores. The room was pretty small. A queen size bed literally took up the entire room with some walk area around including a small area around the sink. Bathroom was also small with a standing shower that I kept hitting my elbows to the wall.

- Richard (9/5): -
- Brooke (8/5): Just right for one night to visit Carnaval and the Plains of Abraham - Location was great near the top of the old city Boot area not orderly. No communal sitting area in lobby
- colette (7/5): -
- alexandre (8/5): -
- Louise (7/5): - location comfortable bed clean room and bathroom TV was only cable not Smart. No movies just cable, need to be able to log in to Netflix or others
- Andrew (8/5): -

- Kristina (9/5): Perfect location, comfortable accommodations, and fair pricing. - The location was excellent. A brief walk to the shops and restaurants along the river, and even closer to scenic overlooks of Old Quebec. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the large jacuzzi tub was a welcome respite after all the walking. The private parking lot was very convenient, as was the exterior, private entrance to our rental. The staff were always readily available and helpful. The bed could have been more comfortable, and squeaked when either of us moved at night. Quebec loves their stairs, so I wasn’t surprised to see so many stairs in the house, but I was glad I never needed to use the bathroom in a hurry.
- Sumer singh (10/5): - The rooms were clean and were antique and very well maintained Every thing was pretty good but i would suggest to keep some drinking water in the room
- Anna (7/5): Despite knowing difficult acess to park in old Quebec. I would prefer to pay more and to have hotel with parking on pre - The parking is far and because of road blocks, was difficult to access it. The site mentioned parking but did not expect parking 5 minute walk especially with a handicap problem. The property is beautiful. The stairs outside at the entrance were broken and dangerous.
- Coralie (9/5): -
- Nicolas (7/5): Bon hôtel - La Localisation Le lit
- Emma (7/5): - A unique and beautiful experience. Great location, close to many things. Lovely staff! Prepare to walk a lot of stairs but it’s worth it.
- Ana (8/5): Prime location! Felt more like a Airbnb than a hotel. The deluxe room aka condo was perfect for a family of four. It was - Prime location next to the park and river view. Very close to restaurants and shops. Rooms can use some updating.
- Sabrina (10/5): - Ubicación perfecta!
- Thomas (9/5): -
- Bonnineau (8/5): Extrêmement bien situé pour le prix. Chambres rustiques mais charmantes. Le personnel est froid. -
- Rutvij Sachin (10/5): - They accommodated all our requests.
- Laura (8/5): -
- Nicole (9/5): - Everything was great!
- Elmar (10/5): Nothing could beat this location. - Location was phenomenal! Clean room and updated bathroom. Hotel with character. They had additional heaters in the room for wintertime so it was a great stay! Nothing.
- DOLORES (9/5): -
- MICHÈLE BÉLANGER (8/5): - À proximité vieux Québec; petit Champlain
- Virginie (7/5): Bel emplacement!
- Jonathan (7/5): Great location but parking not included. - The location was top notch. Everything was close which is why we chose this hotel. The front desk lady was super nice. Two people, I would recommend the bigger room with bigger bed. Tight fit One major thing was parking. I filtered my search so I can have parking and decided on this hotel. But this hotel did not have parking on site and needed to pay extra for parking. Wasn’t too happy about that but we didn’t know till we checked in that the parking was not available.
- Matt (10/5): - Bed was extremely comfortable
- Lacasse (9/5): - L emplacement
Le style rustique
La propreté.
- Pablo (8/5): -
- Juan Guillermo (8/5): Very recommended - Very convenient location if you are going to the American Consulate (literally around the corner). The area is very nice with many gastronomical options (restaurants, cafes, bars) and the views are AWESOME. I was charged 10 dollars for an extra hour of parking
- Iona (10/5): A fabulous location in a character filled comfy establishment. The staff were helpful and polite. - The room was large and overlooked the beautiful park. The bathroom was warm and clean with good shower pressure. The bed comfortable. The room was beautifully appointed and homely and cosy.
- cutillo (10/5): We absolutely loved staying at Manoir Sur La Cap. The location and staff couldn’t have been better. - Stunning views in the heart of Old Montreal City.
- Tudor (10/5): - Locatia, stilul constructiei
- Neil (7/5): -
- Melanie (9/5): - Location Bedding needed updating, pillows and bedspread
- Antoine (10/5): -
- Sophie (9/5): -
- Lanette (8/5): It was wonderful and fit our needs - Very close to lots of stuff To many stairs but that’s just me
- Geneviève (10/5): -
- Thomas (7/5): Nice stay in a a quaint hotel in a good location. - Old style / decor of the room and the hotel in general. Lack of plug sockets, room quite small. Not lift so tricky lugging up baggage three flights of a narrow staircase.
- Ayotte (8/5): -
- Sophie (8/5): -
- Marin (10/5): We had a great time and our lodging was in a perfect location for the things we wanted to see and do - It was a quaint yet modern room. Very cozy with a terrific view. Lots of stairs.
- Margaret (8/5): -
- Richard (6/5): - It's a good and reasonably priced family run hotel in a GREAT location. Its simple, and our 3rd floor room was spacious with vaulted celings. There are no elevators, no real services other than a Kuerig in the room. It was clean. TV was tiny and the soaking tub was nice.
The staff although nice, could learn to smile and say hello though.... It would make the experience so much better.
- paul (8/5): - Nice location!
- jeri (8/5): beautiful city - location plumbing
- José Victor (9/5): - Localização excelente, staff atencioso e flexível. Ótimo quarto completo com banheiro. Não tenho objeções, tudo atendeu muito bem.
- Cecilia (10/5): -
- JAMES (10/5): -
- Jean-Paul (4/5): -
- Myung (7/5): Ok - Location The space was too small
And it’s worth considering that, given the amount I paid for the stay, items like hair conditioner and a hair dryer were not provided….
- Wai Kei (4/5): - Room too small too old, not worth
- Patrick (1/5): The room and the bed were horrible. - The location was good The room was very small and outdated. The bed was old and terrible. It was so bad we could not sleep. We had a two-night reservation but we left the hotel after the first night because it was so bad.
- Alex (6/5): location is great - Great location, the hotel is a bit run down. our room was comfy for a single night but certainly needs a refresh.
- jay (7/5): Good overall - All good No parking. And parking map was unfindable!
- Luther (10/5): - Great spot. Great location.
- Eduardo (8/5): - old building
- MIRJANA (10/5): - This was a great pace to stay in the heart of the old town.
- Lada (8/5): - Thank you
- Lei (10/5): - Exceeds expectations. Have a great stay.
- Michelle (10/5): - Clean-great location
- Annette (10/5): - Such a beautiful, quaint hotel in a quiet, scenic part of town. The 56 stairs up to our room were a challenge with no elevator, but we would stay there again!
- Alba (8/5): - Great location.narrow room
- Debra (6/5): - Quaint property and staff was excellent but we paid $25 for off property parking when there was property parking in behind and we were on the top floor (4th floor) in a small room with a sink in the room and a claw foot tub taking up far too much room
- Daniel (10/5): Great stay that’s walking distance to everything. No complaints and a good price. - Quick and easy check in. A bit dated, but very clean. We had an entire condo to ourselves. Overall would highly recommend.
