• Hester (10/5): - Prachtige locatie en verblijf. Keurig appartement. Wat wij ook erg prettig vinden is het dat het er vrij rustig is. Geen herrie. De drukte kan je opzoeken, en als je wilt slapen is het fijn als het rustig om je heen is Er was 1 minpuntje wat ik eigenlijk nog had willen melden bij de receptie maar dat ben ik vergeten. Het matras is aan vervanging toe. Er zat een kuil in het midden waardoor het niet zo lekker sliep.

Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Een prettig zwembad. Eenvoudig in de buurt een auto te huren om het eiland verder te verkennen. Misschien naast de tennisbaan een kleine sport/fitness accommodatie.

Restaurant by the main pool is great for lunch small bites or we had a besutiful evening meal too. Breakfasts are fantastic fresh and good value @ €11 as such a good fresh variety. We had a fantastic view over the sea and lovely balcony to sit on. 3 pools, quite a chilled vibe all very clean and no issues beds. So helpful and friendly from the maintenace, cleaners cooks who iften dont get a mention. Reception and the restaurant are so helpful and friendly in a family style. Relaxing. Koutouloufari itself is a gem of a place, worth a walk to old Hersonissos too. Easy to explore or just chill at pool with wonderful family run tavernas and bars 10 minute stroll away. With a really good value soa at bottom of street. The hotel cater for their many returning and less mobile guests so kindly as it is on a steep hill. Which is often lacking in larger and "luxury" style places. Absolutely fantastic. If you want chilled rekaxed and friendly. Will definitely be back

• Steve (7/5): Nice Apartments, great staff, Great Location - Never had B & B great bakery up the road opposite the Sports Bar good value pastries. Great location great friendly staff. Lovely grounds and from the main bar and restaurant there are great views. Like in most places there is the 'Sunbed Wars' going on but to be fair the hotel were trying to manage it and in the main were succeeding no towels reservation before 9am. My wife was struck by a falling badly fixed curtain pole and brackets which resulted in 3 visits to a clinic 1 to have an Xray, one to have 2 CT Scans and the last to check that due to a head injury she was Fit to Fly, Whilst initially the hotel on the day where concerned they never followed up with daily contact to find out how she was. We had to pay for the taxi trips x 4 the curtain pole and brackets were screwed to the wall the next day! The cleaning of the apartment was ok but the cleaner never swept or mopped the floor whilst we were there for the 2 weeks we knew this due to the amount of dust and even when we were went to the room just after they had been the floor was never wet of even smelt clean.

• Salden (9/5): - Uitstekend, professioneel vakantiedorp met uitstekende faciliteiten en restaurant. Ondanks de grote is het toch een rustig resort. Hoewel door de grootte de afstand tot het personeel wat groter is, nemen ze desondanks alle tijd voor je en laten je welkom voelen. Doordat er drie gemeenschappelijke zwembaden zijn, hebben wij altijd ergens wel vier plekken naast elkaar kunnen vinden. Het ligt aan de rand van Koutouloufari, waardoor je snel naar de restaurants wandelt. Grootste pluspunt van de ligging is echter dat je eenvoudig met een eigen auto de accomodatie bereikt, zonder dat je door de smalle en drukke straatjes van het dorp hoeft te manoeuvreren. Ook ben je snel op de verbindingsweg.

The private pool we had was just gorgeous! We also had everything we needed for our stay, and the staff were just so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble even when we were arriving in the middle of the night. Breakfast buffet was always stocked, and the food fresh and delicious. I’m already booking for next year! Nothing to dislike, it was great!

Het ganse domein was super net. 3 zwembaden aanwezig en voldoende ligzetels.( in juni toch). Iedereen was super vriendelijk. Sommige personeelsleden praten ook Nederlands. Dagelijks krijgt het appartement een beurt en om de 2 dagen verse handdoeken. Ontbijtbuffet €11/per dag ofwel al la carte te bestellen. geen verplichting om elke dag te ontbijten. je kan zelf kiezen. In de directe omgeving : supermarktjes, Bars, locale Griekse eetgelegenheden, autoverhuurbedrijven... Het complex ligt op een steile helling. dus mensen die echt slecht te been zijn iets minder aan te raden. Er is parkeergelegenheid voor de huurwagen. isolatie van de appartementen : Bovenburen verschoven 's nachts vaak met stoelen op het terras. De airco deed zeker zijn werk op de slaapkamer maar was ook luidruchtiger dan deze bij ons thuis die we bijna niet horen draaien.

• JohnS1989 (8/5): Rustige vakantieplek met plus- én minpunten - – Mooie kamer met privézwembad, een echte troef. – Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en lekker. – De eerste drie dagen kregen we een zeer vriendelijke en zorgzame dame over de vloer voor de schoonmaak — alles was perfect in orde. – Chantal, de Nederlands sprekende medewerkster, is een enorme meerwaarde: supervriendelijk, behulpzaam en ze werkt keihard. Zij maakt echt het verschil! – Zwemuren tot slechts 19u, wat vrij vroeg is voor een privézwembad. – De laatste drie dagen werd de schoonmaak gedaan door een ander duo, en dat was duidelijk minder: werk was half gedaan en er lagen lange haren op de grond, wat niet van ons kon zijn.(Beide kort haar) – Het verblijf is aan de prijzige kant — zonder korting hadden we dit waarschijnlijk niet geboekt.

Sufficient parking facility for our rental car and the old town on walking distance and Heraklion city center at approx. 25 min drive.

However both had stairs which was okay for us, but may not be suitable for less mobile guests.
• Sanne (9/5): Genoten van een heerlijke vakantie! - Heerlijk om ae faciliteiten voor jezelf te hebben. Enige kleine nadeel is dat de accomodatie toch tegen een heuvel ligt maar dat is anderzijds ook het voordeel mbt uitzicht en privacy. Wij vonden het prima te doen.

• John (10/5): - Fantastic place to stay. Great location. The staff are welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in the 'Superior House' which is actually an apartment. It had everything you need, microwave, fridgefreezer, hot plate, kettle, iron, ironing board etc. The beds were large and comfy and first class air con. Thoroughly recommended!
• Kristina (10/5): Fantastic! - Our apartment was gorgeous! Huge spacious, and the outdoor area was fabulous. Great place to host our family throughout the week. We were two couples with young kids, it was perfect. The staff were also super helpful and friendly. Minimal parking and small tight spaces. But that’s Crete in general and not a reflection on the property alone. Just don’t come with a big vehicle.

• Bruno (9/5): Séjour très agréable - L'emplacement est top : près d'un petit village et des commerces. Belle vue sur la mer ! L'appropriation des transats à la piscine : les vacanciers déposent dès le matin et pour toute la journée, leur serviette sur les transats même s'ils n'y restent pas. De ce fait, difficile de trouver des transats libres.
• Guy (9/5): Gorgeous views, rooms, staff and location. Fantastic spa and the people locally are so lovely. - Location was superb, and close to three villages full of places to eat, shop and drink at. Rooms were spotlessly clean with fresh towels and sheets every 2 days. The views from our 2 junior suites were beautiful! Air conditioning was fantastic. Staff very friendly and reception very informative and helpful. Breakfast was good with everything you would want including fresh fruit but might have been nice if it had some surprises over the two weeks as it is the same every day. The 3 pools are all different and we enjoyed all 3...the top pool had pretty views and a quiet family feel, the large pool was beautiful with comfy sun loungers and pool bar but could get very busy at times with balls, and floats etc but our favourite was the bottom pool with a fab pool bar, offering lovely smoothies and food and very funny staff! The grounds are kept well maintained and are very pretty. It is up hill to the top rooms...not a lot in distance but gives the legs a good work out, so need to bear that in mind. We used the spa for some lovely massages, facials and treatments and Maria was excellent, very friendly and made our holiday extra special. Lastly they have fantastic weighing scales in reception to weigh your suitcases at the end of your trip - very useful and reassuring after buying lots of lovely things to take home. Not a lot to mention, perhaps a few surprises with breakfast over the 2 weeks rather than it be exactly the same each day....but it does have a lot of varied things to choose from and is tasty. You need to be up to get a sunbed in a good spot around the pools by 8.30/8.45am each day as people do leave towels and unfortunately if you don't do the same you will miss out.
• Hilko (9/5): - De dames die elke ochtend het huis schoonmaken en de bedden opmaken doen net dat kleine beetje extra's waar je blij van wordt. De ligging van de village was ook fantastisch. Helemaal niks op het complex maar ik vond wel dat in de steden en dorpen heel veel zwerfafval ligt en dat is jammer voor de algemene indruk van een prachtig eiland als Kreta.

• Mohamed (7/5): Bien - La propreté et qualité des matériaux Un peu cher à mon sens Personnel du restaurant de n peu désagréable avec les clients (un homme d’un certain âge). On a l’impression que son rôle est policier plutôt que serveur.
