- Tonya (10/5): We love the location- this is one of my favorite hotels snd we stay often. - The only complaint that I have is that only 1 elevator was working. They locked the other ones off. ( we were on the 18th floor- so walking up stairs was not an option).

- Matthew (9/5): A good spot in the middle of everything. - Nice room and a nice bar. Staff helped us fulfill our special booking request after Booking did not forward it to the hotel. The location is excellent for everything from downtown fun to sports venues. Be warned: Booking.com does not forward any special requests to the hotel. We found out the hard way! Call them yourself if you have a special room request.

The feedback is consistently positive: our guests always feel exceptionally well cared for, safe, and comfortable at the hotel.
I would especially like to highlight the outstanding collaboration with Rejfo, Sara, and the entire team. They respond quickly, are incredibly reliable, and handle every request with genuine professionalism and warmth. Whether it’s last-minute bookings, special requests, or coordination around logistics—everything is managed smoothly and at a very high standard.
Thank you for the excellent cooperation! We look forward to many more stays for our guests at the Renaissance Cincinnati Downtown.
- sydneyj814 (10/5): Gorgeous hotel, amazing staff! - Such a beautiful hotel! So much history in the building which makes the experience that much more enjoyable. The rooms are updated, spacious, and beautiful. We were welcomed and checked in with ease! The valet team, culinary team, and management team ensured a seamless stay. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay downtown! Location is perfect. Thanks to the team at Renaissance for an amazing stay.

- tt123433 (10/5): Awesome stay in beautiful suite - Our stay at the Renaissance was great. We were actually booked at another hotel and it was awful- we didn't even check in. We were welcomed at the Renaissance immediately by Leslie and Raine. They were able to upgrade our accommodations and were so kind and friendly. The room was clean and very spacious. We ate lunch in the restaurant and it was delicious- room service was just as good. If we return to Cincinnati, this is where we will be staying for sure.
- aynure2026 (10/5): Mia - The best hotel I have ever stayed with good experiences. They were checking us every time with care and we have been offered with fresh as well as delicious food. The breakfast manager was checking with our food and stay.
- GrandTour17433589171 (10/5): Wonderful Experience - My stay at the renaissance hotel during the snow storm was nothing but exceptional, the room was very clean as expected. The services that were provided were on point and very professional. Everyone working there, they make sure to go out of their way to make you feel welcomed the moment you enter the hotel.
Despite being stuck in the hotel during the snow storm, I still managed enjoy my time there thanks to the staffs and also to the spectacular hospitality shown by the managers, Mr. Refo and Mr. Elyor. They were very polite, calm and collective, and made sure I was given the best service possible.
And the food there was what really made the difference. The restaurant on the first floor 4th and Walnut Rest. provides a very vast variety of menu, with many diverse options and most importantly it was served fresh, warm and tasted delicious!.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay there for a shorter or longer period of time.

- Hakima (1/5): Great location; hopefully, next time the front desk person can accommodate us better. - The location was amazing; I was within walking distance to everything, including performances and restaurants. The customer service representative at the front desk informed us that our booked room was not ready. They were unable to accommodate us with a king bed, offering only a double bed instead. Unfortunately, we had to leave early at 10:00 p.m. that day due to a family emergency and were unable to stay for the full duration until the next morning. Overall, the experience was disappointing.
- Davis (9/5): -
- Bobbi (8/5): - Location to ball parks. Poor lighting in the bathroom.
- tracyhL13XA (10/5): Business Travel in Cincinnati - I had a great stay! Clean rooms and friendly staff, it’s a perfect location for business travel and walkable to restaurants and bars.
- Vikmic (10/5): Extremely pleasant and warm staff! - Arrived late at night to the Rennaisance Cincinnati, just tired from the long drive. Was immidiately warmly welcomed by all staff, from valet to front desk agents! Everyone was super accomodating and very friendly and playful with my 6 year old son who enjoys playing to be in charge by order towels and our car to be brought up by valet.
Just a big thank you from my family and myself for the warm welcome to Cincinnati and to your lovely Hotel!
- Landysh (8/5): The hotel is beautiful. Location is great. The staff are nice and helpful. Thebreakfasy - I like the staff. Helpful and nice. The room had a smell, and we had to change it. The staff helped us immediately.

- Angie (9/5): Overall satisfied - Convinced No microwave
- amydM8944OI (10/5): Home Away from Home - I stay at the Renaissance Cincinnati Downtown Hotel at least six times a year for work, and every single visit reminds me why I keep coming back. It is truly my home away from home. The hospitality here is unmatched. They are warm, genuine, and consistent no matter the season or how busy the hotel is. I want to specifically mention, Jordan Simon, Senior Sales Manager, and Sara Mayhle, Group Sales Manager, who always go above and beyond to make my stays seamless. Whether it is handling last minute details ensuring accommodations are just right, or simply greeting me with the kind of friendliness that makes you feel like family, they both elevate the entire experience. If you're looking for a hotel in Cincinnati that pairs modern comfort with outstanding service, the Renaissance is the place!
- Mike (6/5): Noisy three to four star hotel… - The location was great and the food at the restaurant was very good. Wait staff and hotel staff wonderful. The noise. Street noise woke us at least twice, cars, busses, trucks…I expect better from a premium hotel.
- amberlZ7312OD (10/5): Amazing!! - We had a church youth activity. The girls wanted to stay at a downtown property and chose this location. Man! How amazing was the staff, the girls were in shock of how nice and beautiful the hotel was. The agent who checked us in was so awesome and attended to our every need! I am beyond thankful for the stay and staff of this beautiful hotel. The youth girls were absolutely amazed and felt special.!!! The valet even vibed with the teen youth girls!!
- Morgan (10/5): -
- Wenda (10/5): I brought my 15 year old granddaughter to see Stevie Nicks at the Heritage Bank Center and I wanted our stay to be extra - The property was easy to find as we came from Pittsburgh, PA. The entrance to the building was nostalgic and just as I expected a Renaissance to look. Clean and inviting! The property was within walking distance to our venue and many restaurants.
- Branden (10/5): Would definitly visit again. - Very clean. Great staff. NA
- Travis (10/5): -
- Kimberly (10/5): - Great area. Friendly staff. They only have valet so just know that.

- Culture61450754768 (10/5): Great stay at the Renaissance - My stay at the Renaissance Hotel in Cincinnati was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make my visit memorable. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and offered a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. I especially appreciated the elegant lobby and the historic charm of the building, which added to the overall experience. The location was ideal—close to great restaurants, entertainment, and everything downtown has to offer. Every detail, from check-in to departure, was seamless and professional. I highly recommend the Renaissance Cincinnati to anyone looking for an outstanding and relaxing stay.
- 516miae (10/5): Day at Renaissance - The check in experience was great. The room was not ready but Lesley provided excellent customer. She took my bags called me room was ready and was super pleasant. I would return again just for the service.
- Luv4vacation (10/5): Very clean rooms and Customer Service was exceptional! - Very clean rooms and customer service was exceptional! Raine at the front desk was extremely accommodating and made us feel like valued members/guests. She recognized a birthday and she added special comforts for our stay. Can’t say enough about how professional and thoughtful she is. She helped make our stay extra special! The hotel is very well managed and everyone we came into contact with was wonderful.
- Christopher (9/5): Conveniently located for The Banks, Paycor and OTR - The hotel was conveniently located close to The Banks and Paycor Stadium, with easy access to OTR and the rest of downtown. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. It would have been nice to have had a bath with a shower over the bath rather than just a shower.
- Navigate647528 (10/5): Excellent hotel! - This hotel has a great concierge lounge, great food and service! The staff was so helpful. Definitely staying here again
- jeff (8/5): A nice place to stay in downtown Cincinnati - location is excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. Decor is a bit on the modern side(especially for an historic Burnham property). Rooms are a bit on the dark side, even with lights on. Decor, lighting in rooms
- Kayla (3/5): I will not return! - The valet were all very nice and down to earth. The front desk young lady was not as nice to me as she was the prior people who check in in front of me on my first night but the rest of the staff was really nice, but she did not make me feel welcome. the rooms were not cleaned at all. there was hair everywhre, noone dusted a thing. The shower door would not stay closed at all so water were every where when showering. The internet did not work well either. The cleaning staff was really rude, my fiance spoke to them and they just laughed and started talking to each other while speking spanish.
- Littlejohn (10/5): -
- Mohammad (10/5): - Clean Room. Great Staff
- Ron (8/5): - Being so close to the connector. Only three of six elevators working. And being an old building these were all small cars. Made leaving with luggage very difficult. Could have used more bath towels in the room. Only have two large towels seemed a bit silly.
- Brian (2/5): - I would not stay again
- Bob (8/5): - Nice
- harriet (10/5): - Beautiful hotel in great location. Standard 2 queen room felt more roomy and airy than most hotel rooms. Beds are very comfortable. Staff were polite. Parking is pricey, but valet service was speedy even on what seemed to be a particularly busy weekend with several weddings, a football game and UC Parents weekend. Would definitely stay again.
- michellebF3861EV (10/5): Raine-Front desk - Raine at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. She helped us to get a wonderful room when i was i tight pinch . She was a blessing.
- Tyler (8/5): -
- Daphne (10/5): - Clean room, really nice front desk staff, such a convenient location
- Eric (10/5): - Excellent hotel
- Elaine (10/5): - I appreciated that location and easy access to the facility. The valet parking option was a wonderful option and appreciation the 24 hours service. The hotel staff was helpful and welcoming.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Everyone was very friendly. It was a packed hotel. The valet was very busy, but very friendly. The valet manager showed us how we could use our phone map for the trolly around town. That saved so much time. We will stay again and definitely recommend!
- Diane (10/5): - We were there for short time but everything went splendidly
- Sheryl (10/5): - Within walking distance to the ballpark. Beautiful downtown hotel.
- Teri (10/5): - Very nice
- Luis (10/5): - Great staff, felt very welcomed upon arrival
- P David (10/5): - Walking distance to the ballpark
- Kathleen (8/5): - The elevator wasn't working when we arrived, so we got to use the freight elevator. Our guide was informative and attentive and shared a lot of history about the property while we waited for the elevator (for a long time). The room was lovely. The view was not. We were on the 5th floor and our room window opened to the air conditioning. It was ugly. We kept the drapes closed. The team was very professional and friendly. The bar was nice but understaffed - we came in for a drink after our concert. There was also a Reds game and a big wedding party. We felt awful for the staff - they really needed more help.
- Lori (10/5): - We had a great stay here. Super convenient to the ballpark, football stadium, the free connect bus that takes you around town and to Findlay market. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Johnette for helping us with check out.
- Dawn (10/5): - Great hotel!
- Jay (10/5): - Jonteé at the front desk was great after a frazeled day. Bar staff great as well. Wpuld stay here again.
- Delmer (10/5): - Had a great stay! Will definitely be back!
- Mitch (8/5): - Place is still nice just becoming a little outdated.
- cheryl (9/5): - Convenient to ballpark
- roberteG9944YM (10/5): Best Birthday Ever!!! - Our experience at The Renaissance was one of the best stays we had at a hotel in a long time. We came to celebrate my wife 64th birthday we live in Cincinnati, but we wanted to getaway for the weekend. The first person we came in contact with was Paul I believe he was the General Manager. He is the friendliest and very professional, Paul made our stay phenomenal, his professionalism and great conversation was top notch! He made sure that we would have a great stay and he never let us down, our check in lady was great her name is Rachel she was very friendly and very patience with us we had a problem getting our friends and family form printed and she helped us with no hesitation, that along tells me that she enjoys her job. Customer service has failed in so many businesses these days, I can assure you that the staff at the Renaissance Hotel Downtown Cincinnati are all about the customers, Thaks again Paul and Racheal for an amazing Birthday Weekend!!!
- Frank (6/5): Elevator issues - The only negative to the stay was the wait for elevators. Only 3 of 6 were in service and they were constantly in use by the wedding that was there or the kids going into elevator and hitting button for every floor
- Tim (6/5): - Cold water for shower!!!! And the lady didn’t care about what my price was from site!! No self parking, and charge ALOT to park your vehicle!!
Not worth the money!!
- Jared (10/5): - Wonderful staff!
- Gregory (10/5): - Close to Reds stadium
Dislike, Did not have pool. I noticed that there isn't a pool. Also i noticed there isn't a 13 floor. that is probably used for maintance and storage. A pool probably could be built on that floor but probably to much work and have to do away with a room on the 12th floor for strength and pool depth. You could give us a pass to a place with a pool nearby to use
- Kelly (8/5): - Was great walking distance from Great America Ball Park. Bar on site was very good.
- Griffen (10/5): - Great clean room with a super cold AC!
- Rebecca (8/5): - Great location. Friendly staff and valet.
- Gwen (10/5): - Convenient and recently renovated
- Joseph (6/5): - Very nice hotel. Front counter lady tricked us out of a king bed and into 2 queens with a “better view”. The view was a brick wall.
- rmQ7871LO (10/5): Breathtaking Wedding venue - Wonderful hotel. Great amenities. Even better valets and special service by Denzel in maintenance for a fridge that died
- Shelly (10/5): - Our stay was only one night but it was great. We had drinks and snacks at the bar. All was amazing and the service was excellent. The bed was sooo comfortable !! We will definitely be back.
- 795jacyb (10/5): The Perfect Venue for My Sister’s Engagement Party - We hosted my sister’s engagement party here and it was absolutely perfect! The GM, Paul, went above and beyond to make sure every detail was flawless—his professionalism and care truly made the night unforgettable. Highly recommend this hotel for both events and stays!
- Nilam (6/5): - More seating areas outside of the bar in the lobby
Not everyone wants to go the bar
- Kora (8/5): - The location is great if you are attending a Reds or Bengals game. There is no self park option as listed, valet only. Our room was not ready at check in, so getting our car back directly after valet parking was a hassle. Room and hotel were very clean. Our view was a concrete block building next door, we couldn’t tell if it was sunny/ cloudy.
