- Kristi (4/5): Good space for longer stays but housekeeping needs to do a much better job! - Location, space, and size of the room, kitchen, so I could eat and stay in. The bed was comfortable. I liked having a separate recliner. Could not hear others in the hotel, which is rare. Upon entering my room, I needed to go to the bathroom and saw that there was 1 sheet of TP on the roll, and there were no additional rolls in the bathroom or anywhere else in the room. The only two towels were on the bottom shelf, and they had hair on both towels. Then, when I wanted to make a pot of coffee the next morning, the coffee pot had not been cleaned and was very sticky. I bought my own TP, got a clean towel, and cleaned all the dishes in the dishwasher before I used anything.

- Sarangapani (2/5): - We were welcomed by the stench of the lobby and the smell continued to our room. Bed cover was ripped and dirty and was not washed for years. Stains in the toilet. Hot water will stop abruptly. We understand the hotels are crowded in this area due to the large number of families coming to Bloomington. But this place is not the place to stay. Please do not add additional stress staying at this place. Not ot mentiona they charge very high price. For an additional $20 there are other clean hotels in Bloomington. If there is an option to upload photos we could have uploaded the photos of the filthy rooms.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Very bad rooms - Checked it to first room got there and it smelled very moldy that’s because cause the air conditioner had the entire floor soaked! So I tried to cancel, but they said they couldn’t give me my money back because I booked through a third-party so they gave me another room. Got to this room and my TV did not work and they couldn’t call maintenance so I decided to take a shower and when I went to the bathroom, I noticed mold all on the ceiling. At this point I was feed up took both keys downstairs and left! Filed a complaint now wa in response! I really don’t want anything short of a free room and my money back it was awful!😡

- Muzic (4/5): - The staff were nice. The room was fine. The only real issue was there was no ice available in the whole hotel. I checked in and I felt that the should have been spoken of during check-in and not after when I went to my room and noticed that I didn't have a ice bucket. Having a fridge in the room with no ice in the freezer didn't help my one night stay overnight

- Becky (7/5): - There wasn't a whole lot that I did like to be honest with you the place was in complete disarray It was very dirty. A chair in our room had been all chewed up or something it was in bad bad shape the beds are not very good I've never stayed in a hotel that was so dirty.
- Treanna (4/5): Disappointing stay - Location is good .. beds were nice We had no toilet paper in room went to ask staff and they took a hour to bring some up said she was locked out of storage room and brought us one unwrapped roll. The pool was closed and no one said anything about it at check in… one reason for staying at this hotel was the pool. The Wi-Fi password did not work.. the ice machine in the refrigerator worked very slow and no other ice in the hotel.

- Icely (4/5): Misleading Listing and Poor Conditions - We’re a traveling basketball team, and we booked Candlewood Suites in Bloomington specifically for the pool and the in-room fridge—both important when you’ve got a group of kids and a weekend full of games. While the fridge is a decent size, it definitely needed a proper cleaning (some mystery liquid was lurking in the drawers—yikes). The biggest issue? The pool. It’s been out of order for nearly a year, but that wasn’t mentioned anywhere when we booked. If we had known, we absolutely would’ve chosen a different hotel. The photos online are misleading. Cleanliness was also a letdown. One of the bathroom pictures in our room had long hair caked to the glass—like it hadn’t been wiped in forever. And unfortunately, every room our team booked had a weird, musty funk to it that was impossible to ignore. Needless to say, our team won’t be staying here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else either—especially if you’re traveling with kids or expecting basic amenities to match the listing.

The refrigerator in our room had a clicking noise the entire time. There was no ice machine on any level except the main/ground floor. No continental breakfast.

Check in took forever because the system shut down. Online and once I reach the facility and checked in, I was not informed that the pool was down for maintenance and that was the whole reason I bought a hotel for my kids to swim. We immediately left the facility and had to book elsewhere for the night and I have not Gotten a refund or any type of accommodation for this

- Laurie (6/5): - Does not offer online check-in. Which is fine, but it did take a while to do the actual check in at the desk. We stayed 2 nights. The 2nd night we got some snacks from their little store. When we went to the desk to have them charged to our room, we found out that we were not checked in. They did take care of it by the time we left. Overall this is more like an extended stay hotel but on the cheaper side.
