Megan (10/5): Brilliant stay - favourite in Quebec City! - This stay already get's a 10/10 from me because they allowed for an early check in (moved us to accomodate this) and also had a super warm fluffy blanket available which was so cozy. The location was so convenient, the room was big, had a great view and allowed so much natural light in plus had an epic view of the Frontenac. We stayed in the king room. We had stayed in a queen room in the frontenac before our stay here and I actually prefer this room because of all the natural light it allowed and the view! Nothing! You don't have any F2F contact to check in but they made it so easy that was no concern at all. There is some mold in the initial entry of the chateau but you need to remember that this is carpeted and so in winter with the snow on everyone's shoes, this is to be expected.

Nida (8/5): Very pretty, cozy vibes - Location is great. Close to everything. It very well maintained. The vibes and aesthetic are very pleasant and cozy. The walls are thin so you hear movement a lot. The bathroom is very small (standard queen room) and the sink is not in the bathroom.

Meriem (1/5): Un véritable désastre - Le séjour a été une véritable déception. Nous étions logés dans la chambre 9, dont l’aménagement était peu fonctionnel et mal pensé. Les toilettes étaient extrêmement exiguës, et la douche, dotée d’une vitre transparente, se trouvait directement en face du lit, ce qui manque clairement d’intimité. De plus, le lit annoncé comme étant un queen ne correspondait pas à cette taille. La présence d’un lavabo directement dans la chambre nous a également surpris : je comprends la volonté de donner un cachet ancien, mais cela reste peu pratique et inapproprié. Concernant le confort, le chauffage ne dépassait pas 22 degrés, alors qu’il faisait environ -10°C à l’extérieur et qu’il neigeait. Cela a rendu le séjour particulièrement inconfortable. Pour couronner le tout, des travaux ont débuté dès 7h du matin le lendemain. Lorsque nous avons contacté la réception pour signaler la situation, nous n’avons reçu aucune réponse concrète. Pire encore, des discussions bruyantes entre membres du personnel ont eu lieu juste devant notre porte, aggravant encore davantage la situation. Nous avons dû rappeler une seconde fois pour exprimer clairement notre mécontentement et notre inconfort. Ce n’est qu’aux alentours de midi que l’on nous a recontactés pour nous proposer un changement de chambre. À noter que nous avions déjà demandé à changer de chambre avant notre arrivée, mais cette demande avait été refusée, sous prétexte qu’il fallait passer par Booking. Il est donc surprenant de constater que cela est finalement devenu possible une fois les problèmes survenus.

Le stationnement d'Youville, nous à couté qur 20$ pour 24 heures et 11 minutes de marche de la chambre. Nous étions la pendant la St Patrick, de la notre stationnement plus loin. Qu'il n'y est pas de frigo, mais on le savait.

anx4pdqyam (10/5): A vintage aesthetically pleasing hotel with a hint of modern stay touch - I stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony. Even though the balcony is closed. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. I received daily messages of thanks and gratitude from the hotel reception. The self check in was a breeze. To find parking was a bit challenging but the old Quebec City roads were mesmerizing to walk through. Overall, round of applause 👏
Michel (8/5): Satisfaisant pour dépanner un soir et certaines lacunes faciles à corriger par l'administration - La localisation géographique, la propreté, l'accès facile par codes numériques (aucun personnel sur place), le confort du lit Salle de bain (avec lavabo à l'extérieur...) très , très petite ; zéro garde-robe, même pas un crochet pour suspendre un manteau ; oreillers inconfortables (trop volumineux) ; le chauffage (climatiseur mural + télécommande) reste une énigme à résoudre ; absence de miroir plein pied. Le fait qu'il n'y ait pas de stationnement propre à l'établissement est corrigé par plusieurs stationnements payants aux alentours.

Monet (10/5): It was a beautiful and clean hotel. I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Quebec City. - The room was beautiful! It is styled very nicely with an old-timey feel. It was very clean as well. The location was amazing! We walked everywhere on our stay. It is just a few minutes walk to most restaurants, shops, markets, and other hotels. The price of the room ended up being about 100 more than what was listed when I booked it on Booking.com. I am not sure how that happened.

Enfin, petit incident de propreté dans la douche à notre arrivée, mais on rapidement offert d'envoyer quelqu'un pour de l'aide... Comme l'erreur est humaine, on en tient pas rigueur. On y retournerait! :) L'endroit est magnifique et l'histoire qui s'empreigne des murs en est émouvante! Le stationnement a été très difficile compte tenu que le seul qui avait été suggéré était complet à notre arrivée. Comme il y avait plusieurs festivals en cours et comme personne n'est physiquement sur place à l'accueil, on n'a pas pu avoir de soutien direct.

We could hear everyone moving through the building, and especially in the room above us. We had difficulty getting to sleep due to the noise. It is not that the other guests were noisy, it is just that every move they made could be heard through the walls and floors.

Valerie (5/5): Disappointing, great location, cute room if you take away the bathroom. - It was quirky and clean. The housekeeping staff were very helpful. The reception is via the phone, they answer immediately and were very quick to reprogram our door. The bathroom is not convenient. To sit in the toilet the shower door needs to be open for your knees! If you have mobility issues the bathroom would be problematic. Only bath towels, no hand towels. No glasses in the bathroom. The dehumidifier was a waterfall. We had to put a garbage bin to collect the water. Despite telling management they did not contact us. WE found the housekeeper who did her best to dry it. Very wet carpet! Lastly you can leave your luggage but beware it is in the open and the honour system, we did not have a problem

David9891 (10/5): Quiet stay steps from downtown - Very quiet hotel and street, a short walk from cafe's, restaurants & shopping. Room was clean with private balcony and beautiful view of the Fairmont and river. Only wished for a bathrobe.

lrinfr371194 (8/5): Solid place for the price - Upon entering it was definitely a bit confusing being a traveler from America but was met with easy assistance through the virtual portal on entry they sent me the codes through the message and that was that had a place to sleep and slept like a baby.
Rosalind (8/5): Room with a view - Close to areas in Old Quebec City and the Chateau Frontenac Fairmont. Being an old establishment, the walls and gloors are thin - you could hear people coming in, slamming doors and walk like elephants. Air conditioner did not work - was told that it was turned off to protect them from potential damages - not too sure what that meant. Housekeeping only made the bed, did not check if we needed more toiletries or change the towels. If you have big luggages, i don't suggest this place, as there are no lifts. Lucky for us, our room was on the 1st floor. Also, bathroom is small. Ok for petite people.

Bruce (9/5): Wonderful location and a great place to stay - It’s very well apportioned and the interior design is of period Victorian to mesh with the neighborhood architecture. The location is very ideal to restaurants, shops and bars. Very clean

Very difficult to get luggage into the front door "lobby" (about 5'x6") and had to use phone type deal to talk to person off premises to get codes to get into the hotel and then separate code to room. Key pads too dark and hard to see because of dim light. Not for olde people!

Mary (10/5): - We took the bus, Hop On Hop Off, and we're very happy to see all of the sites. The restaurants close to our hotel we're excellent and so are the shops. Everything we saw was wonderful and all the people were very friendly and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for a better trip.
he2yutok7x (6/5): Quebec overnight - Room was okay, bath was dated. Needed a place to drop luggage and leave it after checkout. We were told to leave it behind the desk and there were security cameras. We did in order not to carry it around town but the front desk is never manned.

Janie (8/5): - Great overnight hotel choice pre-cruise. Clean room/bathroom & comfortable and clean bed. Very good location to walk the old city. Only drawback is check-in is electronic at 4 PM. With a morning flight arrival, it would have been nice to get a “room ready” text after cleaning is done so guests can possibly check in a little earlier.
Mary (6/5): - No front desk or person. No elevator. It is close to the Frontenac hotel and within 2-3 blocks of other streets and activities. No parking available. The maid was very nice and hospitable.
