- ourvan (8/5): Nice stay - met our needs - First, the good stuff - friendly staff, safe area, clean surroundings, comfortable beds, nice breakfast, great coffee. The hotel was just what we were looking for in the neighborhood where my daughter lives, and was walkable to her flat, so that was a bonus. I would stay there again on my next visit just for those conveniences. As for the bits that were not 5 star - there was a slight odor of sewage in the room, one time it actually woke me up. If we kept the toilet seat down it was quite improved. The see-through, albeit cloudy wall between the room and the bathroom caused a bit of awkwardness from time to time, as we were 2 friends traveling. Knowing that one could see a silhouette of the other showering was a bit angsty. (That's when I headed downstairs for some of that good coffee). In another situation, I had to shower in the dark because my friend was sleeping right next to the wall, and if I'd have turned on the light it would have awakened her. I don't know if there are options to select a room without that feature but I would certainly do so next time if that's a possibility.
- 43khalidi (10/5): Great location - We had a pleasant 5-night stay. The room was clean and modern. A special thanks to Mubarra with a great knowledge of surrounding and for being incredibly helpful during our stay—we will definitely come back.
- nickh29 (6/5): Not ideal but comfy bed - Not great. Awful room layout but comfy bed . Right next to m4 flyover so zero to rub act with curtains open . The shop prices are beyond a joke. Parking not ideal .. quite a walk to nearest tube . Will be using other hotels nearby in future
- dibakarr2026 (2/5): Too hot room and flush of toilet not working - Too hot room and flush of toilet not working. It was our family trip with my 7year old girl and my wife to enjoy Christmas lighting we stayed your hotel from 19th to 21st December 2025 in Room 526. And the first night itself the room was boiling more than 24°c, can't open the window. Called receptionist they seen and offered stand fan. But it was not enough to the level of hotness it was already their. So whole night we couldn't sleep even hardly for 1-2 hours. Following day morning we asked again to the receptionist to change our room. Without changing the room they said maintenance team will fix before we will be back. Surprisingly they didn't fix anything the room was still boiling, toilet flush was not working, and they didn't change our room as well. And no one came to ask or to check if everything was okay even after several times informing to the receptionist that the room is not suitable to stay for a minute also for my little one was suffocating for the temperature. That night again we had to stay their again without any sleep. Its truly truly unprofessional, careless, irresponsible in a shockung setup of hospitality where the basic things of hospitality is missing and no one is interested or bothered to listen to resolve this issues. On our return both my wife and little one were sick, were vomit on way back. So I asked for full refund of my booking with compensation for this harrasment. I was in chat with the hotel front office manager Mr.Abbas Mohammad who appologised but than he stopped responding on compensation. So, I definitely will not recommend to come next time.
- 887benh (4/5): Too hot for sleep - The hotel was quite nice, but the room was 24 degrees during the night (too hot for any sleep). Someone brought me a stand fan at 2.30am, but then, as much as that was a nice gesture, this was rather loud. -Suffice to say, they could not do anything with the thermostat either. I got very angry during the night, and slept maybe 1 or 2 hours only. You could not open the window, to counter the heat, as the M4 was too loud. I will not return.
- essexz (8/5): Overpriced parking - Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights as part of our UK holiday. Amongst the many hotels around the are I chose this because of its swimming pool and sauna. Good points - room was clean and reasonably spacious for 1 adult and 2 children. It came with the usual teas/coffee, bottled water and fridge. Breakfast had a good variety. Swimming pool in the basement was great as well as the sauna. There was also a gym. Not so good points - parking was a bit confusing and overpriced. I wasn't fan of the window in the bathroom as it would illuminate the whole room if light was switched on at night. Unfortunately our check in took quite long time as there was a complicated customer before us and only one receptionist.
- T4285EMashleyh (2/5): Do not go (or park) here. - Imagine my disappointment 3 weeks after visiting to get a £100 parking charge notice, after paying £12 to park my car. Returning to the site, it appears a number of spots are marked with a "H". Others have broken signs which are knocked over / in a bush. I parked one of 3 spaces at the side of the hotel that had no markings. On on side, a wall with a "restricted parking" sign by some doors, showing hashed areas meaning no parking. 2 broken lights on this wall. On the other side walking towards the hotel, a tarriff board which I duly read and paid. It turns out, those 3 spots are not allowed to be used by anyone (I asked this and the neighbouring hotel) and staff tell me they "often catch people out, no-one can use them". Some spots are for the hotel next door (marked red), some for this one (printed H on the floor which you can't see when a car is parked!). Then 3 spots with no markings on them. MANY lights within the hotel grounds and parking areas broken. So of course I parked, read the visible board, paid the tarrif and got a ticket for "parking in a restricted area". I appealed, and lost (they did not answer any evidence, lack of markings, broken lighting, lack of any signage or delineation of areas). I really wanted to let them take me to court, but after a family berevement I have paid the ticket as I cannot deal with the stress. My company and suppliers on this main road use this hotel regularly, and I will be ensuring that they do not do so again when the hotel front desk staff could not have cared less although admitting their signage and advice when I told them I had parked and paid was still lacking. The parking may not be "owned" by them, but their signage inside, and relationship with the landowner should be managed better by them.
- stavanger85 (10/5): Highly recommended hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - This is an exceptional hotel. I was there for four nights, my second stay at this hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful, pleasant and professional. Food quality at the restaurant is excellent. A very convenient hotel for an easy drive to Heathrow, or alternatively, I walked to the train station several times (about ten minutes brisk walk), and found it easy and convenient (just look for the signs indicating a short cut path to the station). I was very comfortable here and will be back. Well done team!
- Heleners (8/5): Lovely stay but a little disappointed - I love this hotel but a little disappointed this year. Stain on sofa which I’m sure could have been cleaned. Stain on carpet. Just doesn’t feel as clean as it could be. Despite that, it’s quiet and comfortable.
- Geedubyafromdorset (10/5): Comfortable rooms, super staff, best all round hotel in the area. - I've stayed here several times when going to matches at Brentford FC, about 15 minutes walk away. I've always been impressed by the helpfulness and courtesy of the staff, both at reception and in the bar/restaurant. Rooms are comfortable and quiet - dont be put off by the proximity of the motorway! The restaurant food is good and fairly priced, though breakfast is a bit on the pricy side. The pool is good to have, although best avoid times when children are likely to be staying. Room prices vary a lot depending on demand, but can be a real bargain at off peak times, especially with the member discount. They certainly compare favourably with nearby budget hotels, which are simply no comparison when it comes to quality.
- 574aigulg (6/5): Unclear car parking information - it’s not my first time with Novotel. The room met expectations, with no surprises, but two issues ruined the experience. First, the hotel website states there are 70 underground parking spaces for £15, but that’s all. I chose to drive to London and entered the postcode. When I arrived at the underground parking, signage was unclear. I assumed that any bay could be used for parking. However, you need to find a bay marked with “H”; otherwise, you’ll receive a PCN ticket immediately. I showed this poor parking information to the reception staff, who admitted that several customers had faced the same issue. I wonder why clearer instructions couldn’t be provided, especially about locating specific bays. It's so easy. The second issue happened the next day at the swimming pool. While swimming, my daughter noticed a poo at the bottom of the pool. The day manager was not very helpful. he nearly shrugged his shoulders. I was do surprised. I know it's not the staff's fault that some guests think it's ok to leave their faeces in the swimming pool but you expect that manager will be more proactive.
- DonJam80 (10/5): AMAZING! - We stayed at the hotel for one night as we watched the England v New Zealand Rugby match (what a game)! The location compared to Twickenham was great and the taxi from the hotel was very competitive. The team are amazing, very attentive, friendly and always willing to help. The F&B area was really funky, we enjoyed a nice drink in the comfy chairs when we came back from the game and enjoyed a lavish breakfast was amazing. We checked out the lovely pool but didn't get chance to use it, next time. We will definitely be back again and for longer next time.
- nzflyboy (4/5): Poor follow-up from management spoiled an otherwise decent stay - We stayed at Novotel London Brentford for a week. The hotel was clean enough and the rooms comfortable, but our stay was repeatedly disrupted by a hot-water problem. We reported it several times and were told three times that it had been fixed, yet even after fifteen minutes the shower still ran cold. Returning later, we found the TV didn’t work either. To the night staff’s credit, they moved us to another room at about 10 p.m., which finally had hot water. They were courteous and professional, but having to pack up and move mid-stay was hardly ideal. We asked several times for the manager to contact us, both to praise the staff who helped us and to discuss the issue. We even said he could either come and speak with us—or read a rather snotty review online, which his bosses might not appreciate. Unfortunately, we never heard from him. The hotel’s location is remote, about a 15-minute walk to Brentford or Kew Bridge stations and near enough to the motorway to notice traffic noise. We wouldn’t stay again.
- nicolacM5082CD (10/5): Last minute booking, but found a real gem. - We booked here last minute when the hotel we were supposed to stay in cancelled on us an hour before arrival. They were very accommodating, we even got upgraded to a premier, executive room. The breakfast was fabulous, the hotel spotlessly clean and it has underground parking and EV charging (which we desperately needed). There's a swimming pool too, but since we weren't expecting to stay here, we didn't use it. I would definitely return here.
- H4631HOtomp (4/5): Such a shame!! - Such a shame, I stayed here for business recently and whilst the food, rooms and general decor of the hotel was good, unfortunately I had issue of my room smelling of raw sewage, really disgusting!! After mentioning this at check out I was told “sorry, will get some one to look into that” bit late considering I was leaving!! I didn’t feel like the gentleman of reception was bothered about the issue, just happy to send me on my way!! Not great!!

Disliked the glass shower into bedroom as sharing with male family member so lacked privacy. Nice restaurant attached with good food but slow service. Dining experience detracted by young family playing on ceiling swing chairs as a game with parents ignoring their behaviour and staff initially ignoring them, until they used them as battering rams

Although made a point we were staying in an executive room, we ahd to ask about parking (which we paid for separately, luckily we asked). Wasnt mentioned about breakfast which we ended up paying for in the morning at a much higher rate than had we pre booked £21.00 each as opposed to £17.50 each. Lesson learnt

They've kept the place clean, friendly and well-working. Downstairs pool can be sometimes a bit populated by screaming people or people not used to pools clearly, but the gym is well equipped for a hotel.

- hayleybS2237YO (10/5): Great hotel, great staff - We were attending a Coldplay concert so we were only staying for one night. We were greeted by Georgia at reception and she couldn't have been lovelier. We had booked a double room and a twin room. Due to a very early start that morning, we had booked an early check in on the double room but the twin room was ready instead. A bit disappointed but no worries. However, Georgia returned our £40 early check in fee. She went and spoke to housekeeping and we were able to get into both rooms early. The pool is located on -2 floor and was so peaceful and relaxing. We would stay here again and recommend anyone attending a Wembley event to stay here too.

- Deborah (6/5): Poor customer service - Firstly, the hotel rooms, the hotel and the restaurant were great value for money and could not fault it. However unfortunately the end of the stay was ruined due to poor customer service. On checking out, I was informed I had accidentally been charged an extra parking payment, but it had been refunded, this would take 2-3 working days to go back in my bank, accidents happen so this was fine. On return home, I opened my online banking to find out I’d been charged £147 not £15. I initially panicked wondering where this charge came from. I phoned the hotel and was told due to me using 2 cards for when I booked and when I checked in, there had been some sort of crossover. I asked for management to phone me back the next day, which they didn’t, so I wrote an email. I heard back the night after so 48 hours in all. I received a half hearted apology. I’ve since realised that it wasn’t one payment of £147 but 2 they took out. I have emailed them again, and still waiting to hear back. I just do not think this is good enough and think it’s extremely poor customer service and has put me off using the hotel again.

- 681safinaa (8/5): Great hotel - Stayed for 3 nights as a family with 2 kids aged 12. Having stayed at Novotels before I had some expectations and these were met. Amy on reception was so friendly and welcoming which was really nice. She is a credit to the hotel. The room was clean, although the cleaning team didnt do a great job of cleaning it on day 2 of our stay. The tops were not wiped down, all he did was make the bed and empty the bins! The door for the sauna doesn't close properly so the heat escapes. This needs looking at. Pool was lovely and clean and at a great temperature. Breakfast was good and plentiful and was replenished regularly. Location wise its not near a tube station but there is a bus that goes to Ealing Broadway which took about 15 mins and was not an issue for us.

- T4285EMashleyh (4/5): A good hotel, but standards and slipping - My wife and I travel regularly for work, and have been staying at this hotel regularly for the past 3 years. During 2025 we have noticed a decline in the quality of our stay, rooms, and facilities. Whilst rooms are generally to a good standard, maintenance is lacking. On my last few visits; Bedding has been quite worn, with small holes/tears and ‘bobbly’ sheets and lumps in the mattress. The gym no longer provides towels, or at least, the shelf is never filled up. Of 2 treadmills, one has been ‘out of service’ for at least 3 months, so good luck getting on the other one! The pool is tiny, and I assume complaints have been made as a booking system is now in place. This is good, until you book, and realise that they have rented the pool out to a 3rd party company for ‘swimming lessons’ - they cordon 1/2 of the usable space of the pool off and shout things like ‘there is lots of people here, but we have paid enough for this lane’. Not a fault of the 3rd party but likewise, so have hotel guests. Now asking guests to book and cram into half an already tiny pool because they are making money renting it out to others is unfair to guests (after all, this hotel does charge a premium compared to others for these facilities). The changing rooms are run down, and of about 20 lockers, only 4 /5 are not broken, so leave the things in your room. If you book an ‘executive’ room - they are pretty much identical in size and design - you get a very small desk next to the existing chair, a nespresso machine and a bath robe, personally I don’t see the value in this. The above said, if you just want a clean and (usually) comfy room, the hotel is a good location for transport links, the restaurant is good and the reception is welcoming. If you plan to use any of the leisure facilities, I’d look elsewhere.

- Tour36794001869 (4/5): No ac or water - The only reason this is not a zero review is due to the staff. We are on the second day of a three night stay. The rooms are appalling. This is summer and there is only a budget version of AC. Our first room was 25 degrees. They moved us. Second room. 24 degrees. Moved again. Third room- much better- 21 degrees. This whole situation took two hours to resolve. Right now, my wife and have returned to the hotel and asked for some bottles of water. We have been informed that 2 bottles of water are only complimentary one the FIRST night! The other nights you have to pay for! I mean wtf. Spending nearly $1000 and no water. Incredible. Stay well away from this place

- Taoni (10/5): - I had a flight canceled with a new flight out in two days. This Novotel was available. I took a chance booking a room and I’m glad I did. The location was perfect to visit Kew Gardens. The hotel offered a great breakfast buffet and a diverse lunch and dinner menu. I would stay here again if I had a few days layover in London.

They didn't use their discretion in solving problems. The front desk lady with short hair ignores you when you make eye contact to greet. I won't recommend this hotel

- Jane (10/5): Calm restful place to re group - The executive rooms are that rare thing, comfy, with everything you need and no hassle. Coffee machine, good mattress calm peaceful room without someone’s dreadful idea of interior design! The tv needed re setting - sky wasn’t working - No problem it’s done! One small glitch, the shower temp mixer needed calibrating but then I like a hot shower so I just got on with it! Will stay again. Love it

Only complaint is a bit more explanation at checkin would have been helpful ie breakfast and check out times and how to use the lift with the key cards. We would defo stay again.
- TearDropTravels (10/5): Nicely Surprised - We booked this hotel last minute and it exceeded our expectations. It's a nice, well kept, clean hotel. Car park felt secure (£15 a night). The restaurant was good too. Thursday curry night very good indeed and all reasonably priced. The bar has hanging egg chairs which were nice to relax on. Beds comfy, water in the fridge (which is a nice cold fridge, not lukewarm) and Rituals hair and body wash in the showers which was nice. The pool area was nice but the only negative was the swim coach using the pool. He constantly shouts and a few minutes past 8pm told her we had to leave (adults only) we were just waiting to take a photo without people in it but no reflection on the hotel. There's also a Sainsbury's a couple of minutes walk away which was handy. Thanks for a lovely stay.

- Portucale (10/5): Outstanding Hotel Experience - I’ve stayed at this hotel several times a year for business, and it consistently delivers an excellent experience. The property is exceptionally clean, and the staff are always friendly, professional, and accommodating. The service is consistently top-notch, with a team that clearly takes pride in their work. Both the common areas and guest rooms are maintained in pristine condition. One area that could benefit from some attention is the pool. On occasion, it seems to be misused by some guests. A more regular staff presence in the evenings might help ensure that hotel policies—such as no children after 8:00 p.m. (apologies if I’ve misunderstood this rule)—are respected. The food is of very high quality, and the pricing is fair and consistent with other establishments in the area. Overall, a fantastic hotel that I’m always happy to return to.

- W7232KUjoeys (4/5): EXPERIENCED DISCRIMINATION FROM A RACIST WAITER - This hotel was the last hotel in our tour (Europamundo group) June 21, 2025 -we got dropped off to spend the night, since we were quite tired and didn't want to go out looking for restaurants, we opted to have dinner at the hotel restaurant in the lobby. The young lady who took our order was very nice, excellent communications skills. We were waiting for our food, when this young man blond haired waiter had a pizza in his hand looking for a table to serve it too -since we ordered a pizza - I flagged him down - he didn't say a word nor even looked at us -he rudely put the pizza on the table. We are 2 Asian guys - I felt bad -it seems beyond him to be serving 2 Asian guys. This person should not be in the service industry, he should be put in a place where he doesn't interact with people. Here in the US, we at least get a greeting from the server and when the food comes out -the server would say enjoy your meal. The lady waitress was super nice, the Indian waiter was also very courteous, even though he wasn't our server he brought us water when we asked for it. Asians beware and avoid this restaurant - go eat somewhere else, the rude waiter won't be happy to serve you.

Room was okay. - I arrived an hour after the check in time to ensure my room would be ready, only to be told the room wouldn’t be ready for ‘maybe another 45 mins to an hour’. No apology, no explanation and couldn’t care less about the inconvenience of needing to get ready to attend a wedding. After pushing for a more reasonable timeframe, i was told i could have a twin room. Better than nothing but terrible service and definitely will not be staying here again.

- 907pdd (8/5): A pleasant stay - A very good stay with plenty of parking. Staff very friendly and room was very clean. Loved the abundance of veggie options at breakfast, although at £21 a head it is a little pricey...knocked off a star as husband ended up having a cold shower, which isn't ideal. Also, a lady sitting right next to us at breakfast was on the phone to her friend on SPEAKERPHONE. I did ask her to stop but she was very rude and refused to use headphones/take her friend off speakerphone. Several staff members saw what she was doing and didn't acknowledge what she was doing or politely tell her to get off her phone. You wouldn't use speakerphone in a high street restaurant so why should your restaurant/bar be any different? Perhaps give your staff some training regarding this, as it hinders the experience for other guests... All in all, a very pleasant stay and we would definitely come here again =)

- collins1405 (10/5): A wonderful surprise - The room is simple but has everything you need, including daily replenishment of bottled water. The staff is very friendly and helpful—especially the night receptionist, a blond guy whose name I can't remember, but he was incredibly kind and assisted me a lot. If I had to mention one minor issue, it’s that there was no bath mat in the room and I had to request one for three days before I finally got it. However, this didn’t impact my overall experience.I’ll definitely be coming back.

- Chris (10/5): Nice hotel just outside London. - Really pleasant stay at Novotel, Brentford. Business trip, didn’t require public transport though Tube 15 min walk. Parking available (£15/N), comfortable beds, good shower, lovely, helpful staff, nice area with small Sainsbury’s store nearby, limited food options without driving. Good WiFi and considering proximity to M4 at no point could I hear the traffic. Hotel has nice indoor pool and sauna. Towels provided at reception. Easy access to London via A4. Only issue for me was cost and quality of breakfast. £21 for buffet. I’d expect cooked to order for this price rather than food sitting in warm trays. The scrambled eggs soggy, bacon fry and orange juice from concentrate. Some patties and fruit but having stayed at Premier Inn, I’d say their breakfast is better & cheaper. Went local for breakfast on day 2 & 3.

- MojiandChoku (2/5): Overcharged, ignored by management, and treated poorly. Deeply disappointing stay at Novotel Brentford. - During my stay, the hotel overcharged me, which I only discovered after receiving a fraud alert from my bank. When I contacted the hotel, staff acknowledged the overcharge and agreed to issue a refund, but no explanation was provided, and neither the General Manager nor the Duty Manager was willing to speak to me, despite repeated requests. This is completely unacceptable. It was particularly frustrating to see a noticeable drop in service during a Mercedes-Benz event, where regular guests were clearly treated as an afterthought. The overall management appeared unprofessional, and the staff were often inattentive.
