Für mich kein Problem, aber es ist definitiv nicht Barrierefrei weil ein liebevoll restauriertes Poggio 😃

Parking on the street is almost impossible, but in the next building you can rent garage place in a guarded underground parking house (not cheap). The apartment is approx. 15 minutes walk from Ponte Vecchio and Pitti.

• Farhan (6/5): The apartment is good for short stays, for someone who spends most of their time out. - Carla is an extremely nice, kind and accommodating host. On arrival day she met us at midnight to check us in as our train was very delayed. Despite the late hour, she carefully explained all the best places to visit in the city and gave us amazing tips and advice that we absolutely don't regret following. Whenever we had any questions or needed any help she was quick to respond. The room we were staying in was very dark and there was a little counter space in the kitchen. Moreover the place has very distinct smell and I would not recommend to someone with asthma.

Enough space for a family of 4, very warm apartment, good sound isolation, nice beds and pillows. Carefour express within 5 min. For taxi always use appTaxi ( local app for calling taxi ), uber is +30%. Laundry room is excelent for more the ln a few days in the city. -

Manager who meet us was very helpful and friendly, showed us around the property and gave us info on the area. Couple of good restaurants in the next street over (Mila Pizzeria and Porta Romana). Unit was quiet and comfortable. Shower is smallish but was fine and had good water pleasure. Very nice to site outside and plan our days we stayed for 6 nights and would highly recommend these units. Nice 15-20 minute walk to the city Center with some good places for coffee and Cornetto on the way.. No issues really recommend this place.

The check in/check out was seamless and easy. If I come back to Florence, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
• Ann (9/5): We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the lovely older style apartment with its beautiful terrace. - We loved being in a more open and relaxed environment looking at trees only about a 15 minute walk away from the busy-ness of Florence. The apartment is very close to the outstanding Boboli Gardens as well as to a number of enjoyable restaurants and cafes. Our host Clara went out of her way to share info about Florence and to help us with anything we needed.
• Brian (6/5): This was OK - reasonable value for money in a very busy and pricey city. Hosts do their best. - The apartment itself was a bit drab but everything was provided. Stairs to the mezzanine were difficult for my elderly friend. Noise - could hear next door talking even at normal volume.
• M (10/5): A beautiful home away from home in Florence. It made us want to come back and stay longer! - The location was stellar. Before Poggio, we stayed near San Lorenzo in the heart of Florence. We decided to come here to spend a few nights in the Oltrarno. The location was serene, less congested with tourists, and easily walkable to all major sightseeing stops. The accommodations were above and beyond. Charming, roomy and quiet. Well furnished. The host was extremely helpful and kind. We will definitely stay here again. Getting the keys was a little challenging because we didn’t understand the office entrance was on the street below the apartments. Once we connected with our host by What’s App, she was quick to respond and meet us.

Perhaps Booking co needs more details for each. Also be aware that twin beds will cost you extra which was later explained to us.
• Rejinder (9/5): Superb - Charming property and true to the photos. Clara is an excellent host. In residential part of Florence but easily walkable to central area.

Location is perfect, not extremely touristic, quiet neighborhood with local cafes and restaurants and still 20 minutes walking from the historical center. Public transport is also an option if you are not into walking.

• Bridget (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful place to stay with a lot of character, great layout. Clean and good communication from hosts. I would stay here again if coming back to Florence. It's about a 25 minute walk to get to the other side of the river and a lot of the main sites in Florence, so not right in the middle of it all, but for me, it was no problem. There are many great sights and restaurants nearby too (and buses to get around easily)

The location was perfect because it was away from the touristic city center but still walkable to all of the sites. It was private, secure and quiet. There are clothes washing machines and dryers. And best of all, there was great water pressure and temperature for a nice shower . We will definitely be back.

Great food, great wines, wonderfully warm people! - The apartment is spacious and well equipped with all that one needs for a short stay. Location is great. Pretty central though you need to walk at least 15-30 minutes to get to all the sites. I didn't mind as I wanted to have the long walks to and from the city center. Clara the host is awesome and attentive and gave me a few great tips on which places to visit and where to eat. The street outside the apartment is pretty busy and not as quiet as I would have liked. With the windows closed, one doesn't hear much of the cars at night but it gets a bit stuffy with the windows closed. Cleaning is only done once every 7 days. Not ideal given booking.com says there's daily cleaning. In any case, you can get fresh towels and additional toilet paper upon request.

• Alex (10/5): Exceptional - I was delayed coming back to Florence from a day-trip to Siena. My phone battery had run-out, too. But, Clara left her phone number for me at her office, and I was able to get help making a call to reach her. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful. On my trip to Italy this summer, I visited Rome for 2-days of work and the rest was personal vacation. After Rome, I visited Florence, Siena, Venice, Milan, and Lake Como. My favorite part of this trip was staying in Florence, and it was largely because I found Poggio Imperiale Apartments.

• Rohan (10/5): Perfect place for a few nights in Florence. - Very cute Italian style apartment with a small private patio and a big shared terrace. Within walking distance of the river. Secure paid parking available. No complaints.
• Audrey (8/5): Good location ok room - We loved the location. The best restaurants of our whole trip are in walking distance and it is away from the tourist bustle without being too far. Strong cigarette smoke smell in the room even though she pointed out it was a non smoking room and it was hard to get in touch with the host poor communication.

• Keith (8/5): Enjoying Florence in your way, in your own time, with real Italy on your doorstep. - Self-catering. Outside patio for sitting and breakfast. Good supermarket reasonable walk away. Walk into centre so never needed to use public transport or taxis. Uffizi, Boboli Gardens and Pitti Palace easy walk away. Two good nearby restaurants, one pizzeria one more up market. Accommodation was good, but missing that final touch for excellence. Would use again.

• Aadil (5/5): Passable - The location was good for those that don't want to be amidst the noise of the city. The apartment is quite dated with limited amenities beyond the basics. The beds however were quite uncomfortable. Two single beds were pushed up against each other rather than a double bed being provided but the two mattresses were of differing wear, one being much worse than the other. Ventilation is also not great and it can get quite stuffy in the heat.
• Godwin (8/5): Very enjoyable stay and we will book the same apartment if we visit Florence again. - The location is very good and bus transport and taxis are close. The area is quiet. The lady who met us to hand over the keys was very helpful.

• Natalja (9/5): very comfortable stay not far from the city centre - The apartment was really good for one person. Very spacious. It had heating, which was important even in mid-April. The water flow and temperature were really good. The location was nice and quiet. About 20 mins walking distance from Ponte Vecchio. The host was amazing. First of all, she was quick to reply to my message on booking.com before I actually booked the property. Secondly, she organised an early taxi for me to go to the airport and helped with any questions that i had. I can't say these are the things that I didn't like because they weren't important for me. But they may matter for someone else. The stove didn't work. Though I'm sure the host would've fixed that if I'd asked. There was no kettle so I used the coffee machine to boil the water. The host offered to buy me a kettle, but my stay was short so it wasn't necessary.

She advised good restaurants and places to visit and everything we needed. There was a nice yard to enjoy a cup of coffee. The city center was 10-15 minutes walk away. N/A

• James (8/5): This is a very good choice if you want to stay in Florence - The location was in a quiet area of Florence. Nearby we had all the shops, bars we needed, and it was very close to the historic centre.
• Mando (9/5): Superb - The appartment is located within a beautiful villa, near Porta Romana. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Carla, the host, met us at our arrival to give us the keys and spend some time meeting us, as well as, providing us tips on places to visit. Thank you for being such a nice and kind host Carla! We would suggest that the plastic plates and cups are replaced with re-usable ones.
• Mark (8/5): good location, easy to walk to centre, nice restaurants and facilities very close - spacious, great for one of us working while other was on vacation, good for self catering. host was very pleasant and helpful. quite a lot o& traffic noise although not a problem when doors and windows were closed.

• Maria (10/5): Beautiful and spacious apartment with everything you need. - We had the best stay here, the apartment was everything we'd hoped for - lovely decor, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, with the most charming terrace. Clara was extremely helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed all of her recommendations for the city. It made a huge difference to our experience.
• Jerome (9/5): Very nice stay at a short walk to all tourist attractions - Very central location nearby all amenities and at a short walk to the historic centre. The apartment is very comfy but the style my not be to everyone's taste. We went by car and it wasn't easy to park. We should have asked our host far in advance a place in the local garage.
