Guest Reviews
- Lina (1/5): Nein!
- Armand (8/5): Nice place. - Clean, tastefully decorated, easy check-in and out. Convenient location. Traffic noise from street/highway. Hot water seemed to be running out in the morning. Appliances plugged into extension cord but not actually working.
- Jerry (7/5): It was a good conveniate room that had a nice nostalgic vibe. - Yes Highway noise
- Charles (3/5): Disappointed - Good location, good value Room was not as described. Kitchen items jammed in the corner of a bathroom, not like photos.
Room was dirty, carpet/rug was filthy with pet hair etc. TV didn't work, was hanging off wall.
Contacted owners, got zero response.
- Lori (9/5): Best nights sleep ever. - No breakfast
- Debra (4/5): - Room was clean and location was good Touchless entree was not user friendly
TV was hard to navigate
Door handle was hard to open
- Autumn (7/5): It’s cute but needs some updating. - The location asked ease of check in. It’s designed well and we did love the onsite restaurant The bed and the noise. The bed was so old and sagged so much in the middle that it felt like sleeping in a hammock. We had to put our pillows in middle of our backs to try to make the bed feel even. We could also hear everything going on outside and on either side of us.
- Vigneshraj (10/5): -
Slechte lakens.
- Domingo (7/5): Decent motel, but a bit too noisy - Simple rooms with everything I needed. I appreciated the bowls, glasses and spoons to have breakfast with. The walls were quite thin and the toilet of the neighbors kept making flushing sounds throughout the night, which woke me up.
- Bloem (10/5): Aanrader! - Centraal tussen de grote nationale parken in sfeervolle plaats met museum Little Hollywood om de hoek. Praktisch appartement, alles beschikbaar! Niet van toepassing

- Paula (7/5): Good value for a 9-day stay. Ten minute drive to Best Friends Sanctuary. Walking distance to town. - I never met the on-site staff. The office was closed each time I went to see them. I met the lovely cleaning lady (Pouchy). We chatted, and she brought me towels and took my trash. Some things weren't, such as the coffee maker. Thankfully, I travel with white vinegar for these situations, and I was able to clean it. The basics are tended to, but the details are not.
- Polly (8/5): Will return - Clean, comfortable, quiet. Restaurant on prop
- Youlia (5/5): -
- Valérie (9/5): -
- Dickson (10/5): - The bed was very comfortable. There was an issue checking in because another guest took our room. The hotel upgraded us to resolve the issue.
- Natalia (9/5): -
- Carolyn (10/5): Clean and comfortable, great value. - The Flagstone isn't fancy, but it's clean, and in a great location. Other than what I've already scored, the room was a good value, very comfortable and within walking distance of good food and sites. I goofed up our check-in, but the staff went the extra mile to make it work. Thank you so much! My first attempt at self-checkin wasn't too good. Old dogs, new tricks...... This is a perfect location for anything you want to see here. We've always driven through Kanab, but this year we stayed 3 days. The kitchenette is very well stocked with dishes, supplies, and appliances. It was very convenient to have breakfast in, then go visit fun and interesting places. We'll definitely be back to stay at the Flagstone, and hopefully I'll be way better at self-checkin! The check-in, but only because it was the first time we ever used it. Now that we know how it works, next time we'll do better. It would have been nice to have a regular chair in the room instead of stools. As you get into your older years, stools are scary. All the same, The Flagstone is going to be our Kanab headquarters.
- Katarina (9/5): - The location is ok, the check-in and check-out were very easy, fully equiped kitchen It could have been cleaner
- Jean (8/5): good value - Room was a good size. Had 2 chairs and a table outside the door so we could be outside. Walkable to town Though the ability to cook was advertised, that wouldn't have really been possible. Odd array of dishes/equipment, no sink, no fan.
- Diane (10/5): I loved it and I want to stay there again. - The room was very nice with small but more than adequate kitchen. The location was perfect for me. The music in the outdoor dining area came on at 2:02 AM for no apparent reason. It was very loud. But it only happened once.
- Arnaldo (7/5): -
- Kim (8/5): -
- Wicks (7/5): A great find for the price. Comfortable bed, quiet location - Quiet and easy to locate More silverware would have been helpful
- heyitsjvonnie (10/5): Best Boutique Hotel in Kanab - The room was absolutely adorable! We started our anniversary road trip here and the host was impeccable! The basic cooking utensils were all there for us to enjoy cooking after a long day of hiking.
There were extra towels in the room and even some rags to use for cleaning separate from the bathroom linens!uch needed after being out and around the red sand + cleaning up after cooking.
The host also own the vegetarian restaurant connected which is a big plus!
We'd definitely book again if we find ourselves back in the Kanab area.
- Oleh (10/5): Good stay - Clean room, good kitchen and good design. If there 3 people staying in the room, the pull out sofa is not really comfortable
- Pete (10/5): - Lovely spaces to enjoy outdoors. Onsite restaurant superb. Vegetarian fare at its finest.
- Ang (10/5): -
- Dustin (9/5): -
- Lisette (10/5): -
- William (6/5): Decent stay for a base to tour a couple of the area national parks - The location was a good base for our trip and near conveniences. We were traveling with our dog so hotel locations were limited. This hotel is pet friendly. We were also traveling off season so we give grace for things not being available. It was clean and the host/hostess was very responsive. I don’t want to sound too negative because the stay was okay but if we didn’t have our dog, we probably would stay at one of the other hotels in town. The place was adequate but could do with a freshing up. It is on the main road through town, but to be fair most of the hotels are. It was pretty noisy so white noise is a must, which helps some.
- Laura (10/5): -
- Gavin (10/5): -
- Bischke (8/5): - The room was very clean and, overall comfortable. The lockbox was set on the number to release the key and all of the windows were unlocked. Very concerning for a woman traveling alone.
- Federico (9/5): -
- Cook (8/5): -
- Lynn (9/5): - Great location and a restaurant on site was convenient after our long day on the road.
- Flory (9/5): excellent rest stop for outdoor adventurers who want a couple days of comfort but can still cook for themselves. - really well thought out kitchenette was very useful the water pressure was not great
- Marco (9/5): -
- Tim (9/5): - Lage und Preis-Leistung Heizung hat nicht richtig warm gegeben.
- Carrisa (9/5): Overall cute and cozy place to stay - I overall loved the place! Love all the lighting and dim light options. Loved having a full kitchen to cook and my room have a full size fridge/freezer. The AC/heat unit thermostat light is SO bright at night, so I ended up shutting it off as I couldn't sleep with it on. I was really looking forward to having a bath after a long day of hiking and it clearly seemed that it was made to not be able to take one :( . If I am being completely honest the cat portrait kinda creeped me out lol... but overall I absolutely loved my stay and would come again.
- Barry (10/5): - Location! Remodel of property was amazing. Local eateries, especially Rockin V Cafe and of course scenery. The bathroom...hard water deposits prevented shower head to function smoothly. Bathtub selector prevented water from filling tub as plunger was stuck in shower mode...oh well.
- Tom (9/5): -
- Hubbard (8/5): -
- Ashley (8/5): A Wonderful Honeymoon Stay - I love the convenience of the how close everything was and having the little kitchen and fridge really helped. Also loved the amenity to turn on a heater in the bathroom. The shower would smell pretty bad after taking a shower. Probably need to check the piping or something. We had to leave the fan on in the bathroom most of the day to clear up the smell.
- Donna (7/5): -
- Linda (8/5): Cute and cozy place in Kanab. - Location and friendly management. They were excellent communicators. Kitchen area was very small in our room.
- Georgina (6/5): - Nice vegetarian restaurant on site, comfortable bed It was described as a room with a scenic view but the view was Sinclair gas station... It was extremely loud during the night.
- Victor (8/5): -
- Gelot (8/5): -
- RANDY (8/5): -
- Kami (8/5): - Great location! Easy check in/out, clean. The mattress is not comfortable.
- Mary Beth (6/5): Disappointed - Very clean. Spacious. Restaurant adjacent was fabulous Air conditioner did not work. When I emailed the property they essentially said we are sorry did you try turning it off
Very dismissive
Slept poorly due to heat and road noise
- Deborah (8/5): A good value. Clean and comfortable. - Easy in and out. Contactless entry. Parking right in front of our room. Clean and comfortable. Nice to have coffee mugs and wine glasses in the kitchenette.
- Robert (8/5): Nice once we got our keys. - The room was very nice. Unfortunately, we were not aware about it not having an office to get our keys for the room. We are elderly and don't know about computers or phones very well and it was confusing for us but after charging our phone, we were able to talk to a person and find out how to open our room.
- Karen (10/5): - Parfait , propre et comfortable et très bien placé .
- Lisa A Mason (10/5): Wish I could stay longer - This was a perfect stay and exceeded my expectations 100%. Clean, safe, comfortable. Highly recommend especially for solo female travelers.
- Alicia (8/5): Great location and dog friendly but definitely more Airbnb than hotel - The location was great and we loved how dog friendly it was. We also loved the lockbox style key situation it made going in and out very easy. Because they effectively run them like airbnbs there is no cleaning service which, in theory, we didn’t mind but in practice we were there for 5 nights and were only provided a single roll of toilet paper (we wound up buying more ourselves) and we had to strip the beds and tidy up at the end.
- Kristina (10/5): Perfect - Amazing accomodation. Perfect location if you're travelling from Zion/Bryce to Page. Everything was clean. We had the rooms 10 and 17. The room 17 had a fully equipped kitchen. There is a nice terrasse in the backyard, with a firepit. Pets are welcome, which is great. The fan in room 17 did not work.
- Danielle (7/5): For the price and location it was a good deal - It was in a great location close to restaurants and lots of other amenities There was a lot of dog poop left the entire time we were there in the dog walking area. It was gross.
I think you could update some of the cook ware. Specifically the cookie sheets and the strainer was filthy.
- Diane (7/5): -
- Jacobus (6/5): - Fair value for money, clean place with everything you need for a few days Mattress wasn’t the most comfortable.
- Holger (8/5): -
- Gruenert (9/5): -
- Stanfill (9/5): - Location Nothing
- Ruben (10/5): Awesome! - The room was very clean and modern. Great location. It has a coffee machine. It was cozy and clean and modern.
- nelia (9/5): - Location, cleanliness, comfort. Would stay again. On check in day We didnt receive our room number and lockbox code and had to call to see why we hadnt received it yet. However the guy who answered the call was helpful and figured it out and gave us the info we needed.
- Michael (6/5): - The room smelled bad when we first walked in.
- sara (8/5): -
- Carla (6/5): Happy with stay but shower issues just need to be fixed. - Location and decorated nice. The shower curtain was too short and water was getting all over the floor.
The shower valve was not working properly So couldn’t get a full shower spray.
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Margaret (8/5): Very good -
- Lespea (10/5): Fabulous stay in a great location - Great location in the beautiful little town of Kanab next up the quirky “ Little Hollywood” museum. Beautifully tended gardens which showed the owners care what the property looks like from the outside and made it a pleasure to sit outside. We had a suite with a cooker, microwave and utensils which meant we could cook our own evening meal and breakast. N/A
- Amy (9/5): Overall, a great night sleep and in a lovely location. - Super comfortable, and fantastic kitchen setup (minus a few missing/broken utensils) for making your own dinner and breakfast - esp when the two places you really wanted to try for dinner were either closed or completely booked... Loved the toaster oven, hot plate, and having a table and chairs in the room for sitting around for meals and games. Great location for walking to all of downtown Kanab! No complaints. A few oversights by the staff (no backup TP and only a 1/4 roll in the bathroom, and a couple other minor things), but nothing that we couldn’t manage.
- Vanwagoner (10/5): Exceptional - It was very convenient for us traveling with our small dog. They had our room ready early for us so we could change for a Family Funeral we were attending 💔. We really appreciated 🙏 their quick service! Thank You. Mrs. VanWagoner.
- David (7/5): Good -
- Meagan (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (10/5): Great location, clean and easy check in/check out, love the place! - Loved the layout, nice outside space, loved the jet tub! Very clean and comfortable. Easy access to the unit.
- Robert (6/5): Pleasant -
- Pam (10/5): Very enjoyable - The gentleman i spoke to was so friendly and helpful. The room very clean Local
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jaron (7/5): Good -
- Justin (10/5): Near to Zion / Bryce - Very good Location with kitchen to go to Zion and Bryce Canyon
- Shannon (8/5): Very good -
- Janay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hendrix (9/5): Superb -
- Nomadbobby (8/5): Very good -
- Beverly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrea (3/5): Poor - Location ANTS and no staff on site
- Phifer (8/5): Great location- good value - Location I thought I was getting a different room
- Byron (10/5): Will be back. This is our second stay. - Great place, great location Nothing
- Byron (10/5): PERFECT - No breakfast but there are close restaurants for breakfast. A table and 2 chairs outside each room. Walk in to a huge king size bed that was SO COMFY! A Coffee machine with a few kinds of coffee with liquid creamers and sugar. There were 2 of each of the following : forks, spoons and knives, plates, water glasses, wine glasses, coffee cups, paper towels, hair dryer, iron, soap/shampoo /conditioner dispenser, hand soap in bottle at bathroom sink with also Dawn dish soap, small fridge with freezer and a great working microwave. IT WAS ALL GOOD. SHOULD BE A SMILEY FACE!
- Mary (8/5): Very convenient and restful to be able to eat in. Location was central. Value was excellent - Kitchen with everything I needed. Water wasn’t hot enough
- Marc (5/5): OK if you value meals in your room. - Toaster oven has temperature controls. A/C works well. Spring mattress affects both parties with any movement. Room 8 is dim during day, even when shades are open so electric lights must be turned on. Exhaust fan in bath is very loud. Overall it's a functional, clean space but I would hate any stay longer than one night. The bare essentials are provided but I regret not paying a bit more for a good bed and somewhat more pleasant interior.
