Those are unrealistic hours as you can’t really use it the morning of your departure. Definitely would not have chosen to stay there had we known.

Hallways were a little dingy with slight odor. Room was large and clean. Well furnished. Large bathroom. Towels ample and good quality. Had a frig, coffee maker and microwave. Only con would be the bedding! Bottom sheet didn’t stay put and sheets cheaper quality or ready to be replaced. But also too small for a king bed, not enough material on sides to cover up and we’re small people.!

- T9807LHaprilb (10/5): Welcoming and clean place to stay - The hotel is similar to all other Hampton inn hotels in its offerings but goes above and beyond in its service standards. The place is clean, the lobby is nicely decorated and almost homey. The people are friendly and accommodating. They appear to work together well for the benefit of the guests. This tone has to be set by management. Unfortunately, I see that less and less these days.

- dperine (4/5): Not Even In a Pinch - Normally, I wouldn’t leave a bad review. But after the staff commented on me when they thought I couldn’t hear them. I will say my peace. I wouldn’t stay here again even in a pinch. It’s not up to the Hilton standard when it comes to staffing. I am a Diamond member who stays all over the world with this brand. I was first sent to a room to bust in on the cleaning lady. They claimed it was a system error that prevented them from seeing the room was still dirty. If the cleaning lady wouldn’t have been in the room. I guess I would’ve been in a dirty room. I went back downstairs and Lisa tried to rectify the situation with an upgrade (which I appreciated). I came back out the room and asked Lisa right away for a late checkout since I had a work meeting.. She agreed to 12pm the next day. I was then texted as they always do by the staff to make sure everything was okay. I again asked for confirmation of my late check out. The front desk staff Keyunna (who had originally sent me to the dirty room) confirmed AGAIN that I was all set for 12pm. The next morning comes and I have a knock from housekeeping promptly at 11am because they have no record of my late check out. I did all of that confirming so that I would not be interrupted during my meeting. Just to be interrupted during my meeting. I then called the front desk and was informed by the same staff Keyunna that there was no note for my late checkout. Despite her confirmation via text message that I was good. I proceeded to ask to speak to the manager. Once I spoke to her, she made apologies and made it seem like she would speak to her staff about all of these miscommunications. She even went as far as to agree with me that there needed to be better communication. Despite her saying that they essentially bent over backwards to accommodate my “hours in advance check-in”. I promptly corrected her that I showed up after 2:40pm which caused her to backtrack and recheck. More miscommunication! I agreed again to a 12pm checkout. So imagine my surprise at 12:30pm when I am sitting in the business center (they didn’t know I was there despite me telling the manager during our call) completing my meeting. I hear them referencing my room and Keyunna saying she’s called my room multiple times. A voice responded to her (practically yelling down the hall) saying “well she’s already pissed off so we will give her a few more minutes”. As if I wasn’t validated in my feelings of this place of chaos and confusion. I promptly spoke up to Keyunna as she was walking by and said I was checked out at 12pm and out of the room. Unlike your staff here at the Hampton, I know how to do what I say I’m going to do and on time! How unprofessional of a place.

- DianeB845 (10/5): A very nice, well-maintained Hampton Inn - Checking in on a very hot day went quickly. Carly was very welcoming and offered us 2 bottles of ice cold water. Our room was nice and cool, the bed was comfortable, and it was clean. We also stayed here 3 days later, on our way home. Once again, we were greeted by Carly with bottles of water and she asked about our adventures during the week. We were totally surprised to learn the hotel was 11 years old. It looked like it was new.
- dianebG1267JO (10/5): You're treated like family at a very nice hotel - We stayed here July 27th & again on the 31st. Both times, we were made to feel very welcome when we checked in. Carly was very friendly, informative, and offered us a bottle of cold water. Our bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. We were very surprised to learn the hotel was 11 years old because we thought it was brand new. The breakfast area was very clean and there was plenty of food. The scones were delicious. We were so glad we stayed here and would gladly recommend it to others.

- Frankie (10/5): My favorite hotel in Gulfport - My husband and I try to stay at this hotel whenever we are in Gulfort. The location great. Its right off of I-10. The rooms are clean, great service and the breakfast is really good.

- DENISE (10/5): - Expensive but nice hotel . I left my charger - I thought he got it , he thought I got it , so we KNOW we left it . Called several times and was told it wasn’t in the room but housekeeping did not turn it In. So where did it go ? My own fault I know but should have been turned in .

- Jennifer (10/5): - The front desk staff was wonderful, the entire property was extremely clean, and the restaurant choices within walking distance were exemplary! Huge shout out to the maintenance/cleaning man (I cannot remember his name): that man NEVER quit working! He was ALWAYS sweeping/mopping/wiping things down!! The woman with the gray hair that works the breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing. She was SO kind and was helping everyone while keeping the food fully re-stocked. I have never seen someone at a Hilton hotel work harder and kinder at the breakfast buffet than her! Overall, AMAZING experience. We will be back!! :)

Wasn’t notified that the pool wouldn’t be open until the next day after booking in and that was the point in paying almost 200$ to bring our kids there. Some trash was shoved at the head of bed and a pad was shoved in the bathroom drawer. I was disgusted to say the least.

- Mary (10/5): - Nothing to complain about...property and room were clean and well kept. The free breakfast was decent and included most of your typical items, and the staff kept it well stocked. The area around the hotel provided for a variety of other eateries and shops. This was within 15 minutes of the gulf.

- RANDY A (6/5): - Friendly staff but, the hotel needs a lot of TLC. Rusting of the light fixture in the batroom was one thing i noticed and, we lost satelite TV during a heavy storm so be aware that may happen. Best part of thus hotel is the staff! Phenomenal !
