- patoibarra (10/5): Todo estuvo excelente, fue una estadía perfecta :) - Pasamos increíbles días en Sirena Insolente, fuimos a trabajar y planificar el año con mi socio, además de recorrer la zona de Punta de Lobos. Para comenzar la recepción fue muy amable y fácil. Nuestra cabaña contaba con chimenea que nos ayudaron a encender. El internet funcionaba perfecto para trabajar. Desayunamos el bowl de cereales, todo bien preparado. Limpieza y comfort. Todos los espacios del hostel están muy bien pensados y diseñados. El acceso es fácil y tiene buena ubicación. Hemos dormido muy bien, las camas muy cómodas. Recomendable 100% con ganas de volver en nuevamente.

Ventana no se podía cerrar con pestillo, por lo que se podía abrir desde afuera. Una persona borracha nos fue a tocar la puerta durante la madrugada y no pudimos contactar a nadie para que nos ayudara o retirara a la persona. Tampoco pudimos dormir mucho ya que como la ventana no tenía seguro, podían abrirla sin problema y entrar.

- Laura (9/5): Perfect Surf Hostel - Location was perfect. It was less than 1/2 mile to the beach and surfing at the point. The volunteers at the hostel were amazing! Sebastian, Pedro and Zack!! They remembered everyone’s names, they were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. We rented surf equipment and took lessons. Everything went so well. I can’t say enough about the volunteers and the staff. There were some minor issues. The staff was VERY responsive and always tried to fix any issues immediately.

- Anna (4/5): A lot of potential… wasted - - The beds are incredibly comfortable truly the highlight of my stay. - Sebastián the volounteer, a really nice guy :) - Organized a taxi last minute for me because no colectivo was around. From the start, reception felt awkward, with pressure to sign up for a breakfast other guests after reported was underwhelming and very slow. After that, I was shown my bed and left to figure everything out myself: no Wi-Fi password, no basic orientation, no local tips. I don’t need a new bestie, but the basics would have been nice. The volunteer culture was the strangest part. There are many of them, yet they seem to exist in a closed social bubble, while shared spaces suffer (except for the beforementioned Sebastián). The kitchen was often messy, the fridge barely worked and smelled questionable, and despite daily “cleaning,” the bathrooms never felt truly clean. Oh and also the door was broken so it kept opening, so cool! Especially when you‘re sitting on the toilet or taking a shower… At night, you could hear the volunteers enjoying the bonfire, which sounded fun, but after feeling largely ignored during the day, it didn’t exactly feel inviting.. It might also have been the days where I was staying there, not many people were there. There’s clear potential here, but right now the vibe is off, the hospitality inconsistent, and for the price, it’s hard to recommend.

- Paola (1/5): No te quedes aquí - Lamentablemente el lugar está muy sobrevalorado para el precio que cobran. Las instalaciones no están en buen estado, hay una cocina que está totalmente oxidada y vieja. La vajilla sucia y vieja. Hay caca de ratones en la cocina. (Ponen un cartel de control de plagas con fecha de febrero del 2024) en el baño hay olor a caca y se escucha constantemente la descarga del baño de arriba. En la habitación no hay privacidad, el piso estaba hundido y desnivelado. El techo estaba sin terminar. La tasa del baño estaba inclinada, cuando te sentabas tenía una inclinación bastante incómoda. Cuando llegamos una de las empleadas nos maltrató y fue súper desagradable y abusiva cuando le solicitamos que nos devolviera el dinero porque no nos queríamos quedar en esas condiciones y no mostró ningún de tipo de voluntad para solucionar nuestro requerimiento y nos obligó a quedarnos en un lugar horrible porque no nos quiso devolver el dinero. La playa queda a media caminando, no tiene vista al mar como ponen en el anuncio. Venden un lugar como si fuese un hotel y hay que cocinar en una cocina abierta y compartir un refrigerador viejo con otros huéspedes. Una pésima experiencia. Ojalá no le pase a nadie más lo que nos sucedió aquí.

Hubo 3 chicos que Estaban como voluntarios ELLIOT Y MIGUEL, que fueron realmente encantadores y atentos conmigo, aunque después de mi salida me enteré que a MIGUEL lo habían sacado del hostal y sinceramente se me hizo muy raro esa salida y si m preocupe y me gustaría saber el motivo porque eso deja mucho que desear....

Tiene muchas actividades para participar y un desayuno que cumple. El personal no tenía buena disposición, dejé el vehículo arriba mientras me acomodaba sabiendo que debía cambiarlo por la accesibilidad, pero me lo hacían saber a cada instante que podían, sabiendo y respondiendo que sabía que debía realizar. La habitación era helada y poca ropa de cama y sin calefacción.

- Thea (7/5): good but could’ve been better - Sirena Insolente was great overall, I enjoyed my stay. The kitchen was fab, well equipped, the breakfast was decent for CP3000 and the proximity to the beach was great. I do however think I may have had bed bugs… one to watch. The main downside of the hostel was 1, the cleanliness. the cleaning lady barely cleaned the bathroom everyday and never touched the main rooms. you could just tell it all needed a good scrub. 2, the surf school at the hostel… AVOID. The guy in charge is seriously rude and very odd with women. he was aggressive on several occasions when i was there with me and it seemed to be a common fact that he was very out of order with guests. his treatment of women in particular was horrific. i do overall recommend staying here and i would come back but save yourself the drug school experience and go to one of the places at the beach - firstly cheaper and secondly nicer people and you don’t have to carry the board all the way there. the surf school really let down the rest of the hostel.

Noisy, especially on weekends . Staff aren't surfers so not very helpful for experienced surfers. Catered more for total beginners who want lessons. Some English spoken. No shops in walking distance, lots of taxis required but they are easy to get.

V AT even though foreigners and happy to be charged in USD. She said the booking com fees are based upon them getting the additional VAT charge. eventually she agreed not to charge us VAT. communal kitchen not very clean. no ree towels to dry plates.

- Christian (10/5): Great deal next to an amazing wave. - The location is excellent, only a 15 minute walk from Punta de Lobos and great surf. Even in the off season there were enough restaurants around that I got by fine. I was there in the shoulder season so the waves weren't massive but amazing, super consistent, and uncrowded. The other surfers in the water were among the friendliest I've ever seen, none of the drama that often accompanies world class waves. The Hostel is awesome, the entire staff were super friendly, outgoing, and helpful. The room was nice, the bed was soft and warm, the shower worked great, and it was nice that it was set up with a place to store my boards, hang up the wetsuit, and rinse off. In the evening everyone would hang around the bonfire and talk, play ping pong, and chill. I was able to rent a great wetsuit from them at a reasonable price which was awesome because the water is really cold. I'm already thinking about when I can go back.

- Eva (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to stay close to the main surfing point Punta Lobos in Pichilemu. The accommodation was clean, had a good kitchen for everyone to use, fireplace where everyone would meet up in the evenings for some drinks and music. The staff was lovely and helpful with any questions that came up. I had a great time staying here, getting to know fellow travelers and spending some chill days in the town. One little disadvantage is that the supermarket is not very close to this place (~3km in distance). There is a great coffee place and some restaurants or small places to get food though.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, they even have a co-working space. It’s located a bit out of Pichilemu and if you don’t have a car, you’ve gotta walk a lot sometimes.

- Laura (10/5): Surf Haven Stay with Wonderful Staff! - I absolutely loved this surf hostel, it was beautifully build with warm wooden facilities and artsy details, instantly felt like home being there. This was also thanks to the amazing staff who were so understanding and easy to communicate with already before my stay, I arrived very late but still felt safe as the communication with reception was easy. Thanks so much for being exceptionally friendly, lovely and welcoming! The breakfast was very good with fruits and the hostel offers surf lessons as well as equipment for rent. It's located only a short walk away from Punta de Lobos Beach, really the perfect place for a relaxing getaway! Nothing really, loved the place and especially the people!

The staff were super friendly and welcoming, was an extremely good vibe there. Was very vibey when we visited, with folks from all over the globe staying there (Aus, Ireland, France, Canada, US, Brazil, Argentina, etc). They had a fire going each night to hang out and chat, which was awesome. Easy to rent surfboards there (for all abilities, not just beginners), and a mini-ramp out back.

- Elena (10/5): Everything you'd want in a surf hostel - Lovely and comfortable place with a co-working space, shared kitchen and surf school and shop. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Campfire and plenty of opportunities to socialize. The dog, Mia, is a big ol' sweetpea. The breakfast hours were pretty limited, so if you plan to go for a morning surf session, you probably can't do both.

- Conor (5/5): has a lot of potential but is falling apart I reckon - Breakfast was great and the hostel vibe was on point. It's a large space with a lot to do. From charging fro WIFI to an expensive surf shop I thought they were nickel and dime'ing us. There was one stove for around 50 guests. It was hard to cook. The bathrooms were not cleaned regularly and often were dirty. But for us the worst part was our rooms door didn't shut as it was broken, leading to us being eaten alive by mosquitos daily. In our four days there door was not fixed and we got very little sleep due to the humming of mosquitos. Biggest catch of all 30+ min walk to surf.

- Amanda (10/5): Wonderful vibes, really awesome place. - Definitely a great place to stay and share with the other guests and the staff. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, and we had a great time hanging out by the bonfire getting to know the other guests. The beds were comfortable, shower was clean and had good water pressure, and breakfast was good.
