Guest Reviews
- Antonio (10/5): -
- Gareth (7/5): Property is in a great secluded location but would benefit from upgrades and improved room cleaning. I expected a little - Location of this property was fantastic and great to relax on the beach beside the sea. Parts of the property are dated and the room wasn’t the cleanest.
- Stephen (10/5): -
- CHARLES (9/5): We had a great stay over NYE and will be back! - We had a great stay at Turtle Cove. Amazing views, private and secluded, the accommodation is simple but clean and the bed was comfortable. Their new approach of bringing your own food and alcohol was great. It’s very well organised with dedicated spaces for your food and lots of cooking equipment. Everyone is very friendly and we met lots of other fun people. Nathan and Julian are lovely and super helpful! Internet is limited but it was also nice to disconnect so wasn’t really an issue.
- Norman (8/5): - Very secluded. Beautiful spot
- Jeffrey (10/5): -
- Orlando (10/5): -
- Olinka (10/5): Loved it - Location and facilities beaches and isolation Nothing
- Lovass (10/5): -
- Rohan (8/5): Still the most beautiful place to stay in Cairns - It really is one of the most beautiful locations in the Cairns region. Nathan & Julien always go out of their way to make their guests comfortable.
Quite nude beach on site and busy nude beach 20 mins away.
Everyone is always so chill and friendly here. Was a bit sad to see the kitchen & bar close down there but we also saved heaps by bringing our own food & drinks as kitchen and bar are available for guests to use!
- Mark (10/5): A great relaxed getaway where I could connect with my love and disconnect from my stress - It was relaxed and informal rather than fully catered. However, everything was there that we needed. It was such a chill getaway Maybe just more food staples to purchase like cheese etc, which we forgot to bring
- Tyler (9/5): -
- H2923ORdebs (10/5): Refreshing - As a heterosexual coupke we felt so privileged to be welcomed into this piece of paradise. It was refreshing to make ourselves at home, cook our own food, pour our own drinks and swim in the pool or hot tub 24/7. Julian was a wonderful host and nothing was too much to ask for. In rhe current Australia we live in with so many rules, this resort had only one. Keep your clothes on around the food!!! Where else can you go these days that is so liberating. We will be back Edi and Deb xx
- Jordan (10/5): -
- Deborah (10/5): Peace and relax - Environment, nature I loved everything
- 769janekp (10/5): Best gay getaway in Australia - Just back from another magical stay at Turtle Cove, and I can honestly say it remains one of the most special places on earth. The moment you arrive, the stress of the outside world simply melts away. There are so few places left where you can truly relax, be yourself, and connect with like-minded people in such a welcoming, private and safe environment. Turtle Cove is all of this.
The team here always go above and beyond. They’re not only warm and hospitable but also have a wonderful way of bringing everyone together, creating such a friendly and communal atmosphere. I had wondered if the recent changes might affect the shared dining experience, but it’s actually better than ever. Meals feel like family gatherings, with guests from all around the world coming together, sharing stories, and forging friendships.
Turtle Cove really is our little slice of paradise, and it’s so important that we continue to support it so it stays that way for years to come. I can’t recommend it highly enough and I’m already counting down the days until my next visit.
- Carlos (7/5): A good and friendly stay, but understaffed. Facilities need improvements. Pricing should be adjusted to what they can of - -Private beach
-clothing optional space
-hot tube -breakfast
-location and services
-cockroaches
-A/C not working
- Streppel (10/5): Staff and very friendly and just had a ball there I loved it - A beautiful location and just peaceful.
- Pamela (6/5): - The staff were amazing! It was almost a mini United Nations. Rooms and commonr
- A175WCjordanw (10/5): - It’s my new favourite place in the whole world! Location is perfection! The staff welcome you with open arms and do everything to make sure you’re enjoying your holiday! Cannot recommend this place enough!
- Dennis (10/5): -
- Dean (8/5): Very good - Very isolated and relaxing
- Michael (7/5): A bit of a let down - Out of the way - private. Has its own beach. Property needs upgrading. Didn't realise the property was close to the main road between Cairns and Port Douglas. So semi-trailers when breaking made alot of noise.
Beach furniture were not look after and no cushions provided. The spa totally needed resealing as the small pebble finish was coming apart, dangerous and uncomfortable. Breakfast time is to late and you have to pay for coffee, which should be included. If the proprietor was so worried about using the coffee machine, then install a pod machine, so guests can use at their leisure. Whilst there was only a dozen people or so staying at the Property, nothing was done to make their stay more enjoyable, particularly after what I read about the place and all the goings on there.
No material in the room about hotel facilities, contact numbers etc. Nothing about day trips and other attractions around the area. There was a book in the room about the area and it had pages missing.
Sorry about going on, however when you pay alot of money for what you get, one is disappointed.
I found a couple of other guests were of similar thoughts.
- E7072THaaronw (10/5): Must do gay-stay bucket list. - Felt white lotus - ish, in the best possible way. Loved the whole resort, going to sleep to the sound of crashing waves and with the moon reflecting on the coral sea. I stayed in cheapest room and even this was fabulous. Food brilliant and bar staff amazing and friendly. A perfect place to stay (except no wifi/phone service).
- Aaron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vaidas (10/5): Best relaxing place to stay in nature - Amazing stay in the Turtle Cove surrounded by nature. So relaxing with private beach and chill areas next to the hotel! This is the spot if you want to stay out of touristy full of people places. The stuff were super friendly. Nothing.
- F3762HHmarkt (8/5): Great Concept But Not Well Maintained Or Serviced - Great concept but a little tired and run down now. Staff are very friendly but quite inefficient. Half-hearted attempts to service the room resulted in no made bed and way too many towels. No coffee (had to request some), no replacement shower gel (tiny tube only lasted two days), iced up freezer. The room was high end beach front yet it was very run down and quite dirty (see photos). I had to ask for a replacement pillow as it was extremely stained. The old mattress left me with neck and back pain the entire week. Springs poking through, disguised with a mattress topper. Moth eaten drapes, rusted overhang causing a curtain of water when it rained. Breakfast was reasonable when there were supplies - had to ask for milk (only got lactose-free), salt, sugar.
Got an odd answer when we asked if we can use one of the barbecues of, "Yes and no" with a convoluted explanation about changes happening the following month that made no sense. Not worth the discussion so, we just ate out.
A little more care is needed in maintaining this place and training to staff on how to service rooms. Beware the peacock who may try to steal your food.
- Dean (7/5): Good -
- Callum (9/5): A beautiful, fun, welcoming stay! Would recommend. - Such a beautiful location. Staff were amazing and a really welcoming, friendly environment. Good location to explore Port Douglas and Palm Cove too There’s definitely some elements which are dated, but my room (which was upgraded) was in such a great spot on the beach.
- Garth (7/5): Good - Beach location and totally private. Was really quiet and made it feel a little odd.
- Antony (7/5): Good -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (8/5): Very good - Our room was only cleaned once in the 4 days we were there.
- Ann (10/5): The staff here is top notch! Great stay for our honeymoon! - We loved the location, the property and the staff.
- Paul (9/5): Superb - Staff were very helpful and happy. Food was grate. Location
- Jeremy (7/5): Good -
- Brian (7/5): Good - The beach the pool, the room and Most of the bar staff friendly
- Clinton (9/5): Will definitely stay again! - Amazing location and quiet! So relaxing. Nothing!!!
- Randall (9/5): Relaxing and friendly - This is a wonderful retreat with a great staff and very comfortable surroundings. The owners are active in the operation and greet you by name and making sure everything is to your liking There is a large pool and hot tub for relaxation and plenty of lounge chairs. The large bar and restaurant have ample seating so you never feel your cramped. You can socialize or do your own thing. My only negatives are the wi-fi on site is spotty, sometimes it works well other time not. It does not seem to have good coverage in the beach front rooms. The other thing is, and this is mentioned by others the showers are not fully enclosed so if you don't want water all over the bathroom use caution where you aim the shower head.
- Matthias (9/5): Superb -
- Darryl (7/5): I would stay there again - Staff were very friendly
Dinner menu was good
Bar was good Location was bad
Breakfast was poor
Rate was high
- Mehmet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (8/5): Lovely spot terrible attitude towards loud music . We went there for a quite time - Great scenery nice and relaxing The Fing loud music it's over the top .
2 nights running we were sitting finished our dinner and so fwit turned up the music LOUD couldn't hear the person next to me .
It's very discourteous.
I would suggest for everything that is nice about the
Facility that leaves a bad taste in my mouth about the stay .
I won't be going back
- Allan (10/5): Exceptional - Beach front Nothing
- Charles (10/5): A taste of paradise - I loved the location, right on the beautiful beach, set in tropical vegetation, with birds moving around the branches, singing and swawking.
The public areas such as the bar, swimming pool and spa were lovely and well maintained.
The food and drinks were excellent, an interesting menu for very reasonable prices and imaginative cocktails.
The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and they ensured a smooth check in when I arrived late to my room.
The atmosphere is very friendly as typified by the dinners with other guests on the long tables.
- Jamie (4/5): Never rely on a lovely memory - its always disappointing - The beach was lovely - the staff friendly when we arrived and helpful - and that's where it stopped. I dont feel its appropriate to give my personal opinion - suffice to say this is our last stay here.
- Penny (10/5): Hidden paradise - Wow, what a unique hidden gem! We were so privileged to stay here. Thank you!
This is the perfect place for a very special time in a stunning location. There is great respect for others.and everyone is welcome. You can just have a quiet time or do what you want. The staff were very kind and helpful.
Lovely atmosphere, great food, amazing sun rises, beach walk, look for nature, beautiful pool and spa.
Recommend beach front units.
It was very quiet when we were there.
- Vladau (8/5): Romantic location on secluded beach - Perfect location, friendly staff, breakfast included, good facilities, great atmosphere, great setup of outdoor hammocks and tables and chairs self made breakfast is a good idea but some basics like cheese were missing
it was too much chlorine in the spa so everyone had teary eyes when the spa was running
- Escape13767598854 (6/5): Time has taken a toll - If you are a member of the LGBTI community, then Turtle Cove is a great place to meet other in the community, and spend time in a beautiful location. It is however very tired and in need of a makeover. The bathrooms particularly are problematic. The showers are not closed in, and the small room floods, which takes forever to dry out or until the room is serviced. Rooms aren’t serviced during a party weekend. The staff were very friendly, and the food at dinner very good. Breakfast very basic, and as there is nothing nearby, it requires a drive if you want something else. Pool and spa excellent, as is the location. For two days there was constant noise of chainsawing, leaf blowing and nail gunning on the roof. Not conducive to relaxing. On my last night, the Manager entertained the guests with an exotic pole dance display. While fun, not sure thats what I expect from management of a resort. I suspect Turtle Cove once a high end resort, but time and events have reduced its charm.
- Rita (9/5): Wonderful location! - Great location, managers and staff were very helpful and generous. Great food. Nothing but if wanting quiet nights you need to check when events are on as they like to party.
- Samuel (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sergey (9/5): Beautiful location and excellent staff - A wonderful location. Beautiful scenery.
In particular, we really appreciated the work of all the staff at the resort. Everyone was very friendly and approachable. Any issues were resolved promptly.
We made friends with lots of guests as well.
We will be back. There are beautiful peacocks roaming on the property. It's absolutely lovely. However, they leave poo just about everywhere. It was not a big problem for us though. Just need to watch where you stand after a few drinks.
- Peter (8/5): Very good - Staff very attentive, great service throughout. They really take the time to get to know guests, and provide a personalised service
- Jonathan (3/5): Overpriced rundown resort - The staff were very friendly and the beach front location was great. These were the only positive aspects of the resort. The resort is run down. It very disappointing that no effort has been made to upgrade the rooms and beds were terrible. I fully understand the value of an adult gay resort that it offers a safe space for the LGBTQ community. However, I do feel that they have taken advantage of the community by the over priced accommodation and average food at the resort. I barely ate my meals as quality was appalling with a price tag of $35 for sausages and mash potatoes. I’m so sorry and feel bad that i wouldn’t recommend staying at this resort for what you pay for.
- ellayogi23 (10/5): Paradise and Peacocks - This place is a hidden piece of paradise! Just heavenly. There are not many LGBTQ+ resorts that welcome allies, so as a heterosexual couple- we felt absolutely blessed and lucky to be able to stay here and enjoy the privacy of this incredible cove from our beachfront room. Peacocks roamed around, gorgeous paperbark trees line the private beach and there is a clothing optional beach too further down. Food was yum and cocktails were refreshing! Best of all- no children!
- V8707JUnormanc (10/5): Wonderful place, wonderful staff - If you are after an inclusive LGBT+ resort to stay in that offers beautiful food, stunning beach views and wonderful friendly staff then Turtle Cove is for you. We opted for a beachfront apartment and the extra cost is so worth it, waking up to the Pacific Ocean with palm trees and lush gardens was to die for. Jules and Nathan were amazing hosts as well as Tuile and Georgia who were exceptional ! We also had the pleasure of sampling Chef Jack's food which was divine. Considering we were among the first guests to check in to Turtle Cove after Cyclone Jasper we were blown away (pardon the pun) by everything.
Beautiful resort, delicious food and stunning nature...what isn't to love. The staff were simply amazing, could not have done enough for us.
Side note- Turtle Cove is situated in the Rainforest so nature will be there in abundance so be sure to be at ease with all things critters because, after all, you are holidaying in their natural habitat.
Norman and Marty
- 784jacksonr (10/5): Incredible stay at a inclusive Queer Resort - Amazing time, with all that happened with the Cyclone, Julian, Nathan and the team went above and beyond to make it work, and give us the best experience ever. The resort is stunning, food and drinks delish. New years was so much fun, and we had a blast. Honestly this Queer space is so inclusive and 1 of a kind in Australia. Honestly if you want to have the best time ever, with people that treat you like family, book! This resort has it all 🌈
- IBH68 (10/5): So many laughs - We had so much fun! Nathan, Jules and Kelvin were just the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much. Laying out on a sun bed on their private beach was perfect. Chef Daniel rustled up great lunches and dinners and the wine selection was varied. There was even a peacock, peahen with their babies all in residence. Many thanks Turtle Cove for a memorable stay. X.
- Nicholas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fajar (10/5): Home away from home. - VERY FRIENDLY host/staff and accomodating. Made friends along the stay which was wee bit too short for us. Very comfortable area. One of the Highlights of our stay was the beautiful peacock that made us doesnt feel like we’re in Australia. Would love to stay there again when there’s an event happening. If you don’t have a car, it’ll be a trouble for u to get around but hey, we do have ours! ;)
- Sara (8/5): Super welcoming and fun - Amazing staff who make you feel incredibly welcome. The rooms are on the older side but clean and comfortable and have everything you need, including fridge. Breakfast was self serve and has everything you'd want. It's twenty minutes outside of Port Douglas but you will need a car to explore this part of the world, anyway so not an issue.
- Sunshine17797050756 (10/5): Amazing Stay - The resort was fantastic. Clean amenities, friendly and welcoming staff who made sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. Food was excellent and expertly served. Stunning views from the room and the room we stayed in was comfortable and clean. The management team of Nathan and Jules were very friendly, funny and personable. It was one of the best stays we had and will be returning to relax and enjoy the best resort experience in Australia. Having a safe place that is both peaceful and respectful to cultural safety and broad diversity, where LGBTQI+B/S can be themselves is of such great value and we commend Nathan and Jules for providing this space. 10/10 from us, without hesitation. Thanks for everything! - Dan and Mikey
- Christopher (8/5): Paradise - Location is second to none. Awesome staff. Food is incredible. Room is a little tired and bed could do with an upgrade, but perfectly comfy. Didn’t spend much time in the room anyway
- mtedney (4/5): Not the greatest stay…not good value for money. - Moth-riddled curtains. No shower walls that left the bathroom flooded each time you showered. Slow service in the restaurant and prices are very high for mains. Staff friendly but require a great deal more training. Local wildlife are borderline pests….getting precariously close whenever food is around. Rooms were not hygenically clean…filthy under beds and above eye level. Found a couple Huntsman near and around the bathroom.
- Jared (10/5): Amazing place, heaps of fun! - What an amazing place, such a good place to chill if that is you are wanting or party if that is what you are wanting.
The rooms are well equipped with everything you need and the pool/ bar area helps to allow for guests to meet each other. The managers are so fun and very accommodating. The location was beautiful so secluded so very private feels like you are in your own little oasis. I made the mistake of not hiring a car from cairns, defiantely hire a car if you plan on doing some exploring.
- paulnw2023 (10/5): Our stay at TC in September 2023 - We recently had 5 days at Turtle Cove , we should have had more .
Nathan & Julian are great host & go out of their way to make sure you have a fabulous time .
The staff are friendly , professional & always up for a chat .
Dinner time is always a good time to meet new friends.
We enjoyed our time so much we have rebooked for Easter 2024 .
Paul , Ian & Sheldon
- anthonybD4813BU (4/5): Didn’t meet my expectation - Secluded resort with beautiful beach.
The resort (rooms in particular) is in need of a good renovation, shower has no shower screen and water goes everywhere!
Rooms were cleanish, but lots of bugs (to be expected given it’s amongst trees and nature).
The staff were friendly on phone during the booking process, however at arrival not so friendly!
The resort accommodation, facilities and staff didn’t meet our expectation and we didn’t feel welcome or comfortable. We booked alternative accommodation immediately the next day.
Sadly I think the resort is living in yesteryear and really needs a modern makeover.
- Diego (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (3/5): Place to sleep and leave as soon as possible - Nice location, staff were very Fri friendly Bathroom was disgusting, yellow / mould stains in the grout and no shower curtain or screen, the bathroom ends up like a dirty lake. Place is in bad shape overall very old and screens / doors have holes in them and in disrepair. Place looks like it hasn’t been renovated since the 90’s and really needs to be renovated. Basically feels very dirty staying here.
Bed and sheets were okay, the rest was not nice.
- Kathleen (10/5): From greeting to departure the staff were so warm and friendly - Fantastic natural location teeming with wildlife, I particularly enjoyed watching the turtles swimming close to shore in the cove. The rooms are dated however that is of no consequence in this setting.
- toandfromtheairport (6/5): Lovely spot, awful staff - The location of this resort is absolutely perfect. The beach is clean and almost completely deserted. It is a delight to wake up in this incredible place.
However, the accommodation is in dire need of an upgrade. The plumbing in the bathroom is primitive with no shiower screen, so each time you shower, the entire room is flooded.
The staff are generally quite rude with little or no customer service skills.
Any complaints are met with an argument.
The staff tend to join the guests in the hot tub in the evening which seems a little inappropriate.
The food is not bad at all.
There is no shop or other services for miles around, so bring everything you need like snacks toiletries and sun cream.
I would love to return to this amazing location but am put off by the staff and the accommodation.
- Steve (4/5): If it were possible to give a rating of minus 1, I would. - The main attraction was the location. One member of staff was highly argumentative reducing patrons to tears and caused more than a few patrons to ultimately leave the area. Even though the other staff are okay, the unacceptable behaviour of the staffer in question, ruined the entire holiday experience. It was horrible.
- Marcia (10/5): Wonderful amazing and fun - The staff the location the views everything about the resort is friendly fun and laid back. Looking forward to going back again Nothing
- Jose (8/5): Very good -
- zachv1124 (10/5): Great secluded and unique property! - We stopped by the Turtle Cove resort to grab a drink, check out the property and beach. We ended up booking an impromptu night stay. The staff, room, pool, hot tub and game of pool were all enjoyable! Great stargazing opportunities too.
- JamesT208 (10/5): Amazing Stay 10/10 - An LGBT Oasis we must protect - Perfect for Friends / Solo Travelers / Partners - MUST Visit! - Amazing Stay!! Special thanks to the team. I brought my mate from New York (Via Sydney) to stay for three days. And it could not have been more perfect! Julian & Nathan the Managers are so friendly and fun along with all the staff Chef Matt, Niall & Roman it is like one big family. Always here to help with a smile, felt like long lost friends after the weekend.
I Stayed three days and wished I have stayed a week. The room was perfect for two friends I recommend paying more for a View (Worth It).
At night we danced the night away on the dancefloor, and all day we sat drinking cocktails by the pool. I couldn't think of a more perfect Gay holiday.
Have already planned future trips after all my friends after they saw my social media stories, and hopefully, plan on bringing most of Sydney with me. To this LGBT oasis, it was so freeing to be in such a respectful & friendly environment... and fun (And I have personally run hotels for 10 years and not felt like this before in any of my own properties)
Like just about every guest I met during my stay, I will be back Every Year and more if I can get away. (Most other guests I met told me they had stayed 3 up to 8 times before )
Perfect for Solo travellers or Partners as well, my next trip I will come Solo there were so many lovely people travelling Solo to chat, share dinner and laugh with.
Wish I could come in April to celebrate your 30th anniversary of the Resort!
Many thanks
- DanAndLubaAndJohn (10/5): A friendly and beautiful resort directy on the beach - We stayed at the resort in early November and enjoyed it immensely. Sadly, we booked events outside the resort during each day, so we did not get to fully enjoy the beach and the pool but the time we were there was great.
1. Beautiful location
2. There was a party on Saturday night in which a group meal was prepared (with 2nds being no problem) and a bunch of us sitting together at one table talking (and more importantly - drinking).
3. There was a big peacock there to inspect your room should you simply leave the door open.
4. The staff was exceptionally helpful and pleasant.
5. We do not represent the clientele for which this resort caters to normally, but it seems that the resort is amenable to ALL people, which is often the case in such places.
6. The room and the facility were all quite wonderful.
We would stay here again.
One note: Get your directions to this resort before you lose cell coverage getting there. You will lose cell coverage on the road. The resort is down a windy hill and has a small rainbow flag near the road.
- Dymseg (8/5): Very good -
- Symone (10/5): Amazing destination - Staff were so friendly and accomadating, felt comfortable every moment we were there, food was amazing.
- helenlZ5187RF (10/5): Unplanned visit 🚘 💥 - My partner and I were in a car accident on the highway and we waited for our cab at the resort. We were welcomed with open arms, explaining the situation of what had happened. They offered us a roof over our heads for the night if needed, asked what they could do to help us out in anyway. Shouted us a drink on the house to relax. We really appreciated the love and support provided after a not so nice situation! Thankyou again ❤️
- Glenn (6/5): Pleasant -
- Derek (9/5): Superb - Very personal and lovely staff❤️
Dinner set up with large tables enable single traveller to meet people easier😜 All pretty good actually
- Keith (8/5): Relaxing. - Location was excellent. Lovely beach. Staff were great. A better menu would be nice. Food was cooked very well though. I realise they had chef leaving.
- Benjamin (10/5): Fabulous holiday for everyone!!! I made great friends. - I could easily skip the continental breakfast. Stole an apple or 2 to bring up to my room. I loved the atmosphere, the new friends, just about everything! I had to go home.
- Georgia (8/5): Very good -
- 113Jamesd (10/5): Awesome stay at Turtle Cove - I highly recommend a stay at Turtle Cove, whether you are LGBTI or a straight couple - the place and people are welcoming to all and everyone just chills and has a great time. Loved the food and the great atmosphere. The private beach is just amazing. This place is a piece of heaven, just beautiful and tranquil. The staff and management are amazing. The biggest appeal will be the down to earth vibe -everyone is just so friendly and unpretentious and truly make you feel at home.
- Jeffrey (9/5): Superb -
- georgefK7803SL (10/5): Great place to relax and meet new friends - Had a great stay. This is the third time we have visited. The last two times were many years ago, prior to the current owners. Great location, relaxing environment and we were in luck with perfect weather. The best part are the guests you meet who were all very friendly. A very excepting place that is inclusive and welcoming and this attracts beautiful people who treat each other with respect. The accommodation does need a little love, that is true to say, time and the tropics takes its toll but it is comfortable and reasonably priced and clean. Food is good quality and consistent. The paella night was really good too and danced the night away afterwards.
There is something really special about this place.
- chrislI3236MV (10/5): Absolute paradise - My partner and I had an 11 night stay. We throughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are very friendly and interactive and make you feel welcome from day one, the boutique experience is great value for money, the food was also fantastic and they have a top quality chef.
I do love the inclusivity and that everyone is welcome no matter what your sexual orientation is. We made some lovely new friends, straight and gay couples and we will definitely be back.
- andrewc09588tv (10/5): Fab long weekend at Turtle Cove - Me and the Mrs headed to TC without any real expectations. Sure we had read reviews. We normally disregard the really good ones and the really bad ones. (humans will always complain about something).
I guess we would be classed as allies. We were looking for a no kids laid back, naturist resort and this fitted the bill. It’s not a naturist resort as such but we were clothing optional at any opportunity.
Our hosts Nathan and Julien set the tone. Super friendly, chatty and casual.
The thing we really liked were the people. A good mix of male and female and we soon made friends with a small group. Other resorts don’t have this, people tend to keep to themselves. We enjoyed hanging out, dining, dancing and laughing, there was lots of that.
There are 3 beaches within walking distance, we swan el natural every day and went on a long walk/ swim one afternoon to the southern beach.
If you are not fussy about demanding 5 star and can put up with a few minor hiccups and you like meeting friendly people who do not judge, then this place will not disappoint. H and A.
