• FarAway64175091964 (2/5): WORST EXPERIENCE - We stayed at this place for 2 days and 1 night. Uff what a horrible experience we had by staying here. We booked a pent house unit for 6 adults. When we entered everything seems okay. Firstly, their aircond was a disaster. PD is hot + the aircond air was also hot. Not one aircond but all 3 rooms + hall aircond. We had to call the maintenance to check but was of no use because it was still hot. Secondly, room card. This place only provides one card. Hello excuse me at least provide 2 cards so at least when we return to our place after the swim we could at least have some cool air. Next, the house was meant for 6 adults but breakfast provided only for 5 adults. They say we should pay for the extra person but clearly it stated as 6 adults for that house and we were 6. Moreover, their sofa never clean properly. Have lizard poop everywhere. Besides that, parking was full by the time we came back at night as there was an event going on that night at their resort. Moreover, during night the aircond was hot in 2 rooms and hall as well. Only 1 room aircond was chill. So we called the receptionist to ask if they can provide stand fan. The receptionist said no but instead he mentioned there is another unit available on the same floor and he said we could shift there as the maintenance team had clock out so can't fix the aircond. It was almost 1am. But we said okay as it was so hot. Then, he said the unit can only accommodate 5 adults but he clearly knew that we were 6 adults. So we asked if 4 of us could go to another unit and the other 2 remain in the same unit as their room aircond was fine. But he said no if we shift it should be all of us together. His actions appeared to be short-sighted. So we just put the phone down and just slept in a humid room. It was a TERRIBLE experience staying here. For what we paid it was not even up to par. Please do think twice before booking this place. GLORY BEACH RESORT PLEASE DO ATLEAST PROVIDE FAN IN YOUR UNITS. THIS IS PD NOT GENTING HIGHLANDS.

• Venture41537136888 (8/5): Great Stay with Excellent Service, but a Minor Issue - I had a great experience during my stay. The room was good, clean, and comfortable. The haunted house was a fun and unique experience, and the pool was nice and well-maintained. A special thanks to the afternoon shift staff who assisted me with upgrading my room—he was very helpful, though I forgot his name. The only downside was that the bathroom was clogged, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything was great, and I’d definitely consider coming back!

• CHUNG PONG (8/5): - If only they can change the beddings that are obviously aged more than a decade or two, it would be a more pleasant stay because the management should know well that a good night’s sleep is the utmost priority to guests. All the facilities in this resort show signs of aging but you can feel that the maintenance team has worked tirelessly to make sure all the old items still function well - and yes they do, amazingly, especially the A/C. With that being said plus the competitive pricing which includes a spacious apartment, sufficient local breakfast buffet and unbeatable sea view with the sound of the waves because the resort is really right by the beach, I think this resort can definitely serve the visitors better in the future with possible renovation that takes place little by little. • nowhereelse87 (6/5): Hmmmmm - Stay with family for 3 bedroom apartment. 3rd room looks creepy.. look like store and management changed it to room with 1 single and ceiling fan Broken bidet, no hot water in 2nd bathroom Upon check in, front desk staff showed us her angry face, no eye contact at all Pool too crowded. Life guard doesnt even care when other guest jumping and playing ball in pool which dusturbing other guest with kids. Best part only during bfast, varieties of food selection ..thumbs up f&b team
• philiptJ2874NA (6/5): Not So Glory - We stayed in a 2 room apartment but it is rather poorly maintained . Not enough power socket in the room. The food is rather sub standard and the service is also average. Cleanliness of dining room is also average as cats are allowed to go in. However, if you are looking for budget place, this is acceptable.

• Farah Dyba (10/5): - This is not my first time and will not be the last time. Will come again and again because the resort have white sandy beach, easy access to the beach and suitable for children. Pool also kids friendly. Breakfast: average. Restaurant a bit crowd especially during public holidays but food is enough coz staff always top up the dishes. One suggestions for breakfast, please add on porridge in the menu. Travel with infant/kids, but there is no porridge serve during breakfast. Very disappointing. Overall, i am satisfied with my stay and will come again next time. Eventhough the furniture is quite old but the rooms is spacious and i am happy with my stay.

• 548AndrewD (8/5): Excellent value - One of the best priced resorts in Port Dickson, and also accessible using public transport as it is just 10 minutes away from the Taman PD Delima bus stop. If you get a room on the high floor, the view is lovely. It is also reputed to be the only resort in Port Dickson with turtle hatchery, although it does seem like the turtle program is highly subjected to availability so you may want to check beforehand.

• JessicaWhyman (2/5): Save yourself and do not stay here! - We have been travelling around Malaysia for 5 months and have visited some wonderful places. This place is not one of them 😒 INCREDIBLY rude staff. Ineffective check in procedures. Generally incredibly unhelpful. From the moment we arrived we have had issues: * check in time on booking.com incorrect and no leniency despite showing them the time error. * hour and a half I'm line to check in, had a paper shoved at me and told I had to fill it out- even when I asked for help because it was in Malay was ignored. * 'resort' is incredibly run down. * check in staff were super unhelpful and had no idea of what was happening, even though certain activities were heavily advertised as a draw card. * once we did get to our room, the card wouldn't work. Told to lime up again to wait for help. * Had to chase food orders three times on three occasions because not everything we ordered was bought out. The beach is also filthy. I understand the resort cannot control the water, but I can't feel comfortable with my two children swimming next to used band aids. The only saving grace is the food is nice, if they get your order right. Do yourself a favour, just don't come.
• Tessa (2/5): English family honest review - The hotel was like a prison. Gated doors in very scary and what seemed unsafe building blocks. Doors didnt lock properly and nor did the windows. It was in the middle of nowhere and eaxh front door had like prison gates. I did not feel secure so left and lost my money and stayed somewhere else. The room was horrendous and we was very shocked by the state of the place. Rat droppings all over balcony. Honest this place does not represent the photos at all. Save your money and a holiday from hell.

The towel is tattered and have seen better days.. Bathroom not clean. There is kitchenette but not for cooking just a sink. No dish soap. Can see dust on most surfaces. The only good thing is the beach near the hotel...

Unfortunately, on my way to the hotel, I called for for the second time for late check-in notification around 9 pm, the first time was on 5 pm. To my surprise, my booking had been cancelled without prior notice. This was the second time I had bad and the same experience via hotels.com since 2015.

Especially the soup, roti John and you must be suprise if I said the "telur masak kicap" very tasty😅. The service given also very good and fast action was taken when we facing bad weather that day. You can say , worth of money too. I went there with 16 of my colleagues and we have celebrating birthdays boys and at the same time we have done farewell for one of our team member. Thank you so much to Mr Tharma and his team that has makes our event successfully and the service is very good and fast. • kaulitz1990 (2/5): Old rooms, maintained at its worst - Rooms were old, toilet were honestly disgusting. Literally have nightmares thinking about it. We literally opted not to shower the next day based on how the toilet was. This was a last minute one night booking, would never go back there again. Plus our the unit was sandy, it was like they never bothered to clean for the next guest to come in.

Swimming pools that are huge and clean. Got turtle sanctuary( even though small but it attracts the kids ) Breakfast is great. beach is situated at the back of the resort. overall Glory Beach resort is a great place for family holidays

• nnadiama (4/5): Get what you pay for. Passed its glorious days. - Room/Apartment - expect the basic of basic. No ironing board, got fridge, kettle, water heater, A/C, couch. Cleanliness - FAILED MISERABLY. lets be honest, I have stayed at far more secluded and cheaper places but the hygiene aspect was the worse. Kettle was full of rust.Toilet plumbing was backed up bad. The entire bathroom and sink floods with god knows what from where. Dusty and smells. I get it was MCO but please at least try to clean up. Luckily we vrought our own sheets and pillowcases and towels. Parking - My God. Extremely limited. Can try to park at the hall next door. CoVID19 SOP- No SOP being adhered. I mean, the guests took half of the blame. Zero social distancing. Guest pushed inside the lift like nobody business. Some dont even bother wearing mask. Looking at the procedure of the pool terrifies me (50pax allowed, not a big pool though). Travellers interested to gi here, please do not expect too much. And you get the idea.

I want to thanks to the coffee house team and Mr. Tharma because they did great job assist me to setup family dinner at their karah kafe. All the team members is very helpful and very friendly to us. The food served over expectation, totally worth for the price. All the dishes really tempting, fresh cooked and yet in big portion. Tq a lot for serving us. Highly recommended to all tourist for family/company gathering. Nice place to stay, nice blue sea, good SOP implementation. Will come again.

• DrSandD (2/5): A disgrace. AVOID! - Would give this place zero star if I could. Worst place we had ever stayed in. Absolutely dirty. Sand on the floor and on dressing table. Hair by the shower drain and on the bed. We found yellow stain (and even blood stain!) on the bedding. Poor water pressure. Cigarette buds on the balcony floor. We got given supposedly clean, but slightly damp towels. Foot mats looked as if they were never washed. Also found used knickers and face masks under the cushion of the sofas. Management ignored SOP by allowing large gatherings - during check ins, in the pool area, during BBQ. No social distancing at all. Beach was dirty. Staff just couldn’t care less.
• mypersonalcomment (2/5): Check your room before you checkout - My mistake i did not check properly before i checkout. I left 2 smartphone chargers. I called up the hotel and told them. My surprise is my vivo fast charging charger and my alcatel fast charging charger change to old crap samsung charger and 1 cable. The staff told me maybe the guest stayed after i checkout took it but when i call morning before guest checkout. They found the charger when cleaning after i checkout and before new guest check inn tje room. 2 times i stayed in June 2020.

• Laura (2/5): Avoid like the plague! - The Glory Beach Resort is disgusting, so bad that I left within an hour of checking in. The only redeeming thing was that they refunded my money without a hassle. The beach was littered and had no chairs or umbrellas. The pool had cloudy water, obviously dirty, and also no chairs or umbrellas. The room itself was nondescript, and the bathroom floor was awash with dirty water. No towels. Just not a good place at all.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Old, terrible and bad service hotel - This hotel is the worst one I have ever stayed. They didn’t allow us to check in after 6pm however, they have 24 hours front desk. If later than 6 PM, check in need to notice ahead. However, they never replied customer email. I sent many emails to asking about the room booking issue, none of them got reply ... also sent message to them asking for late check-in after 6 pm.. didn’t reply as well. Only replied around midnight when we already landed in Malaysia and didn’t do any special arrangement for us. We needed to find our way to ask one of our friend arriving before 6 pm to get the room key. Furthermore, In the room, no toilet flush , sink blocked, hair found in shower area, no hair dryer and wanna call housekeeping for that ... the telephone was disconnected.. didn’t work, water dripping from air conditioner, ants found in kitchen n living room as well, strange smell in room. Food there is awful, rice is cold and hard, many fly on the food. This hotel looks very big withfacilities eg swimming pool and gym etc ...the pool is ok, however, gym room is super small. Everything here is not clean and very old. Some staff don’t understand English, cannot have clear communication. Definitely will not go back for this hotel.

• Riddick (2/5): Avoid at all costs - There are better hotels near - This place looks great in photos. You can tell that 30 years ago this was the place to come. It has a nostalgia that is reminiscent of somewhere James Bond would stay in the 60's. THAT WAS THEN. Staff are rude and discourteous -No greeting, no smile, just carried on talking amongst themselves. I then stood by the desk waiting to be acknowledged, eventually I was. Only to discover that I was being checked in by the newest member of staff with the poorest English skills. I wouldn't have minded that - if a more experienced, better English speaking guy wasn't standing there the whole time doing very little. what a welcome. No directions to room no info on Breakfast. Walked to the block I was in and after 15 mins of search I found the lift. My 15 min search took me around the block fully. Something from a horror film: mattresses and furniture everywhere. Dark alleys with open doors leading to even darker rooms. An ancient, dirty lift. Room was a not as bad as expected but the bar had been set pretty low!! Old beds, old kettle and sink. Bathroom - shower and toilet where the same room. Balcony door broken with sharp glass edge exposed. Wifi very poor. Musty room smell (hadn't been stayed in for ages). Breakfast was awful - again no politeness from staff - barely speak to guests - no dialogue at all. I'm really not a fussy person and I have never checked out early in my life. I did this time. Positives - Its very close to the beach and there was a nice view from the balcony.

Firstly, i'm feel much of sand particle all around the room and air cond in the bed room was not cool as set. Please take action on both issues as mentioned above.

They also took my things such as laptop, drinks and other equipment during my stay and their reason was that they thought I have checked out. It is not logical reason otherwise they would call me to give me my properties and not to wait until I report it. I am really sad

• Lyz (8/5): I will suggest this hotel to my friends - It is a pleasant stay over there. Lots of parking space. But since I went there during school holidays, the pool is quite pack with people. The breakfast served is also presentable.

• Zahruliza Haryati (8/5): Short vacay at Glory Beach resort - Pros: Nice holiday, kids enjoyed the swimming pool but it's too crowded due to school holiday even on weekday. Breakfast was ok. Our seaview apartment was at level 11 & it's very nice & windy. Free wifi in the room & public area. Cons: Room cleanliness ~ sandy bed. Fridge & iron were very old & need to change.

• Michele (6/5): - I stayed here after a 2 day flight delay because it showed that it was actually closer to KLIA than heading back into KL. I hadn't been to Port Dickson yet so I thought a few days relaxing by the pool & beach would be a nice change of pace. While it may technically be a few kms closer to KLIA, the cost and availability of a grab or Uber is actually more than the cost of the room. Good value, attentive service, decent breakfast, nice large pool, but spotty wifi and definitely more of hotel for locals than a tourist beach resort.
• DAVID (8/5): Older structure needs maintenance/furniture upgrad - Large complex of buildings, all in need of much better maintenance, especially bathroom fixtures and furniture. These items are old, leaking, not draining properly, and bed mattresses are worn out, living room furniture is worn out, chair seats are totally sagging. The staff is most polite, but unfortunately their best intentions cannot overcome such poor state of maintenance. Cafe terrace buffet is wonderful, but birds are not kept away, which really makes for a disruptive brunch. Also noticed a rat or two scurrying around the F&B areas during bkfst and supper - most disappointing. Recommend to probably avoid this resort until management cleans out rodents and replaces dismal furniture and plumbing. Finally, WiFi was sporadic and unstable due to poor location of single wireless router positioned too far away from most rooms. Unable to use WiFi reliably at all in rooms, had to use lobby or cafe areas.

• williest (4/5): Low budget beach from hotel in PD - They seemed to obviously be short handed as they couldn't provide room service. Pool was cloudy. Breakfast was basic and wasn't to great either. Room floors were dusty/sandy. Toilet sinks were leaking straight to the floor. Beds were sufdicientlt comfortable and air-conditioning was in good working condition. Overall it's you get what you pay for.

• Siti Rohana (10/5): Comfortable Stay - I booked 2 unit apartment at glory beach resort with every unit have 3 bedroom. Its was comfortable and manageable even though its a public holiday and Christmas eve but the staff still can manage the crowd. Their service was excellent. Value for money. Breakfast can consider ok but may be can add more and variety food. Overall I can say that Glory Beach Resort is a strategic, comfort and valuable stay. Definitely will come back and stay here.
