Property is in an excellent location and everything is near by! We stayed on the second floor but there is a lift which is rare in such an old property 🙂 N/A
• Jess (6/5): Overall a really nice place to stay, location was perfect and in a good area surrounded by really nice food and coffee s - Very convenient location, balcony with a view of the barrakka gardens, new towels supplied everyday. Kitchen and bathroom were not very clean, felt a bit dirty all around. Limited hot water supply, plenty of times where the hot water would stop running and the shower would then be cold. you can hear everything through the walls, they have a lift but you have to walk up stairs to access it and then when you get out you have to walk up more stairs to reach your room. not very accessible.

• Nelske (8/5): Goed verzorgde, centraal gelegen accommodatie. - Goed verzorgde locatie, erg centraal voor zowel bezoek aan de binnenstad als andere locaties via busstation en bootferry. Mooi uitzicht op Barrakka Gardens en Grand Harbour. Goede schoonmaak elke dag. Probleem met koffiezetapparaat werd heel snel opgelost. Door centrale ligging naast de Barrakka Gardens was het soms druk en onrustig.

Vollkommen ausreichend, da man ja die meiste Zeit draußen verbringen kann. Nur ein kurzer Augenblick und schon ist man mitten im Geschehen von Valletta, mit unzähligen Restaurants und kleinen Shops.

Cliff was very helpful with our questions before we arrived. The apartment was very nice, exactly like the pictures. We enjoyed our stay. The bathroom door had an enormous gap at the bottom and the shower leaked on the floor. The toaster and the hairdryer were both useless. We were woken at 7am two mornings with building work around the corner, not the fault of the apartment owners of course.

• Jaap (8/5): Perfecte uitvalsbasis om Malta te leren kennen. - Wij hadden appartement nummer 1. Het is een ruim appartement met een aparte keuken en zit-slaapkamer. De locatie is perfect, aan de rand van de oude stad Valletta, dicht bij de Upper Barrakka Gardens. De mensen waar we mee te maken hadden, waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We misten opbergruimte voor de kleding etc. Het appartement is groot genoeg om extra opbergruimte te maken, bijvoorbeeld een kast in de keuken.

• nuala (9/5): Recommended. - Stayed here recently for 4 nights in the one bedroom split level apartment. The apartment has everything that is needed if you wish to cook (I didn't). Spacious. The 2nd bedroom is on a mezzanine. Apartment clean and comfortable. Good shower. Towels changed daily. Great location, you are looking out the window at the barrakka gardens. I would recommend this apartment for a short break.

Comfortable bed, everything was clean, location was great and communication with host was exceptional - Location was great, it had everything needed to cook and was clean and presentable. The room I was in could benefit from some updates, some floor tiles were loose and the walls were slightly marked in places. This did not affect my stay but it would be even better if the room was refreshed a little.

• Fabrizio (9/5): Centralissimo - ottimo appartamento all'inizio del centro storico di La Valletta, comodissimo sia per prendere i taxi che per gli autobus. Dalla finestra si intravede uno scorcio del porto e affaccia sui giardini famosi per sparare i cannoni ogni giorno. Proprietario gentile e disponibile. Gli infissi andrebbero un pò migliorati.

• Brock (10/5): Charming apartment in great location - Great location just a few minutes from all the great bars and restaurants of Valletta. Lovely old building with great character. VERY comfortable large bed. Plentiful large towels . Instructions for gaining access clear and simple and they kindly allowed us to check in hours earlier than the agreed time. Just 2 minutes away is the Barrakka Elevator which takes you right down near the Ferry port There's just one tall narrow window which only accommodates one person to sit in its alcove to enjoy the view of the Barrakka gardens across the street and one side of the window can't be opened as it needs a few mm taken off the bottom to prevent it jamming on the tiles. (Sneaked a peek into larger room and it has a bigger enclosed balcony which would easily accommodate 2 or more)

Well equipped apartment kept very clean. Property itself was fine. Only issue was the street lighting at night could be better out of high season. Just need to take a torch as Valletta pavements are quite irregular.

Minor irritation…but asked for no daily cleaning, but it was still done and towels replaced unnecessarily.

• Lyra (10/5): Pure comfort at the heart of Valetta - I visited Barraka suites when they were just opened and until now it exceed my expectations, this is one of my favourate places to stay in Valetta. Proximity and view to Upper Barraka gardens - the signature place of Valetta- is exclusivity of this appartment. Comfort of the appartment and its two spaces is a real advantage to many places in Valetta which are just studios. The flexibility of the owner is another privilege that you enjoy and that makes your stay at ease.

Comfortable and roomy apartment with room to spread out. Clean and tidy and serviced daily. All the required facilities. Restricted view from the bedroom balcony. Recommended Whilst there is an elevator, there are some steps to negotiate before entering and after exiting the elevator. Not a deal breaker.
• Witney (9/5): We loved Valetta! - Location was fabulous , especially with respect to being in the centre of things and close to necessary bus stops for trips further afield. We could hear the gun salute at Upper Barraka Gardens and see the smoke from our balcony! Staff were extremely friendly and Maria very helpful with local suggestions and very obliging when we requested beach towels etc. She even checked the weather and found us an umbrella to save us buying one! Would have liked a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries etc, and the design of the shower meant water would flood into bedroom. Minor things tho.

Lift very convenient. Close access to Valletta main areas and also an easy pickup place for Bolt ride share. Easy communication with host. Provided beach tools where a real bonus! No problems with any noise. Additional shelving in bathroom would be useful.
• Abby (9/5): Great location - Central location, restaurants and shops very close. Daily cleaning of apt which was a bonus and kept nice and clean. The owner replied to messages promptly. As there is continuous construction work going on outside, the noise first thing in the morning may be an issue for some people. We were up early so it didnt bother us too much. Needs a shelf or press in the bathroom as no place to put ur stuff.
• Louise (10/5): Loved the closed in balcony - Fabulous apartment in great location.i was keen on it because of the little closed in balbony area and it was even better than expected. I could sea the sea and the other side of the harbour as well as the upper gardens. It was perfect for a relaxing final 5 days to our long holiday. It was so nice to be able to make breakfast ans a cup of tea and then just sit looking out. It felt as though we were "doing something" while still in our pjs!!! The apart.ent itself was good. Average bed but didn't cause a problem. Plenty of space and rhe bathrooom was fine. The location was great. Easy to walk around Valletta but is was also an easy pickup place for Bolt rides out of town. It was all good
• Paul (9/5): - Great communication with the host. We had a very small issue that was addressed quickly. Clear instructions on how to gain access etc. Daily cleaning was provided. Great shower. Fantastic location beside Barrakka gardens. Would highly recommend this accommodation. Noise from building works at adjacent building was not ideal. On one occassion work was ongoing through the night. Didnt dampen our experience but worth noting.

• gogoldcoast (8/5): Magical Malta - Communication with host was easy, code entrance to bldg easy then keys to room. (no need for glasses or extra light) position was great, mini balcony view also lovely to enjoy. Lift was helpful because there are many sets of stairs. Upon departure lift was out but staff member assisted with bags which was much appreciated. Internet covered many Chanels and AC was necessary when windows closed. Kitchen was well equipped. There are some tight spots between furniture and in shower but it was OK for me..I'm not a big person.
• Dmitrijs (9/5): Perfect location for a shirt stay! - Location made this place wonderful and recommendation worth! Lack of shelves in the bathroom! And if you consider it for a long stay (week+) - a lack of dishwasher and washing machine can make you think twice.

Needs some attention!

A lot of noise from Barrakka gardens which had a festival on over the weekend - can’t be helped but worth noting if you like an early night. The upstairs room is also very warm and so we shared the double bed.

Klimaanlage funktioniert einwandfrei. Extrem gute Restaurants und Frühstückscafes in der Nähe. Offensichtlich lieben die Einwohner Maltas die Salutschüsse in einer ohrenbetäubenden Lautstärke, und das zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit, aber dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts...

• Anne (10/5): Perfekt beliggenhet - Perfekt beliggenhet i Valletta. Kort gåtur fra busstasjonen. Nært til alt. God plass, med kjøkken og spisebord, stue/soverom, bad og en liten balkong. Velfungerende AC. Rent og ordentlig. Stille og rolig på natta.
