• Tiffany (4/5): Room with balcony - Spacious room with balcony. Hot showers. Stay in a lower floor if you have luggage. The room was situated on a top floor. Front desk staff not very helpful or friendly. Little to no help from staff to carry bags up and down flights of stairs. Rules printed on posters everywhere with fines - felt like a school camp. Location was a bit far from main areas - will need a bike to access - taxis are expensive. Quite expensive for what it was (though it was high season). Cheaper places in main areas with more value for money.
• carole (8/5): hôtel agréable bien placé et bon accueil - super accueil … notre chambre ne donnait pas sur la route donc très calme et propre … place de parking pour scoot … chambre correct et bien équipée . très bien placé près du port pas loin des plages et restaurants au pieds de l’hôtel et 7/eleven pas loin . de plus ils font du très bon café et petit dej matelas un peu dur … et quelques taches sur les draps … et manque un peu de pression d’eau …
• Nina (10/5): - Namhasin House offers clean and cozy rooms with a balcony and bathroom - perfect for solo travelers. The staff is very friendly. They have parking sports for your bike. The island is so small that you can easily drive around and therefore it’s no problem that the accommodation is not located at the beach. This is acuatlly what I liked about. It was quit in the night. The room has a big fridge and kettle, which I liked a lot. Value for money is great and I would definitely book again. AC would be nice

La ubicación no me parece la mejor, la verdad vale la pena quedarse más cerca al puerto. • Véronique Gomez (3/5): Passé votre chemin à fuir - Rien du tout L'hôtel , très bruyant sur route passagère , odeur irrespirable dans la chambre, pas d'eau chaude, les serviettes et draps dans un état d'usure avancé, des cintres rouillés, des fils électriques non protégés, pas d'eau à dispo ni café, par contre il y a la bouilloire, a 61€ la nuit on attend un peu mieux , ah oui dernière chose pas de ménage durant les 3 jours de notre réservation, nous avons du réclamer au moins une fois le changement des serviettes. En bas de la fenêtre une déchetterie Il y a beaucoup mieux à 3 minutes de là et moitié moins cher .

• Julia (8/5): - Spacious, clean room with good AC and fan. Good wifi. Very friendly staff. Felt safe as solo traveler. The room is next to the main road so it does get noisy. Best to double check the kitchen opening times for the cafe downstairs. On posters around the property it says closing 6pm but one day I came down to eat at 4.30pm and was told the kitchen was closed.

• Paola (10/5): Me encantó. - De mis hostels preferidos en thailandia, fui alargando mi estancia hasta estar 13 noches! Personal súper amable, cómodo (la habitación era súper amplia cosa que me encanta), alejado del ruido. Es un hostel de gente tranquila, no esperes fiesta. Ofrecen desayunos completos a un buen precio. La cortina de mi cama se caía por un lado y me ponía un poco nerviosa, pero es una tontería. Si tienes el sueño ligero quizás los gallos te molestan por la mañana, pero a mi no me molestaron para nada ya que duermo muy profundamente.

• Maria (7/5): Allotjament senzill però pràctic - Està situat al mig de l’illa, a 5 minuts en moto de la part més turística. Ideal per estar tranquils. El personal molt amable, sobretot la Min, que ens ho ha fet tot molt fàcil. Instal·lacions molt senzilles i la relació qualitat-preu a l’agost ens ha semblat molt exagerada (suposem que per oferta-demanda).

• Anthony (9/5): Simple, clean and friendly. - Very friendly and welcoming owners, and they accommodated a late check in as my ferry was delayed. The rooms are simple and clean, and comfortable enough. Location is easy to get to when arriving at Koh Tao, but it is around a 20 minute walk (uphill) to the centre, and a further 30 minute walk to the area with clubs and bars. Scooter hire is available across the road for a good price, which I would recommend doing. Easy side entrance to rooms after the cafe has closed, and plenty of space to park scooters. The bathroom felt a little tired, and the mattress wasn’t the most comfortable one I’ve ever slept on, but nothing major at all.

• Victoria (10/5): Clean, staff friendly - ideal for backpackers - Spotless, rooms cleaned every 2 days with fresh towels provided. Staff very friendly, parking available on site for motorbike. The room is basic but perfect for a backpacker. Really pleased, would stay again.

• Nancy (7/5): Nice - The staff are so lovely, location is good, the room was clean with a nice big fridge, there are also two fans in the room so we weren’t overheating. You can also get a nice, simple breakfast in the cafe downstairs for a very reasonable price (around 100 baht). We found the bed to be quite uncomfortable, also there was no lamps etc so it was big light only. Also one of the neighbours keeps multiple roosters and the walls are quite thin so we were woken up a fair bit by the roosters and other customers.

• Oihana (3/5): Poor for the range in booking Eskerrik - The location to go to good beaches for snorkel. Was not AC in bedroom, so was so hot and can't sleep very well. The staff and the rules in the hotel were so hard for guest, no for the hotel. We been there 7 days, they tell us that they use to clean the rooms onece every 2 days, in 7 days they clean just onece and I should ask for the cleaning.

My room had only fans - would recommend checking when booking room has AC as hot and humid at night. As a solo traveller wasn’t a sociable stay as mainly families/couples which was fine but would not recommend if looking for this
• Molly (7/5): Lovely short stay - I was worried booking a hostel but honestly the room and building as a whole was so clean and the staff were lovely and friendly. Rooms were basic but well worth the price and in a perfect location! I had a room with a fan so the only thing I can say is it got quite hot in the evenings but that's being picky.

• Eve (7/5): Average stay - Spacious, quiet room with good aircon. Uncomfortable bed with old lumpy pillows. Location is ok if you can ride a bike, if not it’s a bit too far to walk to the town and beaches which may become costly! Compared to other places in Thailand it is quite expensive for the quality however it seems that this is the way in Ko Tao in general. Frustrating that they only take cash payments.
• Louis (9/5): Great place with very friendly host for a super fair price! Recommended! - Nice place for a very fair price. The host is superfriendly, 11/10! Always there to help if u have questions, need advice or help. The room was very spacious, a balcony, had a/c and vent (for me a very important combination in thailand). All in all, HIGHLY recommended! Many good places to have food nearby. The bathroom was like usual thai bathroom), but the light didnt work and there was some mold (didnt bother me personally). Only little problem for me is that it was a little bit noisy, because the room was at the street, but no problem with oropax.

Very quiet and good if you are wanting to work. The towels they gave us were very small. A little bigger than a wash cloth. Location was a little far from everything but with a motor bike you will be fine. Not a very social hostel but it may have just been the time I went.

Very funny too! - good sized room, nice and clean - we had breakfast one morning and was very nice - book exchange - offered suggestions for food and moped hire - fairly quiet, apart from the usual - bats and geckos! - it was unbearably hot, despite 2 fans. This was in June though - bit pricey for what it was, but may be the case for the rest of Koh Tao - shame they don’t have/arrange hire, but we found one down the road

• Ramon (10/5): Great customer service, I had a great stay. - The host was very lovely, learned my name immediately and helped me with any questions and gave me great suggestions. Great customer service. It's very central on the island, so you can basically get anywhere with a scooter within 5 minutes. There are many options to park your scooter, but not all are very easy to get on. I went for the non-AC room (my fault), which was a bit warm with only fans :-D

• Cristina (9/5): Highly recommended, for both short and long stays. - All was almost perfect (the lack of kitchen was the only downside). Hot water, spacious room, very clean, good wifi, very nice stuff, towels and bed sheets are changed every 3 days. There s a restaurant at the entrance. Another one just next door. And walkable distance to many others, to shops etc. 20 min walk to shark bay, 20 min walk to another beach, 30 min walk to the pier. Scooters can be rented just next door or across the street. The lack of kitchen. The lack of some furniture to put the clothes in the room.
