• MITSUHIRO (4/5): - チェックインが深夜だったにもかかわらず、快く応対していただき、翌日のタクシー手配もしていただきました。 施設は老朽化がみられ、部屋にゴミ箱や冷蔵庫が設置されておらず、シャワーの湯を最大にしてもぬるかったことなどが気になる点でした。

• Jacobus (10/5): - Het is uitstekend goed hotel met goede service, alle medewerkers zijn alert en behulpzaam. Kamer is ruim en voldoende met faciliteiten, alleen tv chanel heeft maar 15 zenders met storingen, wifi is goed. Kamer netjes en schoon, wel verouderde tapijt. Ontbijt buffet scoort ruim voldoende. Ligt heel centraal bij grote malls.

This is my family most visited hotel while we are in Jakarta. With affordable price and strategic location at the heart of Central Jakarta. Sofyan Hotel offer halal hospitality with friendly staff and owner. When you visit restaurant during lunch or dinner, try to order Indonesian most favourite dish such as Nasi Goreng, Sop Buntut, or Ayam Geprek. Their new coffee shop with halal concept are worth to try!
• I6267CTrital (10/5): Nice Hotel with Batavian concept - They told me this hotel has won the awards as world best family friendly hotel in 2015. And, i could see a few couples stayed at the hotel with their children. The room was clean, looks like home, there only few suite room. I recommended to order ayam geprek or beef tongseng.
• PH (8/5): Nice breakfast but poor cleaningness - The hotel was fine in general. Staffs were nice and the breakfast was great. Well air-conditioning. But the condition of rooms was a bit underexpectation. The room wasn't that clean and noise from the monastery was quite big. Overall it's still good at it's price.
• ハルモニってハングルっぽい名前 (10/5): - 3000円位の料金では抜群のコストパフォーマンスです。 従業員は凄く感じが良い。 朝食も美味しい。 近隣にコンビニあり。 主要交通であるトランスジャカルタの停留所もずっとまっすぐで徒歩10分位。 ここのトランスジャカルタの停留所は、 観光地コタ、モナス、デパート街やブロックMへ行く路線の中央に位置する場所なので、 観光にも便利な位置にあります。 早朝に近くのモスクから流れる、イスラム教の歌や言葉で異国情緒を感じます。 多分、排水溝から出るのでしょうが、蚊や小さな虫が気持ち悪いです。 食べ物を開けておくと小さな虫が群がってきます。

But similar as other small budget city hotel, cleanliness of room is not well maintained. Need to improve more, ie fridge and bathroom cleanliness. • アルバトルス (4/5): 昨年のホテル従業員の方が対応良かった。 - チェックインして案内された部屋の冷蔵庫の中が腐ったような臭いで充満していて、とても水を冷やせるような状態でなかった。部屋を変えてくれるか、冷蔵庫を掃除してくれるかお願いをしたが、ダメでした。さらには、洗面所の排水管がくさくてたまらなかったです。サービスの水も提供してもらえない日がありました。 また、ラマダン中のことも影響しているのか、部屋に運ばれてきた朝食は2日以降お粗末な内容でした。従業員も料理の質も良くないと感じました。 来年もインドネシア ジャカルタへの出張あるのに、どこのホテルに泊まるか 悩んでしまいます。

The location near train station and across big mosque, also in the centre of the city, close to gambir station, grand indonesia mall, cikini street.
• r0meTrav3loften (6/5): Syariah Hotel - This is my first time staying at syariah, because I usually stay at conventional hotel. this hotel is suitable for moslems with mosque facilities, prayer tools that are available in the room, friendly staff by saying "assalamualaikum" every meet, it's like at home. clothing staff is so polite by wearing hijab for women. the food served is also tasty and fit with the tongue Indonesia. clean and comfortable hotel rooms, large closets and mini bar are also provided in the rooms. the bathroom is quite comfortable for a hotel that is not too big but looks good in the arrangement of space.
• Hmvancouver (8/5): Great breakfast, good location, other guests very noisy - Pros: - clean rooms - 24 hour staff - daily water (2 bottles) - good location close to malioboro - fantastic breakfast (if you like Indonesian food) Cons: - not sound proof, other guests very noisy. Door alarm on neighboring suite went off continually throughout the night, staff seemed unable to turn it off - phone rang off the hook to neighboring suite at 3:00am... again staff seemed oblivious

• 742ranit (6/5): Nice but outdated - Picked this hotel because I couldn't get any hotel near my cousin's house. The place is clean and you can find mukena&sajadah for moslem to pray. But the facilities are outdated like the furnitures and the tv. But what can I say since this place is very inexpensive. The breakfast was average they served fried rice, capcay, and sauteed beef with vegetables.
• Rudolph_12 (6/5): safe friendy and in teh middle of town close to subway - friendly and close to major thoroughfare with a minimal close by that offer lots of food and cheap massages. Walking distance to the concert hall. Mostly Muslims in the area so hard to find a bar. The only close by was the Irish/British pub near the concert hall. Subway easy to ride. I think they deliberately shuts off the power after midnight so the room becomes hot. Breakfast was excellent. Wifi excellent
• herrichan (6/5): Ok but need improvements - I stayed here for a wedding event at a nearby place. The hotel location is pretty strategic although it's not located in the protocol street. The room size is like budget hotel, but I don't know why it felt so small and cramped. Maybe because of the furniture. The furniture is quite old btw, started to worn out. Big dissapoinmet was there were no electric plugs by the bed side so you can not charge your gadgets while laying in bed. The breakfast was below average for a 3 stars hotel. Not too many options and taste wise was not good enough. The quality was also pretty low. Big dissapoinmet was the milk served was not good and so watery. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and probably that was one of the good thing about the hotel. Definitely need lots of improvements. I've stayed at another syariah hotel before, and I must say the other syariah hotel was much much better. I must agree with previous comment, why name the hotel with "betawi". I didn't see any betawi culture touch in the hotel.
• 162indirai (4/5): Outdated room facilities - PROS: - Location is in the city centre, located near an elite, quiet residential area (Menteng) - If you're a muslim and like to go to the mosque for daily prayers, the hotel is in front of a mosque - In front of the hotel is a park (well, more of a field), there are many street cuisines there - Polite and helpful staffs CONS: - There aren't many electrical plugs in the room. Especially near the bed so you have to go to the desk. In my room the electrical plugs are very loose. - The TV is really small, there aren't entertainment channels such as HBO, etc. (i know it's a sharia hotel but i think the programs in local channels are far more degrading and stupid than what's on HBO). - I particularly cringe when i see the bath towels, the color isn't white anymore, it's grey-ish, and the hotel should really consider replacing them because at home i don't even keep towels after they discolored like that. - When i arrive at the hotel there's a really damp smell from the wet carpet hall (i think there have been a leak from the roof) and they didn't dry it off, they just cover it with some towels, so i had to smell the damp for two days. - I don't see anything Betawi except the colonial-style building. If this hotel markets itself as a Betawi hotel, i suggest they really all-out with their sharia and Betawi theme, otherwise i don't see the difference. I really recommend the hotel to do some updating on the facilities, because for the price it offers and for a 3 stars hotel you can have better.

• 966agusw (6/5): Training Centre - That's hotel is cheaper vs location strategic. It is a good camp for training centre if you stay 1-2 months. Variety menu is good. Need for improve facility standar and service guest room. It is also good for family packed.

In front the hotel just walk away.. u'll find Cut Meutia Mosque.. one of heritage mosque @ Jakarta... Near that many culinary traditional food.. hmm so delicous.. sate,nasi goreng, padang cuisine and more... Back to hotel, this is sharia hotel model so u can take drugs,alcoholic drink,ilegal couple (lol) go inside... No noise room so quite and peacefully The hotel so hommy, resto so good and there are simple fitness center at top floor.. Superb Location because @ downtown.. Strategic @ Jakarta.. Enjoy Your Sharia Room...
• galihsaf (8/5): Centre spot of Jakarta, close to everywhere - This hotel have warm environment with "Betawi" local jakarta touch culture. Nice and warm staff at the hotel, the room is quite big for two, and price is fairly cheap with great hospitality. The location is strategic mostly close to all mall in centre of jakarta, and museum or other jakarta icon landmark. You can use any online transportation which is cheap or else you can take a walk for free. Food stall also available across the hotel they are ready along the side road with many indonesian cuisine. (Satay, Fries, chicken, local soup "soto, rujak/pecel "local salad" etc.) One of good spot relaxing after Explore jakarta!

Conveniently located in the downtown area near the mosque cut mutia and Monas , this hotel into one great option for you . Friendly service and taste pretty good food presented in this hotel . It's just for wifi access you may need to ask for extra equipment in the room to be connected .
• zaiham (4/5): Poor Location - This hotel is located in a quiet area. Not many taxi driver knows about it. Nothing interesting is within walking distant around this hotel. The breakfast area is quite warm & breakfast is not as good as other hotel in its range. Not advisable to stay unless you have your own transport.
• LongHoang (6/5): Nice staffs and location - I just left this hotel yesterday. Before my trip, I've read many complains about a strange smelly in room and not good airconditioners. But I took this hotel because of location, it's close to my friend's house. - I found the room was old and smell like Indonesian's traditional cigaretes smoke. But it's ok because I'm a heavy smoker :) - The airconditioner word not well and noisy. It didn't makes cool after 3,5 hours. I found the aircon is Panasonic Converter, same in my house so I thought the filters must be dirty. I pulled up the cover and I saw 2 filters were full of dust (see the pic). It's 10pm so I didn't call staff, I cleaned them myself as in my home, only 2 mins. And it worked well. The manager should ask staff clean aircons' filters every 2 week. - Nice staffs but old room, old carpets and old towels. Hope you will change next time :) - Breakfasts are OK for a budget hotel. - Next time I will back.
• Um Hasu (8/5): Comfortable and family friendly - The hotel staff were very accommodating, first letting us check in earlier because of the kids. Secondly letting us check out later because I had a terrible headache I was sleeping off. Everyone was very polite and kind. Very family friendly. Convenient location. Mosque and convenient store within walking distance. Breakfast wasn't enticing for us, it had quite a number of options, but mainly Indonesian dishes. Wish there was bread and Jam...
• Verified traveler (2/5): Falling Apart - Very disappointing stay. For starters, it was annoying to learn that this 5-storey hotel only has elevator service for the first 4 floors. My room was not much better: old carpet and the shower drain clogs. To matters worse, my room was literally falling apart where the light switches became dislodged from the wall, which was a safety hazard. This safety issue was addressed to hotel management and reception refused to assign an alternative room; the best that maintenance could do was to re-attach the light switches with packing tape......packing tape!!! The breakfast was not great either. At times the serving warmers were bare and the juice dispenser empty.
• shviful (8/5): hotel with Shariah concept - This hotel was perfect and quite spacious. Stand with Islamic concept, only legal couple are allowed to stay together. My room was at third floor. Is only too many hair fall on my bed and inside the toilet. The toilet also have a bit unpleasant smell every time I want to use. My room has a window but blocked by the next building wall. By the way, their staff is good.
• Danilo Jr (8/5): - Sofyan Hotel Betawi Jakarta has a very strategic location suitable for my business trip. The hotel served delicious and sumptuous meals especially the buffet breakfast. The room where I stayed was also kept clean each day. The staff are also friendly and very helpful.

• Steve (6/5): Disappointing. - We had asked for a room with 2 double beds for my wife and I and our adult daughter. On arriving they gave us a room with 2 single beds and said they would put a single mattress on floor for our daughter. They called this a room upgrade from our booking. None of the staff spoke much English so couldn't resolve the problem and we ended up having to accept the room as offered. It was only after we registered that they informed us there was no hot water and didn't know when they would have any. The neighborhood is upscale for Jakarta but still not great. A few good restaurants close by and train station is 2 blocks away. The hotel does have an awesome breakfast included in room price.
• Mary (8/5): would stay here again. - I dont speak Indonesian and they did tgeir best to help me, all smiles, great service, professional manner. Welcoming. Helpful. Hotel rooms very comfortable and clean, a/c very good, easyvto get transport or use hotel driver. Very affordable
• Stephen (8/5): Inner city Jakarta - The hotel was in a good location.The staff had very little English.Hot water was an issue you had to run the water for at least15 minutes. The staff were very polite and willing to be of service.
